EPISODE 6
“So, how are you going to save Natalie from my grandmother and Olivia?” Louis asked Brina who was nonchalantly playing with the bu-ttons of his shirt.
“I will think of a way, darling. I have till tomorrow evening” Brina said, smuggling into his embr@ce. A faint yawn escaped her li-ps implying that she is sleepy.
“I don’t think your grandmother and Olivia would humiliate or bully my Natalie during breakfast meetings. In front of everyone they can’t show that they are totally against her. As their main plan could be at a main welcoming party at night, they have to stay low key till then. Otherwise, if something happens to Nat, they will be the first people to be suspected” Brina said.
After that she moved away from his lap and laid down on the bed. And, after seeing her sleepy eyes, Louis didn’t have the heart to ask her about anything.
He believes in his babygirl and he is damn sure that she would help Natalie against Olivia and Oldie.
“Good night, Love” he softly whispered in her ears and laid down beside her before taking her into his arms and wrapping both of them in a soft and warm duvet.
“Hmm. Good night” Brina mellowed before dozing off.
Louis couldn’t help but chuckle. ‘Tomorrow is going to be interesting’ he thought before following his girl into their own dream land.
Yesterday, his dream abruptly stopped just before they could swap their rings. Today, he wants to dream all the remaining. Which of course includes their first night and mind-blowing honeymoon.
….
Morning…
When Brina woke up Louis was still waiting for her. However, he was already freshened up and is wearing a suit.
It is indeed very rare for him to stay behind till she wakes up. So, it made Brina anxious and worried.
‘Did something happen?’ she thought.
Still not getting out of the bed, Brina looked at him with sleepy eyes and red face, all adorable like a little kid.
“Is anything wrong, honey?” she asked after gauzing his seldomly serious expression. She never saw him this serious and de-ep in thought at morning times.
Noticing that Brina woke up, Louis walked to her and hu-gged her face to his stomach.
“Don’t forget your promise, okay? No risking of yourself” he said, his voice soft yet strict. He didn’t leave any space for argument.
Brina smiled. ‘So, it is what that’s troubling him’ she thought.
He is very caring towards her and it of course melted her. Brina took his hand into hers and ki-ssed the back of it, before looking up, right into his intoxicating greyish black eyes.
“I promise I won’t hurt myself.” she promised. “I will only do something if and only if I am sure that I am not going to hurt myself or implicate myself, all right?”
Louis smiled and gave a light peck on her li-ps. Tucking the loose strands of her hair behind her ear he pressed his li-ps on her forehead. “Be a good girl, okay? No breaking of any of these promises” he said.
After getting a nod from his babygirl, it was only when he went. Later, Brina freshened up and she quickly selected a suitable dress for the breakfast.
And, by the time she went out of her bedroom, Eliina and Charlotte were already waiting for her.
“You look beautiful, sister in law” Eliina said and Charlotte nodded her head in approval.
“You both are beautiful too” Brina replied, smiling at them.
‘But, I don’t have my boyfriend here to see me. So, there is no meaning in how beautiful I look’ Eliina thought.
However, she composed her lovesick expression and said, “Sister in law, I am here to help you actually. Both brother Ethan and brother Ed are worried about their elder sister in law. They wanted me to help you in case you have any plans for Olivia and Oldie” Eliina told her.
Eliina is looking so happy today. As her elder brother and his wife came back and were accepted by her parents, she is in her high spirits.
However, what’s troubling her the most is Olivia. As Olivia is so vengeful and malicious, she will surely plot against innocent Natalie.
“Yep. I do have plans, Elle. Let’s talk about them after the breakfast meeting” Brina said.
“I will be there,” Eliina said.
….
At breakfast.
When Brina arrives at the garden, Amelia is already there. In fact, she is the first to arrive.
Brina smiled at her and, as no one has come yet, she sat right beside Amelia for a simple talk.
“So, Kiara is in Team Brina too?” Amelia asked.
“Yep, just like I said, we got another one added to our squad’ Brina said.
“Hmm. That’s a relief.” Amelia chuckled.
“Yep. Now, I have to think of who could be our best target.” Amelia added.
It is one of the things that’s making her curious.
“So far, I could only think of Princess Penelope and Phoebe.” Brina replied.
“And, I am sure we can’t break Rebecca and Katherine. They are like best friends more than allies. Unlike Olivia who throws her wait on Phoebe and Kiara, Katherine respects Rebecca a lot. So, I don’t think I can go for Rebecca”
Hearing Brina’s theory, Amelia nodded her head. “It’s true. They are like friends, and Rebecca loves Katherine a lot. So, it’s not wise to go after her. However, Brina can’t we ask Kiara to help us with Phoebe?”
Brina shook her head. “I am having other plans for Phoebe. And, I am not yet sure if we can take Kiara’s help. I couldn’t trust her completely” she whispered.
“Leave about it, Amelia. Tell me how it’s going with Daniel.” Brina asked Amelia who in turn blus-hed.
