CHAPTER 28
MONICA’S POV
I gave Justin a confused look “No.”
Justin pleaded “Please.”
I scoffed “Never…!”
“Justin!!” Mia yelled as she walked in angrily.
I Gr0-ned loudly “I thought you’re gone.”
“Quiet, you dumb lying waitress, Kayla said that I’m allowed to pick my stuffs which is you Justin.” She said.
“Can you go, please. I’m busy with something.” Justin said, still starring at Gigi.
“Mommy, who are those people?” Gigi asked.
“Uhh…”
“Wait, Did she just call you mommy? You have a kid?” Mia asked.
I rolled my eyes with a sigh “Guys, just leave please.”
”You didn’t even tell me? Your darling sister?” Mia pouted.
I glared at Mia “Shut up.”
“Mommy, you have a sister?” Gigi asked.
“Yes baby, and which means I’m your Aunt, so call me aunt Mia.” She said proudly.
“Mia…”
“I can’t believe you didn’t tell your daughter about me. Is it because you ran away from your family and business?” Mia scoffed.
“What?” Gigi exclaimed.
“Sweetie that’s not true, they kicked me out.” I protested.
Mia scoffed again “Yeah right, why would I lie about something you actually did?
You even didn’t tell your daughter anything about your family, how heartless are you? I bet you even lied to her about her dad.”
I dropped Gigi and grabbed Mia’s shirt collar angrily “Get out.”
“Guys this stupid waitress is hurting me.” Mia yelled and I released her immediately.
She smi-rked “You think you can sabotage my vacation? I’m way better. So watch out.” she warned as she grabbed Justin’s hand and stormed out.
I shook my head and bent “Gigi, I…”
“You even know about daddy! I hate you! You’re a bad mommy!!” Gigi yelled and ran inside.
I burst into tears feeling hurt by what she said. My daughter h.ates me?
I noticed people were starring at me, I stood up and wiped my tears, then stood at the counter.
I can’t believe Mia would just tell a little girl about my sad life story and still lied about it.
I don’t want to see her again or else I would do what I’m not supposed to do. I swear on my life.

*LATER THAT DAY*
JUSTIN’S POV
Trevor walked in glaring at me “What did you want?”
I called him for the bead br@celet “Can I have the br@celet back?” I asked.
“Why? You already sold it to me.” He said.
“And it caused you a lot of trouble. Just bring it, I’ll give you back the money.” I said and he gave me the bead br@celet.
I smi-rked as I stared at the br@celet and the small bead with oreo logo I removed from it.
“Thanks, here’s your money.” I gave him the money and walked away.
I know how I’ll get Monica back without Mia having any idea.
I don’t know why Teddy even closed the restaurant but I like it.

