BECKETT’S HOUSE***
” Gold! Vee! You two should stop playing around, come and eat your lunch” Elena yelled from the kitchen.
Gold and Vee rushed to her with smiles on their face.
” Mom, I’m so hungry” Vee pouts ru-b-bing her stomach.
” I am too. I feel like I’m gonna die soon” Gold mumbled.
Elena laughed.
” Really? If I didn’t call you now, you won’t realize you’re hungry, huh? You two won’t be the end of me” she shook her head, laughing.
” But you love us that way” Gold smiled.
” Of course I love you both so much” Elena said.
Elena went to serve the food on the dining, Gold and Vee followed her with any move she’s taking.
” Will you two sit down there and let me serve the food?” Elena muttered obviously frustrated.
Vee and Gold blinked their eyes cutely at her.
” We’re hungry” they chorused, pouting their li-ps.
Elena slapped her forehead in a frustrated way.
” What should I do with the two of you?” She Gr0-ned.
” Give us our food, we’re hungry” Vee said.
” Okay fine, have your seat and I’ll be back soon” she said.
Gold and Vee sat down immediately. Elena sighs before going back to the kitchen. She arrived later and they began eating after she’s finish serving the food. Mrs. Beckett is also present.
” Mom, you’re a great cook. Thumbs up for you” Vee said.
Elena smiled.
” My dad is a great cook too, and my mom” Gold said.
Mrs. Beckett smiled. Of course she couldn’t deny that.
” Really? I’d love to eat their food someday” Vee said.
” Then will you come to our house? Will you?” Gold asked immediately. She just couldn’t wait for Vee to spend sometime with her in her Dad’s house.
” Of course. I can’t wait” Vee said excitedly.
The door bell rings and they stopped eating abruptly.
” Are you expecting someone?” Mrs. Beckett asked Elena.
” No, who could that be?” Elena asked, standing up from the seat.
” No, aunt. I’ll check” Gold said and left immediately
Gold opened the door and crea-sed her brow seeing Clara at the doorstep. Her eyes went to her dressing and she suddenly got irritated.
” Who are you?” She asked, eyeing her.
Clara smiled and bent to her level.
” Oh little kid, you must be Louis’s daughter, right? You’re so cute and you look so much like him” Clara said.
Gold roll her eyes obviously not interested in her talks.
” I just asked you a question, ma’am. Who are you?” She asked.
Clara scoffed
” I’m your Dad’s girlfriend” she said.
Gold laughed.
” That’s not possible. My dad can never be with someone like you. My mom is far prettier than you” she said.
Clara opened her mouth in disbelief. This little kid just insulted her indirectly.
” You should watch your mouth, I won’t take it if you talk to me that way” she warned
” Gold, what’s taking you so long?” Elena asked, coming to the door.
Her face went sour immediately she saw Clara.
” Hi, sis” Clara greeted, smiling.
” What are you doing here?” Elena asked instead.
” At least you should have allowed me to enter, that’s not fair” Clara pouts.
Elena rolls her eyes.
” Fine, you should enter” she said.
Clara entered the house, Gold looked at Elena.
” Who’s she?” She asked.
” Just someone. Your dad’s friend I think” Elena replied. They got to the dining.
” Clara, you’re here. You should join us” Mrs. Beckett when she saw Clara.
Clara smiled. At least she still got his Mom’s love.
” Thank you, Aunt” she said as she sat down.
” Grandma, why’s she here with us? She said she’s my dad’s girlfriend. What about my mom?” Gold blurted out.
Elena looked at Clara.
” As far as I can remember, you and Louis aren’t together anymore. So, why bother introducing yourself as his girlfriend?” She asked.
” I don’t want to break up with him, I love him” Clara said as she sniffs.
” Gold, she’s just your Dad’s friend while your mom is your Dad’s wife. They’re together till eternity, with you and your younger siblings to come” Mrs. Beckett said.
Gold’s eyes lit up.
” Really? Then that’s good cos I don’t want anyone to hurt my mom” Gold said.
Clara bit her nails ha-rdly, just when she thought Mrs. Beckett is on her side, then this?
She glared at Gold hatefully, all this wouldn’t have happened if not because of her.
” Why are you staring at my best friend that way?” Vee asked.
Clara changed her face immediately, faking a smile.
” I just admire her, she’s so cute” she muttered.
” Yea, I got that from my mom and dad” Gold said. She just don’t know why she suddenly dislike her.
Elena laughed. Surely this girl is Louis’s daughter.
” Let’s just eat” Mrs. Beckett said, trying to ease the tension in the house.
Clara served herself, she’s sure her cheeks must be hurting from faking a smile since she arrived.
Her mission her now is to gain Louis’s families love again. If possible get rid of anyone that become an obstacle to her.

