“Here’s the file you asked me to print out sir” Valentina placed it on his table.
Ricardo simply nodded with a frown on his face. He had his eyes glued on the screen of his l@ptĀ©p.
Valentina looked at him, wondering why his face is like that?
“Come here” Ricardo said.
Valentina furrowed her brows and walked then stood beside him.
“Take a look at this” Ricardo pointed at his computer.
“What do you see”
“Well that’s the drone created by R-B corporation, it’s amongst the best selling in the market” Valentina replied.
“That’s our design, I hope you know that R-B corporation is our rival. For some reasons, they have been stealing our design then they create and re-lease it ma-king them look like they are the one who did it.” Ricardo frowned.
“That’s bad, that will make Thornton investment look like a cheap fraud if we produce the same tool.” Valentina said.
“Yeah, there’s a spy in this company. We have to find the person soonest but who could it be?” Ricardo said and leaned on his chair.
“I have no idea about that. Don’t worry boss, I’ll try my best to find him or her” Valentina said determinedly.
Ricardo simply nodded. Valentina curtsied and walked out of his office. She slumped on her chair and sighed. R-B corporation is Ryan’s company, so she’s working for the rival company of her bĀ©yfriĀ£nd…
“What do I do?” Valentina thought for a way to catch that spy.

TWILIGHT HIGH**
Iris and Charlotte walked in the lunch room and went to buy their lunch. Someone wra-pped her hand round Charlotte’s shoulder.
“Kimberly?” Charlotte smiled.
“It’s not fair, ever since morning that Iris c@mĀ£ you have forgotten about your best friend” The girl called Kimberly pouted.
“I’m sorry Kim, the principal asked me to be her guide for today” Charlotte said.
“It’s okay, was just teasing you. You’re Iris right? I love your personality, so much my type especially the factory resetting sl@p that you gave to Riley” Kimberly said.
“I’m glad you love my personality” Iris smiled.
It got to their turn and they placed their orders then went to sit down on an empty table.
“So tell me more about your former school” Kimberly asked, sipping from her milkshake.
“Well, it’s a school I’ll advice no one to go there… The stu…”
She was cut short when someone covered her eyes from behind.
“Who’s this?” Iris muttered and almost immediately, the person re-moved his hand.
“Luca?! You’re a student of this school?!” Iris exclaimed.
“Yeah, your clas-smate too.” Luca said and c@mĀ£ to sit beside them.
“You know Luca?” Charlotte asked.
“Yeah, he knocked me down but also saved me I think it was last three days” Iris said.
“Wow, I thought you were a dummy now I know your blind. Knocking down Iris, seriously” Charlotte rolled her eyes.
“If I’m blind then you’re a complete moron” Luca said and took two of her chicken wings then went away
“Hey?! Give me back that!” Charlotte screamed.
Kimberly simply shook her head.
“Why don’t you just confess to him?” Kimberly said.
“Hey!! I alre-ady told you, I don’t like him!” Charlotte said…
“Oh…so Charlotte likes Luca, Nice” Iris smiled.
“Are you two even listening to me?!”
Iris and Kimberly laughed loudly….
“I can see it throu-gh your eyes, you like him. You heart screams his name… Youl-ips yearns for his” Kimberly laughed.
“So which couple name should we give to them?” Iris asked.
“What of Lulotte or Loca yeah I know…Lucalotte” Kimberly said and nodded.
“You two!” Charlotte said, obviously blu-shing.
Iris laughed, it feels so good to be welcome to a school with two cheerful persons like Charlotte and Kimberly.

