It’s been a week already and everything has been going fine except for Adel who is in the world of confusion, she kinda like Jeremy cos he’s protective while Jordan is the Caring one
She’s not leaving with Jeremy so she’s only sure of Jordan in times of caring while Jeremy is the bullet shield, Jordan, on the other hand, was released after the kidnappers found out that he wasn’t the main target so they have to let him go

“No… No way, you can’t keep two di-ck to yourself, choose one,” Margaret said and Adel rou-ghed her hair
“I dunno, they are both good,” she replied and pouted like a kid
“How about doing it this way, don’t see any of them for three days and after that Three days you just say who you missed the most,” Kate suggested and Margaret nodded
“That’s a very brilliant idea, what did you think?” Margaret said looking at Adel
“I dunno, I think I like them equal…..” That was interrupted
“And I say you can’t keep two dic-k all to yourself, did you want to die before your time, just choose one,” Margaret cut in and she gave it a quick thought
“Okay, I will come over to your place then,” Adel said and Melody approached them
“How does your brother test in bed?” Melody asked staring at Kate
They exchange glances
“Are you talking to me?” Kate asked pointing at herself
“Oh, I didn’t know that you are not only stupid but also dumb, no wonder you prefer your brother over other guys, I wonder what the press will say about this,” Melody said Kate made to slap her but Adel stopped her
“Just let her go, there are better things to worry about than her,” Adel said and Melody turned to her
“Don’t think because you’re no two here that you can talk to me anyhow, I know what you’re hiding sooner or later it will be open to the world,” Melody threatened
Margaret and Adel stared at each other and burst out laughing, they laughed so ha-rd that Melody was confused
“What’s funny? You think it’s funny?” Melody asked but they increa-sed their voice and laughed so ha-rd
Melody couldn’t stand them anymore cos they made her look stupid so walked away angrily
“I will so deal with that Kate before coming for you,” she mumbled

STEVE*
A guy comes out from the back of a van and looks around, the fresh air touches his skin and he loves everything around
“Freedom!!!”
“I am free!!” He yelled loudly and just then a car stopped beside him and he got in
They drove into a house and he hug-ged the girls that were waiting for him
“Good job girls,” he said and they laughed
“So Steve, what’s the deal now that you’re out of prison?” The first girl asked
“Ashley, when I told you that she can’t look at my face and say know I wasn’t lying, she might be powerful cos I was behind bars but now it’s freedom, ” he said and laughed so ha-rd
“So you will bring her down? What about the secret life of Adel?” Amber asked and he smi-rked
“I know where to find it, you have nothing to worry about,” he replied and they laughed
“I need a shower first and then I will pay her a visit,” Steve said going upstairs
“It’s time to shine,” Ashley and Amber said and shook hands
Their video was still treading and it’s the talk of everyone in San Francisco