LOUIS’S APARTMENT***
” Easy, okay?” Louis laughed as Pierce limped to the parlor.
Pierce turned to glare at him.
” It’s not funny, isn’t this your fault?” She glared.
” If I could recollect, you were also M0-ning fas…”
” Shut up” she half yells, cutting him off.
Louis laughed at her. He quickly carried her when she made to take a move.
” I’m sorry, baby. I’ll be gentle next time, okay?” He said, holding her ti-ght.
Pierce pouts, wrapping her arms around his ne-ck. Louis quickly stole a ki-ss from her and she smiled.
” I love you, baby” he murmured.
” I hate you” she said meaning the opposite.
Louis smiled before placing her on the chair. His hand went to her hair, smoothening it gently.
” Why are you so beautiful?” He asked.
” Why are you so hot and handsome?” She asked.
Louis chuckled before pecking her li-ps.
” I’m going to CJ Entertainment today” he said.
” Why? We don’t have any shoot today or do we?” Pierce asked, trying to remember if they have a shoot today.
” We don’t. I’m going to meet Hazel” he replied.
” I nee-d to know if she’s truly behind what happened yesterday. And if that turns out to be true, I swear I won’t take it easy with her” Louis said seriously.
” Let’s go together” Pierce said after a while.
” Why? I can handle it alone. You don’t have to” he muttered.
” Of course I have to. This is all about me, I nee-d to know why she did that too” she said.
Louis sighs de-eply.
” Okay, let’s go together” he said.
Pierce smiled sweetly at him. Her phone suddenly rings out and she picked it.
” What!” She suddenly shouted, standing up quickly.
Louis stare at her wondering what she just heard for her to have acted that way.
” I’ll be right there now, mom calm down, okay?” She said.
After a while, she ends the call and met Louis’s curious gaze on her.
” My dad, Mom said he fainted and he’s at the hospital now” she told him.
Louis’s eyes wide-ned.
” What? Then what are we waiting for, let’s go” he took his car keys and they both left the house in a rush.

Eleanor smiled and wiped the tears from Blake’s face.
” Do you know you look ugly while crying? Don’t cry anymore, please. I hate it when you’re sad” she mumbled.
Blake smiled.
” I love you” he whispers.
Eleanor gaze at his eyes before looking away shyly.
” C’mon say it back, don’t tell me you’re shy now” he wiggled his brow at her.
Eleanor chuckled.
” Of course I love you too and you know that” she muttered.
She might look happy outside but she’s very sad de-ep inside her. She’s sad for Blake, for his mom and lastly for his sad.
She still find it ha-rd to believe his father actually killed his mom. Yes, she knew Mr. Finnegan to be a strict man but a murderer?
” What are you thinking about?” Blake jolted her back to reality.
” I’m just shocked at what you told me, it’s unbelievable” she muttered.
” Don’t you think there might be a reason for his sudden actions?” She asked.
” There isn’t. Even if there is, that doesn’t justify the reason for him hitting my mom. She’s a woman for Pete’s sake and his wife!!! He killed her! He kil….” He rou-ghed his hair, breathing heavily.
” I don’t want to talk about it, Elle” he mumbled.
” I un-derstand you, baby” she said. She purposely called him that to cheer him up.
Blake stare at her in surprise. Did she just call him a pet name?
” What did you just say now?” He asked.
” I said I un-derstand you” she said, teasing him.
” After that” he muttered.
” Baby?”
Blake smiled happily and engulfed her in his arms.
” You called me baby! I love you, baby. I love you so much” he muttered happily.
Eleanor smiled. Just what she wanted, for him to be happy.
Her phone rings disrupting them. They unlocked from the hu-g and she gasped when she saw it’s Rhett calling her.
” Am I late already?” She asked herself.
With shaking hands, she pressed the green icon ready to be shouted at.
But….
” What! Dad? How come?” She rushed.
” Oh no, I’ll be there now” she quickly stood up, rushing out of the house. Blake ran after her and caught her hand.
” What happen? What did he say?” He asked with concern written all over his face.
” My dad, my dad,,,he” she broke down in tears.
” Shh, it’s fine. Though I don’t know what happened but I’m going with you. I can’t leave you alone in this state” he said.
Eleanor tried to protest but he stood on his ground. They left the house immediately to the hospital.
They got there and they met Pierce and Louis present. Vera and Rhett are there too.
” I warned him! I told him not to the investment” Mrs. West cried.
Eleanor rushed to them.
” What happen to Dad? Why is mom crying?” She asked.
Vera explained what happened to her.
” My goodness” Eleanor covered her mouth in shock.
50 million dollars? That money can make them go bankrupt.
Rhett stared at Blake, wondering why he’s there with Eleanor.
” What are you doing here?” He asked.
” Er… He saw me on my way here, so he offered to drop me here” Eleanor lied.
Blake stares at her in surprise. Why is she lying?
Pierce stood there without saying a word, right now she’s got nothing to say.
” Are you okay?” Louis asked beside her.
She glanced at him.
” I don’t know” she replied honestly.
The doctor came out of the ward and Mrs. West rushed to him.
” How’s my husband doing?” She asked.
” Let’s be grateful that you rushed him here on time because if you arrived late than this, he’d have developed a stro-ke. He fainted out of shock but let’s hope for something better” the doctor said.
Mrs. West broke down in tears.
” This is all his fault, I told him not to pay that money, I told him” she cried.

