**CHAPTER FIVE**

Princess Lillie stood and left the empress room with unlimited happiness
“There mustn’t be anyone prettier than me here ,she’s going down for that, and for talking shabbily to me, she’s so dead, I’ll personally cut off her head” she thought
” But…. Eleven, how the hell did the wound get healed?, How did it get…. healed?” She thought ha-rd
She head to his room and opened the door without knocking
“Knocking before entering a room is one of the manners a human should learn,but unfortunately you have no manners” Eleven said
But instead of answering, she walked briskly to him and before the twi-nkle of an eye, she pu-ll-ed up his robe…
“What are you….
She stared at his ba-re belly in shock
Not even a trace of wound
“Tell me, what happened?, How did the wound get healed?, No one has ever survived a stab from my sword” Lillie said surprisingly
” So you’re sad that I survived” Eleven said, pu-lling down his robe
” I’m…I just… how did it…
” You don’t expect me to tell you everything, leave” Eleven said, turning his back on her
Lillie sighed
” If only you know what’ll befall that wench tonight” she thought and smiled wickedly before leaving
She met Eragon just by the door and her heart skipped a beat just like it used to do anytime she sees him
Eragon made to enter Eleven’s room but she pu-ll-ed him by the arm
Eragon gave her a questioning look and she quic-kly let go of him
He went in
She sighed before leaving
“Where were you since last night!” Eragon asked immediately he got in
” You forgot your manners like Yesterday, how rude” Eleven said jokingly but he’s not using a joking tone so it’s ha-rd to know he’s joking
“Oh! Mianhamnida (I’m sorry) , good morning prince” Eragon said, bowing
Eleven managed to smile but Eragon never saw it
“I just went for a stroll in the forest” he replied
“Without telling me as your protector?, What do you want people to say if anything happens to you in the forest?, That I’m not capable?” Eragon said
” Nothing will happen to me” Eleven replied simply,his mind allover Iris
” And about the stroll, I know what exactly you went in search of, the girl isn’t it?” He said
Eleven only sighed
” You really love her that de-eply to go in search of her at night?,a one hour journey?, Oh Eleven” Eragon said
” StĀ©p being overprotective” Eleven said
“I’m not, I just…
“It’s ok, I want to be alone, plea-se” Eleven said
Eragon bowed
” Yes prince, see you later in the day, rest well, a one hour journey and another one hour while coming, ma-king two hours… hmm, it’s not so easy” Eragon said before leaving
” Iris” his heart rang sadly
He still can’t un-derstand why she suddenly hates him

Diamond woke up to a bright morning and seems happy, at least more than yesterday
She jumped off her be-d and did the morning necessities which includes bathing before going downstairs
Kingston is in the living room alre-ady, taking the usual pill he takes
She waited for him to swallow it before talking.
“Is that really working?, I mean your real Ide…
” Of course, it works, let’s not talk about it, morning” Kingston replied
” May God forgive your intrusive spirit” Diamond said
“Amen” Kingston replied and Diamond giggled
” You’re a pain” Kingston said, using hisl-ips balm
“I can’t help it, and that’s because I love you so much” she said, hvgging him from behind
“I love you too” he replied
“Oppa, I really want to see you have a girlfriend, maybe if you have a girlfriend, Hazel will stĀ©p disturbing your peace” she said
” Me?, Girlfriend?, Not now” he replied curtly
“Oppa jebbal (plea-se)”
“Invalid” he replied
” You always say that, I hate you” Diamond said
” I know you mean the opposite, see ya later” he said and left after stro-king her hair as usual
“How boring” she muttered
Her phone rang, it’s a video call from Cole
She picked and it connected, revea-ling Cole and Isla
“Will you get your flat as-s out of that house and come to school right now?, The clas-s is starting soon” Isla said
” We have a clas-s today?” She asked surprisingly
“oh my, are you even still a student?, Mr opium’s clas-s” Isla said
Cole only giggled
” My God!, I must not miss it!, I’ll be there in ten minutes!” Diamond said
” Should I give you a pe-ck?” Cole said
“Take yourl-ips off my screen!” Diamond snapped and disconnected
She ran upstairs….

