I woke up wra-pped with a sheet round me. I wasn’t sure if I was in my room or not. I turned to the other side of the be-d but couldn’t find nothing, except that the room I was in looked unfamiliar. It doesn’t look like my room.
I closed my eyes, in hope that when I opened it, I would find myself in my room. I opened my eyes but nothing changed. I was still in the same room.
As I was about to sit up straight, I realized I was n-ked un-der the sheet.
Oh my gawd! I muttered in disappointment. How
come? I remembered I drank too much last night, but I wouldn’t have allowed someone to t©uçh me.
Juliana you drank too much. You really did not know
what you were doing. No. no.no. I wouldn’t have sle-pt with any guy. I wouldn’t. I’m not like that.
This can’t be!
I got up to my feet. I quic-kly put on my clothes which was lying on the floor, and picked up my bag when I saw a note on the be-dside table.
📚
✏Dear Angel,
You were just like her. I knew you had to be good
but I didn’t imagine you could be that good. It was
really special and I hope we can get to know each
other better.
✏From Willy.
📚📚📚

‘ Willy ‘ No. This can’t be! It can’t be Willy. I took a look at the writing again, it was just like his handwriting. No different at all. I felt like my heart was breaking. I was so stupid to go near this man. I remembered Linda and I c@m£ to the bar, but how I got here with Willy surprised me.
I went throu-gh the writing again.

He had no clue of who he sle-pt with except he mentioned ‘you were just like her’. Does that mean he really care about me. I know I’m the person he referred to in the letter, but I really don’t think he cares anymore.

Juliana he never cares. Don’t ever make such
mistake again. I told myself and got up. I wanted to throw it away, but I decided to drop it in my bag. I really did not know why but maybe I should tell Linda. What will she think of me? Juliana how can
you..God! I muttered to myself. I saw his contact he added to it and dropped it in my bag as well.
.As I reached home, I saw Linda outside the house pacing up and down. She looked worried and stressed up. I quic-kly walked into the compound and called out her name.
“Linda.”

She turned quic-kly to my direction.

“Juliana, my God! Where have you been?” She asked impatiently and continued.

“I searched for you at the bar yesterday. If not for the bar man that told me you went with a guy, I really do not know what will happen, because I almost went crazy looking for you last night.”
She was acting like a big sister, and I felt so bad to put her in such state. I know she cares about me, but worrying too much isn’t good for someone’s health

.
“Let’s go in,” was all I said. She looked a bit disappointed that I didn’t say sorry, but I was planning to explain things to her. Since she knew I followed a guy last night, It was certain she would ask who the guy was.
We settled down on the long couch, as we both faced each other.

“Linda.” I called not meeting her eyes. ‘I’m sorry.” I apologized, and I finally looked up at her. She seemed not to be affected, but I knew I can’t hide anything since we’re both in this together.
I brou-ght out Willy’s contact and gave it to her. She collected it and looked a bit shocked, not showing much reaction.

“The guy you followed was willy?”

I nodded. “Yes Linda. And I sle-pt with him.” I quic-kly told her and I felt very disappointed in myself.
She stared at me and I stared back her. “You drank too much.”
She said and let out a de-ep breath.

“It wasn’t your fault.”

That means he took advantage of me.

“Linda what am I going to do now?” I asked her, but she kept quiet for some minutes before she spoke up.
“A lot,” she slowly said.
My eye brow sh0t up. “Linda do you know what you’re saying?” I asked her, almost got angry.
“Linda, is this a joke or what?”

“No, it’s not. Listen to me Juliana. You have to be close to Willy because that’s the only way to know what’s going on and how we can get to them.”
“But you think that’s the only way for us? Besides, they must not know about me.”

“Of course they can’t Juliana.” Linda said holding my hand.

“You just have to be strong.”

“Trust me,” Linda said.”Its going to help us.”

“Thanks dear.” I sincerely thanked her and smiled at her.

“Don’t thank me.” she smiled back. “You should meet with him this afternoon.” She suggested

“Its okay by me.” I agreed.
************

Around 3:00pm, Linda and I had dressed up to go to Willy’s place. I would be the only one seeing him, while she waits in the car.

“Good to go?” Linda asked.

“Yea.” I replied.

