“Mom”!!” Karan shouted and covered her mouth, her eyes nearly popping out from their socket
Others freeze in shock
“Scarlet,” Mr fake Brown called with his eyes wide open
“What have you done?” Eddy asked staring at him
“You killed her? You killed mom,” Olivia added
Mr. Brown stared at Mrs. Brown as she lay lifelessly on the ground without moving
He took a few steps down and the children runs towards the door, Karan hold her sibling’s hands as they keep shifting back
Getting to the door they opened it and rushed out, before Karan could make her way outside he caught her and dragged her back inside
“Help, somebody help,” Eddy shouted running down the street
Just then the cops arrived
“He killed her….he killed mom and now he’s going to kill Karan,” Eddy said breathing heavily
“Who killed who?” A cop asked
“Dad, he killed mom,” he added
Another car arrived at their house and many cops rushed into the house, they saw Karan tied beside her mother but there was no sign of Mr. Brown
They carried Mrs. Brown into the ambulance while the children followed the cops to the station

MUMBA VILLAGE*
The queen ran as fast as she could trying to get away from her angry sister, an ice wall suddenly appear in her front making her stop
“It’s the end of the line,” her sister said
“You can’t kill me, am your sister and you’re goddess right?” she said smiling
“That’s the mean reason why I will kill you,” the goddess replied
The queen summoned her black magic and black smoke appeared, she pointed her hands toward the goddess, the smoke went to her but couldn’t cross the flame of fire around her
“You’re no match for me sister, am blessedly the heavens and you’re nothing, I can order the moon and sun and they will obey my voice but you can’t do that, now tell me who is powerless?” The goddess said
The queen tried her dark magic again but nothing happened
“Powerless witch with a powerless magic,” the goddess said and pointed a finger at her
The queen’s feet left the ground and she was hanged in mid-air, the goddess added two fingers and the queen started struggling to breathe
She was strangling her, blood came running down her eyes nose, and ears as she continues to strangle her
A heavy wind blew the queen away from her, she looked around to see two of her kind approaching them
“You need to stop,” one of them said
“This village will burn down, this is not who you’re? You’re going to kill innocent people,” the second person said
“What did you know about innocent? They beat and torture my boy every day like he was a nobody, everyone in this village will pay the price,” She replied
“We can’t let you do this, you’re not supposed to kill anyone, it’s better you stop now before it’s too late,” another person said
“Try stopping me,” she replied
They tried knocking her down with their power but she was way too powerful, Elliott who can control air tried to get past her but the flame around her didn’t let them get to her
“She’s too powerful what should we do?” The first person asked
“We should just return to heaven,” the other person replied
“No, this village is on fire and by the time we will go and come back she will kill everyone,” the first person said
They were still trying to pa-ss throu-ghthe lightening around her
“So what did you suggest?” The second person asked
“The boy, her heart is broken cos of him and only him will make it right now,” the first person replied
They left there immediately and went over to Adam, She turned back to her sister
“You wanted this, now you will have it,” she said, the tears in her eyes didn’t stop flowing like a running water
The villager was running for their life cos all the roof in the village is already on fire
She pointed her hand toward the queen and Many fireballs went to her
“No… No… You can’t kill me… Am your sister,” the queen said as her body catch fire
“No… You can’t kill me,” the queen shouted as her body started to melt
“In your next life, don’t mess with anybody’s child cos you don’t know what it takes to have a child,” the goddess said
“This is the beginning of the end,” the Queen yelled before her body melted away
“Mother,” Adam called from behind
She slowly turned around and face him, he took a few steps towards her as the fire around her begin to fade, and her eyes returned to normal
She stretched out her hand to touch him but he disappeared, that’s when she discovered that she has been tricked
Turns out it was an illusion, they create it to distract her
“No ooooh,” she yelled loudly as her eyes shine brightly again
One of the ma-ssagers strick immediately making her collap-se
“It’s done,” the first person said
“Now what?” The second person asked
“Go with the boy, I will take her back, from now henceforth you will be his gardens till he’s free from the curse,” the first person replied
“It disappeared, he can never have it again…..”
“He will, she has a greater power which means anything she says must happen, it’s roaming around a girl with a broken heart, you must find her as soon as possible and the only way to return it to him is throu-ghintimacy,” the first place replied flying up
“But what if…..”
“No what if, he’s now your responsibility so don’t fail, you have 19 days before his mother regains consciousness and if he’s not free by then I can’t tell what will happen but it’s gonna be bad” he cut in
“What about these people?” The second person asked
“Don’t worry about them, by the time they will wake up tomorrow everything will be like a dream,” he added and disappeared with her
Elliott looked at Adam and carried him away