“He is a piece of wood, Brina. He couldn’t even un-derstand that I like him! And, he was not even able to catch the fli-rtiness in my words. For a few days I felt frustrating” Amelia sighed.
After the horse riding event, Amelia asked Daniel to teach her horse riding.
Moreover, Louis for-ced him as well. And, in this way she got some time with Daniel.
“As expected for Daniel!” Brina laughed.
“But I didn’t expect him to be that dense. Over those few days, all my efforts went solely in forcing him to call me Amelia rather than Lady Amelia. See my plight!” Amelia pouted, making Brina laugh.
“So, what did you do? If I was you, I would have smacked his head and shouted at him that I like him” Brina said, laughing.
“That’s the problem with me! I am too shy to do that. I don’t even know how he might respond” Amelia sighed.
“And, I just have over a month to make him fall for me. After that, I would be going back to Africa for my research” she added, mas-saging her forehead.
“I see. So, you don’t have time and he is being very dense in un-derstanding the hints you are going.” Brina said.
“In these circu-mstances, we should strike directly, Amelia. Giving hints and waiting for him to respond won’t do anything. It will take years to progress”
“Strike directly means?” Amelia asked, innocent and clueless.
“Does he at least like you? I mean, does he have a good impression of you?” Brina asked.
“Yep. He said I am one of the very few who got close to him. He said, he enjoys my company” Amelia innocently answered.
Brina didn’t know whether to laugh or cry.
Really? These people are so immersed in their own careers that they even forgot how to be R0m-ntic and how to un-derstand it!
“I think Daniel is not the only one who is dense here. You are too” Brina said, trying to hold her laugh.
“Eh?” Amelia looked at Brina with confusion written on her face.
“How am I being dense here? I have been hinting him” Amelia protested.
She is R0m-ntic by heart, okay?
At least better compared to Daniel!
“Exactly. You are so immersed in giving hints that you have solely invested all your attention in it. This made you fail to detect the hints he is giving to you. You idiot, even he likes you!”
“Does he? ” Amelia asked. Unfathomable emotions brimming in her eyes.
She is happy, emotional, curious and extremely nervous.
“Think over. Why will he tell you that you are one of very few who got this close to him? Until unless he has a very high opinion of you and values you as someone very close, he wouldn’t have said it.”
“He said, he loves your company. He loves to spend time with you. Indirectly, it means he is looking forward to times like these.” Brina explained to her.
“So, he loves me?” Amelia asked, ready to jump with joy.
“He likes you. About love, it’s something that depends on various things. However, liking will ‘most probably’ end up turning into love.” Brina told Amelia who is now de-ep in thought.
Brina is right!!
“But the problem here is, neither of you have guts to express how you feel. You have been in love with him for many years and he started liking you recently. So, you both have a long way to go, but, in order to make him fall for you, you nee-d to express your love, ask him to give a chance to your relationship” Brina said.

Chapter 224 – Amelia Actually Knows ‘Sabrina’!!

“But the problem here is, neither of you have guts to express how you feel. You have been in love with him for many years and he started liking you recently. She couldn’t help but remember the time when Louis br@vely expressed how he feels for her and asked her for a chance to prove himself.
If he would have backed down, they wouldn’t be here in first place. Louis is the main pillar in their love journey and he will remain to be.
“So, what should I do? Should I go and ask him ‘will you date me’?” Amelia asked. “But, I am sure my voice will go off and I wouldn’t be able to utter a single coherent word!” She told, placing her head in her hands.
“But you don’t have much time too, Amelia. I heard from Louis that Daniel wouldn’t be coming with us to Alpha Academy. He has many works to do it seems. So, you might not have much time left”
“After Alpha Academy, it’s a one day trip to all the seven Houses and after that, the last event will take place. That’s it! So, you won’t get much time, at most a week after coming back from Alpha Academy” Brina said.
“Ahh!! It’s true. Brina… please tell me a solution. I don’t want to lose him!” Amelia hastily said, her eyes filled with horror.
“As you can’t talk because of your nervousness, I would rather ask you to ki-ss him and run away from there,” Brina said, chuckling.
“What!? ki-ss??” Amelia asked, blus-hing red.
“According to me, it’s one of the best ways to show your love to someone. My brother did the same with my sister in law who was dense like Daniel. Trust me, it will work, most probably it will” Brina said.
“Though she was shocked, she went back to her house that night and started thinking about it. She kind off recollected all the moments she had with my brother and then at last, she figured out the hints he gave her. It made my brother easy to ask her for dinner. As she knew he wanted to court her, there was no awkward environment between them when he asked her to give him a chance” Brina said.
“So, just give a ki-ss and run away?” Amelia asked.
“It’s weird and funny. But it worked for my brother. But I don’t know if it will work for you. I am just giving you a suggestion based on real life experience” Brina said.
“If you are br@ve to ask him directly, go for it. However, there are chances he might not have expected this because he didn’t take your hints. He is clueless of how you feel.”
