Adam went to the back of the school and sat silent, the invisible guardian join him
“How many more days did I have left?” He asked
“13, you don’t have to wait till then, you can tell her now,” his guardian replied

“I see, so what did you do? Did you date her boyfriend?” He asked
“Eww no way, I only case a serious problem at home besides am 15 and my mom said no dating until I turn 18,” she replied showing a disgusting face
“So what did you do then?” He asked calmly
“I saw mom add something into dad’s food then I thought it was something special so I asked if I could have a part of the meal but both my sis and mom said no, dad gets suspicious and asked what was in the meal, mom left the table and went upstairs and next thing I know they were fighting then Dad pushed her off the stairs, she landed In a coma for days and my sister said it’s my fault and it’s true! If I didn’t ask for part of dad’s meal none of it would have happened, that’s how I became my sister’s enemy,” she said, her head hanging low
“That’s sad, I un-derstand the feeling,” he said, remembering all the things he pa-ss throu-ghat the hands of his father
“I bet you don’t,” she replied
“I do, I was once like you just that mine was different, I have this virus that makes everyone distance themselves from me, I always get beaten by my father and all my family members hated me so much except for one,” he said blinking back tears
“Who is this person?” She slowly looked up and asked
“My brother, his name is River, but too bad an accident happen and he died,” he replied, cleaning the tears from his eyes
“Am so sorry, that’s pitiful,” she muttered
“I know right? A mysterious guy told me that he’s still alive but he will not recognize me until I have se-x with a girl,” he added
“That’s weird, you’re being silly right now?” She pulled a face

“I will be your tutor but you will have to pay a dollar bill each day,” she replied

“Don’t worry am a good teacher, it will only take a few days once you follow my instruction so are you in or out,” she replied, her chin held high
“Fine deal, when are we starting?” He asked
“Come to my place tomorrow at 6:30, here is my address,” she replied and gave him a card
“Alright, thanks,” he said, his face brightened immediately
“You’re welcome, see you,” she replied and left
“This is gonna be fun,” he thought
“I think it will be trouble,” the invisible man replied
“I told you to stop getting into my head, must you know everything I’m thinking about?” He snapped
“Just doing what am best at” the invisible guardian replied
“I don’t like it and what did you mean by trouble?” He asked
“You said I should stop getting into your head so I will allow you,” the invisible guardian replied

THE BROWN HOUSE*
Mrs. Brown Went into Karan’s room to see her playing her piano and drinking something
“Baby, what are you drinking?” she asked softly, staring at the bottle she hide un-der her clothes

She went over and grabbed the bottle
“Vodka, are you trying to get yourself killed? Oh my Goodness, Karan!” Mrs. Brown called, her mouth wide open
“Am sorry mom,” she said with tears pricking in the Conner of her eyes
“did you think drinking can solve a problem?” She asked
“Am sorry,” she said gently with trembling li-ps as her hands wouldn’t stop shaking
She has that guilty look on her face and it’s obvious that she was scared, who knows! She might be grounded for a year
Though her mother is playful but also strict, she has rules that guide the house
“Come here,” Mrs. Brown said, seeing how pitiful she looks, she closer and hug-ged her ti-ghtly
“Promise me you’ll never drink again, drinking is not good especially vodka, oh baby, did you want to kill me before my time?” Mrs. Brown said
“Am sorry mom, I promise, and please don’t tell Dad,” she replied, with a guilty look
“I won’t but no drinking in my house,” Mrs. Brown said
“Pinky promise,” she replied
“How about you sing me a song, what did you think?” Mrs. Brown asked
“Sure, there is this song I wrote when you were still in a coma, I wanted to come over and sing it for you but since you’re here now let’s do it,” she said and went over to her piano
“It’s not an original song though but I changed so many things cos I put my soul in it,” she added
“Show me what you have got,” Mrs. Brown replied with a big smile
She cleared her throat and start

“Good for you, we have a show performance and I was sent to inform you,” Davi said
“Why didn’t anybody tell me besides it’s past 7 pm,” she said rolling her eyes
“It came all of a sudden, so get ready,” Davi replied
“Sure,” she replied and went into the bathroom
Devi texted Ben immediately “ALL DONE, SHES COMING”
Not long after she came out all dressed up
“Where to?” Mrs. Brown asked
“Sorry mom, it’s an emergency,” she replied
“Alright, don’t stay there till 10 pm cos I will be waiting,” she replied
“Bye Mrs. Brown,” Devi shouted
“Gosh, I hate that girl,” Olivia said with a frown, if only glare could kill I bet Devi will be dead by now
“You hate everybody,” Mrs Brown said

Karen and Devil was walking down the street when she bumped into an old woman, she quickly apologize and help the woman up before walking away
“It’s her, I found her!” The woman laughed
“This is the beginning of the end,” The old lady said and follow them…..
