Adel didn’t make babies with Jordan after the fainting, her father decided to give them some time but he promised them that he will be back
She was busy with work but her mind wasn’t there, no matter how she tries to concentrate she couldn’t think straight
“Am here to clean,” she heard that one voice she has been waiting for
She looked at him and he still has his bandage on, and his sister was not him
“How is your injury?” She found herself asking
“Am fine,” he replied and went over to the desk
He dropped the card she gave his sister and she stared at him
“Is it empty already, here take another one,” she said and brings another one out front of her bag
He just looked at her and shook his head
“No thank you, I can take care of my family, am not lazy,” he replied start working immediately
The fact that she kis-sed Jordan yesterday was still In his head, he won’t want to be Rude but staying in this office only makes it worse
Adel on the other hand didn’t know why he was mad
His brother doesn’t like me anyway? But why did he return the credit card? She wondered staring at him
Why did I even care? They are all snakes after all

Margaret was in the other office creating a new design when Bruce hug her from behind since she was not facing the door
She quickly pushed whoever it is away before turning to the person
“Don’t you dare hug……” The rest was stuck in her mouth and her face changed when she saw Bruce
“Margaret, what happened? Are you alright?” he asked and she looked away
Hoping that Margaret was who he make out with last night, his joy knows no bounds but right now she’s acting different

“Margaret, you’re not saying anything,” he added and she looked at him with a weak smile
“It’s nothing, am fine… I just have a lot of work to do,” she replied and face her work
“No, you always react positively when am around, we use to talk freely but now is different, is it because of what happened yesterday? I thought you liked it,” he said and she stood up
I like it? that you called me to listen to your m-oans! Gosh, what’s wrong with people? She thought silently
“I need some air, I will be back,” she said and left
He was confused, what the hell is going on? He went to Adel’s office
“Sis, can we talk?” He asked and she nodded
“Why is Margaret mad at me?” He asked and Adel looked at him
“I dunno, what did you do? She hardly gets angry, did she tell you that she’s angry?” Adel asked and he shook his head
“No, but we make out yesterday I can still remember she told me that she loves me also and now she doesn’t even want to talk to me again,” he replied and rou-ghhis head
“Maggi was with me all night, so Which Maggi are you talking about?” She asked and he looked at her
“Am Serious right now, she told me that she loved what we did and that we can do that more often,” He added and Adel stood up
She went into Margaret’s office and got her phone, she went to the audio and play a record
“Listen and tell me if that looks like her voice and why you will be making love and she will record it,” Adel said and Bruce hold his head
He listened carefully till the very end and stormed out of the place immediately burning with rage

he went straight to the bar and demanded their Camara, even though he heard Ashley’s voice he wanted to be sure
The securities deny his request and he threatened to sue them so they didn’t have any other choice but to show it to him
He watches everything as teardrop from his eyes
“My sister, I fuc-ked my sister thinking she’s my crush,” he said trying ha-rd not to break down

Kate sat alone in a room drinking, no matter how she drink she won’t get drunk and she won’t get tired
She wanted to talk to someone but who? She is tied and wants to quit but she can’t even do that cos she’s trapped
Am tired of being hunted, my conscience is beating me up, and I wanna quit but I can’t, but am trapped with him forever. I dunno what to do again cos my conscience is killing me,” she said to herself
“Are you alright?” Someone asked from behind but she was lost in thought that she didn’t hear it
The person sat beside her and then gently crossed a hand on her shoulder, she turned and stared at the person
“Adel,” she called upon seeing the face
“Yes, mind telling me why you’re crying?” She asked and Kate burst out crying
“Am so sorry, please will you ever forgive me?” Kate said and Adel nodded
“My heart is too precious to hold grudges against anyone, so tell me,” she replied and Kate nodded
“I use to hate you so much cos you were good at everything, in Modeling it was you, in fashion, it was you, in good shape and curvy body it was you, in beautiful it was you, everyone wanted you, everyone also loves you so much, Margaret, Bruce all of them,” she cleans the tears in her eyes
“I became jealous, I was so jealous that I couldn’t think straight, I fuc-ked my half cousin because I wanted him to help me get a higher place in modeling and he did, now I don’t want to continue fuc-king him anymore, my conscience is beating me, Adel I don’t have peace, peace is fear away from me, and he won’t live me,” she cried tears streaming down her cheeks
“It’s alright since you have repented, I know of all these things, I knew you were fuc-king your brother and I knew that you were pretending to be my friend so I have to pretend too,” she replied gently and Kate looked at her
“You knew?” She asked, her eyes widen
Adel smiles lightly
“I have seen you both twice, but I like minding my business, by the way, someone is here to see you,” Adel added and Tom came in
“Tom,” she called surprised
“Cute cute Kate,” he called and she smiled
“Wait, did you hear everything I said right now? And how did you….” That was interrupted cos he placed a finger on her li-ps
“It’s okay, I heard everything and I did an investigation cos my brother is a cop so you don’t have to be afraid of Simon anymore, you should have told someone earlier than allowing him to use you like that,” Tom said and she looked down
“Am sorry, I was scared, what if he tells the whole world that I stri-p nak*d before him and asked him to fuc-k me just because I wanted to become no 1 in the modeling agency,” Kate whimpered
“I will leave you two,” Adel said and left, she met Margaret by the door
“Let’s go,” she said and they walk out
“Where to?” Margaret asked
“Home, I need to see Ashley,” she replied