Amelia nodded her head. “If I ki-ss and run away, he will at least think of why I did it. It will give him a basic knowledge of how I feel’ Amelia said.
“Yes. So, if he wants to give it a chance, he would say yes when you ask for a private dinner. If he is not okay, he might deny it. At least, that is what I expect from people like Daniel” Brina told her.
“Got it! I will think of it.” Amelia said.
“You know Brina. You sound mostly like my mentor. Your idea’s, your thinking resembles her a lot” Amelia said, all of sudden, her voice laced with sadness.
Amelia fished out her mobile and showed Brina the picture on wallpaper.
“It’s her. The one standing in the middle. Though she used to visit very rarely, I am close to her. However, she is no more. She died when she was visiting her private laboratory. I miss her a lot” Amelia said, wiping away the year at her eye rim.
Meanwhile, Brina froze.
As Amelia was busy in her own thoughts, she didn’t notice a tear rolling down Brina’s cheek.
Amelia’s mentor is Lillian.
Who is none other than her sister in law.
Yep. She now remembered what Amelia had said during their first meeting, that she used to work in a project but the main person died, making it difficult for them.
Her sister in law Lillian used to have two favorite interns back then. And, those people know about her family.
That also means, Amelia knows the life of Sabrina.
It also means Amelia knows a few things which Brina wanted to find out from very long.
Meanwhile..
Kiara was the third person to arrive.
Looking at Brina and Kiara who were sitting quietly, she approached them.
“Good morning, lady Brina. Good morning, Lady Amelia” she greeted them.
Brina quickly composed herself and smiled. “Good morning, Lady Kiara. By the way, you can call me Brina. No nee-d for that tag” she said.
Amelia smiled at Kiara. “Same goes for me. As we are on the same side, I would rather treat everyone as my friend. So, no nee-d for formalities” she told me.
Kiara felt emotional.
It’s because Olivia never treated her like this. She used to always throw her weight on them, often forcing them to treat her like their Queen and them as her servants.
First time, she felt like she was getting respect no matter how less helpful she could be.
She suddenly started feeling rather emotional.
“I will keep it in my mind,” Kiara smiled. For the first time it reached her eyes.
Till a few days back, she felt as if she was a slave of Olivia. However, Olivia was the only powerful candidate back then.
But now, things have changed and by God’s grace, this time she felt lucky enough that she is on the right side.
“So, is everything fine with you, Kiara? Is Owen troubling you?” Brina whispered.
Kiara shook her head. “No. Thanks to you, Brina. I followed your idea” she said.
“I told him that I was being watched intently by Royal guards. And after hearing it, he got afraid that he might get caught coming to my suite. So, he never visited me in those few days” Kiara answered her.
Brina is right about Owen. All he wanted from her on nothing but physical plea-sure.
If he had really cared for her, he would have at least called her or texted her. However he didn’t do either of these.
It’s like he has totally forgotten about her. The s-×ual plea-sure is the only thing he wanted and, as he didnt get it from her in these few days he found himself a new person.
That person is a maid in Royal Palace. Owen is now getting it from a maid because he was too desperate to satisfy his urges!
Does.. does that mean he treated her similar to a maid?
Her value is no more than a mere maid for Owen. It made Kiara more angry.
She is now craving revenge. She wants to swap their positions and make him feel like he is her servant.
“Hmm. That’s good. But, better be careful, okay? We can’t predict what might happen” Brina said, patting Kiara’s shoulder.
Kiara nodded her head with teary eyes. “Thank you, Brina. I mean it when I said I owe you” she emotionally said.
“I already told you what could pay off,” Brina smiled.
“Consider it done. Nothing will change my mind” Kiara immediately answered.
“And, Brina, Olivia is planning something to humiliate the daughter in law of the Royal family. It might probably take place during the evening party. Be careful so that Olivia will not chance to implicate you in this” Kiara said.
“I will keep it in my mind” Brina briefly replied.
It is because Kiara doesn’t know about her relationship with Louis and Natalie.
After that, Kiara went back to her respective chair.
Not soon after that, every lady arrived one by one.
Olivia smi-rked at Brina and arrogantly sat down on the left side of the main chair.
She is indirectly showing off that she will always remain the most important person no matter what happens.
Meanwhile, Brina decided not to bother herself. Who would bother themselves because of a continuously barking dog?
It is said that the dog which barks would never bite. It is like, empty vessels make more noise.
Potential people would always stay calm and carry their work. She belongs to this category while Olivia belongs to the former.
After everyone settled down, Queen mother Greta came.
However, everyone is more curious to see the wife of their ex crowned Prince Ethan.
They wanted to see who was that person who had caused a great shock across the Kingdom.
While everyone’s eyes are searching for the new daughter in law of the Royal family, Ethan and Natalie walk in.
Following them behind is Princess Eliina and Rhianna, of course.
As Brina can’t help Natalie very openly, it’s better for Rhianna to stay with her. That is why Brina asked Rhianna to join the breakfast meeting.
