Michael just smiled. The time has come to take them back to where it all started..
“I just hope you don’t hate me..I did it for your own good” Michael smiled and sighed.
“So Jojo,, what do you think?” Michael asked.
“Well I’ve always dreamed of going to America especially New York” Valentina smiled.
“Guess that’s a yes. Go prepare your things, we’re leaving tomorrow morning” Michael.
“Really? Gosh… Yay!!!” Pearl exclaimed happily.
“Alright, Pearl come let’s go!” Valentina said.
She nodded and Michael placed her down before she left with Valentina.

DENMARK, PALACE**
“You?” He said, staring intently at her. Honestly, he never thought he’ll see her back.
“So sorry your highness… I was talking a quick video but then I didn’t see you so I bumped into you. Oh please don’t banish me…please your highness!” Charlotte said in a rush.
Kaden just stared at her and suddenly chuckled.
“Banish? Who does that because someone bumped in the person” He asked.
Charlotte finally released the breath she was holding. She bent down and picked her phone which fell, luckily it was still functional.
“Thanks..sorry once more your highness” Charlotte curtsied and left to join her group.
The rest just stared at her leave. Some wanted to be in her place like crazily.. It’s not with everyone that the king talks to.
“Your majesty..we have some people who came for excursion waiting for you” His advisor said.
“Alright, let’s go” Kaden nodded and they walked away.

IRIS’S APARTMENT**
“Wow, so you live here? Nice..” Xander said entering with Iris.
“Yeah” Iris replied and fell on the couch tiredly.
“It’s only your first day here and you’re this tired..C’mon” Xander chuckled.
Iris just ignored him, closing her eyes. Xander looked at the time and sighed.
“I wished I could stay longer but I have something urgent to do now.. See you tomorrow in school” Xander waved and made to leave.
“One sec..” Iris said, making him stop. Xander slowly turned to her, waiting for her to speak.
“Gavin… Did you see him?” Iris asked.
Xander turned back to her and smiled before nodding.
“Yes” He said.
Iris sat up immediately with an anxious look on her face.
“Well I saw him few months ago but sadly, he refused to talk to me. He’s still super angry about what happened yunno.. Well what I know is that he’s somewhere here in this hu-ge city” Xander said
Iris sighed and nodded.
“Alright bye!” Xander waved and left.
Iris sat back on the couch. Right now, she doesn’t know what to feel..should she feel angry or sad or happy.
She has alot of questions to ask Gavin once they’ll meet. Questions like ‘why did he abandon her?’ ‘Did he move on with his life?’…
She sighed in confusion and stood up, going into to the bathroom to refresh her Br@in.

“People are eagerly waiting for the grand concert where Ga-X will reveal his identity… Just look!” Bianca showed him a post of her phone.
“Wow, nice.. Can’t wait for Sunday” Gavin smiled, settling the guitar on himself.
Well Ga-X is non other than him. He’s been performing solos but anonymously, everyone is so much eager to find out his real identity and on Sunday, that is in two days time he’ll show it off to the whole world.
“Can’t wait to see Iris,, hope she won’t be too mad at me for leaving her.” Gavin said and Bianca’s face suddenly dulled down.
Well Gavin promised to come back to his family once he musy have achieved something in and here is the time.. He plans on traveling back to his country on Monday..
Gavin looked at his ne-cklace and kizzed it before he began playing his guitar with his eyes closed.
Bianca just stared at him for a while. She placed her hand on his shoulder and made to talk when.
“Who’s ready to party!! Let’s shake things up son!!!” Caleb exclaimed, entering with two bottles of champagne.
“C-K” Gavin smiled and kept his guitar aside, going to meet him.
Caleb poured out the drink in two gl@$$es and handed one to Caleb who gladly took it. They clinked their gl@$$es together..
“I’m so happy for you.. My baby is gonna become a star in few days” Caleb ruffled his hair.
“Stop that… Thanks” Gavin winked, drinking from his gl@$$.
“Can’t wait to see Iris” Gavin smiled.
“Oh, the princess of those stone heart of yours.. Can’t wait to see this famous Iris too, the girl who was able to make you resist all other girls for three good years” Caleb said.
“Meaning..?” Gavin furrowed his brows.
“I’m coming with you dummy!!” Caleb said.
“That will be so nice” Gavin smiled.
Bianca just stared at Gavin and Caleb with a smile on her li-ps..

MORNING, GERMANY**
“Are you all ready?” Michael asked once he finished loading the car.
“We are!” Pearl replied while Valentina nodded.
They all got into the car and drove off.
“Bye bye sweet house” Pearl waved at their house.
She faced front and hu-gged Valentina who was sitting beside her. The drive was so noisy with a kid a like Pearl in the car, how wouldn’t it be?
They all got into the plane and then started their journey to New York. The p@$$engers of the plane stared a lot at Valentina’s burnt face so she covered her head with a scarf.