THE BENSON MANSION*
Bruce entered the house filled with rage and his eyes landed on Ashley who sat on the couch
Getting closer to him he grabbed her clothes and throw her across the couch and she landed on her bu-tt
“Ouch, Bruce,” she shouted in pain
He went closer and grabbed her ne-ck then slapped her ha-rd across the face, he slapped her again on her left cheek before throwing her on the floor again
“Argh!!” She cried out
He started walking towards her and she started shifting back, the person she was seeing now was different from the little brother she knows
What the hell is wrong with him?
He get to her hand grabbed her clothes then tire them right before her eyes, Mrs. Benson who heard the noise and rushed downstairs saw the scan and her jaw dropped
“Bruce!” She yelled at him but he didn’t turn to even spare her a glance
He grabbed Ashley’s ne-ck and start choking her as she struggles to breathe, she kick and hit him but none seem to affect him
“Look what you made me do, are you happy now?” He yelled and slapped her ha-rd in her face again
His mother was too scared to even get close, she has never seen this side of him before, what could make him like this?
“Look what you turn me into, Ashley am your brother… Am your flesh and blood, why? Just why?” He yelled and made to grab her again but another hand stopped him
Ashley was bleeding from her nose and she looked terrified, she has a de-eper cut on her li-ps and cheeks
“Sis, she made me do it, I was drunk I didn’t know what I was doing,” He said with tears
“I thought…… It thought…” He stopped when he saw Margaret by the door but she went out immediately
“Margaret,” he called and run after her, she was about to enter her car when he get to her and hold her hand
“Margaret, please am sorry, I swear I didn’t know what I was doing, she made me do it, I can never do anything that will hurt you,” he said but she kept quiet
“Margaret please say something, am sorry I was drunk and I didn’t…
“Am not mad at you, you can do anything you want with your life we are not dating anyway, it was just kinda weird, but I un-derstand now” she said but he didn’t un-derstand a Thing
“Margaret, I love….” She didn’t let him finish the part
“Bruce, you didn’t have to beat your sister, it’s against the law, you hit your sister today, and tomorrow you will hit your woman… am afraid we can’t date, I like you as a brother, not as a man,” She said and free his hold on her hand then went into the car and zoom off
Bruce sat on the floor as tears stream down, he hold his head that won’t stop spinning
Inside the house
Adel went to Ashley who was still trying to recover from the beating Bruce gave him, before Ashley could run away from her a very thun-derous slap landed on her cheeks and everything went black
“Argh,” Ashley screamed in agonizing
“I can’t see, mom!!!” She yelled loudly
Adel grabbed her head and hit it on the floor, Ruth rushed to them immediately and take Ashley away from her
“How dare you touch my baby you daughter of a slut?” Ruth asked and slapped her immediately
She didn’t even react to the slap, she glared at Ruth and her daughter before storming out
Getting outside she met Bruce who was laying unconscious on the floor
“Bruce,” she called and rushed to him and check
She called Margaret immediately and it wasn’t long before she arrived

HOSPITAL*
“Please tell me that he will be fine,” Adel asked panicking
“We can’t tell until he wakes up, only then can we run tests on him,” the doctor replied and she nodded
“Can we see him?” Margaret asked but the doctor shook his head
“No visitors until tomorrow,” the doctor replied and she nodded

JORDAN AND ADEL’S HOUSE*
“Pretty lady,” Sasha called immediately she went in and she furrow her brow, and looked around
Am I in the wrong house?” She wondered and looked around
“You’re back,” she heard Jordan’s voice and turned to him
Sasha was still hugging her ti-ghtly and she gave Jordan that what the h*ll is this look
“Oh, I went to pick you up and I saw her crying there, she said she was looking for a pretty lady and the securities didn’t let her in so I asked her what this pretty lady looks like and she pointed at the face of A.B.C, so I took her in but you wasn’t around and we waited but you didn’t come back, I asked her to go but she said she wanted to see the pretty lady so I have to bring her here,” Jordan said more like a gentleman
Adel looked at Sasha who was now eating and back to Jordan, she grabbed his hand and went inside
“Are you high? How can you bring someone’s child in here? Did you want them to tag you a kidnapper?” She asked staring at him
“So you cared about me after all,” he said and she rolled her eyes and start walking away
He quickly grabbed her hand and pulled her back swiftly making her hand land in his che-st, she made to move back but he hold her wai-st
“Why are you avoiding me?” He asked but she was silent
“Am I that bad? You said yesterday that I put it in the wrong hole when I didn’t even do anything,” he said and she looked at him
“Of course you did, you put it in the wrong hole,” she replied and frown
“It was only the tip, not the full d***…
“Tip went wrong,” she cut in
why don’t you want me to touch you? Just tell me why and I will not bother you again,” he said and she looked away
“Adel,” he called and she didn’t say anything, slowly turn her head turn to face him, he was still holding her wai-st
He leaned closer to kis-s her and just when their li-ps were about to touch someone called from behind
“Pretty lady,” Sasha called and Jordan let go of her
She looked at Sasha not able to say a single word until the girl speak up
“I think my brother is here, I saw him,” she said pointing at the TV Jeremy was truly outside looking around
“Let me take her to him,” Jordan said but she hold Sasha’s hand
“I will go instead,” she replied and they Went out

“Jem,” Sasha called happily and jumped on him
“I was so worried about you, all thanks to Margaret,” he said and slowly put her down then turn to Adel
“Thank you, pretty lady,” he said and she hug-ged him instead
Is she trying to put me in trouble or what? What if her husband is at home? Lord of mercy,” Jeremy thought silently
Jordan, on the other hand, was coming for her when he saw the scan, his blood boiling with rage and he clenched his fist ti-ghtly and start going toward them
“Oh, am sorry,” Adel said and disengage from the hug
“I will just… I should go back inside,” she said and turn to leave but he hold her hand making her stop
He took a few steps closer and she could hear her heart beating so loud, he lifted her chin and made to kis-s her but Jordan’s voice stop him
“You come into my house and hug-ged my wife and now you want to kis-s her too?” Jordan sneered and before Jeremy could say word he…..
