Jeremy tou-ched his bleeding mouth glaring at Jordan
“I said where is she? Where is my wife,” Jordan sneered and punched him again
He staggered back and fold his fist angrily but then he remembered that his brother is sick, fighting Jordan will only make him lose his job and he don’t want that
He gritted his teeth and made to walk away when Jordan grip his collar and sent punches to his face, he tried fighting him off but he continues punching till Jeremy lost it and punched him back
Just then Mr. Benson came in, he was informed about the situation so he has to come and settle the fight, he looked at Jeremy and then at Jordan
“Who is this guy?” He asked looking around till his eyes landed on Margaret who was just coming in with Bruce
“Oh, my what happened?” Margaret asked no one in particular seeing how badly Jeremy’s face was bleeding
“Who is this guy?” Mr. Benson asked again now staring at Margaret
“He’s the new cleaner sir,” she replied with her head bowed
“You’re fired,” he said and turned to live but Jeremy rushed to him immediately
“Sir please, I will never try that again, please I need this job,” he pleaded
“You should have thought of that before fighting your boss’s husband, get him out of my sight,” Mr. Benson added and the security went over to him
“Don’t touch me, just because am poor? He punched me first, can’t you see my face?” Jeremy yelled
They grabbed him and threw him outside, and everyone just watch without doing anything, shortly after Margaret went outside to see him leaning on a car
“Hey, are you alright?” She asked gently
“How can I be alright when I just lost the job that will pay for my brother’s medical bill, I can’t even buy food for my sister,” he said and rou-ghhis head
“Am sorry, but why did you Punch Jordan?” She asked
“That crazy dude punched me first, he punch me more than twice and I couldn’t take it anymore, besides I didn’t know that he was my boss’s husband, I hate all rich people… She has a husband and yet she made me do what I didn’t want to do, now look where it lead me, and to say that she even pushed me out like I was nothing,” he said, she could see the anger in his eyes
“Calm down okay? But what did you do? Did you know where she is?” She asked and he nodded
“There is a room in her office, she’s in there, and to say that she made me fuc-k her when she has a husband isn’t that crazy,” he said and Margaret arched her brow
“Are you kidding?” She asked
“Did I look like I am?” He replied rudely
“I mean it’s been three years now and she always avoids men, even her husband hasn’t tou-ched her but she allowed you to, was she drunk or something?” Margaret said and he rolled his eyes
“As if I care, I just lost my job,” he said and stood
“Don’t worry I will talk to her and you will get your job back,” Margaret replied and he looked at her
“What about that man? Who is he?” He asked
“That’s Mr. Benson, the CEO of A.B.C,” she replied gently
“What’s A.B.C?” He didn’t help but asked
“A for Adel, B for Benson, and C for Catherine, Catherine is Adel’s mother but she’s not here,” she replied and he nodded
“I should go see my brother,” he said and she nodded
“Need a ride? I can drop you off,” she said but she shook his head negatively
“I will be fine,” he replied and she nodded
She brings out a card from her purse and hands it over to him
“That’s my card, call me tomorrow,” she said and he nodded and left
Bruce just stood in a corner watching them till Jeremy left, he fold his fist angrily when they shook hands

1:20 AM
MIDNIGHT*
Adel was on the rooftop watching the beautiful view of the city when Jordan approach her, she was lost in thought that she didn’t know when he came close to her
“Hey,” he said and she flinched and hold her che-st
“You scared me, what are you doing here?” She asked staring at him
“I went to your room but you weren’t there so I have to look for you all around the house till I find you here,” he replied and she nodded
“Why are you looking for me?” She asked and he smiles
“You’re my wife,” he replied and she looked away
“You should go to bed,” she said but he went closer
“Why are you up so late,” he asked
“I will go to bed now,” she replied and made to walk away but he blocked her
Is he high or something? He better not try anything funny.