Iris wandered around the forest in search of fruits to eat, it’s evening alre-ady
She only found guava and wild oranges but she’s sick and tired of it
She stayed un-der the apple tree as Andromeda’s words rang in her ear
“I can’t eat it” she thought, stumping her foot on the ground
“But I want to” she thought, looking at the fruits, tempting….
“eat it, don’t eat it, eat it, don’t eat it” the two p@rts of her mind fought with each other
” Let’s try it out, I’ve kept all his rules, it’s not bad if I try out this one is it?” She thought
She made to climb the tree but she sli-pped and fell
“Ouch!” She whimpered as her palm peeled but it healed immediately
“Good, let’s try it again” she thought and started climbing allover but she fell again
“It’s not ha-rd for me to climb the trees I’ve climbe-d, why is it now different?” She thought
She climbe-d it again, clinging to it defiantly this time around
She successfully climbe-d it and smiled to herself
She ate as much as she wanted and climbe-d down
She felt something different about her
“Will my powers really not work today?, Well it doesn’t matter, since I have no one to fight with” she thought, walking grudgingly back to the cave

” Prince!” Eragon called that evening as Eleven sle-pt like someone who won’t wake up again on his be-d
“Eleven!” Eragon called again but no answer c@mĀ£, he’s not even shaking
“He doesn’t sleep like this in the evenings” Eragon thought,
” What could be the cause? ”

“How was it?” Lillie asked Dan the maid who bowed in front of her
“I added it to his drinking water, he should be asleep for twenty four hours so he’s not waking up till tomorrow night” Dan replied.
Lillie smiled
” Good” she said
She turned to the guard beside her
“Summon all the palace guards and the human hunters, we’re getting a lowlife tonight” she ordered

Night****
Iris sle-pt peacefully in the cave though she’s weak
She has been weak since she ate the apples, too weak to even stand up
“Wait a minute?, My powers Won’t be working for a day, equivalent to twenty four hours, so that’s till tomorrow evening…oh Iris you’re so daft, I’m so so weak, too weak to lift a f!nger” she thought…
She suddenly heard movements inside the cave and managed to open her eyes…
The movements bec@mĀ£ heavier and she nee-ds no one to tell her that some people are here
She didn’t even smell them
“I must have really lost it” she thought, her eyes is even too drowsy to see them
“Here we are you wench, capture her!” A familiar voice said as she felt something like net, wra-pping her up…
**CHAPTER SIX**
Iris just found her eyes closing voluntarily as she’s being taken away
She sle-pt off and never woke up till the second day when a bowl of water was poured on her
She woke up to find herself in a room
She c@mĀ£ face to face with the person she hates most in this world
Lillie!
“So it’s you” iris said, squee-zing herl-ips
“So what?, You’re dying today anyways so just say your last prayers” Lillie said, scowling
Iris giggled
” How funny?, I’m dying?, I guess you mean you cos death is never for me” Iris said and made to just command a sword to come and that’s when she remembered she’s not having back her powers till the evening…
She relented
“What?, Wanna fight it?, How lame, take her out” Lillie ordered as the guards rushed in and rou-gh handled her, taking her out as she kept kicking the air stubbornly
“Let me go!” She kept shouting
She was placed down beside the stake and her heart skipped a beat when she saw human heads hanged on a tree right beside it
“What. What’s this, are they selling heads here?” She quivered
Lillie smiled wickedly
” Yes, and your head will be for sale very soon too” Lillie replied and sl@pped her
She held her face ti-ght, folding her fist in an anger she can’t express…
Eragon c@mĀ£ by and saw the scene
His eyes wi-de-ned
“That’s the br@t” he thought…
” Oh,now I un-derstand, Eleven was sed@tĀ£d cos he’d be an hindrance” he thought
“she hadn’t done anything wrong, why will Lillie want her dead?”
” Oh I forgot you don’t even nee-d to do something wrong before she draws her sword, that devilish br@t” Eragon thought and rushed to the Queen’s chamber
He bowed in front of her
“Yes?” Aurora said, looking at him questioningly
“That br@t, Iris is about to be killed by Lillie” he said impatiently
” Yes?, So she’s not supposed to be killed, for saying trash about the throne?” Aurora said
” I’m not saying that empress, she deserves a h0t death and I feel like killing her right now but think about Eleven, he loves the girl” Eragon said
” The more reason why she should be killed” Aurora replied, looking away
” It’s not true,if you kill her and Eleven wakes up to find her head hanged, he won’t forgive you for life and won’t be able to move on, it’ll be so ha-rd for him, I know him more than anyone” Eragon replied
Aurora sighed
” And if you by any chance give him a bride, he won’t listen to you, when you killed his first love how is he supposed to marry anyone you choose, the best option is for you to sĀ£nd Iris out of Meteor City and when Eleven wakes up, no one will tell him what happened, no one in the city knows she was brou-ght here cos she was brou-ght at night, so he’ll as-sume she’s gone just like she c@mĀ£, he’ll get over her fas-ter that way….I know I’m not In the place to give suggestions my empress, but I’m just saying my mind” Eragon said carefully
” You’re quiet right” Aurora replied and stood, she went out
” I’m sorry Iris, this is the only way to escape death, you have to leave this city” Eragon said to himself

