EPISODE 39
Camila sat on her bed, she was too shock to comprehend what just happened downstairs, was Ella right about king still having feelings for her? what was she even thinking? king already proved it to her that he still has feelings for his wife…. never did she think for a second that Ella was still alive, she thought Ella had died…. that was why she never bothered to ask him.
She got up from the bed and start to pace up and down the room, her legs were too weak to even stand, she went back to the bed to sat down.
Her door opened and king came inside, she immediately got up to walk into the bathroom, at least to clear her head she already know why king was there…. but king grabbed her hand and pulled her back.
KING
I promise you is not what you think Camila….. I feel….
CAMILA
you feel nothing for her anymore, isn’t that what you are about to say? I saw it myself king, you feel everything for her…. first love is ha-rd to forget, from the look of things she’s your first love.
KING
she’s my first love, but right now you are the woman I love.
CAMILA
really? but that wasn’t look like, she ki-ssed you to prove a point, but you didn’t push her away, you ki-ssed her back like a hungry lion, like someone who hadn’t ki-ssed for years…it shows you still like her.
KING
common Camila, you can’t pin that on me, she took me unware and you know it
CAMILA
(Scoffed)
she took you unaware, and when you got your senses back what did you do? you continued ki-ssing her…. honestly king I don’t have strength for this…. you can go back to your wife…. wait what were you thinking when you said you had fallen in love with me? when you knew you were still committed to another woman, when you knew she was still your wife…. you really play me for a fool king…. but I do not blame you, I blame myself, for having all this powers yet couldn’t see throu-ghyou…. I let my love for you to blind my sense of reasoning.
king felt bad, he thought Ella wasn’t going to come back again, it’s been four years since she left, he thought his feelings for her were gone since he was no longer thinking about her, but what he failed to realize was that he only stopped thinking about Ella because Camila came into the picture…. it’s not in his plans to ever hurt Camila
He tried to touch her but Camila immediately moved
CAMILA
don’t you dare lay those hands on me…. please leave my room
KING

CAMILA
get out
(she screamed at him)
king had no choice but to go out of her room….. he went downstairs angrily to chase Ella out of his house, she left him for four years, not just him,she left their daughter too…. how much was he that she wouldn’t leave them again? his not going to let her ruin what he just started with Camila.
He got downstairs only to meet Ella in the living room, tv remote in hand.
ELLA
shu-ga, wont you help me take my things upstairs?
KING
I’m no longer your shu-ga okay? you threw that away the moment you left this house … you can’t come back here, no body wants you here…. not even our daughter, I mean my daughter.
ELLA
Jasmine will come to accept me longer or later, if she doesn’t that one is her own…. the only person I’m concern of right now is you… I want you back.
KING
what do you take me for Ella? a piece of furniture that you keep for years then come back to meet it the same way? are you a witch or something? why is it that my happiness doesn’t mean anything to you? huh?
ELLA
common my darling, your happiness means everything to me and that’s why I came back…. I miss you so much, God knows I did…. I’m truly sorry for leaving you, it wasn’t my intention.
She said and walked closer to stand in front of king, king moved back but she moved closer to him again, she grabbed his shirt collar, and ki-ssed him, king tried to push her away but she jumped on him, king grabbed her bu-tt with his both hands so she wouldn’t fall down…. Ella smiled and continued ki-ssing him, she has been married to this man for so many years, she was his first and would always remain his first….. when she met king he was still a V¡rgin then, he hadn’t had se-x before….. she taught him everything about women that he knows today, sometimes she put porn for him to watch and learn how to touch her, she had always being the kind with a high libido…. king lost power too and started to ki-ss his wife, they ki-ssed for a while before king walked to the couch and threw Ella on it for-cefully.
KING
I know what you are trying to do Ella, but the height time you know you don’t have any influence over me, the better for us both….. you saw how Jasmine reacted when she saw you this morning, I want you out of my house before my daughter comes back… and as for that divorce I have been denying you, I’m ready to give it to you.
ELLA
you can’t be serious king, you know you can’t leave me…. you love me way too much to leave me.
KING
(He scoffed)
if you believe I can’t leave you, then you are the biggest joker of the year.
He said and ran upstairs to his room…. Ella sat on the couch angrily, her heart was bittered and she immediately felt hatred for Camila…. it’s all Camila’s fault…. if not for her king would have taken her back with no questions asked… but because she’s in the picture king is now challenging her…. she must deal with her, she wouldn’t let Camila take what belong to her.
Later that day Jasmine came back from school hoping that ella had gone, but she was surprised to see her in the living room sleeping… she ignored her and ran upstairs to meet her father who was working on his laptop.
JASMINE
what is that evil woman still doing in our house daddy?
KING
manners young lady
(he scolded)
JASMINE
I’m sorry, good afternoon dad
KING
how are you?
JASMINE
how can I be fine? how can I be fine when that woman is still in our house? what is she doing here Daddy? hasn’t she done enough? dad why didn’t you send her away? do you want her to break our heart for the untenth time?
(she said crying)
KING
I’m not letting her stay okay, your mother is just too stubborn, I asked her to leave but she refuse… and you know I can’t send her away because legally she’s still my wife
Jasmine was shock, she couldn’t believe it was her dad that was talking…. her mind immediately went to Camila… she dropped her school bag on the floor and ran to Camila’s room

Jasmine ran to Camila’s room to console her, Camila was seating at one conner of her bed, her head bent on her knees.
JASMINE
hey
(she said slowly)
Camila lifted up her head to look at her.
CAMILA
you are back so early
JASMINE
it’s 4pm already
CAMILA
oh, how was school?
JASMINE
I couldn’t learn anything today at school
CAMILA
And why is that?
