” sir it was just a small minor problem that didn’t require changing the whole engine and so I’ve fixed it” I said and he thanked me. ” just go and pay the money to the lady over there and you’re free to go” I said and he left. my dad always asked me to consider working for a bigger company and that with my degree and talent I’ll make it in no time, but that’s not what I want. I wanna take dad’s business to greater heights.
I turned to Mildred as she waved at the customers. she has been avoiding me ever since we kizzed. ” hi Mimi ” I said and she smiled at me. ” hi Br@ndon” she answered and smiled. ” I’m so sorry for kizzing you without permission the other day, I know you don’t like me and I definitely un-derstand that” I said and she looked shocked then sad.

” Mimi ” I called and she for-ced a smile. ” oh it’s okay thanks for un-derstanding” she said and looked away. I guess she doesn’t want me here anymore,I thought as I walked back to the garage.

Wesley is the schools sweetheart,smart handsome with great personality and he’s nice to everyone well except me of cause. I’ve known him since he was in his third cl@$$of Junior year. he’s not from a rich family and he’s here on scholarship. I’ve loved Wes and he’ll be graduating soon and j just can’t let him go without telling him how I feel . that’s why I pleaded with dad to talk principal into making him my tutor . but he’s so cold towards me,my heart hurts each time he snaps at me. I watched him drink from his water can as he glanced at the math textbook in his hands.
how do I let him know that I have feelings for him ? should I give up on him ?

Things have been so akward between Mr Alexander and I after he kizzed my cheek some days ago. it was just a kizz on the cheek why can’t I stop thinking about it. I scolded myself mentally. ” I’m telling you Loli Emma’s falling de-eply for the boss just look at her ” Lola said squiling and I froze.
” wait…what hey that’s not true” I said and they laughed. ” c’mon girl the guy just pec-ked your cheek and you’ve not been yourself since then” Lola said pouring fresh strawberries in a bowl of yougurt .
” how did you know what ? I asked shocked. ” we weren’t sleeping that we stayed up to save you from the boss’s wrath” Loli chirped in. ” seriously ? I asked as I covered my face shyly.
” oh my Lola , she’s blus-hing I told you she has feelings for him. what happens when you guys do the deed” Loli asked chukiling.

I asked. ” oh c’mon he’s not realized he has a thing for you yet …Mr Alexander doesn’t go around telling his employees goodnight or kizzing their cheeks. you better be careful with your heart around him and also your v card he might end up ” she said and stared at my boo-bs and bum and my eyes wide-ned ” Loli stop it you’re scaring me I’m Mia’s nanny to him and nothing more than that” I said and they laughed.

I asked panicking and they burst out laughing again. ” em calm down we aren’t saying he’ll jump on you like a caveman, we just noticed he’s into you. but he himself doesn’t know yet . hes still stuck with his late wife. we don’t want you to get hurt at the long run ” Lola said and I ru-bbed my forehead. after Erik why the hell am I falling for a man with an even bigger complication ?

I’ve been avoiding Emerson ever since I acted so unprofessional few days ago. I can’t believe I kizzed her cheeks. ever since she came into my life, she’s bringing back those emotions that died with Diana, she’s unknowingly making me feel like I can be happy again with Mia.
but how can I try to be happy without Diana ?
” boss the clients have arrived” Nina said and I gave a nod. I walked into the conference room just to see an old friend of mine from college.
” Dante Romero” I called shocked and he laughed. ” good to see you Alexander north how you doing” he said and gave me a bro hu-g . ” I’m fine it’s been so long almost five years since we last saw each other” he said smiling wi-dely.
” so how’s life ? I asked and he smiled happily. ” never been better man . I moved the company to Africa and business has been awesome. that’s where I met the love of my life adesua we’ve been married for three years now, buh we have a four years old son Calvin. I kinda knocked her up before marriage” he said and the brown skinned lady hit him on the shoulder and I gave them a small smile. they looked so happy and in love. that’s how things were with Diana .
” so hey man how are things with Diana it’s been so long we all hung out together and….” he stopped talking when he realized I suddenly tensed up at the mention of her name. my heart became heavy and my eyes filled with unshed tears . I tried to form a sentence buh just couldn’t.
Dante managed to get the point and he looked hell shocked. ” omg I’m so sorry Alex I had no idea” he panicked. ” I’m so sorry for your loss Mr North ” the lady said giving me a friendly smile. ” it’s huh okay” I said taking a de-ep breath ” I’m so sorry man , you nee-d to pull yourself together let’s have this meeting some other time” he said and still looked guilty for not knowing Diana p@$$ed away. but it’s not his fault, it’s mine that I can’t get over a woman that is never coming back.

I asked and he laughed. ” I was , especially after much pain he caused you. buh IV known that guy ever since he was a kid and he had one messed up childhood. his parents where the worse example of love marriage family and relationships. remember how worse it became when they divorced,his dad moved to Italy with his mistress and his mom married a younger man. I couldn’t sleep last night because I was hunted by the dreams of the day Diana left me. those dreams had stopped for a while I wonder why they’re back with full vengeance. I thought as I wore my trainers to go for a morning jog.
” whoof whoof” I heard the voice of Emma’s dog immediately I came downstairs and he glared at me.
wait is it seriously barking at me in my own mansion ?
doesn’t he have any manners ? doesn’t he know I’m the owner of this mansion he’s staying in? it’s not even one of my employees. ” hey black” I called is name and he gave me looks like are you seriously this stupid ?

wow so even dogs won’t let Alex live in peace in his own mansion ?

” seriously doggie I’m the boss here . I don’t care what your name is, purple violet orange you can answer the rainbow for all I care you better stay in your limits” I said and he barked angrily at me as if giving me a piece of his own mind.
I can’t believe my life has come to a point I now argue with dogs .
” good morning Alexander, good morning blue ” papa philli-pe said joining us. and my mouth fell wide open. ” blue so that’s his name” I said to myself and blue gave me looks like. ” that’s ma name idiot” this dog is my mortal enemy from this day upward. the battle line has been drawn. as if reading my mind blue glared at me.
