“I’m up! I’m up” Ciara j£rked from her be-d switching off the freaking thing called alarm.
“Jeezz it’s almost seven. Dammit school starts by eight. I’m gonna be late” she cried out flinging the duvet away from her b©dy.
She hurried with her bath and other necessary stuffs. Within few minutes, she was dressed up for breakfast.
She headed to the dinning and met Louisa seated alre-ady.
” You’re pretty late today Ciara”
” Yeah I know. Just oversle-pt” Ciara brushed her way to her seat for breakfast.
” Too bad I’m ti-ght today Ciara. You’ll have to take the school bus. I have a very important meeting by eight and I can’t afford to go late.
You okay with that?” Louisa asked as she mulched her toasted bre-ad .
“Sure I am. It’s not that bad. First time in a school bus. Bet it’s gonna be a jolly ride” Ciara smiled sipping her tea.
“You’ll enjoy the ride. Cause you’ll get to see some of your mate’s. Don’t worry. You’ll thank me later” Louisa retorted.
“Can’t wait for that… So tell me, when’s the bus arriving today?” Ciara asked
“Are you kidding? It’s not a pri-vate bus you know, you’ll have to take a little walk down the junction. ”
“Really. So I don’t have to flag it down right?”
“Nah. You don’t. The driver just sees you and drop for you to hop in” Louisa replied. “As long as you are on your uniform” she added.
“That’s cool,” Ciara grinned.
“Yeah it is. But you ought to Know that once it’s 7:50 you’ll miss out. And the time is just 7:37 so you better hurry”
“I think I am done. Good bye Louisa.i’ll Report back at noon” she retorted. Picking up her lunch box and school bag.
“But you ba-rely fin…
Ciara cut her off by placing a light pe-ck on her both cheeks.
“No time” she muttered out.
“Okay. Wait let me walk you to the junction” Louisa dropped her coffee and wiped her mouth with a napkin.
“You don’t have to bother yourself. I’m gonna make you go late to your meeting Remember…
Don’t worry I can Walk myself. I swear”
“I am so sorry Ciara. This won’t happen again. It’s a promise” Louisa stated Matter of factly.
“No problem” Ciara concluded. Walking over to the door.
“Jolly Ride Ciara. I’ll come pick you up at noon” Louisa waved from the dinning as Ciara shut the door behind her.
Louisa sighed out, feeling Rusty.
“I wonder why am not comfortable with this decision” she muttered un-derneath her breathe.
She drifted her eyes to her watch. She’s almost late for her meeting. She better leave the house.
Maybe when Ciara returns, they’re gonna talk about getting her a nanny. Cause she’s really getting extra ordinarily busy each pas-sing day.

Louisa Sullivan halted in front of LINTEL Company. Meeting starts few minutes from now.
She c@m£ down from her car, viewing the magnificent building. As if seeing it for the first time.
“Good morning Ma’am” Mrs Dawkins her secretary greeted From behind.
“Morning Mrs Dawkins” she replied
“The meeting commences few minutes from now. The board members are alre-ady seated in place. You are the only one amiss” Mrs Dawkins reported.
“That’s no problem. I’m here now” she coldly nodded and added.
“Tell them I’ll be there in a jiffy”
“No problem Ma’am” she beckoned and left.
Louisa first went to her office. She dropped her bag and picked up some very important files for the meeting before she headed to the board room.

” This company as we all know has a lot of chains round the world and New York City as it’s head quarters. within the past weeks, this company suffered a great loss and that’s why Mr seon Nichols and Miss Mara Castillo were transferred from their respective br@nches down here.
And from what we know, they are the best. So I called this meeting to hear from the board members what we nee-d to do to make the rate of our daily sales fas-ter…” Louisa started with her speech.
Paying keen interest on all of them
Whispers clearly filled the whole room from the members. They mumbled to one another.
No one seems to have an idea to Louisa’s suggestion.
“It’s obvious none of you were prepared for this” she gushed out with a frown.
“Excuse me , Miss Sullivan. Talking about the company’s rate of selling, I think this company is one of the best worldwi-de. We have patronizers everywhere. No dull sales record.
The only problem here is the great loss we had some weeks ago. And to make up for that loss , we nee-d a fas-ter rate at which we sell our products.
Though I haven’t thought of a plan yet but I..
“Are you suggesting a solution or you’re contributing to what I just said?” Louisa cut into Mr Patterson’s words.
“What I am saying is that we have to work together as a committee to find a ….
“Excuse me Mr Patterson. If you’ve got nothing else to say, I think you rather not waste our Time.” Louisa shut him up in an instant.
To her, he’s just beating Around the bush.
“Okay ” he replied, lowering his head in shame.
“Anyone else?” Louisa asked after cutting Patterson abruptly.
After a long pause.
Miss mara Castillo raised a hand up.
“Yes Miss Castillo?”
” I and my colleague Seon has talked on this issue before and we c@m£ out with a suggestion that might be accepted and benefitable to us and the company”
She said standing from her seat.

