Clara stared at Pierce’s unconscious body with a triumphant smile on her face, she hid the gun back in her pocket.
” Finally, it was more easier than I thought” she smiled.
” Don’t worry, I’m gonna take good care of Louis, he’s mine from now on” she kicked Pierce’s legs before leaving the house.
Louis arrived at that moment, without giving it any second thought, he rushed inside the house.
He couldn’t believe his eyes when he saw his own Pierce in her own pool of blood. Her clothes is stained badly and her legs are stained with blood.
” Baby, this is a joke, right? This ain’t happening, right? No, wake up, stop lying in there and wake up!” He yelled, his eyes is already red.
Hazel and Drake rushed in at that moment, the shock they felt seeing Pierce on the floor was indescribable.
” We are late” Drake mumbled
Louis carried Pierce in his arms and rushed out of the house.
Luckily, he met an ambulance outside with some Police vans. He glanced at Drake.
” I called them, we don’t even know what might happen” Drake said.
Louis smiled gratefully at him before entering the ambulance with Pierce in his arms.
” I swear it, I’m gonna make that bitc-h pay” Hazel said.
” Where’s the culprit?” A policeman asked.
” Right” Drake quickly went to his car and brou-ght out his laptop.
” She’s not that far from here, we can catch up with her” he said, showing the Police Clara’s location.
” Okay” the police van moved immediately and Drake and Hazel did not hesitate to do that too.

” Baby, please be safe for me. Don’t leave me and Gold please” Louis muttered in tears, he held her hand and rested his head on it.
They’re still inside the ambulance, the nurses are trying their best to stop the blood, gushing out of her body. An oxygen was fixed on Pierce’s nose.
They arrived at the hospital in no time, Pierce was rushed in immediately.
Louis tried to go into the OR with them but they stopped him immediately.
” My wife is in there, I can’t just stay like this” he insisted.
” You just have to calm down, sir. We’ll make sure she’s fine” a nurse said to him.
Louis watched as they entered the OR and sighed de-eply.
” Pumpkin, be fine please” he mumbled un-der his breath.
He just can’t imagine what is going to become of him if he should lose Pierce. He quickly waved the thought off, he’s never going to lose her.

” Can you see her car?” Hazel asked Drake who kept driving rou-ghly, he’s trying to make sure he doesn’t lose Clara.
” Yes, that bit-ch fuc-king know she’s been chased” Drake said.
” She nee-d to be taken to the rehabs, she’s mentally deranged” Hazel muttered.
” I really hope Sierra is fine, you really nee-d to see the look on Louis’s face, I feel for him. He must really love Sierra a lot” Drake said.
” I support you on that. I’m sure he’s gonna kill her when he see her” Hazel said, referring to Clara.
Clara gritted her teeth as she check the rearview mirror, she could see Police van behind her.
” How did they find me?” Was what kept ringing in her mind.
She could hear the siren right at her back, she quickly turned to see them behind her.
” How did they get here so soon?” She panicked.
She lost focus and hit the oncoming vehicle.
” Arghhhh!!!!!!” She screamed as her car somersaulted thrice.
Drake and Haz got down from the car including the officers, just before they could get to her car, it exploded.
Drake quickly pushed Hazel from the way and they both fell to the floor.
” Are you okay?” He asked.
Hazel nodded still staring at the now burning car.
” She killed herself” she mumbled.
” That serves her right” Drake said.
One of the policemen called the fire insurance, they arrived in no time and when Clara’s body was brou-ght out from the car, tears sli-pped out of Hazel’s eyes.
Her body was burnt beyond repair, it’s unrecognizable.
” She,,, she,,” Hazel choked on her tears.
” She doesn’t deserve your tears, Hazel. She almost killed someone too, let’s just hope Sierra is fine” Drake said.