“Thanks” Valentina said to the hostess who helped them with their luggage.
“Wow. So this is how New York looks like…so cool!!!” Pearl gushed, starring at the people walking p@$$them.
“Let’s go, the taxi has arrived” Michael held Valentina’s hand while Valentina held Pearl.
They all walked to where the taxi was packed. The driver helped them upload all their things in the car before they entered the car.
“To Mr Ricardo Thornton mansion” Michael said. The driver nodded and drove off.

RICARDO’S MANSION**
Ricardo shot down the various targets placed for him without any difficulties. He smiled as he kept back the gun before walking into the house.
He took the towel and began wiping off the sweat off his shirtless body as he walked to his room. The maids couldn’t help but drool at his upper body.
A sm-irk formed on his li-ps when he thought of something..
“Think it’s high time I take back Myles” Ricardo thought thinking of which proof to use against Evelyn.
“Boss, the bodyguard you called upon has arrived.” A maid said.
“Alright” Ricardo said and headed to the living room.
Upon arriving there, he met three person. A little girl was amongst them, starring at every single thing with wide eyes.
“This place is so beautiful!!” Pearl gushed.
She stopped when she saw a man with a towel hanging on his shoulder.
“Mom..who is he?” Pearl pointed at him.
Valentina and Michael turned and faced him and for the span of second, Valentina’s heart ached but stopped.
“What was that?” Valentina brou-ght her hand to her che-st.
“Good morning Sir” Michael said with a smile.
“Thanks good morning. Michael Seville I suppose” Ricardo said and dipped his hands in his pocket.
“Yes, this is…Jocelyn McKay and Pearl McKay,, my friend and her daughter” Michael gestured.
Valentina just nodded, still staring at him with a suspicious look on her face..
“Wow! Mom,, we’ve seen him on TV!!” Pearl suddenly exclaimed bringing Valentina back to reality
“Pearl…” Valentina called.
“This big mouth..” Valentina said inwardly.

Valentina smiled when she was done cleaning Ricardo’s room. She smiled as she looked around.
“This job is actually easier than that of a bartender” Valentina said inwardly.
Her eyes caught the picture on the wall and she walked to it, staring at it.
“What actually happened to her” Valentina wondered.
Her head suddenly hurt like crazily. So much that she held onto the wall for support.
Images of her kizzing someone, they cuddling together, kizzing and laughing together.
She slowly opened her eyes when the pains subdued, confusion marred her face.
“Who’s he? What just happened?” Valentina asked out loud.
The door to Ricardo’s room immediately opened. That brou-ght Valentina out of her thoughts as she immediately took all the equipment she came with.
Ricardo paused when he saw her picking her things quickly.
“Good afternoon Sir” She bowed and made to walk p@$$him.
“I hope you didn’t take anything that doesn’t belong to you.” Ricardo said with a straight look on his face.
Valentina paused and slowly turned to him with a puzzled look on her face.
“What do you mean Sir? Are you insinuating I’m a thief?” Valentina asked.
“Who knows, you might do anything for your daughter” Ricardo shrugged and walked in.
“Me?! A thief?! I admit that I have to ensure a better future for my daughter but at least I’m not that desperate to steal from you!! Who do you think you are?! Just because you’re rich doesn’t give you the right to trample on other’s dignity” Valentina snapped.
Ricardo just snubbed her and began unbu-ttoning his shirt.
“I wanna have my bath,, get out!!” Ricardo said, removing his shirt.
Valentina folded her fists ti-ghtly as she frowned de-eply.
“Maybe that’s why your wife left you…” Valentina blurted out and turned to leave.
Ricardo grabbed her by the hand and slammed her back really harsh on the wall fuming really ha-rd.
“Don’t you dare talk carelessly about my wife.. You’re nothing compared to her” Ricardo growled angrily.
Valentina just stared at his face for a while. Her gaze landed on his li-ps and then his jawline, then his che-st with a beautiful tattoo on it. He was really perfectly built.
Valentina closed her eyes and pushed him away, rushing out of his room. Ricardo rested his head on the wall.
She just reminded her of how him and Valentina usually quarrel when they first met and honestly that hurts so bad..

Valentina sat on the floor in the kitchen as she rested her head on the wall.
“I seriously nee-d to control this temper of mine” She said inwardly.
Her mind drifted to how his shirtless looks like and how the cold look on his face added more to his hotness!
“Stop that!!” Valentina yelled to herself.
She looked at her reflection throu-ghthe window and she slowly tou-ched her burnt face.
“Will I ever find love? Who will love this ugly me?” Valentina said and sighed.
“Jocelyn?” A maid called, making her turn.
“Yes” Valentina answered, standing up from the floor.
“I nee-d to buy some things from the supermarket. Can you help me out?” She said.
“Oh..sure” Valentina replied and smiled.
They both walked out of the kitchen..