Bruce was sent to a Rahab cos he won’t stop drinking and crying, he tried calling Margaret countless times but it always went straight to voicemail
All he did all day was stay in his room and drink and cry, he refused to talk to anyone and wouldn’t stop drinking, he regretted going to that bar and getting drunk, what was I thinking? Now she hates me, she will never love me! It’s all my fault, I hate myself… I hate this life!! That’s all he keeps saying every day
“Are you sure you don’t want to see him?” Adel asked Margaret who was standing by the door
“No, I think he’s better off without me,” Margaret replied and she nodded
“I will let you know how he’s doing when I am out,” she said and went
“Bruce, how are you?” She asked staring at him
“Where is Margaret?” He asked instead looking at the door
“She couldn’t make it,” Adel replied and he looked at her
“She hates me now right?” He asked and she shook her head negatively
“She doesn’t, it’s just that she doesn’t feel the same way towards you and you need to un-derstand that and come out from this place,” Adel replied and he shook his head negatively
“She used to love me but now she won’t even take my calls, I know that she hates me now,” he said and she hug-ged him instead
“Bruce you have to un-derstand that you can’t for-ce someone to love you, love is a feeling that comes from the heart,” she said and he disengaged from her hug
“I know she loves me and I can feel it, She’s just angry,” he replied And she nodded
“I un-derstand how you feel but sometimes love isn’t what we think it is,” She said and he shook his head
“Let her come in here and tell me that she doesn’t love me,” he said and Adel tou-ched her head frustrated
“She already told you that,” she replied
“She said like not the word love,” he said and she ran out of words
Meanwhile, Margaret was still listening to their conversation when her phone rang, she Checked to see an unknown number calling
She went outside and picked up the call only to see Swift, turns out he tracked her phone and he was the one that called
“Hey Margaret,” he said cheerfully
“How did you know that I was here?” She asked instead
“I… Emm… I was coming to drop something off then I decided to call and check on you since you have been avoiding me for weeks now,” he replied
“It’s not avoiding, I have been busy with work that’s all,” she replied and went over to his car then lean on it
“Even blocking my line is busy?” He asked and she looked at him
“Can we not talk about this?” she said instead
“What’s wrong? You’re acting different from the old Margaret I used to know,” Swift asked and she started walking away
He went after her and held her hand, she looked at her hand and then back at him
“I never said you could touch me,” she said and he let go of her immediately
“Am sorry, but I think we need to talk,” he replied and she shook her head
“There is nothing to talk about, I am busy,” she said walking away
“See you some other time,” she added and went back into the Rehab
She only stared throu-ghthe window as they tried to make Bruce calm down, he was really going crazy and all he was saying was that Ashley made him do it
Just then her phone rang and she checked to see Adel calling and she picked up immediately
“Can you come in here please,” Adel said over the phone immediately Margaret picked
“I can’t, am sorry,” she replied staring at them throu-ghthe gla-ss
“Margaret, he’s going crazy,” Adel added but she shook her head as if Adel can see her
I’m sorry but I can’t see him right, am going please call me when you need me,” she said and ended the call
Adel looked throu-ghthe gla-ss to see her walking away, there is nothing she can do, you can’t for-ce a lady to love someone
Margaret went into their car and scattered her hair
“what’s happening to me? He’s in pain,” she mumbled holding her head
“Maybe you should at least see him,” her subconscious mind said and she shook her head negatively
“I can’t,” she said as if talking to someone
“Just try,” her subconscious mind added
“No, you don’t get it, he’s not supposed to love me, this is all my fault, I was too close to him and we almost did everything together, I didn’t want him to love me, I want him to move on and forget about me why is it so ha-rd for him to do?” She yelled holding her head
“But he’s inside your head,” her subconscious mind said
“His not,”
“Stop being ha-rd on yourself,” her subconscious mind said
“Shut up!!! Get out of my head,” she yelled like a crazy people