JASMINE
how could I have learnt a thing when I can’t stop thinking that woman is in our house.
CAMILA
(She chuckled)
it’s enough that, that so called woman is your mother….. I will go make you dinner.
She said and got up from the Conner where she sat…. Jasmine grabbed her hand.
JASMINE
don’t let Ella get to you okay? my father loves you and I can swear it….. that woman is very manipulative and she would do anything to make you believe her… but I want you to know that my father isn’t a playboy…. he truly loves you.
CAMILA
(she smiled)
go freshen up and come down for some snacks while I make your dinner okay?
Jasmine nodded in agreement before she left Camila’s room to hers…. Ella woke up and went outside to check if her luggages were still there, to her surprise they were gone from the place she kept them… she smiled to herself, king must have taken it upstairs to his room.
She locked the door and started to head upstairs, she met Camila on the way.
ELLA
I thought you left already
She said to Camila, but Camila ignored her and kept walking…. ella pulled her back for-cefully, that moment Camila grabbed her hand immidiately in self defense…. she stare at her eyes de-eply before she threw her hand away.
ELLA
you little br@t, how dare you pin my hand
(she said raising her hand to slap cami)
But king grabbed her hand from behind
KING
if you dare as much as lay a finger on her, I will forget every lesson my mother ever taught me I beat the devil out of you.
His face showed he was very serious, Ella has never seen king look that angry before, especially not at her…. she pulled her hand out of King’s grip and went inside.
Camila just walked away without a word, king ran after her to the kitchen
CAMILA
I never asked you to defend me, I could defend myself.
KING
babe I’m sorry, I know how hurt you must feel right now…. I wish there was anything I could do to take it away.
CAMILA
(She laughed)
I see a man who wants to sleep well at night talking…. whatever that makes you happy, it’s fine with me.
she went to the freezer to bring out frozen meat and soak in the water to unfroze….. she brou-ght out fresh tomatoes and started to chop them in small piece.
He held her shoulder and turn her to face himself
KING
last night meant everything to me Camila, and I swear I never expected today to turn out this way… yes Ella was right, I denied her divorce because I was too much in love with her, you were equally right too, it’s very difficult to let go of your first love…. but Camila I want to ask you a question…. would you give out gold for a stone? would you throw away something that is real and willing to stay for something that has never been real? I loved Ella but you are the one this heart beats for now…. I’m crazily in love with you… Jasmine doesn’t even see Ella as her mother, you are the one she wants, it’s you we all want..
He carried her hand and placed on his che-st, it was the only way she could go throu-ghhis head even if she doesn’t want to… Camila was able to read the honesty in his heart…. it made her happy and sad at the same time that she started to cry and beat him.
CAMILA
st*pid, why then did you have to ki-ss her like that?
KING
I deserve it, slap me as ha-rd as you can…. I made a mistake, please forgive me.
Camila stopped beating him, she was about to seat down on the floor but king grabbed her before she could touch the ground.
KING
I love you so much Camila, in our darkest hour you came and shine your light in our part, you brou-ght laughter and happiness to our home….how can I not love someone like you? even in my next life you still will be the one I will fall for.
She stare at his eyes, she could read the truth from just staring at his eyes… she couldn’t help but smile…. after seeing the way he ki-ssed his wife earlier, she was so scared that she has lost him…. but seeing throu-ghhim him now had made her realized one thing…. she was just worried for nothing.
King brou-ght his li-ps closer to her, she locked his li-ps with hers and they ki-ssed pas-sionately.
Jasmine cleared her throat in a funny way which made them to break free from each other
JASMINE
geez, get a room guys, we have more than ten rooms in this house.
Camila felt shy, she quickly moved from king’s body and continued with what she was doing.
JASMINE
I want to learn how to cook, will you teach me?
CAMILA
of course, I will be willing to
JASMINE
yes, now I will have something to boast of at school.
KING
are you guys doing competition at school or what?
JASMINE
huh? nah, it’s nothing of such.
CAMILA
looks like your little princess here is trying to impress……
She was going to say but Jasmine jumped on her and covered her mouth, to stop her from spilling her little secret.
KING
it must be that boy from her school, what’s that his name again? was it Eric or Derrick?
JASMINE
dad!!!!! I told you Derrick and I are just good friends
CAMILA
looks like you are crushing on him too.
JASMINE
no am not
CAMILA
yes you are….. look at her eyes, she’s so…..
JASMINE
Dad you and mum are teasing me, I’m not going to learn how to cook anymore.
She said and ran out of the kitchen, Camila felt a bu-tterfly in her stomach, did Jasmine just refer to her as “mum”?
KING
did she just called you mum?
he said in a total confused state too, he turn to look at Camila only to see how red her cheeks had turn… she was obviously blus-hing..
CAMILA
(She held her cheeks)
your daughter just called me mum
KING
awwwn, come here…. you see, I told you, you are stuck here with this man and his girl… there’s no kingdom without a queen, you are the queen of this king.
He said and ki-ssed her forehead….. they cooked together before Camila went upstairs to freshen up, king went to his room to freshen up too only to meet Ella lying on is he’d nak-ed.
She spray her legs so wide that someone coming from outside could easily see her p**sy….
KING
holy fuc-k
king screamed and looked away immidiately he opened his door.
KING
have you lost it? what if it was Jasmine entering my room?
ELLA
I know she won’t come, not when she saw me entering your room earlier…. that’s how much my own daughter hates me now….but I don’t care…. I’m hor-ny so come to bed, I miss those days when we use to make love, the way you visit my body with a new energy every time we meet.
King could not believe his eyes, he ignored her and walked into his bathroom to take his shower.
