Chapter 31.
Xan stared at her legs. He found his breath getting stiff, though, dry. His world was swallowing up into a big..big ugly pit.
Blood!.
Amy was bleeding right before his very own eyes. His eyes refused to stop bulging. This was much horrific than a killing scene. How come she was bleeding?. What did she take into her body??
She was holding her belly still sobbing and twirling her head around, up and down. She was even unaware of the blood stains on her legs. She didn’t know what was happening to her.
All she knew was that her stomach was hurting her badly and that she wanted to be okay.
” Xan. Xan..” She hiccu-p. ” Please take me to the hospital. Take me now, please!. I’m dying. My baby!” She yelled.
Xan eyes flashed throu-ghher face. He was back on earth again. He quickly faced the driving wheel.
” Just hold on baby.” He said, turning on his car. He stared at her again and saw the lines of blood. They were getting much that the car would almost flood with blood. That was his baby there flowing out.
He couldn’t un-derstand what was happening again. He was almost running sane.
” Amy. Amy. J..ust Hold on to yourself. I’ll drive to the hospital as quick as i can.” He said heaving fast. His legs stooped on the driving pad and like that, he drove out of control speed.

HOSPITAL★
Xan was leaning himself on the office wall as he stared at the roof. He was in his own world. The rest of his surroundings were just like sad..sad music.
Amy and his unborn baby health were the only thing on his head. He heaved a sigh, tugging his hair ti-ghtly.
” Amy.” His voice uttered as he ru-bbed his cold, pale face.
He heard a racking noise coming by and he found Amy on an hospital bed with the nurses pushing her along. He came towards her bed stand and held her palm as he ran along with them. she was supported throu-ghan oxygen.
” Amy. Can you hear me, Amy?” He called out even tho he knew she was in her unconsciousness state. She couldn’t hear him. He felt like she was half dead, already away from his life.
The nurses dragged her bed away into the urgency room, leaving him standing by the doorside. He looked out, his brows bending sadly. He was supposed to suprise her with a ring today. He didn’t like the way his day was going.
He hit the door hard, groa-ning loudly. His Amy, who could have done this to her. He rested his head on the door and held his palm on it firm. He was a man. He would try to keep himself together.
He walked over to a spare chair and went to sit and feel sober there, just then the doctor walked out of the room. He hastily jumped to his feet and caught him before he could leave.
” Doc. Please tell me she didn’t lost the baby. Please tell me!” Xan held his sleeves, gulping down his dry throat.
” We are still working to save the foetus, young man. Her body is very fragile, Why did she take an ab-ortion pills in the first place?” The doctor asked.
” ab-ortion pills?” Xan eyesballs swelled.
He looked away, quite speechless and disturbed. Did Amy take an ab-ortion without his consent?. No!. She wouldn’t try to ab-ort her own baby would she?. The doctor tried to move away but xan quickly held him back again.
” Doctor. She never took ab-ortion pills. I…i..was.”
” She did. The ab-ortion pills started to erupt in her stomach early this noon that means she took it this morning.” He said.
Xan found his hands falling off the doctor’s coat. He was completely taken aback. If the ab-ortion pills was taken this morning, the fact was clear already. He stepped back, shaking his head in disbelief.
” I knew it!. I knew. I had a bad feeling coming to mrs qin home. I knew she had other plans. fuc-k…Why!!” He yelled. He tugged his hair, bi-ting his lower li-p. He didn’t want to leave the hospital but he would be for-ced to.
He turned around in a swift and began to head out of the hospital with full speed. He tripped out of the hospital stairs like a devil who was ready to burn down the entire planet. He got to his car and ru-bbed the blurry vision off his car gla-ss.
” Mrs qin. I knew you were a devil all along. I guess you should wait to see the real devil come by.” He sneered and stepped into his car quickly.

XAN’S MANSION.
Vixen was lazily resting on his chair, tipping his fingers into a pack to take chips. Just then, Katrina walked into the kitchen wearing a brown bathing robe. She tiptoed and came from behind him covering his eyes.

