“Is she still crying??” LX asked, watching Scarlett, from the transparent side of the door.
She was crying loudly.
Phil glanced and sighed de-eply.
“I thought the doctor just said her sister’s surgery went fine,, and she’s okay” LX said. written by sommy pearl f.
“I guess she can’t get over what happened then. We all nearly got a heart attack” Phil muttered, and sat down on the bench.
LX sat close to him.
He sighed de-eply and looked at his side to see Trina sitting close to Oscar. Her head was on his broad shoulders.
“Dylan is okay, too,, right?” Phil asked.
“You should see him. He’s alright though. His family is with him” LX replied.
Phil only smi-rked.
“What really happened? I came running when I received the call. I was so worried” LX muttered.
Phil sighed de-eply.
“Just…a story,,, that made everything messed up”
LX blinked his eyes.
“Can,,, i hear everything if you don’t mind? And,,, Phil?”
Phil looked at him.
“I’m…sorry for my recent behavior. You know,,, drifting apa-rt from you and acting like a fool cause Scarlett didn’t choose me,, blah blah”
Phil chuckled softly.
“It’s fine…I and Scarlett,,, We are over”
“What?”
“There’s nothing between us,, anymore”
“Why? What happened?”
“This is pa-rt of the mess I’m talking about”
“Can i hear of it, if you don’t mind?” LX asked.
“Sure,,, Its a pretty long story though” Phil uttered, and LX for-ced a smile.
FEW MINUTES**
“Oh damn!” LX sniffed in his tears.
“You’ve suffered a lot, and I never knew about it. I’m sorry” He said, and hu-gged him.
Phil smiled and responded to the hu-g.
LX wiped his tears quickly and looked at him.
“So,,, This is the end,,, You and Scarlett?” He asked.
“Yeah” Phil nodded.
SAMANTHA’S WARD**
Scarlett’s loud tears made Samantha’s eyes flung over.
She took her eyes down and sighed de-eply seeing her, crying.
“Gosh,,, can you just stop??. I wanna Fu-cking rest” Samantha said.
Scarlett sniffed.
“I was Fu-cking scared. Ahhhh” She began crying again.
“Urgh!! Will you stop! Leave!” Samantha laughed.
Scarlett sniffed her tears, and laughed too.
“I’m glad you’re alive”
Samantha smiled and opened her arms.
“Come here”
Scarlett quickly hu-gged her.
“Oww” Samantha mo-an ed, and Scarlett quickly left her.
Samantha held her stomach side.
“Fu-ck,,, I’m sorry. Did it really hurt?”
“Kind of” Samantha chuckled.
Scarlett smiled.
“Hey,,, And don’t call me Lolly. I was a bi-tch then. Not now” Samantha uttered.
“Never did that,,, and never ever planning on calling you that”
“Good…Huh,,, So,,, how is Phil?? Have you seen him already?”
Scarlett blinked her eyes.
“He has been avoiding me. I’m not sure he would want to see me”
“You don’t know,,, unless you try. You’d better go now. Hmm…Tomorrow,,, Who knows what might happen to you. But don’t worry,,, You won’t die, Scarlett” Samantha smiled sadly.
Scarlett eyes filled up with tears again.
“Gotta go, then” She stood up.
“Go gurl” Samantha winked.

“Wait,, You mean,, It was Felicia. She was the one who spiked the system then?? The h*ll! You knew about it, but didn’t tell me? You didn’t even Scarlett from the mess too? Geez,, You saw the way I was scolding her then, C’mon!” Phil said, with disappointment in his voice.
“I’m really sorry. Back then,, I was a total idiot. Jealousy led into anger and led into that. I’m sorry”

LX quickly stood up.
“Scarlett?” He scratched his head.

