Mike, Phil, Rick and Dan sat in a private room at Mike’s club chatting and laughing with Jake over the phone.

“So the legendary bed humper has become a woman keeper. What has the world turned into?” Mike asked with a teasing smile.

“Get lost” Jake chuckled.

“It’s good he’s no longer hanging out with us. I mean I can now get a fair share of the ladies, thanks Jake. You should have found your girl sooner” Rick added making Jake shake his head at him in disbelief, while Dan and Phil laughed.

“Never knew you were jealous of him. That’s cheap man” Mike laughed. Well it was true that Jake always got all the attention of ladies whenever they were together. Even their own girls would always had their eyes on him, hoping he’d call them over, and even if he as much as winked at them, they’d happily jump into his arms without no care for who had brou-ght them. But they were all used to it. It was his gift, who would argue with him.

Rick glared at the laughing duo, “What’s funny? Acting like you aren’t happy about it.” He eyed them, before turning to Jake.

“This fools are even more happier than I am, that they don’t have to share with you anymore. They’re just traitors” He glared at Phil and Mike, but not Dan, since Dan was already married. That dude was the first to leave their clan.

“No one shared women with Jake. Girl’s run away from you because unlike Jake who’s a plea-sure giving demon and a se-xpert who knows how to give them what they want, you’re just a se-xdemon, a masochist, who likes fetish stuff. Dude the girls are just scared of your craziness” Phil told him making Rick glare at him even more.

“I don’t do fetish stuff okay” Rick refuted while Dan snickered.

“Tell that to your Christian grey mini se-xtolls you have stuck in your wardrobe” Dan hissed, while the others chuckled.

“I don’t do fetish stuff! Those things are just for se-xual plea-sures” He gruffed.

“Yours or theirs?” Phil asked, tilting a brow.

“His of course” Mike answered amusedly making Rick scowl at him.

“Theirs and mine!” He refuted, while the rest nodded their head for agreement sake, as they tried not to laugh at him.

“Yeah, we agree” Dan replied in a sarcastic tone, as they all chuckled at the grumpy man.

“Okay that’s enough about Rick.” Phil said as he turned to look at the tab.

“Jake how’s your little goddess? She’s doing you well I suppose?” Phil asked with a mischievous wink.

“Just shut up” Jake shot him a mock glare, while Phil rolled his eyes. “Hiding details now are we? You’ve simply become a live struck fool.” Phil shook his head.

“Well I don’t mind, as long as it’s for her” Jake replied with cheeky smile.

“Okay that’s enough. We don’t appreciate cheesy stuff” Mike eyed him.

“Jake, so because you’ve found love you’ve decided to leave us and not hang out anymore right? Man you’re worst than a traitor. Even Dan hangs out with us and guess what, he’s married” Rick hissed at him making Jake smile.

“His wife is not being lenient with him, my girl will burn Mike’s club down if I step in there without her. She’s watchful of her man.”

“Newsflash, you’re not married” Mike told him.

“Well for now, but for long” He said with a suggestive smile which caught all their attention.

They all gasped, “No way!” Phil exclaimed.

“Yes way, she said yes” He wriggled his brow at them.

“You…”

“Cheeky bastard” Rick completed Phil’s sentence for him, as they looked at Jake with disbelief.

“You proposed?” Phil asked in disbelief.

“Not really. I’m still missing a ring and an engagement pa-rty. So let’s say it was a pre-proposal” He replied smilingly. The thought of going down on one knee with a ring in his hand as he asks Jade to marry him was making him giddy. He couldn’t wait to make her his, and have her with him at all times.

“Congrats bro” Daniel congratulated him, while the others still looked stunned. Jake chuckled when he saw them like that.

“You guys look stupid” Jake laughed. He hasn’t seen them this stunned before.

“That was fast” Mike exclaimed in disbelief.

“So wait, you really want to get married, like Dan?” Rick asked pointing at Dan who sma-ck ed his hand away from him, while Jake nodded his head.

“Woah, I never saw that coming” Phil exhaled as he gulped his drink down. “But I guess congratulations are in order. Congrats bro” Phil said with a smile. He had not really expected Jake to go into marriage so soon, but he was happy for him.

“I guess you’re–” Mike slurred when someone knocked on the door and stepped in. It was his club manager.

“What is it?” Mike asked in annoyance.

“Boss, Marcus is here” The man reported.

“Again?!” Mike frowned.

“Yes boss”

The other’s looked at each other as they tried to know who he was talking about. The change in his countenance told them who this Marcus guy was, he was definitely bad news.

“Which Marcus?” Jake inquisitively inquired. “Creepy guy from college who has a gang?” He knew one Marcus that was capable of making someone look like that.

“Yeah” Mike sighed deflatedly. “The guy is just a pain in the @$$. He keeps coming here.. to pester me” Mike hissed out in frustration.

“What does he want?” Jake asked.

“I don’t know man. Same stuff he keeps talking about since college”

“Hanging out with us?” Rick asked with incredulity.