“Repeat what I thought you” Minnie said with a stick in her hand. She pointed at the letter on a board.
“A…B…C…F…G…uh, H?” Pearl said.
“Good but you actually forgot letter ‘D’, anyways that is super good for a kid of your age. You’re quite intelligent” Minnie smiled.
Pearl just smiled cutely. She sp-otted Ricardo coming downstairs while fixing his shirt.
“Dad.. Just look how bright Pearl is” Minnie said.
Ricardo looked at Minnie and Pearl and smiled shortly before heading to the exit.
“Why are you always frowning Sir?” Pearl asked innocently.
Ricardo looked at Pearl and sighed. Her and mother are really the same. Nuisance!
“You can always tell me Sir. I can help” Pearl smiled cutely.
Ricardo ached his brows, staring at her. Is she really a kid or what?
“Okay” Ricardo muttered and made to leave again.
“Uncle Cardo!!”
Ricardo turned to see it was Jordan with Kristina. He Gr0-ned loudly…here comes the king of nuisance.
“Uncle, who is she?” Jordan asked, looking at Pearl.
“She is Pearl” Pearl smiled.
“Pearl? You don’t look like your name?” Jordan frowned.
“Jordan!” Kristina and Minnie snapped.
Pearl frowned de-eply as she pouted.
“Fish head!” Pearl snapped.
Ricardo smiled, seeing her pissed off face. She really looks like Valentina when angry.

SUPERMARKET**
“Just look at how fresh these strawberries are?” Valentina smiled, lic-king her li-ps.
“Looks like you love strawberries a lot,, just the Master’s wife”
“His wife? How was she?” Valentina asked.
“Well her name is Valentina, well she was a no nonsense woman but at the same time kind and funny too. She treated the twins like her own kids and showed them love that even their birth mom never did. She was simple, always treated us well and also loved the master really much, and he did too” She narrated.
“That must really be nice, wish I met her” Valentina smiled.
Suddenly, gunshots w£te heard and a deafening alarm began ringing really loud.
“Everyone down!!” A masked man yelled.
Those present in the supermarket began running round in panic and fear. It was a robbery.
“We said down!!” A Lady’s voice said and shot down one of those running around.
That’s when the others knew they meant business. They immediately dropped down to the floor with their hands on their head.
“Get down Jocelyn” The maid with Valentina pulled her down, Valentina looked at her and it was obvious that she was really scared. Even her body was trembling.
Valentina looked at the armed men who walked in. She saw them taking money from the counter while a woman watched from behind with her hands crossed..
“So heartless..” Valentina spatted hatefully but unfortunately, the lady heard it.
She turned and looked at Valentina then slowly began approaching her with a smile playing on her painted li-ps.
“Heartless? Of course we are..” She said and smiled then the next thing, she slapped Valentina really ha-rd.
The others began feeling pity for Valentina for they knew she will be dead in the next minutes.
Valentina swept her hair backwards and glared at the masked woman..
“Uuu…you wanna bite me? I’m so scared” The masked woman said and laughed at Valentina.
That only infuriated Valentina even more. Without thinking, she lifted her hands and made to slap the lady but she caught it midway.
The other men who came with her immediately pointed their guns at Valentina but they stopped when the masked woman raised their hand.
“Don’t.. I wanna have some fun before killing her” She smiled.
Valentina slowly stood from the ground and cracked her ne-ck on both sides before bulging her fists.
“Let’s have some fun” The masked woman smiled and got ready too..
Valentina immediately threw a punch at her but she easily dodged it. The masked woman immediately lifted her leg and landed a kick on Valentina’s face, making her fall.
Valentina spit out blood from her mouth and hissed. She stood up again and launched back at the woman.
They continued fighting fiercely with the woman giving few punches at Valentina, same as Valentina.
Both of them were loosing their energy but none of them wanted to back down.
The woman made to hit Valentina but she caught her hand and twisted it before kneeing her stomach.
With a swift movement, she tackled the masked woman making her fall on the floor, she took the gun on her placed her foot firmly on her hands, trapping her on the floor.
“I guess you’re their leader. Hand back the money right away and leave before I blow off yourfu-cking Br@in” Valentina said, aiming the gun at her.
The others also aimed their gun at Valentina all at once.
“Shoot me if you want but I won’t die alone” Valentina said fearlessly.
“Don’t shoot!!” The masked woman said, wincing in pains.
The men slowly dropped their gun down.
“Now give back all what you’ve taken!”
The immediately obeyed Valentina without hesitating..

“Like seriously Jojo, you were so awesome! Where did you seriously learn how to fight?!” The maid hyped.
Valentina simply smiled..
“Michael taught me” She smiled.
“You mean the hottie who came with you and your daughter? You’re so lucky!!”
“Too bad they got away”
“Mommy!!” Pearl ran to Valentina and hu-gged her ti-ghtly.
“Thank God nothing happened to you mommy” Pearl said, fighting back her tears..
“What’s wrong baby girl?” Valentina said worriedly.
“She saw the news of you beating up and armed woman. It’s trending all over the net” Minnie replied.
Valentina looked up at her and felt her heart race..

“fuc-k!!!” Evelyn ranted as she barged into her room
She threw the mask she was wearing on the bed in anger.
“Who’s that woman and how dares she humiliate this way??” Evelyn ranted in anger.
“Ma’am, this letter was delivered earlier to”
“Shut up!!” Evelyn shot her down immediately. She dropped down dead.
“Who’s she??” Evelyn breathed angrily, her che-st rising and falling..
