EPISODE 71
Brina is in good spirits because King Edgar and Queen Elora are here now. It’s been almost more than three months since Brina and Louis came to this town.
They clearly missed their younger son and daughter in law.
Thankfully Ethan was taking care of everything and the leaders of the noble family are also very un-derstanding. Court us no more a hell but one entity, united and un-derstanding.
They might have thought that Brina will be safe outside rather than inside the palace. So, they supported King and a-ssured Louis to extend the vacation without any worries.
Even though Greta has been taken care of, who knows what might happen?
Adding a little poison or making Brina fall from steps are enough to make her miscarry. So, it’s better she stays somewhere safe till she gives birth.
Although everyone knows that these things might not happen, given with full security, they are afraid and are still in that fear of what might happen.
Brina might lose her peace too. Thinking all these things.
Moreover, when they found out that Will woke up, King Edgar really wanted to see him. He wanted to see the grandson of his bestest friend.
So, when King Edgar and Queen Elora said they are missing their son and Goddaughter, everyone even encouraged them to go and stay with Louis and Brina for a while. However, they didn’t tell anyone about Will.
It’s totally peaceful and calm out in the palace, just like the calm before the storm.
….
One evening…
Brina is walking, doing her evening exercise..
This time, instead of Louis, her mother in law Elora accomplished her for a walk. This is the perfect time for them to bond up, as they won’t be busy in their own works right now.
Meanwhile….
At the same time….
Brina’s father was out for a walk.
He usually goes to other parks but due to the snow blockage, he came to this one.
He usually doesn’t like to come to the places where kids play. It is because it reminds him of her grandson Will.
For over a year, he was attending therapies which have helped him to regain his memories.
However he is still un-der the process of recalling all the therapy yet. He remembers most of the things but some things are still blank….like selective amnesia.
But, on the brighter side, it is not so bad like when he woke up from a coma. That time, he couldn’t even remember what his children looked like.
And, on the other hand, adding more pain to his broken heart, his wife is still in a coma…
He feels nothing but gloom and unbearable agony. He is frustrated that he couldn’t take revenge for his loss…
And, he is in no position to do anything but let Nickolas do whatever he wants. He still hates Nick for what he has done.
But, it’s a bit appreciable that he brou-ght them here and is taking care of them. There are people protecting them here.
He arranged everything they needed, however, if he wouldn’t have done the mistakes in the past, they would be living very happily.
It is all his fault and none of his kind action can weigh up to forgiveness.
…
“So, how are your days here? Enjoyed?” Elora asked Brina as they slowly walked on the lane with beautiful trees covered with snow on either side.
“Yep. So far the best days in my life, mom. However, it would have been good if all of you are here with us.” Brina said and she genuinely meant it.
She loves family gatherings and spending time with them. To be frank she felt bored and alone sometimes here.
“It’s nog a big deal, dear. After everything is settled out and this little bundle of joy comes out, we can go for a long family vacation” Elora said, patting Brina’s tummy.
“We all can enjoy as much as we can, without any worries. Even Will will feel refreshed” she added, really amused how happy her adorable daughter in law is.
She is really someone who priorities family and memories more than anything. Louis is really lucky!!
Some ladies are totally materialistic and arrogant, unlike the down to Earth princess from the most powerful Kingdom here.
Brina cheerfully nodded her head. “I am really looking forward to it. It will be so good ” she responded.
“So, is this little guy troubling you?” Elora asked.
“A bit. Mostly mornings and meal times. But Louis is so supportive, it’s not a big deal” Brina answered while she just ru-bbed her tummy.
“And, the swelling is not so negligible actually. I could see it but these clothes are hiding it well” Elora said.
“It is mom. I didn’t know till Louis said that” Brina said. He knows her body like the back of his hand.
Elora laughed. “I noticed he started nagging too much. It’s his own way of showing his overprotective nature” she said.
Brina sighed. “I get at least one lecture per day, mom. I started calling him grandpa” Brina laughed.
“A good one and I am sure, he wouldn’t have liked it” Elora responded laughing.
“His face always turns black when I call him grandpa” Brina laughed too as they continued walking.
“I heard Rhianna gave you a green flag to resume your normal se-x life. You both should be careful, okay?” Elora told her, all of a sudden.
“I heard of many cases where the couple lost their babies because of lack of seriousness towards their doctor’s words” she said, genuinely worried.
She knows how Louis is.
After seeing him for a while after Brina came into his life, she realized that Louis has very unstable self control.
Meanwhile, Brina flushed little.
Though this is not their first time talking all this stuff, it is still a little awkward.
As for what her mother in law said, Brina is genuinely worried as well.
Louis is sometimes overly pa-ssionate and he loses control too.
She has to remind him constantly to be gentle with her.
Sometimes, he would get worried that he would hurt his wife and baby, so he even shifted to the couch for the whole night.
After some encounters like these, Brina stopped wearing the revealing nightwear totally.
Like this, the effect on him would reduce at least a little.