A. B. C 4:00 PM*
Adel was in her office when Margaret came in
“I have good news and bad News,” Margaret said and Adel looked at her
“Bad news first, “she said
“Steve was bailed from prison, your lawyer called and said they reopen the case and the new D.A ( district attorney) Grants him bail,” she said and Adel nodded
“And what did the laws say about that?” She asked
Like is the attorney crazy or something? Why will they grant criminal bail?
“She said there is nothing they can do unless you want the case to go to trial again which means you will have to testify against him and you will bring the red box along,” she replied and Adel was silent
How can I show the world my nu-de and porn videos that they made me act? how will I explain that? Am gonna die.
“Where is Steve now?” She asked
“I have no idea,” Margaret replied gently and she kept quiet
Jeremy on the other hand was arranging some files so he heard everything
“The good news?” Adel asked
“I get your test results and it says positive which means that you’re pregnant,” Margaret replied and the flower vase Jeremy was cleaning dropped from him and shattered
It was then that they remember he was there
“Sorry I will clean it,” he quickly said and left
“How can I be so stupid to love a married woman, am an idiot, what was I thinking?” He said not knowing when tears drop from his eyes
His heart was shattered and it was as if he lost all hope, shes pregnant and didn’t even have a chance but why can’t he stop loving her even if he doesn’t want to? Why does it have to be her?
Many thoughts run into his mind but there was no answer to them
Back in the office, Adel was staring into space with her mouth wide open until Margaret tou-ched her
“Adel, did you hear what I said?” Margaret asked and she shook her head negatively
“I said you’re pregnant,” Margaret repeated and she looked at her with a confused expression
“Pregnant? Is that even a word?” She asked and Margaret nodded
“Yes, it is,” Margaret replied
“Are you sure? How come I didn’t come across it in high school or college? Are you sure that word exists?” She asked and Margaret frown
“Of course, it does exist,” Margaret replied
“But how come I have never seen it in the dictionary? What does it mean?” She added trying not to believe that it was the same word she knew
“It means that you’re having a baby,” Margaret replied and the phone she was holding fell from her and scattered
“Baby? But how?” She asked her hand on her head
“Calm down, is good news,” Margaret said
“There is nothing about it that is good …….I mean it is good news yes but what will I tell Anaconda? Whose child is it?” She said worriedly
“You mean you haven’t done it with Jordan since then?” Margaret asked and she shook her head
“Except for the one I did with Jeremy when I was on drugs, I need to see a doctor,” She said and stood up
“Don’t even think about that,” Margaret said and pushed her back to the chair
“What did I know about babies? I’m dead, what will I tell Anaconda? I need to do this, I don’t like babies,” she said and Margaret shook her head negatively
“I think you’re afraid you won’t be a good mother cos your mom left when you were five, but you have to un-derstand that you’re not your mom, it’s your child and you’re not seeing a doctor cos if you do that I will resign and go back to Africa,” Margaret said seriously
“But…..
“No but, we will do it together, you’re not your mom so you don’t always have to be afraid, we will just tell them what happened and If they can’t accept it then they should deal with it,” Margaret added
“Am scared, why is everything happening now?” She said and Margaret hug-ged her
“You don’t have to worry, you have me okay? I will godmother,” she said with a smile
“Who said you will be a godmother?” Adel asked and she frowned immediately
“I don’t need permission cos I am already a godmother, hey baby can you hear me,” she said touching her flat tummy and Adel hit her hand off
“Get your hands off me,” she said and Margaret laughed at her reaction
“Look who’s being a protective mom, when she wanted to see a doctor,” Margaret laughed so hard, and Adel frowned
“You’re not being nice,” She pouted
“I already bought a new house and hired some people to paint a nursery, one part pink, and the other part blue,” Margaret said giggling
“I love Blues,” Adel said
“I didn’t remember saying I painted a nursery for you, it’s for our baby, if it’s a girl then I Spain the whole room pink, and if it’s a boy then I will paint the whole room blue so it’s not your choice to make,” Margaret said like a mother talking to her Five years old kid
“You’re being rude right now and I think the baby needs macaroni,” Adel said with a frown
“Fine,” Margaret said hitting her head and walking off

STEVE*
“Take this one and put it in her husband’s food and this for Adel,” Steve said to the girl who was shaking
“But sir, she doesn’t always eat at home, what if she didn’t eat tonight?” The maid asked
“Prepare macaroni, no matter how big her stomach is she will never say no to macaroni and if you fail to do what I ask you to do, I will wipe your family from the surface of the earth,” He threatened and the maid swallowed nothing
“And the husband? Hope the medicine won’t kill them?” The maid asked
“Don’t think am stupid, the medicine will only make them weak and I will come and do what I want, don’t forget to add in guard cards food also,” He said and she nodded
She made to walk away but he pulled her back and grabbed her ne-ck
“Messing with me is dangerous so don’t dare me,” he sneered and released his hold on her as her breathing quickened
She coughed and nodded before going home
He went back into the car where Ashley and Amber were waiting
“Am paying them a visit tonight, let the game begin,” He said with a dangerous sm-irk