We both walked to the car. Linda sat at the driver’s seat and I took the seat beside her at the front.
We eventually arrived there, looking at the building, it was a nice place and quite expensive.

I was about to step down from the car when my eyes locked at someone I wasn’t expecting to see. My eyes wi-de-ned as my heart began pounding. I was shocked and I felt sick, and weak all over me as tears rolled down my face.

“Juliana, are you alright?” Linda asked in a concern tone.

“I’m alright.” I said.

But am I? No, I’m not. I wasn’t feeling well. I wasn’t supposed to see her there, but she stood right there with someone. I stared at her. Her smile was just like before. Like when she smiled at Mom for giving her ice cream, taking her to shopping and tickling her. But my baby looked so big like her mama. She has changed. The ten years old girl is now twelve plus. Looking radiant and beautiful.

I could remember vividly how my she trembled with fear two years ago. But here she was smiling at at a man have never seen before.

“Juliana.” Linda shouted my name, and that scared me.

“What is that?” I asked in fear.

“What has come over you? You’re crying for heaven sake!”

Was I? “Oh!” I wiped away my tears and composed myself.
I might have told Linda my secret but never talked to her about Ella. I can’t just. I was ashamed and I just couldn’t keep telling everyone Ella is Willy’s child. It’s better I leave her out of this for now. I might just end up hurting her again. I pray Linda never finds out.

I’m sorry Linda. I don’t want her getting mixed up
with this.
I saw someone c@m£ out and walked closer to her.
“What!” I almost screamed and I felt a pain right in my che-st.
“What is it?” Linda quic-kly asked.

It’s him. The man I hated so much. The devil himself. He was smiling at her. God! I felt like going over there and take my baby away, but I can’t. She looked so happy with these people. How did they find her? Why is she staying with these people? I felt tears rolled down my cheeks and I felt Linda’s hand on my shoulder.
“You can do it.” She persuaded. “Crying won’t solve anything.”
Yes. She was right but, all I could do was cry.
“Linda that is Adams.”
I said slowly to her.
“You mean is the man standing with that girl?”
“Yes.” I nodded.

It was too much to handle. Why was Ella with these people and why was Adams acting nicely to her. I know he hates her just like he hates her mother. Tears fell from my eyes and slowly rolled down my face. What was uncle doing with my parents murderers. Why was he with them. Why? I don’t think uncle searched for me at all. Did he?

Everything was so confusing. And it broke my heart seeing my daughter, and not able the hold her.
Linda’s voice echoed in my ears.
“If you are scared of these people, then its better we put an end to it.”

“Oh, no. I’m not sacred of them.” I told her.
They all have to pay for the pain they caused me.
Linda you don’t know how badly I want them to pay.
I know she can’t hear my thoughts but she could see I wasn’t going to give up.

I stepped out of the car immediately Adams and Ella left in their car. I walked briskly to his ap@rtment and I knocked on his door. The door was opened by Willy himself with a big smile on his face. I guess
he was happy to see me.

“Come in plea-se. ” He smiled.
Slowly, I stepped inside and took my seat.

“What would you like me to offer you?” He asked.
Trying ha-rd not to look at his face.

“Anything.” I said, looking somewhere else.
He brou-ght a wine and quic-kly filled up a glas-s giving it to me

“Thanks.” I said as I gratefully collected it from him.
Sitting close to where I sat. He smiled at me. “You must have seen my name on the contact I dropped for you, but I don’t mind introducing myself to a gorgeous lady like you again.”
I almost blu-shed when I heard his voice again.
Juliana don’t get too attached. I told myself and only put on a light smile.

“I am Willy.” He said smiling. “Nice to meet you. We’re supposed to have met before.”

I bur-st out laughing at his silly introduction.
He’s always like that.

“I’m Sammy. But I really don’t remember meeting you. Do you have a twin?” I tea-sed, and he chuckled.
“You just met his twin. They call me fresh fish. I’m glad to meet you again miss Sammy.” He said and I laughed.
God! Juliana you’re smiling and laughing again.
Look how you flashed your teeth at him. Just be
careful. My mind kept telling me and I looked up to his face to see him staring at me.

“Willy!” Someone shouted outside the door, knocking.

“Just a minute plea-se.” He said walking towards the door.