“Does he think we’re in one sort of fraternity or what? Why is he so keen on hanging with us?” Phil asked.

“If I had known you’ll ask me, I’d have asked him” Mike sighed in annoyance.

“And he keeps talking about some weird stuff, like making some investment and wanting to buy some shares–” Mike stopped talking when they all burst out in laughter.

“Investing? On what? Organ trafficking or drugs?” Phil asked amid laughter.

“Maybe in weapons and in this case Mike’s club” Rick added as they continued to laugh.

Jake couldn’t help but laugh too. Hearing someone like Marcus use the word investment, sounded like Satan asking God to celebr-ate his birthday in heaven and invite him there. No, it was way worse than that.

“Well you should steer clear that guy. He’s father might be reputable man but the guy is damaged” Jake warned after the laughter died down while Mike nodded.

“I’ll be back” He announced before leaving the room.

“Let him go solve that” Phil said before returning his attention back to Jake.

“So Jake how many stri-ppers for you bachelor pa-rty?” He inquired making Jake glare at him.

“How about a gazillion” Jake said sarcastically.

When Mike stepped into the main club down stairs, the manager pointed him to the direction of the man who was drinking at the VIP lounge with some men sitting around him. His usual silver hair was eye catching as ever. The dark aura emanating from him was enough to let people know he was dangerous.

Mike took a de-ep breath as he approached them. How he hated this guy.

“Mikey” The man chirped when he saw Mike approach him.

“It’s Mike and not Mikey” Mike drawled, while the man shrugged.

“Mikey is better. As a buddy I should give you a name that suits you”

“You’re not my buddy. Marcus tell me why you’re here again?” Mike said in a weary tone. He didn’t like handling this man. He always ends up with a headache whenever he talks to him.

“You’re my buddy, buddy. Where are the others? They didn’t come? I wanted to hang out with you guys today” He tsked. “What a shame” He added feigning a sad tone which made Mike roll his eyes at him.

“They didn’t come. Now if you can, please leave. You create too much trouble and I don’t want that here today” The man would always cause a scene whenever he was here. He’d either for-cefully claim someone’s girl, or he’ll pick a fight with someone and have his boys trash the person out.

Feigning a sad look, he pouted his li-ps, “Mikey, that’s a bad thing to say to your pal. I don’t create trouble. They’re the ones who try to start a fight, not me” He complained like he has been wronged.

Mike felt like punching his face at the moment, but he remembered that wouldn’t be in his favour as this was his business place and the man in question was a psychopath.

“Fine then leave already. Don’t you have a job to do? No consignment to chip? No gang fight or somebody to kill? Just go do something else and get out of my club man” Mike told him in a harsh tone but the man only smiled.

“Mikey you’re not being fair. I’m your friend–”

“You’re not my friend” Mike refuted. If his father as much as heard he was familiar with this dude, he could as well consider his club gone and his position at the company approved. The last thing he wanted right now was to leave his luxurious life behind to go work in a company. Marcus had a bad reputation, many people knew what he does but couldn’t say anything about it, because even the police was yet to do something about him.

Marcus sighed, “Just be polite, it the least you can do. And no I don’t have a job today. I’m just here to relax and–” The man slurred when few of his surbordinates walked in and lolled themselves beside him.

The man turned to them with a frown forming on his face, “Why are you sitting here? Can’t you see I’m talking to my best friend? Move” The man drawled.

“Boss there’s a small job for tonight” One of the surbordinates whispered into his ears.

“What kind?” Marcus asked.

“Errm, boss my type” The man smiled, one which Mike found to be very creepy. They were all the same, creepy and disgusting set of people.

“Let me see” He stretched his hand towards him, before turning towards Mike who looked highly irritated. He shrugged, a mocking pout on his li-ps as he wriggled his brows in a pla-yful manner. Mike eyed him in return and the man chuckled.

“Boss here” The surbordinate placed the money and the phone in his hand. Marcus took a look at the money and tossed it back towards his subordinate. “Keep it, It’s yours”

He didn’t like getting involved with these petty jobs. These kinds were what his boys liked more, so he let them be, but he calls the shot. His reputation was on the line and he wouldn’t want them to ruin his life’s work. So they knew it was better to consult with him first. He’d never deny his boys of their thri-ll.

Marcus looked at the picture of the girl on the screen and he smiled.

“She’s pretty, I like her. Too bad someone wants to harm such a beauty” He hissed before turning to Mike who was still standing there, with a very irritated look in his eyes.

Marcus smiled, and raised the phone to him, “What do you think? Isn’t she fine? She’ll make a fine mistress right?” He asked with a very disturbing look in his eyes. Mike wondered how someone like this had actually been born. A miscarriage would have saved the world of this stress and saved him from having to deal with him every now and then.

Mike glared at him and the phone which had the picture of a lady on it. He hissed in annoyance, “Marcus just get out of my club. You have ten minutes” He said before turning to leave.