“Not Interested,” she cut in
“Trust me you will like it,” he said and hold her wai-st
She didn’t say anything as she just watch him
“Raise your leg a little,” he said and she did just what he said
“If this is what am thinking then I will not take it lightly with you?” She said and he chuckled
“Relax and raise your other leg,” he said and she shook her head negatively
“I will fall,” she replied and he laughed
They were now standing at the edge of the roof with her right leg in the little block hanging on the rooftop, if she stand there with her other leg she will fall
“Just do it you will not fall,” he replied and she reluctantly agreed and raise her other leg
“Close your eyes and spread your arms, then imagine that you’re flying,” he added and she did as she was told he wrapped his hand around her wai-st so that she won’t fall
“Now open your eyes,” he said and she did
“Wow, am flying,” she said with a smile
“Told you,” He asked
He hold her like that as the wind blew on them, her hair was shiny and he couldn’t help but admire her, he was lost staring at her that he nearly forget that she was standing at the edge of the roof
“Jordan,” she shouted when she noticed that his hand around her wai-st has loosen and she nearly falls
He quickly pulled her back making her hand land on his che-st, their faces were so close, they stare at each other for some time before he started leaning in
He was about to kis-s her when she turns to her head to the left side and he kis-sed her cheeks instead
“I should go to bed,” she said and left him standing there
Jordan just watched her leave without saying anything, and shortly he went down also

NEXT DAY* THE HOSPITAL*
Eden has been discharged from the hospital and Jeremy was there
“Why aren’t you going to work?” Eden asked staring at Jeremy
He kept quiet
“Don’t tell me you get fired,” He said and Jeremy still didn’t say anything
“What did you do?” Eden yelled and Jeremy ended up telling him everything
“You f**cked your boss and fight her husband? can you listen to yourself, who’s gonna hire you now?” Eden yelled
“She asked me to do it and her husband punched me first, besides I didn’t know that she was married,” Jeremy defend
“I knew it, the moment you come back the other day when you were still working at a bar and told me that you get into a fight with a rich guy and also called a lady peanut, I knew that something was up, Jeremy you promise,” Eden yelled and he rou-ghhis head
“Maybe I liked her then but not anymore, It was love at first sight that’s why I couldn’t stop myself even though I didn’t want to interfere,” he replied gently
“You should listen to yourself, Love at first sight when you’re poor! did you think there is anything like love at first sight for the poor? Am dying Jeremy, am sick and the only thing you could think of is f**cking your boss and fighting her husband, bravo!!” Eden yelled and Jeremy slapped him immediately
“Don’t you dare talk to me that way,” he yelled back
“Oh really? Now I know that you don’t even care, am sick and dying and my brother that is supposed to care for me is busy f**cking his boss and fighting the husband, the same person that couldn’t give you a million dollars when you asked of it, I hate you,” Eden yelled going out
“Eden, I will fix this, I will find another job,” he said going after him
“I need action not spoken words, I lost my job the moment they found out that you were my brother, now we can’t even buy food and the only people you should love right now are me and Sasha cos we are your responsibility, not some rich people that don’t even care, what am I even saying you don’t care if I live or die anyway,” Eden yelled blinking back tears that clouded in his eyes
“Eden,” Jeremy called
“Am going to find a job, I don’t care if I die while working and I don’t want to see you near me again cos I hate you, mum was right, you’re nothing but a loser and a waste of time,” Eden said and Jeremy blocked his way
“Am not a loser am trying, she was in pain…
“I’m in pain, did you know what it looks like to know that you will die, is it because you’re not the one that is sick? I should have known that you wanted me dead anyway,” he added and grabbed Sasha’s hand
“From now henceforth he’s no longer our brother,” he said and she only cried
“Eden, you can’t take her with you,” Jeremy said going over to them
“Try stopping me, just try,” Eden replied
Knowing that Eden can do something crazy when his angry Jeremy just watches them leave without doing anything
He bring out the card Margaret gave him and called her line, after speaking to her for a while he hang up and walked away