But who would have thought that nothing can stop his perverted mind.

While Elora and Brina are having their conversation, Brina’s father, George, is looking at them.
When he saw Brina he froze. She felt familiar.. very, very familiar. Although Brina is perfectly disguised and she isn’t looking like ‘Sabrina’, he is her father after all.
He sensed something familiar in her.
And, he would have recognized her right away if he had his all memories. He knows how his daughter disguises herself, but he doesn’t remember all of her disguises yet.
‘Who is she? Why do I feel like I know her well’ he thought.
‘Maybe it’s nothing. I might be missing my little princess so much that I am feeling like this’ he thought, wiping away his tears.
He is missing his children so much that whenever he sees someone of their age, he remembers them immediately.
And, when his eyes landed on Elora, he opened his eyes wide.
‘Isn’t she Elora? Edgar’s second wife and Rhea’s best friend’ he thought.
‘What is she doing here?’ he wondered.
When he looked at Brina and Elora who were laughing and acting affectionate, he couldn’t help but wonder what their relationship could be.
Elora’s daughter can’t be this old.
She should be nineteen or twenty.
A relative?
Or, daughter in law?
Brina’s father just continued to look at them, de-eper in thought. He is not thinking anything in particular but after seeing that girl, his heart started to ache and he couldn’t help but remember his daughter.
If she was alive she should have been like this.
She should have been glowing in her glory and living happily. Just like the woman here who is very happy and also seems exceptionally matured and talented. Her aura is like it, same as his daughter.
However, his little daughter is not so lucky. She worked ha-rd to live the expectations others had for her and always proved herself over and over, just to get what??
Her extraordinary skills and stubborn attitude brou-ght only death to her because others felt her as an obstacle that might suppress them.
‘I should have let her enjoy life rather than making her live up to our expectations. Like this, she would have at least been free of all that stress and enjoyed the real life’ he thought, wiping his tears away.
While he started feeling heavy inside his heart, he suddenly got startled when he saw his best friend Edgar and his son joining Elora and the girl.
‘This should be Edward’ he right away thought.
He knows how Ethan looks like so, it is obvious that this is Edward, Edgar’s second son.
‘He indeed growed up into a handsome man’ he thought. Louis went overseas as soon as he finished his studies, so George didn’t get to see him much.
Meanwhile, Louis wound his arm around his wife’s wai-st and kis-sed her li-ps for which Brina snuggled closer to him and rested her head on his shoulder.
They looked so serene and perfect!!
As if they are made for each other.
‘This boy kis-sed my little girl once. When I asked him why he kis-sed her, he said she looked cute. He even said he will marry her’ George recalled that beautiful memory, chuckling.
That day everyone was laughing, and, to be honest they actually fantasized of the day they would really get married.
Best friend’s becoming in law’s. What could be more happy than it?
‘And now, he is married to another woman. How good it would have been if both our families wouldn’t have severed the ties.’ he sighed inside.
‘Edward and my little girl Sabrina would have surely gotten married given how much they liked each other when they were toddlers. And all this mess wouldn’t have happened’ he sadly thought.
‘My poor girl was not that lucky’ he thought, closing his eyes to control his sadness. He knows how much King Edgar loved Sabrina.
He would have taken care of her like his own daughter and he also knows how good Elora is.
His daughter, Sabrina would have got a perfect family. And, his friend’s Kingdom is very peaceful and relatively less scheming too. His Sabrina would have had a peaceful life which she always dreamt off.
‘God bless you both’ George whole heatedly blessed the couple in front of him, as he looked at Brina and Louis for the last time before he walked away.
He is sad that his daughter is not the person in Louis’s arms but he felt happy for Louis who seems so happy. At least he is living a good life now.
That boy has suffered after his mother died. It took him years to accept Elora as his mother, whole heartedly.
….
“Did you like grandma and grandpa?” Brina asked Will as she tucked him in bed.
He was a little sad because his best friend Meg moved out of the house yesterday. Her mother Layla came back and Meg missed her mother. So, she immediately went back.
“They are good people. They genuinely care about me” Will said while he placed his head on Brina’s lap.
“They care about you, Will baby. I didn’t tell you right. They are grandma and gramps friends.” Brina said. However, she was careful not to bring up her brother and sister in law.
She didn’t know how to face those questions…the painful questions.
“I know. Uncle Edward told me that he and you are childhood sweethearts” Will said hugging his aunt’s wai-st.
“Like you and Meg?” Brina teased the little guy who blus-hed.
“Aunt Sab, you shouldn’t tease me like that. I am a man and she is just a kid” Will said, making Brina laugh.
“Really? You became a big guy? I think I have set a blind date to you soon!” Brina joked for which Will blus-hed more.
“Honey, you have to sleep,” Louis, who came inside, said as he gently wrapped his arm around her ne-ck from behind.
“And, blind dates are a really good idea,” he teased Will.
“What’s the time?” Brina asked, laughing at Will and Louis who are about to banter.
“Eleven,” Louis said.