MONICA’S POV
“Thank you, come again.” I said to the customer leaving.
I noticed Gigi’s glaring at me. I smiled, knowing she’s doesn’t hate me, she’s only mad at me.
I’ll have to tell her everything, even though she’s too young but too smart.
Teddy walked in with a sm-irk “Hey babe.” He said to me as he sat down at a booth.
I rolled my eyes “Teddy, don’t call me that.” I scoffed as I sat beside him.
He grabbed my hand “Let’s get out of here.” he pulled me out of the restaurant.
“Teddy, where are we going?” I asked.
“You’ll see.” He said.
He pulled me to the hotel and we entered his Lotus Emira car and he drove off.
He didn’t even say a word to me as he’s totally focused on the wheels.
After 30 minutes driving, he parked his car at an old parking lot. We came out of the car and saw where we are. Which I don’t know.
Everywhere is full of abandoned unpainted tall buildings decorated with graffiti paintings, like it’s vandalized.
I frowned “Teddy, where are we?” I asked.
He smiled “You’ll see, follow me.”
I gulped as I followed him to the back of a building and I gasped in surprise as I set my eyes on the most beautiful place I’ve ever seen in my life.
A large garden full of beautiful flowers and trees, and clean shiny lake with lily flowers surrounded by the colourful flowers. bu-tterflies flying around them and birds singing beautifully.
I scoffed as Teddy hu-gged me from behind “Do you like it?”
“Like it? I love this place! It’s beautiful, how did you know this place?” I asked.
Teddy shrugged “I come here a lot of times whenever I’m sad, this place always cheers me up.”
“Wait, how long have you been in Florida?” I asked.
“Since last year, I was looking for you but I couldn’t find you, then I did found you.” He said as he kssed my head.
I blus-hed as he kssed my li-ps. We pulled away and sat on the floor, admiring the beautiful view.
There was an awkward silence between us but I decided to break the silence.
“So, about what happened last night…” I said nervously.
“What about last night? We almost had sx.”
“Did you really mean that word ‘I love you’?” I asked.
“A lot, look I’ve been in love with you since high school, I don’t know how to admit it because of Justin.” Teddy said feeling nervous inside.
“So now you didn’t just gather the courage, also se-duced me to sleep with you last night.” I said, feeling a little annoyed inside.
“Look, I’m sorry okay? It’s just I’ve never felt like this before in my life.”
He sat up right “I really love you but I didn’t know how to admit it. I was advised to do what comes into my mind so I did.”
I smiled “I love you too.”
Teddy frowned in shock “Really? You’re joking right?”
“Does it look like I’m joking?” I asked.
Teddy shook his head “No, I just…” he hu-gged me ti-ghtly.
He disengaged and held my hands “Will you be my girlfriend?”
My smile fade away “Uhh yes.”
He grinned happily as he hu-gged me ti-ghtly and kssed my cheek.

*FEW MINUTES LATER*
We went back to the hotel, I was working at the counter, serving customers, smiling uncontrollably.
Teddy asked me to be his girlfriend, I’ve not tell anyone. Gigi is with Bianca.
I gotta admit it but I really love Teddy, not because of last night but because he’s so sweet, kind, and he has vibes and I don’t know why I still like him.
But I don’t know if it’s just me but why do I feel like Teddy has changed.
Before he was a sweet playful innocent nerdy guy but now, he’s stylish, arrogant sometimes, nau-ghty and cuter.
Why do I feel what Justin was telling me is true?
“Monica!” Mrs Greg yelled at me feeling worried.
“Yes Mrs Greg?”
“Something happened to my restaurant.” She said.
I frowned “What happened…?”
I gasped as she showed me the picture of the Big Burger restaurant demolished on her phone.
“What the…?” China gasped as she saw the picture.
“How did it happen?” I asked.
“I don’t know, some of Mr Griffin’s employees were saying it’s Teddy’s idea.” Mrs Greg said.
I frowned trying not to believe. Why would Teddy do such a thing? What’s wrong with him? Trying to ruin my business?
CHAPTER 29
TEDDY’S POV
I couldn’t stop thinking about yesterday, Monica is now my girlfriend. I’m so happy about it.
I just wish she forgives me for what I did to her. It’s a surprise for her. I just wish she hasn’t find out yet.
I was in my hotel room, on my bed, using my phone, thinking about it.
My door was opened and Monica walked in, looking unhappy.
I stood up with a smile “Good morning babe.” I wanted to embr@ce her but she pushed me away.
“How could you do this to us?” She yelled.
I frowned “Do what? What did I do?”
“What’s the meaning of this? And why?” She asked showing me the picture of the Big Burger restaurant that I sent some guys to destroy. From her small Itel phone.
Oh no, how did she know? It’s supposed to be a secret and surprise. I can’t tell her anything.
I scoffed nervously “Wha… What are you talking about? I didn’t…”
“Really? You didn’t do it?” She completed “Everyone has been saying that you did this. Why?”
I wanted to lie again “I would never…”
“Oh shut up, just admit and stop lying.” She said.
I sighed sadly “I’m sorry.”