HOURS LATER***
” Aren’t they out yet?” Kingsley asked. Louis called him, he told him about Pierce’s condition and he rushed there immediately.
” I hope everything is fine in there” he added.
He looked at Louis who’s standing, he has refused to sit even when Kingsley told him to.
” She’ll be fine, okay? Everything happened so fast, really can’t believe Clara could do such” Kingsley muttered.
” Have you called her mom?” He asked
” They’re on their way” Louis replied. That was the only word he has said since.
” I wonder how they’re going to take the news”
” Louis!” Elena called. Louis already called her so she came there alone. Mrs. Beckett had to stay at home with Vee and Gold
” Elena” Louis rushed to hu-g her.
” How did this happen?” Elena asked.
” I really don’t know, I found out Clara is trying to destroy Pierce today, I got home only to meet Pierce unconscious” Louis said, he’s trying to control himself from breaking down in tears.
” I’m scared, Elena, I don’t want to lose Pierce” he muttered.
” That’s not going to happen, she’ll be fine” Elena as-sured.
” What about mom? Did she make sure Gold isn’t aware of this?” He asked
” Yes, she’s at home with Vee and Gold. We can’t leave them all by themselves” Elena said and he nodded in agreement.
Mrs. West and her husband rushed in immediately, she went to Louis directly.
” My baby! What happened to her? Who shot her?!” She shouted.
” It’s all my fault, Mom. I shouldn’t have left her behind” Louis bit his lower li-ps suppressing the tears that’s threatening to fall from his eyes.
” Who’s the person behind this? Have the police caught him?” Mr. West asked.
” It’s a she and the police are after her already. I just want Pierce to be fine, that’s all what’s on my mind right now” Louis muttered.
” She’ll be fine, Pierce won’t give up that easily” Elena said.
Louis glanced at the door where Pierce was being operated on before looking away.
” I hope so” he mumbled.

The doctor came out of the OR, he removed the mask and gloves from his hands.
” How’s she?” Louis asked immediately.
The Doctor sighs.
” We tried our best, but we couldn’t save the two. I’m sorry to say but we lost the baby” he said.
Louis’s face dropped immediately. Baby? What baby is he talking about?
” I don’t get you, a baby? She’s not pregnant before” Louis said confused
” I guess you aren’t aware yet, the lady in there was pregnant, but she lost the baby due to the multiple shot she received on her stomach. She had a miscarriage”
Louis staggered back in shock, Kingsley caught him immediately.
Pierce was pregnant and they lost the baby??
Louis hit the wall in frustration and anger, yelling out in anger.
” Louis, take it easy. Let’s be grateful that she’s fine” Elena said.
Louis ru-bbed his face with his hand, he wonder how Pierce will take the news that she lost the baby she wasn’t even aware of.
” fuc-k! I’m going to kill her!” Louis screamed. He started walking out, Kingsley went after him immediately.
” Where are you going Louis?” He asked.
” fuc-king get out of my way, Kingsley” Louis yells.
” Get yourself together, Louis! What do you think you can do in this state of yours?”
” I’m gonna murder someone. That bit-ch fuc-king hurt my wife and killed my unborn baby! Do you think I’m gonna stay still?” Louis shouted, veins popping on his ne-ck. It’s obvious he’s very angry.
” Then do you wanna become a murderer? You wanna be tagged as a murderer, is that it?” Kingsley shouted.
” I don’t give a damn!” Louis yelled back.
” Louis, I un-derstand how you’re feeling right now, but don’t let your anger take the best part of you. Your friend is right, do you want to become a murderer?” Mrs. West asked.
” But Pierce,, she’s….” Louis sniffs.
” I un-derstand, I’m her mom and I’m greatly worried but don’t let us make a rash decision, let the cops do their job” Mrs. West said.
Drake and Hazel appeared, they quickly rushed to Louis when they saw the state he was in.
” Louis, how’s Sierra?” Hazel asked slowly, she’s fearing the worst already.
” She lost our baby” Louis said throu-ghgritted teeth.
Hazel gasped.
” What about her, is she fine?” She asked.
” The doctor haven’t said anything yet. What about Clara, where’s she?” Louis asked.
Hazel look at Drake, she couldn’t bring herself to talk about that gruesome scene
” She died” Drake said.
” Bloody hell! How come?” Kingsley exclaimed.
” She had an accident while running away from the cops, her car exploded” Drake said.
” That serves her right, if it were up to me, I’ll beat her up even in her corpse state” Elena mumbled hatefully.
” How did she escape that easily? She should have at least suffered a bit” Kingsley muttered.
” She should thank her stars I didn’t get a hold of her, I pray she rot in hell” Louis said.
” She paid for her crime, justice is served already. Let’s await Pierce’s condition” Mrs. West said.
The door to the OR opened and four nurses came out with Pierce on a stretcher. They rushed to them immediately.
” Where are you taking her to? Is she fine already?” Mr. West asked impatiently.
” The surgery was a success, we’re moving her to a ward now. Hopefully, she should be awake by tomorrow or two days time” a nurse said and they all breathe out in relief.
” If you’ll excuse us” they took Pierce to a ward.
” Gosh, I feel relieved now” Louis muttered.
” But, there’s a problem you know?” Mr. West asked.
Louis raised his head to look at him.
” How will you break the news to her? She had a miscarriage” Mr. West said.
Louis felt a sharp pain in his heart already, even though he’s trying to be acting okay, de-ep down he’s not. The thought of losing their baby hurts like hell. It was always his wish to be with her when she’s carrying his baby, to shower her love and all his attention. To treat her like his own baby.
How will he even break the news to her? It was surely going to break her, that he’s sure of.
” That’s why I was against you both staying together till you’re married. Look at what you caused!” Mr. West half yells.
” Mister, do you realize if Pierce wasn’t pregnant, she’d have lost her life already? You should be grateful to Louis not the other way round” Elena said, glaring at him.
” Besides, everything was your fault from the beginning, if you hadn’t for-ced Pierce that time, all this wouldn’t have happened!” Elena said.
” Elena” Louis called, trying to caution her.
” She’s right, it’s all my fault and I’m regretting it now” Mr. West mumbled.
Louis faced him.
” Dad, it’s all gone now. Let’s forget about that, this is not the end of the world. We can surely make another baby in the future” Louis muttered.
” Let’s stop this, it’s not gonna benefit us at all” Mrs. West said.
Silence took over the place immediately with everyone one in his/her own thoughts.