R-B CORPORATION**
Valentina got down the cab and looked at R-B corporation. She was on her 30 minutes break.
She walked to the entrance and since the receptionist knows her, they simply let her in.
“Poor girl” The receptionist said, feeling pity for her.
Valentina took the elevator which to took her to the floor where the CEO’s office was. She walked to his door and knocked on it.
At first, she was hearing some slight sound but it suddenly stĀ©pped.
“Come in” He said.
Valentina opened the door and walked in. Ryan held a look of surprise on his face when he saw Valentina.
“What… What are you doing here?” Ryan asked in surprise.
Valentina scoffed loudly, what kind of question is that?
“So i nee-d a permission before coming to see my bĀ©yfriĀ£nd” Valentina said and took a step closer.
“I’m sorry, I’m just really busy…mmm” Ryan said and re-lease a soft gr0@nat the end.
“What’s happening Ryan, I don’t un-derstand you any longer. Ever since oir last d@tĀ£ you haven’t been calling like you use to do, you haven’t yet come to pick me up like you use to, you have come to visit my parents like you use to.” Valentina frowned and stood akimbo.
“Like I said, I’m really busy” Ryan said, sweating a little.
“Busy stealing people’s ideas” Valentina said in her mind.
“plea-se I have some really important things to do now. Can you drop by my house tomorrow, we’ll sort things out plea-se?” Ryan said.
Valentina looked at him for a while. He’s definitely hiding something from her.
“Okay, tomorrow by 7pm” Valentina said.
“Thanks babe, I love you” Ryan smiled.
“Love you more” Valentina said and walked out of his office.
Ryan pressed a bu-tton and his office door locked. He pushed his table away and looked down.
“She almost caught us, can’t you be calming down?” Ryan said.
Earlier, she su-cked on his di-ck that’s why he gro-an ed.
“I don’t care, why are you still lying to her. Tell her that I’m your girlfriend” His Secretary frowned.
“I will but I have to know how to tell her babe. Don’t get angry plea-se?” Ryan lifted her up ma-king her sit on his l@ps.
He k!$$Ā£d her fiercely. A m0@n escaped herl-ips when she felt him slid into her.

Valentina looked around to see if someone was following her. She secretly sneaked info the company’s manufacturing sector.
Valentina slowly walked looking around, she could see various technology which were been produced.
Just at her right, a computer was standing nearby. A picture of a robot could be seen there.
Valentina walked to the computer and looked at it. She brou-ght out her phone and took a picture of it.
She then looked around to see if no one was coming before sitting down on the chair in front of it.
She typed some things on it, which deleted the whole algorithm…
“Done” She smiled and stood up.
“I’m sorry I had to do this Ryan. I love you so much but I’m against fraud, what you are doing isn’t right” Valentina thought.
She stood up once she was done and turned to leave, immediately she stepped a foot out of the room.
“Hey, what are you doing here!!” Valentina froze.

TWILIGHT HIGH**
“Today was really fun” Kimberly smiled.
Their clas-ses were over and right now, they were going back home. A black shiny limousine stĀ©pped in front of them.
“Looks like my driver is here. Really wanted to spend more time with you guys” Kimberly sighed.
“Your driver?” Iris asked.
“Yeah, what do you expect from the president’s daughter” Charlotte said.
“You’re what?!” Iris exclaimed.
“Yeah, the president’s daughter. Though it’s kinda boring to me, wish I was a normal girl” Kimberly sighed.
A guy suddenly walked pas-s them. He entered the car and sat down then brou-ght out his phone and began manipulating it.
“Who’s he?” Iris asked.
“My brother Gavin, he’s so annoying” Kimberly sighed and waved at them then entered the car.
“Let’s go, I want to know where you live” Charlotte held her hand and they began walking while chatting and laughing.
“So what does your father do?” Charlotte asked.
“I’ve never seen my father, mom said he died when I was a baby. It’s my sister Valentina who support and binds our family together.” Iris smiled.
“That must be tough. Well mine, my father… It’s another story, I don’t wanna talk about him” Charlotte sighed
“Okay, but just know that family I everything” Iris said.
Iris squinted her eyes when something flashed at the corner of her eyes. Like someone took a picture of them.
She looked at the direction and saw no one. That’s weird….

