“You know where Gina is?” Clayton asked again just to be sure that he had heard her correctly the other time.
Bonnie tried not to roll her eyes which didn’t go as planned because she rolled her eyes getting frustrated over Clayton’s pointless questions. Didn’t she make herself clear when she had told him that earlier? Or does he think she was joking or something?
“Listen. We need to get there real fast or else she’s going to kill Maddie and Gina and then escape. Is that what you really want?” She was giving Clayton a pointed look by the time she was done talking.
“And why should I trust you?” He asked.
Bonnie gro-aned inwardly. “Because I want that bi-tch to pay for what she did to Kylie! I want her to pay!” She said in fury as hot tears streamed down her face. “If you don’t want to go just tell me… I’m willing to go there on my own and make her pay with or without the law.”
That was when Clayton realize that this girl standing in front of him wasn’t worried about Maddie or Gina… She only wanted Olive to be arrested and that’s what made him trust her. He shouldn’t doubt her. She was the only hope they have in finding Gina and Maddie.

“You monster! You beast! you know very well that Maddie can’t swim! How could you? How could you be so heartless! We took you as a sister. We treated you as one of us. We loved and cared for you…but what did you do in return? You killed us all.” Gina said angrily. Never in a million years would she ever believe that a friends of hers would do something as evil as this? What? Justice? So she killed them one after the other all because of Ryan? What kind of person would do something as wicked and evil as this just because of a man! No, just because of obsession?!
She never liked Ryan. In fact she hated him but if Olive had told them how much she cared for Ryan then she would have tried helping her get him. Yes, she had told them that she had a crush on him but they all thought that she was just joking and was only pulling their legs.
But how could she go this far by killing them? What had she achieved? Justice? Huh? Bullshit! All she had gotten is her hands filled with blood. She had hurt the innocent and deserved to pay dearly. But why does it feel like she had won and Gina and her friends had lost? Why does it feel like the battle was over?
She look at the closed door and all she could see was….nothing. No one was there to save them. She didn’t even tell anyone where she was going or who she was going to meet.
But de-ep down, she felt like someone was going to come save her. She felt like Clayton was on his way to save her but at the same time she felt….felt…. helpless.
“Sisters kill each other, Gina. Do you even know how many times I’d tried to kill you all? Wait, you actually thought I liked cooking and took it as a hobby? huh? I wanted to poison you all! That was my intention.” She smirked. “But that seemed like an easy death. Dying by poisoning….? Nah. That was rubbish. But do you know what hurt and kills the most? Watching your love ones die. So I took that as a better idea to take you all. While I take one of you, the others feels more pain. Why? Because they had lost one of them.” She let out a de-ep sigh. “And as for Maddie? Why exactly did you think I kept her inside that tank filled with water? To keep her alive?” She started laughing. “That’s bullshit, G. She deserve to die. You all do!”
“No, the only one who deserve to die is no one else but you!” As soon as Gina said that she took out a gun and pointed it at Olive. “Let Maddie go or I’m going to shoot!” She threatened.
Olive started laughing as she took a step back from her. “You are so tough. I knew you will do this. I expected this of you so that was why I prepared this.”
“What?” Gina asked, looking around.
“This.” She repeated again. Gina was more confuse as she looked around. She was so distracted that she didn’t realized when Olive came to stand very close to her. Before she could act, Olive had snatched the gun from her grasp and was pointing the gun at Gina now.
“You are so dumb, G. What exactly did you think I prepared down for you?” She asked with a smirk on her face.
“What are you going to do now? Kill me? Go on. Kill me. Let go of the freaking trigger and kill me, you fu-cking psychopath!”
Olive started laughing again. Her laughter sounded like those evil villains on movie. She was so different. Different from the Olive that they once knew. The only similar thing between the two was the gla-sses. She still had the gla-sses on.

“Your wish is my command.” And with that she let go of the trigger. The bullet hit Gina. Gina stared down at herself and saw blood dripping down from her stomach. She looked up at Olive who had a smirk on her face.
Gina eyes were welled with tears. How could this have happened to her? Why did it took her so long to read throu-ghthe thin lines? Why couldn’t she save her friends or better still save herself?
She slowly collapsed to the floor. Her back was against the floor and her gaze were in the ceilings. She couldn’t believe that she would doe like this without telling her father how much she loves him and give him a hug. She couldn’t take the two kids out on a girls night out. She couldn’t even celebrate Mia’s birthday. She couldn’t also tell Clay how much she loves him.
…. loves?…
A smile appeared on her face. She didn’t even realize that until now.
Her eyes were already becoming heavy. She was closing consciousness. And that was when she heard his voice calling out to her. He was her hope. But too bad. he was late. They were late. And with that one thought she gave up. And maybe. Just maybe Olive didn’t win after all.
“Gina! Gina! Please don’t do this to me. Please open your eyes.” Clayton said as he pulled her into his arms. He kept urging her to wake up but she didn’t.
He was late again. He couldn’t save his wife that other time and how he couldn’t also save the one girl that his heart and the heart of his daughter too.
“You are going to rot in jail, Olive. I promise you that. You will be for killing Kylie! You will pay?”
Olive smirked. “i didn’t kill her. She was just so nosy. And the only one for my secret to be saved and for me to accomplish my mission… i had to take her out.”