“Hey, how are you?” A woman asked a boy who was seating on a chair looking around
“How should I be?” The boy asked staring at her
“I mean, am Diana what’s your name?” The woman asked
“Name? What’s my name?” The boy asked
A man walked into the room just then
“Did he tell you anything?” He asked
“He doesn’t even know his name,” she replied
“So what should we do now? I searched for him on the web but I didn’t see anyone that looks like him,” the man replied
“Maybe we should keep him for some time, he’s cute and he doesn’t look harmful,” the woman replied
“I don’t think this is a good idea,” then said
“It’s a very good idea, we can just adopt him cos I love him already please please,” she added
The man who looks like her husband was silent for a while
“Fine, what’s his name?” He asked
“Maybe we should go with Lew’s or swift, or Andrew, or Trent, or Williams……”
“I think that Lew’s is good,” the man cut in
“I wanna go to the ocean,” River suddenly said
“Oh Honey, it’s already late, we will go there tomorrow okay?” The woman said
“I want to go there now,” he replied
Both couples exchange glances
“Take me to the ocean now, please I wanna go,” he pleaded

Hospital*
Karan and her siblings were still waiting when a doctor walk up to them
“Is any of you up to 18 and above,” the doctor asked
“Am 18,” Karan replied
“Alright, come with me,” the doctor said and she followed immediately
Getting to the office he asked her to sit down and she did
“There were big complications and we were able to save her but unfortunately she’s in a coma,” the doctor said
“What’s that supposed to mean?” She asked
“Your mother is in a coma and we don’t know when she will wake up,” the doctor replied
“Mom,” she mumbled slowly
“Are you alright?” The doctor asked
“Yeah am fine,” she replied and walked out of his office
She met her siblings by the door
“What happened?” Eddy asked staring at her
“Karan, what happened?” Olivia added when she didn’t say anything
She was silent
“Are you happy now?” She turns to Olivia
Taking them by surprise
“What do you mean? Is mom dead?” Olivia asked with fear
“I asked a question?” She said
“Karan you’re scaring me,” Eddy said
“Olivia I said, are you happy now? mom is finally away and you will have to do what you want. Huh? Are you happy that she’s laying down there unconscious all because of your big mouth? Huh?” She shouted
“I didn’t do anything,” Olivia replied gently
“It’s all your fault, you can’t control your big mouth for just one minute, one minute Olivia, now how am I going to take care of you two? Huh?” She asked
“Am sorry, I thought mom put something in Dad’s food,” Olivia apologize
“Since when did you become a detective? huh? Now look what you cause, it’s only a sleeping pill cos she was having a double mind about that monster, she only wanted to seduct him and take his blood sample before the cops arrive,” she said
“I thought…..”
“You should be happy cos this is what you have always wanted, freedom! Now you can do anything you want with your life cos I don’t care anymore, and from today henceforth never call my name or say a word to me again if not you will see the other side of me,” she added and grabbed Eddy’s hand
“Karan, please am sorry,” Olivia said running after her
“You should go find your father cos you two will be good together, and also tell him that am changing my name to Karan Walker, am 18 now and I can do what I want, his not my father anymore,” she said and left
“Karan, Don’t you think you’re making a mistake?” Eddy asked looking back at Olivia
“The mistake has already been made so accept it, once we get home pack your things cos we are leaving,” she replied
