Jada’s pov ?
“Hi. I’m Jada Costa. The new nanny.” I inform the security guard throu-gha screen. I look around as I wait and I love their security.
To have such security requires a small fortune. The footpath gate opens and I enter to find a 6’3 man with a buzz cut standing behind it.
He tells me to follow him and I do just that. A beautiful dark skinned middle age woman stands infront of a large door that is closed.
Her hair is in a ti-ght bun and she’s in a tailored skirt with a coat. I could @$$ume that she’s the lady of the house but she seems too professional.
And based on the files I have, Sarah Williams doesn’t look like her.
So she must be Leah Saint. Sarah’s best friend and house manager.
“Welcome to the Williams’ mansion. I hope you are Jada Costa, Leonardo Williams’ new nanny.”
“Pleased to meet you Mrs.
” I try placing a smile on my face but it seems ha-rd and so I go with a straight face. I raise my hand for a greeting and she takes it into her warm ones.
“I’m Leah Saint. I manage the Williams household.” With that she turns and I follow her.
She opens the large door and we get in.
I look around impressed. I place an astonished face as I look around but in real sense I’m scanning the house.
Leah guides me to a room and tells me to wait for Mrs Williams. She asks me if I nee-d any drink but I decline.
I sit and continue looking around.
Five minutes later, I hear footsteps and I instinctively turn towards the sound.
Another middle aged woman with brown hair and honey brown eyes dresses in an elegant yellow dress comes towards me and I immediately recognize her from the files.
Sarah Williams. She’s Leonardo’s paternal grandmother. She owns her own clothing line called ‘Pretty Ladies’ and has had it for twenty five years.
Her husband death was caused by a cardiac arrest ten years ago and since then she’s only been seen with one man for almost a year but broke up a few months ago.
“Mrs Williams. I am Jada Costa. Leonardo’s new nanny.” I introduce myself and raise my hand for a greeting but she only looks at it and moves to a seat studying me.
I know my eyes and face seem cold and even emotionless because she looks at me unsure.
“Leonardo’s wake up time is at eight a.m. His breakfast is at nine a.m, he’s homeschooled and so his teacher Mr Bullock, should be here as from ten a.m.
Lunch is at noon, he resumes his cl@$$es at one p.m to three…” She raises an eyebrow and looks me.
“You ought to be writing dear. I don’t repeat myself twice and I don’t tolerate tardiness or stupid mistakes.”
“I have a good memory ma’am. Don’t expect otherwise from the best.” I say and she looks at me for a minute.
She so damn ha-rd to read. Finally, she nods her head with a small smile which vanishes in two seconds. Wow!
“Where was I again?” She asks and I know she’s testing me.
He resumes his cl@$$es from one p.m to three.” I say and she nods again.
“He has an evening snack for thirty minutes then you will take him out for a walk for an hour.
You shouldn’t go further than ten miles from the house. He has his weekly visits to the doctor every Fridays from nine a.m and so he should be ready by eight sharp.
His meals are made by the cook and so it’s your duty to make sure he takes them in time.
His medicine are on the top left cu-pboard, Leah will show you where and tell you their prescription. I believe you’re aware of Leonardo’s condition?” She asks and I reply positively.
“Okay. Now that that is settled, Leah will show you to your room.” She says then stands and leaves. Leah gets in a minute later and asks me to follow her throu-ghthe gorgeous house.
Everyone seems so professional in this house. I never imagined Sarah Williams would sound that way. She seems so cold.
“This is Leonardo’s room.” Leah’s voice interrupts my thoughts. She then moves two doors after Leonardo’s and stops again. “And this is yours.
Your bag and suitcase is already placed inside. Hope you find it to your liking.” She gives me a small smile and leaves.
I open the white door to find large room with cream walls. The queen sized bed is on one side of the wall. I see two doors on either sides of the bed.
I @$$ume one leads to the closet and another to the bathroom. I turn and look at the gigantic room.
I’ve always been in small bedrooms and to be honest, I feel uncomfortable in this. I don’t nee-d this much space.
I go to my suitcase and get out my laptop and set it up on a reading desk. I take out the tiny cameras and place them next to the laptop.
I hear a knock. I quickly place the cameras in the suitcase as quietly as I can.
“Mrs Saint. How can I help you?” I ask.
