BECKETT’S HOUSE***
” When are you going home today?” Louis asked Pierce.
They are both in his room. Louis is sitting on the bed, resting his back on the headboard while Pierce is in between his leg with her back on his che-st.
” I don’t know yet” she replied honestly.
” But I don’t wish to go home,, it’s so boring without you” she added.
Louis placed a kizz on her ne-ck.
” You have no choice, Pumpkin. I wouldn’t like it if you get into any trouble”
” Can I ask you a question?” Pierce asked.
” Sure”
” Let just @$$ume you find out I’m engaged to someone because of one business deal, what are you going to do?” She asked.
She was fidgeting silently.
” I’ll stop @$$uming” Louis replied almost immediately with a serious face.
” Say something else” she muttered.
” I will never accept that, Pierce. But I know it’s never gonna happen so I’m not worried” he said smiling.
Pierce bits her li-ps guiltily.
” Yea, it’s never gonna happen” she said somehow nervously.
She just couldn’t detect why she’s suddenly feeling uneasy.
” Are you okay?” Louis asked noticing she wasn’t uncomfortable anymore.
” Seriously, I don’t know”
” Should I get you something chill to drink?” He asked.
” To cool you down” he added.
” Okay, thanks”
He stood up and kizz her softly on the li-ps before going out of the room.
” Pierce, calm down,, nothing is going to happen” She muttered to herself taking de-ep breaths.
Suddenly, the blaring of Louis’s phone filled the room. She picked it up and saw it’s an unknown number.
” Why does this number look familiar?”
” No, no, it can’t be” she @$$ured herself.
Like a slow, she pressed the green bu-tton and placed the phone on her ear.
” Hello” she greeted slowly.
” I was expecting the useless guy to pick the call but it’s fine tho. You are really amazing, do you know that? You have the guts to leave the house without turning back….. I’m really amazed, Pierce” Mr. West chuckles.
” How did you get Louis number?” Pierce asked folding her fists ti-ghtly.
” Should you really be bothered about that? You should be more bothered about your useless boyfriend safety. Come back home right now!” He yelled.
” I won’t let you dictate my life for me, dad. I’m not getting engaged to him!” Pierce screams.
” Since when did you start defiling my words? You should know what I can do Pierce, I won’t hesitate to get rid of anyone that’s an hindrance to my success. I hope you un-derstand what I mean” Mr. West said.
” Don’t do anything to Louis! Fine, I’ll come home, don’t do anything to Louis” Pierce yells. She was already crying.
” That’s my good girl. Come back home right now!” Mr. West yells and hung the call.
” Louis” Pierce cries.
The door opened and Louis entered. She quickly drops the phone and cleaned the tears in her eyes.
” Here” Louis handed a chilled drink to her.
” Thank you” she gulps it down slowly.
” Do you feel better now?” Louis asked.
She replied by nodding her head slowly.
” Why do I feel like you’re hiding something from me?” Louis muttered and sat down beside her on the bed.
” Huh? I’m not”
” Pierce” Louis called and held her both hands.
” I love you” she interrupted.
” I’ll always do. Don’t forget me, okay?” She asked
” What are you saying, Pumpkin? Why are talking like you’re leaving me?” Louis asked. He’s beginning to get scared.
” I love you Louis,, you’re the only one in my heart,, always remember that”
” Pier….” He was about calling but she shuts him off with a kizz.
She hanged her hands around his ne-ck de-epening the kizz at each moment. She’s kizzing him as though that’d be the last time she was ever going to do that.
Louis couldn’t control himself anymore, he placed his arms around her tiny wa-ist and kizzed her more ha-rder.
He tossed her on the bed and came on top as they fed on each other’s li-ps.
They broke the kizz with Pierce breathing heavily. Their li-ps were both swollen already.
” I’m going home now” she said.
” So, is this a goodbye kizz?” Louis asked teasingly.
” I guess so” she replied,, though Louis did not un-derstand what she really meant by that.
” Then let’s make use of now”
In a minute, they’re both kizzing each other again with Louis’s tongue lic-king every corner of her mouth.
His hands crept un-der the hoodie she’s putting on and care-ssed her thi-ghs softly. Pierce in return mo-an softly into his mouth.

” Are you leaving now?” Mrs. Beckett asked Pierce.
She’s already in her clothes. Louis already got that from her and in that minute, she quickly deleted her dad’s number from his phone so he wouldn’t notice it.
” Yes, mom” Pierce replied.
” When should we be expecting you?” Mr. Beckett asked.
” I don’t know yet”
” Okay, make sure you visit before I leave okay or Louis will be the one to bear the punishment” Elena said.
” Huh? Why me?” Louis asked and Pierce chuckled.
” Because you’re the guy here, dummy. Alright sis, I’ll try to visit” Pierce said and Elena smiles at her.
” Alright, be safe” Mrs. Beckett called after her as she and both Louis went out of the house.
” Are you driving me home?” Pierce asked when they both got to Louis’s car.
” Of course. Do you really think I’d leave you to go alone?”
They both entered his car and he drove off.