(A/N: If you could remember Kylie had called Olive and had asked her to meet up with her. Well, i will take you guys to their conversation).
Olive looked around the hamburger shop and sighted Kylie across the room munching a hamburger.
She took some slow step towards her with a scowl on her face and took a sit opposite from Kylie. Kylie kept on munching her food acting like no one had Just sat down.
“Really? Are you still going to keep playing dumb?” Kylie didn’t say anything until she was done with her food which took her for thirty minutes.
“What were you saying again?” She questioned, taking a napkin and dabbed her li-ps, staring Olive.
“Wow. Did you call me here to humiliate me? Or rather, bully me like you always do?”
Kylie smiled. “You’ve grown to be a brave woman, Olive. Kudos to you. But you didn’t just grow up to be a brave woman but you also became a murderer.” Olive shoot her a glare. “Oops. Did i say that loud?” Kylie questioned, dramatically.
“What? What are you even talking about? How sure am I that you aren’t the one doing this? You and I both know how much you hate Gina and wish her death.”
Kylie threw her hands on the air. “I won’t deny that. But you shouldn’t also deny the fact that you loved Ryan and became jealous of Gina because he chose her over you.” Olive clenched her fist tightly as she kept shooting daggers at Kylie’s way. “What? You thought your secret would be save with you? I know you too well, Olive. You are like an open book.” Olive started laughing.
“Am I?” She let out a sigh as she stood up to her feet. “If you know me too well then you shouldn’t have drank from that cup. It was poisoned.”
“wha…what?” Kylie wide-ned her eyes in fear as she stared down at the cup.
Olive started laughing picked up her bag from the floor. “If you k ew me too.well then you wouldn’t have believed me.” She smiled. “I lied. Anyway, have fun. I better run along. I have better things to do.”

“Messing up her car was even an easy death. Although this wasn’t my first time trying to create an accident. But the first attempt ended up wrongly because it had killed someone else and not the one person I wanted to kill. So how see…Kylie isn’t the only person.”
Clayton slowly turned to look at her. “You had killed someone by plotting an accident?’
She shrugged like it was nothing. “Yeah? While her daughter I guess became blind. Why do you even care? Shouldn’t you still be mourning your lost little girlfriend?”
Clay couldn’t believe his ears. That person she had talked about was his wife. Olive was the one who had killed his wife. Olive was his wife’s murderer and the cause of Mia’s blindness!
“Take her away.” Mr Walter ordered some policemen. Olive kept on smiling as the policemen handcuffed her and took her away. But before she left. She had said.
“ah. Do not forget to take Maddie away also. She’s in that tank.”

Clay sat beside Gina in the ambulance as they rode towards the hospital. He was crying while holding her hand. He could have saved her. No, he should have saved her.
He was a failure. He has failed her.
“Shut up.” A feminine voice scolded. He brou-ght his face up and look around. His gaze now settled on the nurse taking care of Gina.
“What?” She questioned.
“Did you say something?” He asked.
“No. She actually did. Her right arm just need some medication and she would be alright.” The nurse said.
“Wait. Her right arm?” Clayton asked in disbelief.
“Yeah? What did you think happened to her?”
“He actually thought that I was going to die just like that.” Her soft feminine voice came out again. Clay gaze settled down on her face and she slowly opened her eyes. “She shot my arm not my stomach. I’m still very much alive. And, besides, have you forgotten that I am a well talented detective.”
The nurse chuckled while Clayton laughed and quickly pulled her into his arms for a warm embrace An embrace that held trust, Love, care and a future of being together.
“fu-ck.” She gro-aned. “My arm still hurt.” That was a joke because honestly….she needed him by her side. She doesn’t want him to let go of her. He was the first guy to actually hug her without her flinching. Maybe she was ready now. Ready to forget about her past. Ready to move on from it.

“Olivia Patrick agreed to the murder of Phoebe, Doris, Bianca, Jane, Zoey, Alicia, her father, Mr Godwin and Vera,” Vera was Clay’s wife. “And hereby the court find her guilty and would be sentence her to death by hanging. And here is my judgement.” The judge hit the wood continually to indicate that the judgement as been sealed. She stood up to her feet before everyone did. Olive was been pulled away by two policemen but before she left she came across the two people she had thought to be dead. Gina and Maddie.
“You…you guys are suppose to be dead. How come? How did you guys survived. It was suppose to be a perfect murder! you guys are suppose to be dead!!!” She yelled at the top of her voice as she glared at them.
Gina shook her head. “The only person who is going to be dead very soon is you. I should have said..rest in peace but no you don’t deserve that word….i hope you die in the land of the dead. I hope you get rejected in hell. And also…rest in pieces.” And with that the policemen dragged her away. Out of their sight. And out of the land of the living.
They won after all. Justice did prevailed. Bianca, Jane, Phoebe, Alicia, Doris, Zoey and Vera… their soul can now rest in perfect peace.
“Do you what I learnt from all this?” Gina asked Maddie as they both made their way to the parking lot.
“Learn how to swim?” Maddie joked.
Gina chuckled. “No. Silly. Trust no one. Anyone can be on a mission to hurt you… Every one is not a saint.” Gina said.
“Remind me never to trust a girl that wears gla-sses again.”