” Katrina?” He mused. Katrina laughed and went to sit next to him.

” Strong Chips are not meant for girls like you. Go lic-k icecream!” He said. Katrina chuckled and picked some from the packs and sge crunched.
” Mmm. This chips tastes really awesome.” She said, lic-king her finger making a clacking noise.
Vixen shut his eyes. She was making him feel hor-ny just by clacking her tongue that way. He opened his eyes and picked the pack.
” Ha!. This is the last piece.” He laughed and stretched it to his li-ps.
” No!. Hey!. Don’t eat that!” She yelled and grabbed vixen’s face quickly.
Slowly, she brou-ght her li-ps closer and nibb-led the chips off his li-ps. She chewed inbetween his li-ps. Their li-ps brushed against eachother and vixen found his breath getting stiff as he shut his eyes.

” The fact that you are ask me what wrong makes me want to kill you right here.”
” Please don’t kill me!. Please!” She begged, shaking her hands.
” I won’t ask you why you poisoned Amy’s food. But if the baby dies, then you are done for.” He said.
” The baby will never survive.” She muttered to herself as she looked away from him.
” Did you say something?” Xan walked closer, leaning into her as he palmed the wall.
” Nothing. I never said anything.” She said, looking up at him.
” Fool!” He muttered. He picked her arms and turned around. He pulled up her ne-ck rou-ghly and began to take her to the car.
He threw her to fall into the booth of the car and before he closed up, he leaned in on her.
” I’ll make this easier for us, mrs qin. If my baby dies, I’ll kill you three times. But if he doesnt, then I’ll make your life miserable.” He said and jammed the door close.
Mrs qin covered her face as she sobbed. She knew everyone was going to think she is a bad person. She was only paying her revenge on xan as to what he made her feel when Amy almost died.
She wanted to make him feel how it’s hurt to loose a child. She didn’t want to care if he’s changed or not as far as taking the revenge will make her happy and fulfilled.
Afterall, she warned Amy to stay away from him so that she can have her hands on him. But even her daughter have decided to pa-ss throu-ghher pains as well. She sniffed and fell her body helplessly. Was she even making sense to anyone at all?.
Life was unfair, people abandon the past just because of the good future.
At the hospital…
Xan and mrs qin tripped into the hospital and luckily, they met the doctor attending to nurses on the way. As soon as he was done, they quickly stopped the doctor and xan rushed to ask the same question again.
” I don’t have much to say, sir. It’s clear that she bleeded alot. The baby lost half of it’s life before she could get here.” He said and Xan palmed his li-ps
” We tried to save the baby by every possible way but unluckily, we ended up hurting her wo-mb leaving it with quite a huge damage too.” The doctor said.
Xan chuckled sarcastically as if he running mentally sane.
” Is this a joke or what?” He asked, looking at the nurses around. The doctor sighed.
” I’m sorry. It’s sad that she drank an ab-ortion pills when infact, her baby was doing just fine. Why would you let that little girl pa-ss throu-ghthat horrible pain.” He said.
Xan swelled as he stared at mrs qin. He wished she could be hanged to death. She bowed her head feeling horrible. What has she done?. The part where the doctor said Alicia had a huge wo-mb damage got her alot. Could have that little tip led to that extent?.
” You can go to her room and go check on her, she’s been awake.” The doctor said before another nurse approached him.
Xan walked away stealthily before mrs qin guiltily followed behind. He pushed the door to her room open and Amy sat up quickly turning her head.
” Xan. Where have you been?” She asked as she rushed down the bed to hug him.
” I…i..was sorting things out.” He said, his breath was just heavy to contain.
She looked up at him.
” What did the doctor say?. H..he didn’t reveal anything to me. Did he say my baby is okay?” Amy asked holding Xan’s arm. Xan lowered his gaze, bi-ting his li-p painfully. How was he going to tell her everything. From loosing her baby to having a bad wo-mb.
” Tell me, xan. What did he say?” She probbed feeling impatience.
” He said the baby is fine.” Xan said quickly, not giving enough time to think.
” Huh?. Oh. Thank God. I almost thought i lost my baby. I had lots of anxiety waiting for you, xan. Oh geez…I’m so glad.” She said, hugging him ti-ght.
Her heart had stopped beating. She was now relaxed in his arm. Xan found himself hugging her back. He was very hurt to have lied. He knew if she knew the truth, she would think her life very horrible.
Mrs qin, on the otherside, stood at the doorside, unable to comprehend her feelings anympre. She let tears roll out her eyes. Even after taking a revenge on xan by hurting his baby, he still covered her up just to make her daughter happy.
So this is how much he loved her?. If Amy knew her mom was behind this, she might hate her forever. She sniffed and shaked her heads. She made a terrible mistake. Was she?.
Xan left hold of her and Amy stared at her his face. There were tears on his cheek.
” Xan?. What happened?. Why…why are you crying?” She asked, cu-pping his cheek. Xan turned around to face mrs qin and that’s when Amy realised her mom had been standing at the extreme end of the room.
” Mom!.” She ran up to her, taking her for a ti-ght hug. Tears began to run out of Amy’s eyes.
” Mom. You won’t believe what happened after we left. Mom i almost lost your grandkid. I know how much you need a grandchild, i know you’ve always prayed for one. I don’t know what I’ve done if my baby had died. I wouldn’t have been able to fulfill your promise .” She said, sobbing.
” Alicia, my daughter!” Mrs qin shaked her heads, hugging ti-ght to her body as she cried heavily. Amy left her mom to hug ti-ght she remained mute. She had never cried this much before.
Mrs qin left hold of her and cleared up the tears off her face.
” I’m sorry. I’m very sorry.” She said.