WEST HOUSE***
Pierce entered the house nervously, her hands is shaking badly.
” Pierce!” Mr. West ran to her p-ulling her into a hu-g.
” My baby! Where have you been? I’ve been worried” and she cries out.
” I’m sorry mom” Pierce muttered.
” Are you okay? Did you get hurt?” Mrs. West asked checking her body for any injuries.
” I’m fine,, you don’t have to worry yourself” Pierce said and her mom sighs in relief.
” Have you break up with him?” Mr. West asked from where he’s sitting.
Pierce turns to look at him.
” No, I haven’t” Pierce replied.
” Why? Mr. Gonzales and his son are visiting in two days time, you nee-d to end things soon” Mr. West said.
” Can’t you just do this for me? I love him, dad. Please don’t do this” Pierce begged.
” Love? You’ll get to love Mr. Gonzales son too with time. Don’t worry, I can @$$ure you of that”
Pierce turns to look at her mom with tears in her eyes but Mrs. West looks away.
” Your phone is with me,, and you aren’t collecting it soon. You’ll always be in your room, locked up I mean. I nee-d to @$$ure you wouldn’t try any stupid thing”
Pierce eyes wide-ned.
” What? That’s ridiculous! I’m not a baby for crying out loud! Why are you doing this to me,, is it a crime to be your daughter? Are you this greedy to this extent of not even caring about my happiness?”
” I won’t let you say another word there,, go to your room now!” Mr. West orders.
Pierce ran to her room in tears.
Without saying any word to her husband, Mrs. West left the living room silently. She’s tired of arguing with him.
He never listens to her.
******
FEW HOURS LATER****
Pierce sat on the chair in her room picking her nails slowly. She’s just confused as to what to do now.
” Louis I’m sorry” she whispers silently.
” I hope you’ll be able to forgive me for this,, I don’t want you to get hurt cos of me,, this is the right thing to do” she said.
She stood up from the bed and knocked on the door loudly.
The door opened and Mr. West entered.
” Are you ready?” He asked.
” Yes, I am. But promise me you won’t harm Louis” she replied staring at him.
” Of course. I have no business with him anyway. Just do what I want and he’s fine” Mr. West said.
” Fine, I’ll break up with him” Mr. West smiles at that.
” Good. That’s it, don’t worry I can @$$ure you that you’ll be in good hands”
He handed her phone over to her.
” Text him” he orders.
With shaking hands, Pierce collected the phone from him.
” LET’S BREAK UP. I’M TIRED OF YOU ALREADY” She sent to Louis.
Almost immediately, a call from Louis came in and she picked it.
” Pumpkin, what’s the meaning of what you sent just now? Is that a joke?” Louis asked.
Pierce stares at her dad before replying him.
” I’m not,,, let’s break up Louis. I’m not interested anymore” she said. She was actually dying inside with the words she’s uttering out.
” That’s a joke right? You can’t do this to me” Louis said. He was beginning to tear up.
” I’m not joking, Louis. I’m done with you”
” You can’t do this to me, Pierce. You said you love me, you promise to be with me forever! You can’t do this to me Pierce!” He’s already crying seriously.
” I’m sorry” she whispers.
” Don’t,, take those words back. You can’t just break up with me this way,, should we meet up?”
” There’s no reason for us meeting up anymore. Let’s end this, Louis,, goodbye” she hung the call and tears fell freely from her eyes.
” I’ve done it,, satisfied?” She stares at her dad angrily.
” You did a good job” Mr. West smiles.
Louis call came on the phone and Mr. West collected the phone from her.
” Seems he’s not giving up soon” he switched off the phone.
” For now, you’ll be locked up in your room and your phone will be with me for sometime. I nee-d to @$$ure you’re not going to try anything stupid”
Pierce stares at him without saying anything.
Mr. West clears his throat before leaving her room not without locking it.
Pierce slumped down to the floor crying loudly. This is just too ha-rd for her.
“Louis, I’m sorry. I’m sorry” she chants as she cried bitterly.

BECKETT’S HOUSE***
” No, she can’t do this to me! She promised to stay with me forever” Louis yells. His eyes was already red as a result of excess crying.
” Pierce!!!” He screams loudly.
Elena rushed to the room in fright.
” Louis! Are you okay?” She asked.
” Elena, she left me. She broke my heart” he cries.
” Who?”
” Pierce. She said she doesn’t want to have anything to do with me again,, she broke up with me”
” That’s not true, right? Pierce can’t do that,, she can’t” Elena said shaking her head.
” She broke me, Elena. She broke me!” He cries.
Elena pulls him to a hu-g, consoling him gently.
” It’s okay,, you should talk to her later, you guys nee-d to settle things” she muttered patting his back softly.
Louis continue crying greatly in pain. The thought of Pierce breaking up with him shattered his heart into pieces.

THE NEXT DAY,, WEST HOUSE***
Mrs. West opened the door to Pierce’s room and entered with a tray.
But, she met a shocking scene. Pierce was lying on the floor unconsciously.
She threw the tray to the floor and rushed to her.
” Pierce! Pierce!!” She called in fright.
