Chapter 35 & 36
Amy was sobbing her face on her mother’s belly. Vixen walked up to xan, palming his shoulder.
” I never knew that’s her mother?” He said.
” I’m speechless for her, vix.” Xan said, sighing.
” Speechless that?”
” Amy still pity her mom this way. She loves her mom very much. I just wish my mom could love me this way too.” He said and vixen instantly scoffed, walking away.
Amy looked up and found vixen. She ran to him and held his shirt.
” Vixen!. What were you thinking to have hit her!. Were you that drunk!” Amy squirmed loudly.
” Amy i had no intention in killing her. Afterall, she wanted the death herself.” Vixen shrugged, speaking calmly.
” What if she had died!. Don’t you know she is the only surviving family i have left!” She said and weakly left hold of him.
She walked to katrina.
” Katrina…”
” Yes, Amy.” Katrina held her firm, close to her body.
” I’m sure you must have a general blood group type. Please for the sake of anything, please help my mom!” She cried.
” I’m_ I’m sorry i don’t. I don’t possess it” She replied, shaking her heads.
Xan came forward and pulled Amy to his body as they moved to a seperate place in the room.
He held her hand and stared into her swelled eyes that were prickly to fall out tears soon.
” I still can’t believe you still want to help her after everything she did to us. But i un-derstand she needs to be given a second chance.”
” Nevertheless, xan. She is still my mother. i love her from my heart. I’ve grown to cherish her no matter anything.” She said.
Xan heaved loudly and looked over to her sickbed.
” You are right. She is still your mom and_she still deserves to be loved.” He said.
The doctor then walked in. Amy left hold of xan as she rushed towards him quickly.
She folds her sleeves.
” Take my blood, share it for both of us. Please doc do it quickly before her oxygen runs out.” She said getting impatient.
Xan came forward and held her wrist firmly.
” You can’t use yours, amy. You already lost enough after losing the baby. I’ll give out the donor.” Xan said.
” You…you will?” Amy asked, blinking her fleek lashes.
Xan turned to face the doctor.
” Take my blood instead. I have the general group type” He said.
The doctor nodded in agreement and led him away towards the door.
Katrina went forward to hold Amy in place as she led her to sit on the sofa. Vixen also joined them.
” It’s okay, Amy. Cheer up.” Katrina said, cleaning her w-et cheeks.
” It’s not okay, kate. It’s not okay until i say it’s okay.” She said and fell her head on vixen’s shoulder, sobbing silently.
Vixen grabbed her closer and ru-bbed her head and back gently.
” Don’t worry Amy. Everything will be fine. I’m here with you, so don’t feel bad, okay?”
” Mn.” she nodded, wrapping her hands around him. Vixen intentionally looked up only to receive horrible glares from Kate.
Kate yanked her from his brace and made her rest on her shoulder instead.

8: 00pm. FOun-der HOSPITAL ★
Xan was waiting at the reception and Amy was laying her head on his lap, sleeping in awareness.
It’s been seven hours but Amy decided to remain in the hospital till her mother moved a joint.
The nurse stepped out of Mrs qin ward and informed them she could open her eyes now.
Amy and xan rushed to their feet and both of them ran towards her room with so much expectancy.
Mrs qin saw her door open. She quickly ru-bbed the tears that had been running down her eyes.
Xan walked in and Amy stood by the door, hugging close to his shirt nervously.
” Ali_cia…” mrs qin raised her arm weakly.
Xan looked down and smiled at Amy.
” I told you she will be fine.” He said. Amy pressed her head on his shirt as she formed a smile too.
How relieved she felt!. She left hold of him and stepped towards her mom’s bed.
” Mom…” She said, sitting down.
” Alicia. Alicia…Is it too late to say sorry?. Or for how long I’ve i been dead?” She asked, palming her daughter’s cheeks.
Amy held her mom’s palm as she smiled. A single tear fell off her cheek.
” Mom…”
” Fate keeps denying my death, Alicia…”
” Mother…” Amy moved closer.
” And in the end, you still helped me. I Don’t even deserve a second chance at all…”
” Mom, i love you. What wouldn’t i have done without you, mother. Sometimes when i remember my past, there’s alot good you’ve done for me than bad.”
” Alicia. You are forgetting something. I’m A bad mother. what good mother will let their daughter loose his wo-mb and kill his grandchild.”
” Mom. I un-derstand that you did it out of anger. But everyone makes mistake. I know xan was cruel to me back then, believe me mom, he’s changed now.”
” I can totally testify that he is. He truly changed. I’m sorry i failed to un-derstand, I’m sorry for all those days of ill treatment” Mrs qin sniffed her nose and broke into a sob.
” I’m sorry that there are alot to be sorry for but i might not have been able to remember. de-eper down, I’m truly sorry.”
” Its fine.” Amy said ru-b-bing her mother’s palm gently. Mrs qin got helped to sit up on the bed as well.
” The doctor said i was given a blood donation.”
” Xan.” Amy looked behind her.
Xan had been leaning himself to the door with one kneel on the wall. He made himself visible and came forward to share a sit on her bed as well.
Mrs qin covered her nose. She couldn’t contain her feelings. The pain she felt right then was more than what she faced at Amy’s sickbed.
She picked xan arm and sobbed in his palm.
” Xan. Still the same xan i hated and tried to kill by thugs. Still the same xan i chased away and killed his baby, is the same xan who volunteered to help me today.” She sobbed.
She picked Amy’s hand as well.
” I’m very sorry. It takes time to heal a broken heart and i know my forgiveness is still across. Just know i remain guilty for what i did and i’m sorry.” She said and fixed their knuckles together.
Amy stared at xan and xan raised his eyes to meet her face. A smile slowly crept on their cheeks.
” I don’t know when I’ll come out of the hospital with a broken leg but let me do this…” Mrs qin said.
She kis-sed both of them at the back of palm and breathed out a sigh.
She turned to xan.
” Go on with your marriage, Xan. Have has mutiple kids as you want and live a happily ever after family life with my daughter. You deserve Amy. You totally do!.”
She finally met Amy’s face and she realised they were as w-et as hers as well.
” Alicia dear, you dont have to worry. You will have kids okay?. Dont ever give up on yourself”
” Yes, yes i know i will. I wont give up, never ever!. I’m going to ba-re my own kids” She sobbed loudly.
Mrs qin embraced xan and pulled Amy closer to join them as well as they held ti-ght to eachother.