Louisa and the others adjusted their attention to Mara and seon as they paid keen interest to their suggestions.
It really impressed Louisa and the board members as they congratulated them on such brilliant idea.
Louisa later then shared the duties btw seon and mara.she made them in charge of the wares, while seon upd@t£s her on the progress, mara will keep the records.
With that, she closed the meeting.

“You s£nt for me” seon approached his Boss inside her office.
“Here” she stretched a paper to him.
“It’s an endorsement letter. I have approved whatever plan you genuises are gonna make. All I nee-d from you at intervals is just the upd@t£s.”
She stated clearly as seon took it from her .
“Okay. Anything else?” He asked with a small smile on hisl-ips.
“No. Just leave” she replied without sparing him a glance.
Seon nodded and made for the door.
He soon st©pped and turned back to louisa.
“How’s Ciara?”
“She’s good” she retorted eyes fixed on her computer.
“She’s a smart kid you know. I’d love to st©p by later today to see her. Is that okay with you?”
“Sure. Am good with it” she continued typing whatever she was typing.
Seon stared bluntly at her. Can’t she just spare him a glance?
She’s really one of a kind. Nothing at all gets to her.
Not even advances from men😒.
Maybe if he continues with his gist, she might finally look at him with her pretty eyes.☺️
“Sunday’s p@rty was fun . Don’t you think?” He raised up.
Louisa st©pped with her typing. Swiftly turning a burning gaze at seon.
“And what has that got to with you leaving my office?” Louisa frowned.
Seon Chuckled lightly. At least, he finally got her to look at him😊.
“There’s something really off about you. That thing that always make you wanna push me away” he stated on a serious note.
“Push you away?” Louisa scoffed. What’s up with seon?
“Push you away? Are you high Mr Nichols? Talking about pushing you away, you better get out of my office” she sh0t at him. Leaving him so dumbfounded.
She is chasing him out?
“Okay” he replied in disappointment and left. Shutting the door behind him.
“Men😒! Stupid Men” she huffed and continued with her typing.

Seon handed the letter over to Mara.
“It’s an endorsement letter from the Boss” He faintly added.
Mara smiled as she silently re-ad it.
“I think she is impressed with our idea” Mara grinned fondling the letter.
“Yet she refused to express her feelings” seon gr-unted spitefully taking a seat beside her.
Mara sighed aloud” what’s the matter seon?”
“Did the Boss query you?”
Seon exhaled de-eply 😔 “There’s more to it than that” he sadly ran his f!ngersthrou-gh his smooth silk hair.
“Tell me, why are you sad? ” Mara rested a hand on his shoulder.
“Have you ever wondered why the Boss behaves this way? Why she is so res£nted to herself? There is a thick wall separating her from people. Why did she build that Wall?
Why does she despise men? Everyone knows the way she replies me any time I try to talk to her.
The irony of it all is that she feels different towards her little sister and Her best friend Bayley.
Why is it so ha-rd for her just to treat others same way?”
Seon bitterly complained to Mara. A trace of anger in his voice.
“Like, how do you feel when you are just thrown to the dark side of someone’s heart when all you try to do all day is to get the person’s attention?
How do you feel when you are snubbe-d like a piece of $h!t by someone you want so much?
How do you feel when all your feelings are just in vain?”
He asked repeatedly in a sober mood.
Mara stared de-eply at seon. Her mouth forming a perfect ‘O’ . Now she knows what this is all about.
“Feelings? Feelings for the Boss? Why didn’t I see that coming?”
“I know it sounds sappy. But it’s the truth. You don’t have to blame mefor that. It just happened. I never planned for any of it.
And it’s very ha-rd and sad to think I have feelings for someone who detest my pres£nce.
How do I go about this? How do I tell her how I feel about her?.
Out of the whole every lady in the universe, why did my heart choose her? Knowing full well that it’s never gonna work between us😞” He blurted out emotionally.
“You are not to blame seon. It’s not a bad thing to fall inlove”
“No it’s not. But it becomes bad when the person doesn’t love you in return”
“What do you have me do Mara? Since it isn’t a Crime to fall inlove. How do I go about this?🤦🏼♂️”
“Well, seon. I will advice you to do something that everyother girl would easily fall for. too bad. Louisa isn’t ‘every other’ girl.
But there is no harm in trying.
Now, every girl gets impressed when you get close to them. Even if they seem irritated by you. Don’t give up, just push on.
For the case of Louisa, try engaging in pep talks with her. Don’t act timid it gentle. You gotta act tough. So she’d see you as a ha-rd meat to chew on.
Show her she isn’t the only strong headed being in universe. Poke into her business at any given opportunity. Check up on her at your leisure.
She’s a human being seon. she’ll definitely get the sign. And you won’t be surprised the day you finally get to confess your feelings to her. She’ll get to confess Same to you😊”

“You really think that’ll work?” Seon brightened.
“Test and see☺️. Worked on me once. Might work on her too. Who knows?”
“Yeah. Who knows?” Seon retorted.