MONICA’S POV
“Sorry? Sorry won’t bring back our restaurant, my business, the only thing I’m using to take care of my daughter.” I ¢ried bitterly.
Teddy wanted to hold my hand “Monica…”
“Don’t touch me!” I slapped his hand away.
I shook my head “I can’t believe you would do such a thing.
I didn’t want to believe that the Teddy I used to know is gone, but now you’re just an heartless Theodore.” I said bitterly.
He clenched his fist angrily “Don’t call me Theodore.”
I scoffed “You ruined my business and my life and now you don’t like people to call you by your full name, you’re supposed to be proud of that name. Theodore.”
“Don’t call me Theodore.” He repeated.
I rolled my eyes “What if I do? What are you gonna do to me? Mr Theodore Griffin…”
He gritted his teeth and grabbed my hair ti-ghtly “Ow! Let go of me.” I cried.
He released new immediately, looking guilty.
“I’m sorry, I have hot temper.” He said.
I moved backwards feeling scared, till I reached the door and opened it “It’s over between the both of us.”
“What?!” He exclaimed.
I quickly ran out of the room before he could do anything.
That’s not the Teddy I know. I un-derstand he hates it when someone calls him Theodore.
I still don’t know why he destroyed the restaurant.

TEDDY’S POV
I sat on the bed and started shedding uncontrollable tears. I can’t believe the most beautiful relationship I started yesterday has ended already.
I’m just trying to control the anger issues Monica gave me 5 years ago. She’s the reason why I changed.
My life was a mess since she left me that day she tried to kill herself, she walked out on me and everywhere was blurry, my head felt strange and that’s what turned me into this.
I h.ate how everyone pronounces her name, I become furious, lose my temper, destroy anything I see, but I can’t ruin anything that can destroy her life.

CHINA’S POV
I was cleaning the counter with towel because of the soup I mistakenly spilled while serving customers.
I stopped as I sighted Trevor walking in, smiling se..ductively at another girl, not Amanda.
I don’t think these one is related to Trevor because of the way she hu-g his ne-ck and they’re about to kss.
I mistakenly smashed a glas-s cu-p on the floor which separates the two love birds and attra-cts people’s attention.
I scoffed nervously “I’m so clumsy with the fancy glas-ses.” I bent and was cleaning the counter.
I don’t even know what I’m saying. Great, Trevor h.ates me and already had a real girlfriend.
I frowned with a pout as I cleaned up the broken glas-s pieces, went out and dump it in the trash.
I yelped as someone hu-gged my wai-st, Trevor?
I pushed him away “What the fk dude?”
He scoffed “What? I’ve done this with you, why did you push me?”
I rolled my eyes “Just go, I know I’ve done stupid things that made you hate me and now you have a girlfriend, I’m sorry for accusing wrongly but that doesn’t mean you should cheat on your girlfriend.”
“Lilah is not my girlfriend.” He admitted.
I scoffed “Oh really? Then who is she? Your other cousin that you’re trying to kss?”
“You know, you and your friend are the same, you don’t know what’s going on, you don’t wanna know. You just jump into conclusions.” Trevor said.
“Then who’s Layla?” I asked.
“Lilah.” Trevor corrected.
“I don’t care.” I snapped.
“Lilah is just clas-smate from college, I just invited her here so…”
“Just admit she’s your girlfriend.” I cut him off.
“She’s not my girlfriend, okay? I just invited her here to make you jealous because of humiliating me yesterday.” Trevor blurted out loud.
I blus-hed “Really?”
“Yes. Gosh you’re so annoying.” He muttered.
I grinned happily “So you forgive me?”
He blus-hed as he held my hands “I forgive you but please…”
“Don’t jump into conclusions, I know and I won’t. I promise.” I said as we hu-gged each other.

MONICA’S POV
I barged into my bedroom and slammed the door angrily.
I sat on my bed and hu-gged my knees crying bitterly because of what I saw today.
*FLASHBACK*
I was walking down the hallway looking for China so that we can go home together.
I heard some smooching from Teddy’s bedroom, I checked it and saw a tall black guy as-suming it’s Teddy and some girl with curly hair making out.
Wow, Teddy has really moved on with some cute cheek.