THE NEXT DAY, RAINBOW HIGH***
” I’m so worried about Pierce” Eleanor Gr0-ned.
” Same here, it’s so sad she lost her baby” Blake said.
” Pierce won’t be able to take it when she finds out, I know my sister” Rhett said.
” I wish I got hold of that battle-axe before she died, I would have given her a piece of her own cake” Eleanor muttered.
” I really can’t wait for closing hours, I badly wanna see her” Vera pouted.
” We’ll go together when we’re back from school” Rhett said.
” Do you also wanna come along?” Eleanor asked Blake and he shook his head sideways.
” I don’t think it’s a good idea, your family are all gonna be there, I can’t” Blake said.
Jason approached them, Drew isn’t in school.
” Where’s Lily?” He asked Eleanor.
” At the field I think, she excused herself” Eleanor replied him.
” Okay, thanks” Jason winked at Blake before leaving the clas-s.
” I really can’t wait for this break to be over” Eleanor said.

Jason got to the field, the teams that were playing were done with their match and they’re leaving the field already.
He searched the field with his eyes till they landed on Lily who’s sitting alone. He smiled and made a move to go to her, he suddenly stopped when he saw a guy approached her.
He scoffed before walking them.
” Hi, I’m Kyle” the guy introduced himself to Lily.
” I’m Lily” Lily muttered.
The guy stretched his hand towards her with a smile on his face.
Lily accepted his hand slowly, she’s surprised that a guy would ever approached her. She was always alone before.
” By the way, you’re beautiful and I wouldn’t mind being your friend” Kyle said.
” Sorry dude but she’s taken” Jason said from where he is.
Lily quickly look at him, Jason flashed a smile at her before walking to them.
” She’s taken already and I hate when my girl keep a male friend, so buzz off” Jason said, faking a smile at Kyle.
” Oh, I didn’t know” Kyle muttered sadly before taking his leave.
” Why did you do that?” Lily asked, they’re alone now.
” Why are you here alone? Is the clas-s that boring?” Jason asked instead.
” You haven’t answered my question, Jay. Why did you do that?” Lily asked.
Jason smiled.
” You called me Jay, that sounds sweet from you. I can just change my name to Jay, what do you think?” He asked.
Lily rolled her eyes, she stood up and began walking away.
” Lily, wait up!” Jason yelled and ran after her.
” Where are you going?” He asked.
Lily folds her arms on her che-st, staring at him
” I was jealous, okay? I hate it when another guy is around you” Jason muttered.
” Why?” Lily asked.
” You already know the answer, I love you”
” You’ve never noticed me before, why the sudden feelings?” Lily asked. She just want to make sure he’s in love with her before jumping into his arms. God knows how happy she is right now.
” That’s not true, I’ve always noticed you Lily, I was just,,, shy” Jason mumbled, looking away shyly.
Lily was surprised.
” You’ve been crushing on me before?” She asked.
” No, I’ve been in love with you since, I just didn’t know how to approach you since you’re always alone. You know, I don’t want you to ruin my handsome face” he chuckled.
Lily smiled.
” je-rk”
” I know. So, can I make things right now? I don’t want to lose you to any guy, I got scared when I saw you with Drew, he had to as-sure me there’s nothing between the both of you. Lily, I love y….” Lily cuts him off by placing a ki-ss on his cheek.
” I love you too” she smiled.
” Are you serious?” Jason asked and she smiled before nodding.
Jason pulled her to a hu-g, smiling happily.
” I love you, Lily. I do a lot,, be my girlfriend” he muttered.
” I’m your girlfriend already” Lily grinned.
Jason broke the hu-g, he ki-ssed her shortly on the li-ps before hu-gging her again. He’s just so happy right now.

