And, it is when his phone started to ring.
“These calls are really annoying” he gr-unted as his hands searched for his mobile on the table and then switched it off.
Brina worriedly looked at the mobile but was soon got distracted when Louis started his relentless torture again.
After a few minutes, her phone started to ring, making Louis grit his teeth.
He is about to switch it off but Brina stopped him.
“I..it co..could be so…mething.. important” she stuttered, her face red and her voice hoarse.
“You were getting calls every night, and were they important?? No, it’s just your friends” Louis said, his finger already pressed the switch off bott-om in her phone.
“I am trying to match Katherine and James” Brina protested.
They have been calling her for a week. They started seeing each other recently.
“Are they more important than me?” Louis asked, holding her chin as he bit her lower li-p.
Brina’s eyes teared up in pain but, that was not at all more when compared to the teasing she was doing.
She is more devilish than him…
When she shook her head horizontally, Louis chuckled devilishly. “Good. Now, concentrate on the most important responsibility of yours” he said.
….
“Damn, they are not answering and now, it’s switched off” Edgar sighed.
“I have to trouble George tonight.” he purses his li-ps before making a call to his friend.
….
Louis just finished wiping his wife’s body with a damp cloth and he was about to go to take a shower when the guards outside the house informed the maids in the house that Brina’s father arrived.
When the maid knocked on the door, Louis was about to kis-s his wife’s stomach but it ruined because of the hurried knocks.
“WHAT?!” Louis asked as soon as he opened the door.
He is in the flow of loving his wife and it got disturbed.
“Sorry, sir. It’s Madam’s father. He is waiting outside” she said.
No one could enter the building premises without his approval. It could be Brina’s dad or his dad. No one.
Louis frowned.
“Let him in quickly and make sure he is comfortable. And, get him a hot coffee in the meantime” he ordered.
It’s raining outside and it’s so cold. So, coffee would warm him up and in that time he had to take a quick shower.
He is already sweating and his little brother is not yet satiated.
Maid nodded her head and quickly ran away.
After that Louis took a shower, kis-sed his wife’s li-ps and then went downstairs.
He knew it was not any health issue related to Brina’s mother, who is in a coma. If it is that urgent her father would have called Layla first and made the arrangements before asking her to inform the guards to inform his son in law and daughter about it, rather than making a visit and waste the time.
“Dad, what happened? Is something wrong?” Louis asked as soon as he took his seat.
“It’s your sister Eliina. She vanished and it looks like she sneaked out and fell in the trap. Your dad is worrying so much that Ethan decided to tell you about this and ask you to return” George said.
“Eliina got kidnapped?? When??” Louis asked, totally shocked. The anxiousness in his voice determined how worried he is.
“It’s been ten hours or more.” George answered.
“Ten hours?? Dad, they should have told me right?” Louis asked, his voice laced with tension and fear.
It’s his little sister.
“They didn’t want to worry Sabrina.” George said.
“Me too. She will freak out for sure, dad” Louis worried, pinching the space between his eyebrows.
“Let her stay here, Edward. Just tell her that there is an important meeting and you had to go. Sort the problem out and later you could return back or, even, she can go return to the kingdom.” His father in law suggested.
“She won’t buy it, dad. You know her, she will catch my lie in a second” Louis pursed his li-ps.
He had many important meetings in the past, but he never returned because Ethan was always there and moreover, everyone in court supported him.
“And, even if I make up another lie, it won’t take much time for her to see throu-ghit, dad. If it happens, she needs to travel such a long distance all by herself. You know her morning sickness and fatigue” Louis said.
“I can’t leave her here. It will make me more worried. Yes, you all are there to take care of her but-” he was about to continue when George stopped him.
“I un-derstand you, son. I can feel your restlessness. Don’t worry, my daughter can take the truth. Just wait till you both return to the kingdom, so that she would not worry and trigger her pregnancy sickness during the journey” George comforted him.
Louis nodded his head.
“If we start the journey now, we can reach there by morning. There will be a light jet lag though” he agreed.
“I already had the chopper ready in Layla’s private mansion. Plane is already on the runway in the airport as well.” George told.
“If Sabrina is asleep you can take her without waking her up.” he suggested.
“Yes. Moreover she won’t wake up for another ten hours so, by the time we reach she wouldn’t even know” Louis said.
George looked with his eyebrows raised and could only shake his head. ‘Young people nowadays!’
“Good that she is sleeping like a log nowadays” George said, standing up.
“I will arrange the rest of the things, Edward. Don’t worry. Nothing will happen to your sister.” he a-ssured his son in law.
“I hope so, dad” Louis for-ced a smile before they parted ways.
Louis quickly reached their room and the first thing he saw is his wife who is peacefully sleeping with a warm smile on her li-ps.
His heart ached for her.
She should be going back to that tensionful life again. He saw how happy she was these past few months.
He un-derstood how much she loves to live like a normal person.
‘Sorry, love.’ he thought as he caressed her hair. ‘One day, I will fulfill your wish to live as a normal person and from that day, we can enjoy the simplicity of the life with each other’ he promised her before changing her short nightgown into a long and warm pajamas before adding a woolen long cardigan to her outfit.
Later he got dressed and they quickly left.

Brina didn’t know why but she felt totally exhausted when she woke up.
She felt like she had been on a long journey. However, she concluded it thinking it was the aftermath of getting ‘bullied’ by her husband.