The whole place was snowy. Elsa and Mia were decorating the Christmas tree. Maddie and her wife were wrapping the gifts while Gina and Clay are busy at the station.
“Girls, be careful while you decorate the tree.” Maddie said, getting up to her feet and made her way to the kitchen. After a while she returned to the living room with four cups of hot chocolate. She handed one to her wife and collected one for herself then handed the remaining two to the two girls.
It’s been three years and things have been going smoothly for them. Maddie get to be with her wife. Yeah, she got married to Selena, the same girl she wanted to go on a date with. They even adopted Elsa and was taking very good care of her as their own child. Mia gets to see again. She was very excited when she get to see Gina’s face. And everyone else’s face She get to fight with her negative thoughts. Clayton and Gina? They were still the cat and dog that they were known for. Always agreeing on two different things. But they loved each other. And that was the most important thing.

“Won’t you go to your father and wish him a merry Christmas?” Clay asked Gina as they got to the parking lot. They were closed for the day.
“Yeah yeah. But it isn’t even Christmas yet. Christmas is just next tomorrow.” She said.
“You might be very busy and wouldn’t find an opportunity to wish him a merry Christmas. Now go.”
“Alllllright. But ki-ss me first.”
“Go on first.”
She poured at him. “But I want you to ki-ss me first. It’s more like a lucky charm.”
“Fine..Your wish is my command.” And with that said, he ki-ssed. The ki-ss lasted for a while before they parted with smiles on their faces.
“I love you.” He said to her.
She grinned. “I love you too.” He shook his head. “What?”
“I don’t want you to say, I live you too Because it sounds like there are two of us in your life.”
She laughed softly and pecked him on his li-ps. “I. Love. You. Clayton.” She said, taking each word careful.
Clayton smiled. “Now that sounds more better. Now, go wish your dad a merry Christmas. See you at home.”
“Okay.”

?THE D-DAY?
It was Christmas and Gina was still very much asleep in her room that she shares with Clay for the main time.
She suddenly heard a scream from downstairs and that woke her up from her beauty sleep. She gro-aned inwardly getting out of bed and made her way downstairs.
“What happened?” She asked the first person that she saw. Elsa. Elsa shrugged her shoulders with a grin on her face. “Is this a joke or something?” Gina questioned, giving the little girl a pointed look.
“Sorry?” The little girl said.
Gina just rolled her eyes and look around the quiet house. “Where are the others?”
“Busy.” Elsa replied.
Gina knitted her brows in confusion. “Busy? with what?”
Elsa rolled her eyes. “It’s Christmas, aunty. Everyone are bond to be busy like this in a time of Christmas.”
“How can I forget that? Forgive my manners.” Gina said dramatically and turned to leave but was stopped as soon as she heard Clay’s voice from behind. She slowly turned around to stare at him.
“Merry Christmas, babe.” He handed her a wrapped gift. He was putting on a black hoodie, Elsa was wearing something like this too.
“Thanks love.” She said, unwrapping the gift. Her attention were more focused on the gift. It was the same hoodie that Clay was putting on. She was more confuse now. she looks up from the gift to stare at Clay but he wasn’t there anymore. Instead he had his back against her. Not just him. Also Maddie, Selena, Elsa, and Mia. Their backs were facing her.
why did they have their backs facing her? She wonders. She was about to take a step when she saw the words written at the back of their clothes.
She stare at Maddie’s which says, I ask. She turn to Selena’s which also say, will. She state at Elsa’s, you. Her gaze moved to Mia and rested on hers. “Me.” She whispered softly then look down at her own hoodie which says, Gina.
She was so happy. Never in her lifetime had she imagined a day like this to come. She was happy. Although all of her friends aren’t here but she knows that de-ep down, they were here. She misses them like crazy but she was happy. Justice prevailed after all.
“What do you say?” The two kids asked her. They were all awaiting her answer.
She smiled then wore the hoodie over her shoulder with a smile on her face. “Yes.”
She had welcomed her new life. Her new world. Her home. Her fiancé. And her happiness. She was happy. Maddie was also happy. Everyone were happy and she knew for a fact that even her best friends who were dead were also happy.
Although they had left too soon. She smiled as she embraced Selena, then embraced Maddie, Elsa and Mia. Then she finally walked Into the arms of her fiancé. Her husband to be.
She look up at him with a smile attached to her face. Clay slowly dropped a ki-ss on her li-ps.
“Merry Christmas, Gina.”
She smiled. “Merry Christmas, Clayton.”
She wrapped her arms around him as she hugs him. She was glad to be here. She was glad to have met up with Clayton. She was satisfied to be loved by just him.
But one thing was for sure…she will never forget those friends who stood by her. She was forever have them in her heart. May their gentle soul rest in perfect peace….
