Vera pushed Rhett away from her, staring at him in shock.

Pierce glare at him.

Louis laughed.

Pierce chuckled.

After she finished eating, Louis carried her to the bathroom and bathed for her.
They both laid on the bed, cuddling each other. Pierce raised her hand, staring at the ring.
” You love it that much?” Louis asked.
” Yes, very much. I still can’t believe it” she muttered.
” You’ve got to now, baby, I can’t afford to lose you again. Let’s build a family together with Gold and our baby inside you” he tou-ched her stomach.
Pierce laughed.
” How are you sure I’m pregnant?”
” I’m hundred percent sure. I promise to be beside you this time around”
” Well then, let me get pregnant first” she smiled.
Louis laid his head on her che-st with Pierce playing with his hair.

” Hmm” he hummed.
” The woman that came to the interview yesterday, she’s the midwife who helped me during Gold’s childbirth” she said.
Louis raised his head to look at her.
” Really?”
She nodded.
” Then why did she acted that way? Could someone be behind it?” Louis muttered.
” That’s exactly my point. I’m suspecting Hazel, she threatened to destroy me once she finds out the secret I’m hiding”
” Why didn’t you tell me this before? Why are you just saying this now?” Louis asked. If it’s truly Hazel that’s behind this, he wasn’t going to forgive her again.
” I’m not yet sure, that’s why. I don’t know what I did to her for her to hate me this much. I haven’t offended anyone ever since I came back to Korea” she said.
Louis sighed.
” Don’t stress yourself, baby. Leave this to me I’ll handle it” he care-ssed her cheeks.
Pierce nodded slowly. Louis smiled and pulled her in a comforting hu-g.
” You don’t have to worry anymore, baby. The only problem we have now is your Dad and I promise to take care of it. Leave everything to me, okay?”
” I love you” Pierce said instead.
” I love you more” he replied with a smile.
Pierce’s phone rings disrupting their moment. Pierce broke the hu-g and picked the call.
” Wow! Wow! Sierra or should I say Pierce? I’ve been working for you for two years now and I don’t know you have a daughter?” Ashley asked.

” I though we’re more than Boss and employee, I thought we’re sisters, but….”

Pierce sighed sadly.

” Ashley, she’s mad at me that I didn’t tell her about Gold earlier” she muttered.
” She’ll come around soon, don’t be sad” he said.
Pierce smiled gently.

” Why’s she smiling that much? She’s even pressing her phone” Arthur wondered, staring at Charlotte.
Since he arrived at the office the morning, he had noticed her mood which was cheerful than ever.
Charlotte suddenly laughed out, her gaze on her phone.
Arthur knew he had had enough, he stood up and went to her. What is she’s saying with a guy for her to be smiling that much?
” Boss” Charlotte stood up.
” Is this what you do? Pressing your phone during working hours?” He demanded.
” Er, I just decided to take a break. I’m sorry, Boss”
” Sorry is not the main deal here. How could you be chatting with a guy when I’m here? You’re even smiling too?” He half yells
” What are you talking about? A guy?” She asked in confusion.
” It’s a guy you’re chatting with now, right? You’re even smiling,, fuc-k this is driving me crazy” he rou-ghed his hair in frustration.
Charlotte stared at him, a smile threatening to burst out of her li-ps.

Arthur wished the ground should swallow him when he saw it’s truly Pierce she’s chatting with.
He itched his hair nervously.
” I’m sorry” he mumbled.
” Perhaps, are you jealous thinking I was talking to a guy?” Charlotte asked.
” What are you talking about? Jealous?”
” Yes, if not you wouldn’t have acted this way”
Her phone rings and she picked it.
” Hi, Desmond” she greeted cheerfully.
Arthur Gr0-ned mentally. How much he hates this Desmond.
” Today? What time? I’ll gladly want to meet up” she said happily.
Arthur snatched the phone from her in anger
” GET THE fuc-k AWAY FROM MY WOMAN, YOU as-s-hole!!!” He cursed and ends the call.
He faced Charlotte in anger, she burst into laughter.
” And you aren’t jealous?” She wiggled a brow at him teasingly.
Arthur slammed her back to the wall, caging her with his hands.

Charlotte swallowed ha-rd at the close proximity.

Charlotte smiled.
” He only invited me to a lunch with his girlfriend today. He wants me to meet her” Charlotte blurted out.
” Then stop smiling when you’re talking to him, it piss me off” Arthur said.
” I can’t just take it when the woman I love talks and smile with another man. I hate it”
Charlotte stares at him with wide eyes.
” You love me?”
” I’m a je-rk, I thought I almost lost you just the way I lost Pierce. I love you, Charlotte. Your craziness drives me crazy, I love everything about you. Don’t push me away please, I don’t think I can take another heartbreak for the second time” he tuck her hair to the back of her ear, his hand resting on her cheek.

” I know you may be wondering about my feelings for Pierce, yesterday made me realize I wasn’t meant for her. Yesterday actually made me knew what I felt for you. I love you, Charlotte. Believe me, I’m not using you as a bait to forget about Pierce” he muttered.

” I love you too, Arthur. I don’t even know how it happened but I find myself falling in love with you. This is my first time feeling this way in my twenty three years on earth. Don’t break me, please” she muttered
” I won’t” he suddenly carried her and roll her around.
Charlotte giggled, holding unto him ti-ghtly.
” You don’t know how happy I am, Charl. I’m glad I finally found love in you” he hu-gged her so ti-ghtly
Charlotte smiled, her arms around him.
” I love you, Charlotte” he whispered
” I love you too” she replied
Arthur broke the hu-g and ki-ssed her, she reciprocated immediately.
He gripped her wai-st ti-ghtly as he ki-ssed her hungrily. She taste exactly like strawberry and he did not feel like stopping any time from now.
After the hot ki-ss, they both stared at each other, smiling as they did so.