“Hey!! What are doing here!” A man sair behind her.
Valentina bit herl-ips and slowly turned to face the man. From the dressing we can see he was a security guard.
“Well was looking for the way out and i found myself here” Valentina said..
“Are you sure?.” He asked.
“What?! Are you insinuating I’m a liar!! Do you know who I am? I am the CEO’s girlfriend” Valentina crossed her hand on her che-st.
“Oh, I had no idea. I’m sorry, plea-se let me show you the way out.” The man said apologetically.
Valentina scoffed and walked out. The security guard showed her the way out.
“Have a nice day miss” He said while Valentina walked away.
Valentina hailed a cab and entered. She took a hvge sigh of relief and then brou-ght out her phone…
She looked at the pictures she took and crea-sed her brows.
“To Thornton Investment” Valentina said. The thirty minutes were over but it was worth it…
She got down the cab and rushed in. She took the elevator which took her to the first floor.
Valentina went to his office and knocked on it…
“Come in”
She opened and walked in then stĀ©pped in front of his table.
“Boss…”
“You’re fired” Ricardo said, scribbling things out on a paper.
“Boss, I have a reason for coming late” Valentina tried to explain.
Ricardo looked up at her, signalling her to go on. Valentina quic-kly brou-ght out her phone and showed him the ph0to.
“This is the design of our next technology. The robot which can cook” Ricardo furrowed his brows.
“I thought as much, I was at R-B Corporation. I took the picture from there, I think that will be their next project.” Valentina said.
“We have to create and re-lease that robot before them” Ricardo thought and made a phone.
“Jace? Start the android operation. Begin the procedure” Ricardo said and hung up.
“What were you doing there?” Ricardo asked suspiciously. Maybe she’s the spy.
“Well… The CEO of the company, Ryan Browns is non other than my bĀ©yfriĀ£nd” Valentina muttered and looked down.
“Your bĀ©yfriĀ£nd? What are you doing here as a mere Secretary when your bĀ©yfriĀ£ndis CEO” Ricardo blurted out.
That was followed by a moment of silence. Ricardo cleared his throat and looked elsewhere
“I’m sorry, was just surprised” He said.
“So I’m not fired?” Valentina asked and Ricardo simply nodded. She smiled and bowed then left to her office.
Valentina sat down on her seat, de-ep in thoughts. Ryan’s behavior is really getting her worried and also it kinda breaks her heart that he stooped so low as to steal from his rival…
All these just gave her serious migraines. Valentina ru-bbe-d her temples and then placed her head on the table, slowly dozing off…

THE WHITE HOUSE**
Well that’s Kimberly’s house. Her, her parents with her two older brothers live there.
“And done!!” Kimberly exclaimed once she was done with her as-signment. She stood up and walked out of her spacious room.
The maids all bowed to her as she headed to Gavin’s room. Without knocking, she walked in…
Gavin was busy pressing his phone, surely chatting with one of his numerous girlfriends…
Kimberly frowned and then jumped on him, snatching his phone from him.
“Hey give that back!” He said.
Kimberly rushed to the other side of the room and scrolled throu-gh his chats.
“Ugh!! Don’t tell me you’re now d@t!ngthis Riley?!” Kimberly frowned when she saw he was chatting with Riley.
“No, eww!! She keeps stalking and flir-ting with me. What should I do?” Gavin shrugged and snatched his phone from her.
“Thank goodness… You have no idea how I hate her” Kimberly pouted.
“I’m not interested in listening to you boring life so just leave” Gavin said.
“Nope, let’s go to movie night!” Kimberly said.
“I’m not interested, now can you pl…” Kimberly snatched his phone back and rushed out of his room.
“You’ll only get it back if you follow me dummy” Kimberly stuck out her ton-gue and went away.
“Kim!!!”