“Call me Leah. We’re going on a house tour. I don’t think I’ll find any other time to do this.” Perfect. I step out shutting the door behind me.
I follow her for about half an hour. The house is magnificent and large. The Williams are known around the state because of Jayden and Jacob’s father, Raul.
He was a renown automobile engineer. His first son, Jacob followed in his footsteps but became an aerobic engineer just like his wife.
His second son Jayden, became one of the best basketball players in the country.
There are talks of the youngest child, a daughter but no one seems to know the truth about it.
I make sure I’ve mastered the perfect corners around the mansion to place my cameras.
Just as we reach at the foot of the stairs, the front door opens revealing a cute nine year old. His hair is ash white just like in the photos.
He got it from his dad and grandfather. He has his late mother’s green eyes.
“Leah! I’m back and look what uncle got me.” He runs excitedly to Leah holding a basketball but suddenly stops when he sees me.
“Leo. Say hi to your new nanny, Jada.” I’m really not used to being called a nanny and I slightly cringe. Leonardo studies me with a scrutinizing stare.
“Hmm. She’ll do.” He says and I look at the sp-ot he was just in blankly. She’ll do? Leah’s laugh brings me back from my slight state of shock.
“He likes you. Just go to his room. You’ll meet his uncle later.”
I give her a curt nod and go towards Leonardo’s room.
I knock once and get into his room and find him trying to dribble the ball.
“Uncle Jay said he’ll teach me how to. But I’m getting better.” He says looking embarr@$$ed but I only smile.
“I can also teach you some other day.” I say and he grins. He places the ball on top of his shelve.
“You’re prettier than Alexis.” I let out a laugh.
“Who’s Alexis?”
“A model who works for grandma. She’s obsessed with uncle Jay and grandma. Uncle says that she’s just his friend but I think she loves him.” I listen to what he says registering his words.
“What made you come to that conclusion?” I ask and he answers. That’s how the rest of our time together went on until it was his resting time. I go to my room.
I remove my blonde wig and brown contact lenses leaving behind my natural look.
I then undress leaving myself Na-ked and open my bathroom door and get in but what I see shocks me.

Jada’s pov ?
“I’m nine, not four Jada. I don’t un-derstand why everyone keeps forcing me to eat these…
” He makes a disgusting face. “… things.” He lifts up a broccoli on his fork.
I give out a short laugh. “Hey, I made you laugh.” Leo says in disbelief then turns to look at the chef.
“Rita, I made Jada laugh. Isn’t that just mind-blowing!” Rita and I laugh once again at his expression.
“I know what you’re doing. Eat your vegetables. You nee-d them to fight all diseases.
” I say and he frowns a little bit but starts eating but stops after two bites then looks at me with a look saying ‘see I ate’.
“Let’s make a bet then. You eat then I’ll sing a song before you sleep.” Just as I finish talking, the fourth bite takes place and I snicker.
Just then Sarah Williams comes into the dinning room.
Leo’s eyes light up when he looks at her and I raise my eyes to where she stands. I know my body has suddenly gone rigid and my face impasive. It’s a body instinct. That’s how I react to anyone I don’t trust.
I find Sarah looking between me and Leonardo with a blank look for almost a minute. I see a questioning look p@$$ for a second before she moves to her chair.
“And where is Jayden?” Sarah asks no one in pa-rticular but Leah moves towards where she is and starts serving her.
“He just got in with his… friend. He should be here any minute now.” Leah answers and Sarah doesn’t say anything.
I look at Leo to see his happy expression changed and his eyes watery. He looks at his plate and nibb-les at his broccoli.
“The doctor said that I’m improving nana.” Leo starts again but Sarah gives him a small smile for a second and her face turns emotionless. Poor Leo.
Laughter then is heard outside the dining room doors. I look towards it and a laughing woman gets in.
She has beautiful curly brown hair and eyes the same color as mine. Odd.
That’s Alexis.” Leo whispers looking at her. I only nod and a man I saw half Na-ked today comes in.
I take my eyes away just in time as Alexis sports me and the laugh stops.
They move towards the table and Jayden Williams holds her chair for her. Hmm.
He then moves to Sarah and kizzes her forehead but she doesn’t move.
Jayden acts as he’s not bothered by the indifference but I notice his jaw clench a bit and his left hand fist for a second.