XAN’S MANSION.
Xan had lost everything. He wasn’t able to even repay mrs qin any longer. His heart was like gla-sses that they had scattered. He lost his baby!. That baby that he had hoped for to start a family with Amy. He had also lost her wo-mb.
What if she wouldn’t get pregnant for him again. He had lied to her that her baby was fine and that nothing happened. Dumb Amy had swallowed the fact and thought it was true. She wasn’t aware that she took pills so how was she able to know. Even her mom, he had left that bitc-h to go away with it.
He had lost his strength and everything to even repay her back for her deeds.
In the dinning room, xan was alone that night. He was leaning one of his leg on his chair, gently crunching on chips. The door moved and Amy walked in already dressed for bed.
” Why are you sitting here alone?” She asked. Since he was the only one who knew about the incident, he was feeling sober alone. He sat up and stretched out a chip to her mouth. She crunched it and smiled.
” Mmmm nice.” She smiled.
” You love it?” He asked, smiling.
” I’m sure the baby will love it more.” She giggled and Xan face fell flat. He sat upright. He wanted to tell her the truth so badly because she was now feeling too fond of the ghost baby.
He heaved.
” Amy. There’s something you should know.” He said. ” The doctor just called a minute ago and told me to tell you something.”
” Okay?” She said, blinking at him. That eyes of her, it would kill him if tears ever fell out of them.
He inhaled sharply and looked at her smiling.
” He said we should get married quickly. You know, before we have this baby so that our baby can call us mama and papa.”
” Oh. That will be so awesome. I was also thinking same.” She said, feeling like she was powered up. He picked her hands and stood up, leaned his palm on the table to trap her.
” We will discuss the wedding part later. But For now…” He said and gently kis-sed her li-p.
Amy bit her li-ps, staring up at him.
” Nau-ghty man.” She smiled.
He tried to kis-s her again but she stopped him.
” Catch me if you can.” She said running out of the kitchen.
Xan ran his fingers into his hair as he leaned himself on the table. He was going to marry her marry because he was into this with her. He was going to fulfill his vows to love her till the end. She might have lost his baby or perhaps have a disabled wo-mb but that won’t stop him.
He would prove to anyone that love was true.