THORNTON INVESTMENT**
Ricardo parked his things and walked out of his office.
“Lock my office door and go…” Ricardo frowned when he saw Valentina snoring lightly on her desk.
Ricardo pinched his brows and walked to her. He opened his mouth to speak but closed it back. Now that he thinks about it, he has completely forgotten her name.
He picked up a bottle of water on her desk and emptied it on her head…
“Ahh!!!” Valentina screamed due to the coldness of the water.
She looked at Ricardo for a good while before getting back to her s-en-ses.
“Hey are you fvĀ¢king normal?!” Valentina blurted out. She quic-kly closed her mouth when she realized to who she said.
“I’m so…”
“10% of your salary will be cut off.” Ricardo said.
“Hey that’s not fair!” Valentina frowned…
“Lock my door and leave! Each time you say something off another 10% off…” Ricardo said, heading to the exit…
“So arrogant” Valentina mumbled…
“Another 10% off your salary” Ricardo said.
“You…!”
“It looks like you don’t nee-d your salary, that’s why you’re still talking” Ricardo cut her off.
Valentina kept quiet, obviously red in anger.
“Good, you’re less dumb when you’re mute” Ricardo sm-irked and entered the elevator. How fun it is to piss her off…
“I hate him!!!!!!” Valentina screamed. 20% of her salary, her precious money.
“You kinda provoked it” Her subconscious mind said.
Valentina sighed and locked his door then left. She was not feeling quite well in the first place.
Valentina took the can which took her home. She entered the house with a pale expression.
“Good morning mom” Valentina yawned.
Iris who was sitting next to Peggy looked at Valentina with weird looks.
“It’s 9pm” Peggy said.
“Oh, oops… I’m just so tired” Valentina said and went upstairs.
She re-moved her shoes and tossed it off then la-id down on the be-d. Earlier she was planning to pack her things once she gets back home but right now….
Iris and Peggy finished dressing the table. Iris went to call Valentina.
She entered and met Valentina slee-ping, still in her work dress.
“Tina?” Iris tapped Valentina and g@sped when she felt her temperature. It was so damn high!
Iris rushes out to inform Peggy. Peggy c@mĀ£ upstairs with the first aid kit.
“Tina, gosh! You have fever… You must have stressed yourself a lot lately” Peggy said covering her with the duvet.
“It’s just fever mom” Valentina yawned. She alre-ady took some drugs that will bring down the temperature.
Peggy made sure Valentina was okay before going back downstairs to join Iris.

MORNING, RICARDO’S MANSION**
As usual, Ricardo was alre-ady dressed for work looking as handsome as always.
He picked up his suitcase when his phone beeped. He opened the message to see it was from his Secretary.
“Her name is Valentina?” He thought while re-ading the message.
š Good morning boss, it’s your Secretary Valentina Williams. Just to inform you that I won’t be able to make it to work today, I have a high fever. Really sorry about that. Have a nice day bossš
Ricardo kept back his phone and left. A smile crept up hisl-ips when he remembered her face yesterday when he emptied the bottle of water on her head.
The smile quic-kly disappeared when Evelyn c@mĀ£ up in his head.
“Daddy!!” Myles and Minnie hvgged Ricardo.
“How’s my twin darling doing” Ricardo smiled and knelt down in front of them.
“I’m good and pretty as usual” Minnie smiled
“I’m cool and cute as always” Myles smiled too.
“Just wanted to remind you that tomorrow is take your kids to work day” Minnie said and Myles nodded.
“Oh, is that so? Okay, tomorrow we’ll go to work together” Ricardo smiled.
“Really? I can’t wait. Yay!!!!” They rejoiced.
Ricardo chuckled.
“Alright, time to go to school” Ricardo said.
“Bye daddy!” They waved and left…

THE WILLIAMS**
Valentina sle-pt till noon before she woke up. She yawned and smiled, feeling much better.
“Bloody sh*t!!!!?” Valentina screamed. She completely forgot she had work today.
Valentina spranged up from be-d and began undressing like a mad woman.
“Calm down Tina, I asked Iris to use your phone and sĀ£nd a message to your boss” Peggy said, entering to check up on her.
“Thank heavens” Valentina breathed out.
Peggy chuckled and left.
“Your sandwich and bacon is the kitchen” Peggy said.
Valentina went to take her bath before going downstairs.

“Maybe he fired her. Good for her!” She thought and knocked on the door.

Fiona opened the door and went in. Immediately Ricardo saw her, he re-leased a sigh…