Everyone stood in the ward watching Mr. West without saying a word, except Mrs. West who sat down on the chair beside him.
” Eonnie, nu gu se yo(Pierce, who’s that?)” She asked, gesturing at Louis.
” Louis, Gold’s Father” Pierce replied.
Mrs. West’s head snapped to their direction immediately.
” Gold’s Father?” She asked and Pierce nodded.
She looked at Louis who suddenly didn’t even know how to react.
” Annyeonghaseyo Eomeonim(Good afternoon, mom)” he bowed his head.
” You guys are together again?” She asked.
” Yes mom, we’re engaged” Pierce showed them the ring on her finger.
Eleanor gasped.
” You’re the King of R0m-nce? Everyone was talking about the proposal at school” she exclaimed, staring at Louis.
” I’m sorry about what the both of you had to go throu-ghin the past, I hope we’re forgiven?” Mrs. West asked.
” Sure mom. It’s all in the past” Louis smiled.
” Thank you and please take care of my daughter for me, don’t hurt her cos she’s gone throu-ghenough already” Mrs. West said.
” I love her mom and I’m never separating from her again” Louis said.
” He’s so cool” Vera said to Rhett.
” I agree with you” Rhett muttered.
Mr. West opened his eyes, he looked around the hospital clearing his throat. Everyone turned their gaze to him.
” Dad!” Eleanor and Rhett rushed to him.
” Tell me, that’s a dream. They didn’t dupe me, right? I’m not here because of that, tell me!” He half yells.
” That’s because you’re so greedy, Mom warned you didn’t she but you chose to ignore her. I really wished they robbed all of your money if that will calmed you down. You almost ruined my life all because of this money and yet you never learnt your lesson” Pierce said.
” No, that’s not true! That’s not true! My money my 50 million dollars!!!” Mr. West shouted.
” I said it didn’t I? Money will be your doom and that’s what is happening now. I’m out of here” Pierce said, going out of the hospital immediately.
” I’ll try and talk to her mom” Louis said and Mrs. West nodded.
She un-derstand what Pierce is going throu-ghnow, she’s sure she’s very hurt now.
” My 50 million dollars! My 50 million dollars!!!!” Mr. West yelled before sli-pping into unconsciousness.
” Doctor! Doctor!” Mrs. West yelled.

” I wonder when Dad is gonna learn his lesson” Rhett said. The doctor came over minutes ago and sedated Mr. West
Eleanor sighs before looking at Blake.
” I’d like to take my leave now” Blake said. They both excused theirself before leaving the ward.
” Make sure you don’t think much about it, okay? I’m sure he’ll be fine” Blake said when they got to his car.
” I’ll try. You too, don’t be sad anymore. Let’s talk better in school tomorrow” She said.
Blake smiled and bent his head, ki-ssing her softly on the li-ps.
” I love you” he said in a muffled tone.
Eleanor responded to the ki-ss for a while before breaking it.
” I love you too” she replied.
Blake hu-gged her briefly before entering the car. He’s still going to ask her why she lied to her brother about him at school tomorrow, because he knew now isn’t the right time for it.

Louis stopped the car just when they arrived home. He glanced at Pierce who’s not saying anything since they left the hospital.
” We’re home” he announced.
” I’ll join you later” she mumbled.
” I know you’re sad, Pumpkin, but just try and let go of the past” Louis said before going out of the car.
” Meet me inside when you’re done sulking” he muttered, going inside the house.
Louis got to the door and met it opened. He’s surprised because hes sure he locked it before they left the house.
” Is Kingsley in?” He wondered, entering the house.
” Clara?” He called to be sure when he saw her in his house, sitting on the chair with her legs on the table.
” Baby!” Clara rushed to hu-g him.
” Baby, I miss you so much” she pouts.
Louis pushed her away from him rou-ghly.
” What do you think you’re doing? How did you entered the house?” He demanded.
” I came to see you, I know your pas-sword, remember?” She smiled.
” That shows you haven’t forgotten about me, you still love me, don’t you?”
Louis Gr0-ned and made a mental note to change his pas-sword later.
” I don’t, stop keeping your hopes high. I’ve moved on from you” Louis said.
Clara stared at his back with a smile on her li-ps.
” Perfect” she smiled. Just what she wanted.
” I know you’ve never forgotten about me baby, I love you too and I’m back for you” she smiled mischievously.
Before he could register what she’s saying, she went closer and crashed her li-ps on his.
The car key from Pierce fell down from her hand, Louis immediately pushed Clara away from him.
He quickly turned to face Pierce, who’s staring at them with a cold expression.
” Baby, it’s not what you think. She’s the one who,,,”
Pierce walked to Clara who has a smile on her face thinking her plan is going well, she slapped her ha-rd on her cheek.
Clara’s hand flew to her cheek immediately, staring at Pierce in shock.
Pierce slapped her on the second cheek immediately before grabbing her hair rou-ghly.
” Don’t you ever try to use your stinking mouth to ki-ss my man again” she warned.
She stretched her hand to Clara’s face, showing her the ring.
” You see this, he proposed to me and that’s because you’re no longer nee-ded anymore. He’s my man and I’m his woman, is that clear?” She shouted.
Pierce shoved her to the floor rou-ghly, Clara stare at her with hatred.