“Jayden. Meet Jada. He’s Leo’s new nanny.”
His eyes roam around and finally lands on mine. His face shows confusion for two seconds until he only nods.
I see Alexis turn her head towards me and I look away. I’m not ready for any type of dramas.
I know he saw the real me in the bathroom but now sees a different Jada.
“I feel sleepy. Leonardo mutters beside me and I look at him. I see only a small portion of the vegetables on his plate and so I excuse him and I.
“Why did uncle look so shocked when he saw you? Do you know each other?”
I look at him speechless. “How did you come to that conclusion?” I ask instead.
“He just looked surprised when he saw you.” I nod at that but say nothing until we arrive at his room.
“Let’s just say we had an eventful meeting earlier today.” Leo just laughs at that. He goes to his bathroom and cleans up as I wait for him.
He comes out already in his pajamas and holds something like a box with attached to some wires.
“What’s that?” I ask eyeing the things in his hands.
“I don’t know. It’s something I’m making.” He replies and suddenly a I see a light. I look up at him surprised.
“Who taught you how to do that?” I ask in awe.
“I dunno. I used to see mum and dad trying things out.” He says and a sad expression appears. “I’m tired.
I think I’ll sleep now.” I nod in un-derstanding. Maybe too much un-derstanding. I tuck him into bed and get up. “You didn’t sing that song you promised.” He reminds me and so I do until I notice he’s asleep.
I silently get out of his room and go to mine. I set up my laptop as I free myself off the wig and lenses. I see my phone next to the laptop and pick it up then call Cole.
“Send me details about Alexis.” I say when he immediately picks up the call.
“Hello to you too. What’s her second name?” I realize I don’t know it.
“I’ll send it to you tomorrow morning.” I suddenly feel stupid. He only laughs and I cut the call when he starts saying something.
I change into an oversized shirt and set an alarm for two a.m.

I take my phone and notice it’s the two a.m alarm.
I switch it off and go to the laptop on the desk. I take out the small cameras from my suitcase then test to see if they work.
I wear a pair of yoga pa-nts then take the cameras with me. I start with Leo’s room. He’s sound asleep.
I move closer to him and see he’s holding something.
The closer I move the more I realize it’s something like a ne-cklace. I stand next to him and kneel.
It’s a locket. I can’t see the photos but something with the same color as is hair is seen. I sigh and get up.
I go to the strategic points and place two cameras in his room.
I get out and move around the house placing the cameras in hidden corners as silently as possible until I’m left with the kitchen.
I start walking towards it until I enter. I see a man’s figure leaning against the fridge with clear liquid in his gl@$$.
He moves a little bit to my direction and stops in his direction as he notices me. With my black hair and blue green eyes. Again.
He doesn’t say anything and I move towards the cabinets and pretend to search for a gl@$$.
“If its the gl@$$es you nee-d, then they on the left lower cabinet. I nod and move to the said cabinet then take out a gl@$$. I fill it with water then start heading towards the door with two of the cameras in my palm.
“Who really are you Jada Costa?” I turn to look at him and find he’s already doing the same.
Jayden Ken Williams
Ash blonde hair and pale blue eyes
Twenty seven years old.
That’s what the file said. I let my eyes roam his body. His file said he’s 6’2. He has a perfect height for his sport. I also remember reading that he’s seen with different women all the time.
The moon light make his eyes seem a bit darker.
I remember getting into the bathroom and finding him brushing his teeth in only a towel covering his lower body pa-rts.
We stared at each other with wide eyes. I was Na-ked because I never thought anyone would be in there until he told me that his bathroom’s shower head had a problem and so he came to this since the bathroom was shared with the next room.
I didn’t know that. I just turned and left him without a word.
“What do you mean Mr Williams? I’m a nanny for Leo.” I reply innocently.
He studies me. “Then why do you look different every time I see you then. I know that it’s only me who sees you this way. Why the secrecy?”
I don’t know what to answer him and so I lie with what comes to my mind first.
“I used to get bullied because of my looks and so I’m uncomfortable with showing it.” I place a sympathetic look and it seems Jayden falls for it because he cringes a bit.
“You mean this look?” He asks after a while and staring at me dumbfounded. “Im sure they would kill to look just like you.
You should show it to people.” With that he leaves the kitchen leaving me now the speechless one.