HIGHWAY*
“So you almost kis-sed your husband last night, the same day you slept with your worker who get fired?” Margaret asked
“He tried to kis-s me don’t twist it,” she corrected and Margaret nodded
“Okay, but why didn’t you let him?” She asked shrugged
“I don’t know but the only person I was thinking of was Jeremy, like what happened yesterday and why I asked him to do it and how he did it, he was danm big,” she replied and Margaret laughed
“And you were like ” oh yes… Give it to me… Yes, Jeremy… fuc-k… har-der ….. Yes right there….. You’re getting it… Yes, baby… OMG… Am coming,” she said laughing so ha-rd and Adel hit her head
“Ouch,” she laughed loudly and Adel started hitting her again
“You purposely give me that drink right? So that I will fuc-k that guy,” Adel said and Margaret stopped laughing
“I already told you that I have nothing to do with the drink, I was discussing with this guy when the bar attender gave it to me, did you think I can ever drug you? I love you too much,” Margaret replied and Adel just signed
Adel was about to talk when she saw Sasha by the roadside with a boy who was laying unconscious on the floor
“Stop,” she suddenly said and Margaret packed by the roadside
She came down and walked towards her, Sasha rushed and hug-ged her ti-ghtly upon seeing her not Minding her dirty clothes
“My brother is dying, I don’t want him to go to heaven,” she sobbed and Adel looked at the boy that was still laying unconscious
People has already started taking pictures as Margaret went over to the boy, she signals another person to help her and they carried the boy to their back seat
No one knows how the paparazzi get the information cos they were already approaching, she carried Sasha up and hurried into the car before they could get to her
“That was close,” she released a de-eper breath

HOSPITAL*
“So will he be better?” Adel asked the doctor who nodded
“He was lucky to be brou-ght here on time, if not he would have been dead,” the doctor replied and she nodded
“So what now?” She asked
“They are preparing him for surgery, the tumor will be removed soon,” the doctor replied
“Is my brother gonna die?” Sarah asked with tears
“No, he’s gonna be just fine, okay?” She said and Sasha nodded
“Now can you smile for me,” She added and Sasha pouted
“Am hungry,” Sasha said with a sad face
She brings out a card from her purse and hands it over to her
“That’s my credit card, you can buy anything you want with it,” she said and her face lit up
“Really? Can I buy big food?” Sasha asked and she smiled lightly
“More than enough food and I want you to do something for me,” She said and Sasha looked at her
“Anything,”
“Don’t tell your brother that I have anything to do with your brother’s medical bill, okay?” She said but Sasha raise her brow
“But why? He’s gonna be happy,” Sasha said but she only smiles
“Just tell him that is anonymous,” she replied and Sasha nodded
“I should get going now, I come back later okay? Be a good girl,” she replied left

OMEGA STUDIO*
“Tom wait” Kate shouted as he walked away angrily without looking back
She went back to Simon and gave him a resounding slap
“Did you vow to make my life miserable?” She snapped and he hold his cheeks
“I love you, Kate,” he replied instead
“While then love someone else, don’t you get it? I don’t feel that way towards you, it’s very simple why are you trying to make my life a leaving hell,” she yelled
“I can’t watch you date someone else,” he replied and she scoffed
“Why do you want me to tell the whole world that we f**cking fuc-ked, fine I will do just that,” she said going and he went after her
“Kate please don’t do that,” he said holding her hand
“I regret the day I met you, I wish that day never come,” she replied and yanked his hand off
Turns out Simon Punch tom twice just because he was talking and laughing with Kate
“Are you f**cking your sister?” Melody asked approaching him, he looked at her and walked off without saying anything
“These two are acting suspicious, I need to keep a close eye on them,” she mumbled as she watch him leave
“I hope is not what am thinking cos I won’t think twice before expo-sing them,” she added and follow Simon