XAN’S MANSION
Vixen stood by the door of katrina’s room. He knocked twice and exhaled.
“Who’s that?!” Kate yelled. She was rolling on the bed, feeling void.
” It’s me_ vixen.” He replied and her face somehow lit up.
” Go away!” She yelled even tho she wanted him badly.
Vixen leaned into the door. ” Please hubby open the door, i really want us to talk this out.”
” There’s absolutely nothing to talk about. I told you to forget about me. Just move on with yout life.” She yelled.
” I’m sorry. But i can’t move on. That’s as impossible as swimming with your nose closed. Katrina, I’m really sorry for what i did earlier today. That’s why i came, to change” Vixen said.
” You don’t love me” she blurted stubbornly.
” Believe me, katie. I love everything about you. Your ears and nose, your li-ps, your body, your awesome voice. I love them all, you are the most prettiest girl ever.” He said.
Katrina smi-rked widely. She was loving this new torture she was giving him. She stood up from bed and tied her robes properly.
She leaned her cheeks on the door.
” Say you mean it.” She said.
” I mean it. I swear, from my heart. I love you and no man can deny it” He said, leaning his forehead on the door as well.
” What punishment should i give to you for breaking my heart.” She said, smiling mischievously.
” Anyone that pleases you.” He dwindled.
” mmm. Sure?”
” Um..I..i mean…No. Just let me in please, then I’ll tell you.” He begged.
” Not until you surrender to one punishment first.” She sneered.
” Fine, Go ahead and punch my stomach and kis-s me.” He said, bi-ting his lower li-p.
” What!. That’s not even a punishment.” She yelled, leaning away from the door.
” Okay fine, I’ll increase 50% of your salary.” He said lazily.
” Mh mn. Now that’s better.” She said and finally unlocked the door.
Vixen walked in and wide-ned his arm happily, expecting her to hug him. She folded her hands, looking away from him.
” I won’t hug you.” She mouthed.
” Come on, hubby.” Vixen held her from behind, kis-sing her shoulders and ne-ck.
” Stop!” She pushed him. He playfully carried her up like a bride
” Vixen!” She laughed.
” I can’t hear you from this kis-s” He said and trotted towards the bed still kis-sing her.
He fell her on top and to-re out her robe quickly, pressing his li-ps on her skin.

WEDDING AT THE CHURCH GARDEN
At the wedding ceremony. It was a pretty Saturday morning.
Xan and Amy were already standing at the altar, looking like they were perfectly made for eachother.
Amy was dressed in her dream wedding gown and her face was covered with a veil. On the other hand, xan wore a pure dark suit that had carved out his perfect physique.
The few guest were all watching with so much anticipation. Vixen, kate and mrs qin occu-pied the first seat.
The priest started.
” Xan and Amy will get wedded on September 1st and their marriage will be sealed this morning. Our gathering here today was for the purpose of uniting,
Xan Lewis and Amy Blanc.” He said and everyone clapped joyfully.
Xan stared at his to-be wife and it seemed it gave him so much joy. This was the most happiest day of his life.
Amy as well, turned to stare at vixen from where he was sitting. He was also looking gorgeous and breathtaking.
She had promised to marry vixen when she was a child but, fate had a huge turn on her.
She also turned to look at her mom. She turned out to be the most happiest one among all the guest, just by looking at her face.
She was glad everything was settled and now everyone would live in peace afterwards.
Amy heaved a sigh and stared at the man she was about to marry. A tall, gorgeous looking king of men.
He was probably the most handsome man she had ever seen in her life. The looks in his eyes, as he stared back at her, gave her so much joy already.
Their smile never left their face and it made them look more beautiful.
His little fruit. Her icy king. They were just the most perfect couple of the year.
” Xan and Amy. Would you please face eachother.” The priest said and they did as they were told.
Amy shyly looked away from his face. He couldn’t stop smiling at her direction.
” Xan. Would you take Amy as your lawfully wedded wife, to love and cherish for eternity, for better or for worse, in sickness and in health, in rich and in poor. Say i do, if so.”
” I do.” Xan said in the microphone, smiling widely without getting his gaze off her.
” Amy. Would you take xan as your lawfully wedded husband, to love and cherish for eternity, for better or for worse, in sickness and in health, in rich and in poor. Say i do, if so.”
” I do.” She replied, blus-hing hard.
” Before we move into the exchange of rings. Is there anyone in the crowds who do not accept this marriage union. Speak now or be remained silent forever” He said.
Xan and Amy stared at the crowds hopefully. The crowds in turn stared at eachother. No one raised their hands.
The priest continued.
” Now take this ring as….”
” Wait..” Someone just walked in hastily. ” I do not accept this marriage!” The stranger yelled.
The wedding was left in confusion and chaos afterwards.
Xan eyes silently dim down