HOSPITAL***
” You should go home and have some rest, you’ve been here since last night” Charlotte said to Louis. They’re still at the hospital awaiting Pierce to regain her consciousness, Arthur is also present too.
” I’m fine. The doctor said she might be awake today, so I want to stay by her” Louis muttered.
” You should do as Charlotte says, we’ll be here to watch over her for you” Arthur said.
Louis smiled gently.
” I appreciate you but I’m fine. I’m not leaving Pierce” Louis muttered.
Pierce opened her eyes weakly, she closed it back as the light from the hospital shone directly at her eye.
She opened it again, she looked around the room and the first thing her eyes caught was Louis beside her. Thank Goodness, at least she isn’t dead.
She thought she’s going to die, even while she was unconscious, she was crying profusely, she couldn’t leave her daughter and the love of her life behind.
” Louis” she whispered weakly.
Louis’s head snapped to her immediately, his eyes shone with happiness seeing her awake.
” Baby, you did it! You did it” he chanted happily, ki-ssing her round on her face.
Pierce smiled weakly.
” Thank you for staying alive for me and Gold, I love you baby. So fuc-king much”
” Thank you for saving me, Louis” Pierce mumbled.
” You should also be thanking Hazel and Drake, they really helped a lot”
Pierce nodded her head, she didn’t have the strength to talk that much
Her eyes went to Charlotte and Arthur who had a sad smile on their li-ps, even though they’re trying their best to hide it, she could still notice it.
” Are you both okay?” She asked.
” I’m just happy you’re awake, bes” Charlotte said.
” Thank you” she faced Arthur.
” Thank you too, and for being there for my friend” she said.
” It’s fine, just focus on recovering” Arthur said.
Pierce nodded before facing Louis. Louis changed his expression immediately she looked at him, Pierce didn’t failed to notice that.
“What’s wrong? Why is your eyes sad?” She asked. Could something be wrong with her?
” I’m not” Louis replied awkwardly. He didn’t even know how to break the news to her.
” Are you lying to me now? Is something wrong with me? Am I dying?” Pierce asked.
” What! I forbid that” Louis said almost immediately.
“Then what? Talk to me Louis, is something wrong with me?”
Louis raised his head to look at Charlotte who nodded her head for him to go on.
He closed his eyes ti-ghtly before opening it back. He took Pierce’s hand in his.
” Baby, you know I love you, right?” He asked and she nodded slowly.
“What’s happening? You’re scaring me Louis” Pierce muttered.
” Er… You were pregnant….”
Pierce interupted him with a small scream.
” Pregnant? I’m going to be a mother again?” She asked smiling happily.
She stopped smiling when she saw Louis’s expression, it looks like he’s going to cry soon. Then the meaning of the word he said dawned to her.
She was pregnant?
” Don’t tell me it’s what I’m thinking, it’s not true, right?” She asked, staring at him intently.
” We can always make another baby, you don’t have to be sad. We have all the time in the world to that, you just have to pull yourself together again”
Pierce burst into tears immediately.
” My baby, he,,” she sobbed.
” I didn’t even get to feel him, I didn’t even knew of his existence. Louis, tell me this is a dream” she faced.
Louis pulled her to a hu-g immediately and she pushed him away rou-ghly, shaking her head vehemently
“I don’t believe you, I don’t. No!!!!” She suddenly screamed.
” Pierce,,” Louis tried to touch her but she slapped his hand away.
She pulled her hair rou-ghly with her eyes wide open.
” That’s not true, no!!! I didn’t lose my baby!!” She screamed.
Charlotte ran to call the doctor, they both returned and the doctor injected Pierce who wouldn’t stop thrashing around in tears.
Immediately she was asleep, he faced Louis.
“I’m sorry to say, but she might end up being traumatized” the doctor said
” Pierce” Louis bent his head with tears sli-pping out of his eyes.
