Oh no! no!! leave me alone!!! leave me you monster somebody help me!!!
Adaoma screamed and woke up very terrified, her husband who has gone to ease himself at that time came running back to the room calling his wife’s name.
Are you okay my love, what is wrong? I heard you from the bathroom.
I was pan-ting heavily as balls of sweat gathered all over my face, I tried to speak but as I opened my mouth to talk no words was coming out, I was only able to speak inaudibly then I motioned to my husband to on the light and he did immediately, it just seems as if something disappeared from our matrimonial bed, I screamed Jesus and hug-ged my husband so tight in fear and he calmed me me down.
Gradually, I managed to relax, he asked me to tell him about my dreams, I tried to hesitate because I was still very much scared about what I encountered in the underworld but he told me that he has got my back and no harm will come on me.
After much words of encouragement and pleas, I told my husband about it all, he was very shocked and asked me why I have not told him all about it since it began 4months ago?
I told him that at first I thought it was nothing and one of those dream things and sometimes also when I woke up after the dreams if I tried to recall what actually happened I won’t remember anything. It always gets blurred and I can’t really place my finger at anything that happened at that point in the dream world.
The last time I tried to tell you about it all one thing or the other will just come up and it will skip my mind. I was in tears now.
I am very confused and so scared because I don’t know what is happening to me again, I am afraid for my baby I think her life is at risk as well, I said holding my stomach as tears gosh down my face.
My husband held me to his chest and stroke my hair at the same time cleaning my sweaty body…. Is okay my darling, please be strong for your baby and for yourself for there’s no problems with out solution so chill, we will definitely find solutions to this problem. I will make enquires about this tomorrow and gather information on how to get the solutions… Don’t be scared every thing will be alright.
Are you sure? I asked my husband who was speaking with so much courage and certainty.
He smiled at me and nodded his head. Then encouraged me to sleep… I stopped him from putting off the light so I won’t start imaging things although he hates sleeping with the lights on but he obliged just to make sure I am comfortable.
Honestly throu-ghout that night, I didn’t catch a wimp of sleep again because I was scared that the dreams will return. I lay down and my husband cuddled me like a baby.
I finally slept off by the early hours of the morning, I slept so late that I don’t even know when the day broke, I was then woken up by a soft ki-ss on my li-ps…. Wow my husband is set for work already?
He smiled at me and told me to lay back when I tried to get up…. He a-ssured me that he will be back very early and promise to come back with a solution… He ki-ssed me again and wave good bye to me…. We exchanged our love and he went off to work while I lay back down and slept off immediately because I didn’t catch any sleep last night.

My husband returned home by 5pm and was looking so gloomy, I asked him what the problem could be, he looked at me with an expressionless face and asked me to come sit on his laps.
I sat on his laps, he gently bent down and ki-ssed my stomach, placed his ears and smiled… Our baby is kicking very well…. I smiled and nodded my head in agreement, then he told me that he has find a solution to my constant nightmares.
I looked at him with anticipation but his countenance wasn’t bright at all.
Honey what’s the problem? Your face is not bright at all, will the solution cost too much money? I asked my husband with questioning look. He signed and shook his head…. Is not about the money my dear, money is nothing to me you know that,he said to me still looking gloomy.
OK what is the problem? tell me we can sought it out together… After much hesitations he signed and then said.
well I spoke to my mother about your constant night mares and she said that the man that’s always coming after you is your spiritual husband
!Jesus Christ!! I exclaimed in shock and disbelief at the same time standing up from his laps…… What’s spiritual husband? I don’t understand what he is talking about…. I gat nothing to do with any spiritual husband or whatsoever, I was born and trained here in the city and seldom travels home so what have I and spiritual demon have in common? you know me very well honey, I don’t even go to churches or so called ministries for prayers except for Sunday services because I don’t buy the idea of fake prophecies, telling people what does not exist out of fictions or maybe imaginations just to extract or extort money from someone, or maybe telling me that my husband or mother in law or maybe my mother is the one responsible for things that are happening around me.
Oh! I am so disappointed at you for buying that idea of spiritual husband, please I don’t like it at all…… I was so angry at my husband for saying such a thing to me, at least I am a Christian and doesn’t joke with Sunday services, I am a born again as far as I know and I prays as much as possible, why then is he believing the report of his mother against me mtcheww!!
Hey sweetie, don’t be overly worked up, it was just her own thoughts, she meant no harm.
My husband said trying to hold my hands but I quickly withdrew my hands from him.

My husband’s eyes wide-ned as I called him by his name, because since we got married, I never addressed him by his name. I feigned ignorance noticing the expression on his face and continue with what I was saying….. Do you know what having a spiritual husband means? It means that I am possessed, that I am an ogbanje!! that’s just practically given me a name that I am not and I can’t just answer that name is so terrible Please!!
What’s wrong with you? I was only trying to have a decent conversation with you and proffer a solution to your sleepless night and hear you are totally taking it all on me, did I do something wrong?
My husband said with a harsh tone.
Yah you did everything wrong by saying that I have a spiritual husband or do you want to tell me that you have never in your life have se-xual Intercourse in the dream before? I blurted back at him angrily.
He looked at me so dazed and just kept staring at me in confusion.
You see, you can’t answer to that, is obvious that you used to, so that means you also have a spiritual wife that means we are even so we will seek the solution together……
Now tell me darling, since we are even I can hear the solutions now, I said trying to brighten things up a little.
Is no use talking to you, I need a bath now and I need to eat afterwards………………*