“I wish I didn’t eat the apple, I want to kill her but it’s impossible without my powers” Iris thought as she’s placed on tĀ©p of the stake
She closed her eyes, expecting the worse but still hoping for help
Eleven is the Prince, where’s he at a time like this?, And Andromeda?, He should have re-ad the sign of the heavens right now and Know that I’m in danger… I’m so daft” she thought fearfully
Lillie took out her sword from its sheath and exhaled ha-rd
She moved closer to the stake and raised up her hand to behead her ..
“You can’t” empress voice rang throu-gh the place
Lillie’s hand hanged in the air as she looked back at her mum
“Wae eomma? (Why mum?)” She asked, surprised
“I’ll tell you the reason later, three guards should take her out of the city gate, she’s banished instead” empress replied
” Mum! ”
” It’s my order!, She’s banished! ” Empress replied
” Banished?, I’m leaving this place?” Iris thought , opening her eyes as strong hands gr@bbĀ£d her, she was heaped to the shoulder of one of the guards and taken out of the place
“eomma!!!” Lillie ranted angrily, angry that she didn’t get to kill her
“you know nothing and it’s annoying” empress replied and went in
Lillie stumped her foot on the ground as she returned her sword into the sheath
She sharply looked back and her eyes caught Eragon’s eye
She looked at him for a while before walking in
“I did it” Eragon said , smiling….
The three guards took the back city route to avoid being seen by anyone, they got to the big city gate and opened it after a lot of stress
Iris was pushed out of Meteor and she found herself falling as if from on tĀ©p of a mountain
“Noooo!!!!!!!” She shouted as she kept falling….
For over twenty minutes, she kept falling, she almost pas-sed out but she suddenly fell on something soft, she opened her eyes and her eyes wi-de-ned
She’s in a room
Beautiful!
“Is this another city?” She asked herself
She actually landed on the be-d
” It’s soft” she said, pressing it with her hands
She smiled happily and got off the be-d
She walked round the room and sighed
“Where am I?” She asked herself
She saw a mirror and ran to stay in front of it
Her eyes wi-de-ned
She has a different face now, different but still beautiful!, Very pretty as before
“Why did my face change?” She asked herself, tou-ching it
” It’s ok, so far it’s pretty” she said and smiled
She saw a makeup kit and opened it
“What’s this?” She asked herself, holding up al-ipstick
She opened it
“Whoa!, Is this eatable?” She asked herself and took a bite of thel-ipstick but she spit it out Immediately
“Oh bad!” She said, ma-king sour faces
She took the powder too and her instincts told her it must be for the face
She ru-bbe-d some powder and marvelled at it
“It made my face glow, how cool!”
“And my hair!, It’s not as long as before but I like it like that, long hair can be problematic” she said and entered the bathroom
” Oh, where’s this place?” She thought, looking around
She sli-pped and almost fell but she steadied herself and balanced but her hand mistakenly tĀ©uƧhed the shower bu-tton, turning it on
Water c@mĀ£ out of the shower and she jumped up
“Oh God!, It’s cool, I love rains, but why is it raining in only this room?” She asked herself
She stayed un-der the shower for over an hour, enjoying the coldness
She c@mĀ£ out dripping we-t and started feeling cold
“Gosh!, What do I do?” She asked herself
Her eyes caught the laundry basket and she went there
She luckily saw a go-wn and took it out…
“Not as long as what I’m wearing” she said and threw it down, it flew to the other end of the room
She took a shi-t and it’s not her taste
A jean..she threw it away
A bu-mshort, she threw it away too
She ban-ged her fist on the wardrobe in frustration
It opened and she c@mĀ£ face to face with too many clothes
She smiled at her new found
She digged into the wardrobe , scattering all the clothes she doesn’t like round the room
She later found a long go-wn at the base of the wardrobe
She changed into it and jumped on the be-d
“I should sleep a bit, I’m so tired” she thought and drift to sleep…