Marcus tsked, “Mike you’re so boring. You, Jake and the others nee-d me in your life to spice it up” He yelled from behind him gaining the attention of the people who had been oblivious of his presence, and the moment they did, they stood up and left.

No one wanted to deal with crazy.

Mike ignored him and walked ahead. He had to admit that the lady on that phone was pretty, and for some reason she looked very familiar. Maybe she was one of the girls he had been with, he didn’t know. But he quickly shrugged it off his mind, and made his way back to the private room.

When he walked back in, the guys were still talking to Jake on the phone.

“Is he gone?” Phil asked.

“Not really. But that guy is crazy. Calling me Mikey. I seriously hate that guy” Mike said as he plonked himself on the sofa and snatched the drink from Dan’s hand, chu-gging it down his throat, while the other chuckled.

“He wants to put me out of business. I really hate him. Jake help me get rid of him” He pleaded.

“Why me? What happened to you?” Jake asked with an accusing tone.

“Because you know how to deal with stuff like this”

“Well I don’t. Go fix your problem, as for me I have an engagement to plan and a Cinderella stepmother to get rid of, my plate is full”

‘Engagement?’

Mike sat up straight when he heard the word engagement. It sort of triggered a memory in his head. The girl he had just seen on that phone was….

“fu-ck !” He cussed as he je-rked up to his feet, making the others look at him with concern.

“Jake get your fu-ck ing @$$ here, your girl’s in trouble” He yelled as he dashed outside the room in full speed.

Jake was shocked by that outburst. He looked at the others who were still as shocked as him.

“What the hell is going on?” Jake asked confusedly, as he stared at his friends. His heart was already beating off the roof.

“Get up here man” Phil said before hanging up and walking out of the room with the others.
__________

*At the Concert*

Jade and Amy, were both having the best time of their lives, as they listened to Ethan perform on stage. It was so magical, and see the thousands of people who had actually come to watch him perform live, Amy couldn’t be more proud of him. He had done well for himself in such a short period of time. The whole auditorium was dark except for the flash lights of the thousands of phones that were on all over the auditorium, giving it a starry ovation, while Ethan sang, ‘I still love you’

“Are you crying?” Amy asked when she heard sniffling noises coming from Jade.

Bobbing her head up and down, Jade replied, “Yes. I just love this song, and last night Jake and I danced to it. It was so R0m-ntic I didn’t want it to end. It’s so sad i won’t get to hear such songs from Ethan again” She said, sobbing softly.

Amy looked at Jade in disbelief as she shook her head, “You never cease to amaze, Jade Peterson”

“It’s not my fault, he’s such a good singer. He makes me emotional with his songs” Jade sniffled as she wiped her tears with the tissue Amy p@$$ed to her.

“Okay, just stop crying. I agree he’s good but you can’t cry for another man. I wonder what your boyfriend will say when he hears this” Amy patted her, while Jade glared at her.

“Just shut up” She eyes her.

“Tch, what a cry baby” Amy teased.

They both watched all Ethan’s performance, and Jade couldn’t help but feel sad that Ethan would be taking a walk from the music industry. He was too good. He had produced some really good music.

Soon Jade excused herself to use the restroom, she has been so pressed for a while now and she couldn’t bear it any longer.

“Should I come with you?” Amy asked.

“No, I’ll be back soon. Just stay here and wait for me” Jade told her. She didn’t see the nee-d of Amy accompanying her to the restroom. She wasn’t going to go missing. Thanks to the special tickets Ethan had given them, they weren’t among the hu-ge crowd of people. They had been given a sp-ot which was so close to the stage and a only a very few number of people were there.

Had they been among the hu-ge crowd, Jade was sure she would have had to rele-ase herself on the sp-ot, but now it was so much easier. Perks of knowing a celebrity! Hehehe.

“Okay be quick” Amy said.

“Sure I will” Jade replied before walking towards the nearest exit door. She asked around and she was directed to the ladies room down the walkway. Jade was surprised when she saw a line of people waiting to carry out their business.

She closed her eyes frustratedly at the long line. She made a head count and she almost p@$$ed out.

‘Fifteen??! Fifteen people before she uses the restroom. How perfect!’

Jade waited impatiently for her turn. Each second felt like an hour and she was about to pee on herself when her turn finally came.

“Ahh” She mo-aned out in relief as she eased off the load from her bladder. She had never felt better.

When Jade stepped out of the bathroom, she was surprised to find the queue which had been there before, gone.

“What happened?” She asked herself as she looked around, but there was no one there. That’s strange. There was a long line of girls waiting out here minutes ago.

Jade quickly shrugged it off, and made her way back to the auditorium. She didn’t want to take longer than expected so Amy wouldn’t worry and come looking for her.

She hadn’t taken more than ten steps when she heard someone call her name, “Jade”

She paused when she heard that. She looked behind her but there was no one.

“That’s weird” She said to herself.

Jade turned to look ahead and continue on her strides back to the auditorium, when someone suddenly appeared right in front of her.

“Hello sweetheart” He said with a creepy smile.