Wrapping her arms around her blanket, she sat down leaning on to the headboard, still not opening her eyes.
“Good morning” a female voice almost made Brina startle.
She abruptly opened her eyes only to see Katherine sitting on the chair near the bed.
“Kath..what are you doing here? When did you come?” Brina asked, slightly shocked, as she ti-ghtened the hold on her blanket.
She didn’t want her friend to tease her.
“Look around, Brina. You are the one who came back” Katherine chuckled.
Her best friend looks really cute after she wakes up.
And, all again, Katherine felt like. She is becoming bis-exual.
Brina looked totally beautiful and alluring right now.
Louis arrived just three hours back when it was breakfast time in the Kingdom. Brina is still sleeping in his arms, totally unaware of what is happening.
And, no one could blame her.
She is already tired and given with that, she is easily fatigued nowadays. In addition to that, with Louis’s insatiability and libido, there is no wonder she is sleeping like a log.
She is totally tired.
Later, Louis brou-ght Brina back to their suite, helped her out of her warm clothes and, he just covered her with a blanket after that.
Then, he asked Katherine to stay with Brina and then he hurriedly went back to help Ethan and his father to search for Eliina’s whereabouts.
Meanwhile, when Brina looked around, it was only when she realized that she was in her marital bedroom in the Royal palace.
She is shocked and confused.
The last thing she remembers is drifting into a de-eper slumber after God knows how many slow and torturous rounds. At that time she was their vacation home in the States.
“Edward didn’t wake you up. He brou-ght you here just a few hours back” Katherine explained as she walked into the closet and got a night robe for her friend.
She couldn’t concentrate on what she was talking about, when Brina was looking so alluring. She started to doubt herself…cough…cough.
“What happened? This is totally uncalled” Brina asked as she donned the robe.
“Nothing happened,” Katherine lied.
Louis insisted on not telling anything related about this to Brina. At least not for now.
Brina lifted her left eye brow, suspiciously.
“Kath, do you think I will believe this? Where is Louis? I need to ask him what the heck happened” Brina said, easily angered because of the pregnancy hormones.
“Uhmm, he is in the meeting.” Katherine said, gulping. How could she forget that this is Beatrice she is talking to.
“A meeting as soon as he arrived? He travelled for whole night and due to time difference, he should also be having a jet lag”
“This got to be so important otherwise-”
“It’s King Edgar. Yesterday night he had a mild heart stro-ke again and it made your husband anxious that he immediately came back.” Katherine easily lied.
Yes, King Edgar had felt like he had a heart stro-ke but when the doctors checked on him, it was just acidity and hypertension.
“Oh! How is father now? You should have told me right?” Brina asked, worried.
This excuse is a acceptable.
King Edgar already had a heart attack once, when Ethan eloped.
“Uncle is fine now. It turned out it’s just a sensation” Katherine said.
“But, what triggered it?” Brina asked.
“Nothing in particular,” Katherine lied again.
Brina just nodded her head and leaned back on the headboard again, yawning.
She is not sleepy but exhausted.
Might be the journey, although she doesn’t remember doing a one.
“I want to visit dad,” Brina said.
“Why don’t you freshen up, first? I will brew a tea for you first” Katherine offered.
Brina nodded her head and ru-bbed the nape of her ne-ck in tiredness.
“Gosh, girl, your tummy is very noticeable now” Katherine giggled.
It’s her Godchild inside.
She just couldn’t believe that her best friend is going to be a mother soon.
It is still little difficult for her to comprehend that they are already in the age of inviting motherhood.
“It indeed became huge” Brina agreed, ru-bbing her swollen stomach affectionately.
Katherine followed her suite. “Edward would be totally elated, right?” she asked, grinning.
“More than elated, he became insatiable. I could ba-rely-”
“I can see that. Your ne-ck is full of Hi-ckey’s” Katherine giggled.
“Yeah…yeah. Wait for a few more months and I will be the one teasing you” Brina challenged before carefully walking into the bathroom.
Katherine pouted.
“Let’s see” she muttered sadly.
…..
“I really had a tough time convincing your wife, Edward” Katherine sighed as she spoke with Louis on the phone.
“It goes without saying, Kath. The main point here is, did she buy your lie?” Louis asked.
“I told her that uncle had heart attack symptoms and that is the reason you both had to come back all in sudden” Katherine informed me.
“So, I should get dad to pretend that he is weak and take a rest,” Louis asked.
“Yeah. I am sorry but I couldn’t come up with any better excuse than this” Katherine apologized.
“That’s all right, Kath. Just keep her distracted okay. Otherwise she will freak out” Louis said.
“I will try my best,” Katherine informed me.

The whole day pa-ssed by and it is already thirty six hours after Eliina disappeared.
They managed to find out bits and bits of the whole incident but they are the dead ends.
Even after finding out that Eliina has boyfriend be, they only found out that he travelled to country S from Kingdom Wentris.
As of his identity, it’s still unknown.
“Son, you are tired. You didn’t have much sleep and Brina is already getting tense about it” Edgar said, patting Edward’s shoulder.
“Yes. Bro, you need to sleep. I will call you if there is any update” Ethan supported his father.
Louis just nodded his head and walked towards his quarters.
He is missing his wife, but at the same time he is afraid to answer her questions.