Eleven woke up to see Eragon beside him
He sat up
“It’s still evening, did I even sleep for an hour?” He said
Eragon rolled eyes at him
” It’s still evening but evening of another day, you’ve been slee-ping since yesterday evening” he replied and Eleven’s eyes wi-de-ned, he spranged up
” You aren’t for real, I can’t possibly sleep for so long” he said
” Well you did” Eragon replied simply
” Am I sick?” He asked himself
“I think so, I’ll call the palace doctor” Eragon said
” No nee-d!, I’m good, I nee-d to go somewhere” he said, heading out
” You nee-d to take your bath first’ Eragon said
He looked back at him
“I don’t want to” he replied
He rushed out of the palace that evening,not able to wait till night
He went into the forest in search of her
Eragon c@mĀ£ out of his room and c@mĀ£ face to face with Aurora
He bowed
Aurora left
“I’m sorry Eleven” he said to himself…
Eleven literally ran to the cave but met emptiness
“Iris!, Iris!” He called round the place
“Is she still angry with me for nothing?” He asked himself
“Ok Iris!, I promise this won’t take long, just come out and let me see your face at least will you?” He said, close to tears
Someone entered the cave…
Andromeda
He actually really re-ad the sign of the heavens and he knows Iris did it
He’s not surprised cos he knows it’ll happen
He’s also a seer who can see the future, he knows Iris is bound to disobey and land in the hands of Aurora and Lillie.. and get sĀ£nt to earth to meet…..
“Where’s Iris?” Eleven asked
“She left for where she belongs alre-ady” Andromeda replied, hitting his stick on the ground as he stood
*What do you mean by that?” Eleven asked
” I mean, you can’t see her for now, she’s off to somewhere else” Andromeda replied
” What!” Eleven said
“So just forget about her and wait for your fate, you both aren’t meant for each other” Andromeda said flatly
” I love her” Eleven replied sincerely
“I know, destiny said it alre-ady that you’re meant to fall in love with her and she’s meant to fall for another… when the time comes, you’ll meet your match, good luck” Andromeda said and started going out
Eleven ran and stood in front of him
“plea-se, can you just tell me where she is?, plea-se!” He pleaded desperately
Andromeda placed his hand on his shoulder
“Destiny has it that you’ll still Know where she is, but not from me” he said and patted him
” Be good” he said before leaving
Eleven watched till he’s out of sight and sprawled on the ground
“Iris, no you can’t leave like that sure, you can’t…I love you so much” he lamented bitterly, tears coming out of his eyes…

Evening***
Iris woke up and felt refreshed and strong
“I can feel my powers are back, it feels so good!” She said and stretched herself on the be-d
” I’m so hungry” she said
Then almost immediately, her eyes caught an orange on the be-dstand
“Oh” she took it and without peeling it, she started eating it…
Meanwhile downstairs****
Diamond’s driver drove her into the compound just at the same time Kingston is entering the compound
She c@mĀ£ out of the car and he did too
“You’re fast today, wow!* Diamond said, holding his right hand,he’s holding his l@ptĀ©p with his left hand
“Yes, I nee-d to rest” he replied as they both entered
“You nee-d to rest but you’re with a l@ptĀ©p, you’ll rest in front of the l@ptĀ©p right?, Ignoring me as usual, that l@ptĀ©p gets more attention than I do” Iris replied and snatched it from him
” No, it contains a transaction I must finish in ten minutes time, Diamond!” He shouted as she climbe-d upstairs with the l@ptĀ©p
He ran after her
Diamond opened the door to her room and if it’s possible by now, her eyes would have popped out at the sight
Her room is not different from a garbage van…
And the most shocking p@rt…
A girl is sitting on the be-d, eating unpeeled orange, she stood dead by the door, staring at the not funny scene
“Diamond I nee-d to….
Kingston was cut short when he saw the scene too…
“Holy hell, like what the hell” he muttered
Iris looked up from the be-d she’s sitting on
She flashed them a cute smile and took a bite of her unpeeled orange
“Hey handsome,….hi pretty,…. how may I help you?”
” What!”