“Uhm,,, Can you excuse I and Phil?. I wanna speak with him”
“Sure” LX proceeded to walk away.
“I don’t wanna talk to you” Phil said, and walked away.
“Phil?” LX called gently, but he didn’t bother to reply.
LX sighed de-eply, while Scarlett looked down in sadness.
DYLAN’S WARD**
Ari kept smiling at her Dad.
“Will you take that smiling face from me? It beginning to get scary” Dylan laughed.
Lesley laughed too.
“No,,, I won’t” She sticked her tongue out.
“Dylan?” Phil entered.
“Oh,,, Phil…” Dylan sat upight.
“Uncle!!” Ari screamed, and hu-gged him.
“Little Ari” He stro-ked her hair.
“C’mon, Ari…Let’s leave the two to talk” Lesley said, and Ari nodded.
She held her mum’s hand.
“Babe?” Dylan called.
“Yes, hunny?” Lesley looked at him.
“Tell Scarlett” He only said.
“Sure..” She nodded, and walked out with Ari.
“Tell her what, mum? Tell her what…” Ari’s voice trailed off, since there was out of sight.
“I’m glad you are doing okay” Phil said.
“Uhm,, Thanks” Dylan smiled.
“So,,, I guess…you must have heard,, heard the story” He said.
“Yeah” Phil muttered.
“I wanna apologize for putting a hand in this. I’m so sorry” Dylan said.
“Its fine. Everything is gone. Its over” Phil said.
Dylan smiled, and quickly hu-gged him.
“Thank you”

“By the way,, Don’t you wanna know what Lesley is to tell Scarlett”

“I don’t care” Phil broke the hu-g.

“Oppa?? I heard you’re here!” Beverly screamed and hu-gged Phil, from behind.
“Here we go” Phil rolled his eyes.
“Everyone is on their way! Dad and Mum,, Yours and Mine,, Mr Dylan’s too. I hope they discuss about our marriage plans too” Beverly chuckled.
Dylan laughed.
“Aiish. Bev,,, Just go study!”
“Then,,, I’ll gladly study you” She smiled, and Dylan laughed again.
“Are you trying to fli-rt with me?” Phil laughed.
“Maybe” Beverly quickly pec-ked his cheeks.
“Aiish!!” Phil screamed, and wiped away the affected pa-rt.

“Samantha?” Marie whispered, slowly walking close to her.
Samantha glossy eyes blinked a million times.
“Um…ma” She whispered.
“Oh my baby!!” Marie shouted, and quickly hu-gged her.
“Gosh,,, My baby. I missed you. Mum is sorry, okay? She hasn’t been worthy. I’m sorry. Gosh,,, I really wanna see you pretty face” Marie tou-ched her face.
“Stop crying. It’s fine. Mum is here now” Marie wiped her teary filled face.
“I’m sorry…I really am” Samantha sobbed.
Marie hu-gged her again.
“I love you, daughter”
“Me too. I love you so much, Mum”
Scarlett smiled, wiped her tear and slowly walked out.

Oscar watched them, with a radiant smile on his face.

“I have something to confess to you” Oscar whispered and tears ran down his eyes.

“Trina forgave me for what I did to her brother. So, who am I not to forgive you. Let’s bury the hatchet and move on,,, okay?”
“Okay. Thank you” Oscar had a sad smile.

“Scarlett? Can we talk?” Lesley called her, softly.
“Uh,, Okay” She responded and Lesley sat close to her.
“So…” Lesley cleared her throat.
“Tomorrow your last day, right?”
Scarlett blinked her eyes and chuckled.
“Thanks to Dennis who manipulated Dylan, who manipulated you”
Lesley chuckled softly.
“Yeah,,, So…What’s about it?”
“Actually,,, I…I’m not a murderer…
“Yeah. You never wanted to do this”
“Yes,,, and I never did”
“Excuse me?”
“Actually, I switched the drugs. You never took those toxic drugs”
“I wish I un-derstood your point?”
“I gave you vitamins instead” Lesley said, straightforwardly.
Scarlett swallowed ha-rd.
“Pardon?”
“You aren’t dying, Scarlett” Lesley smiled, and tears freely ran from her eyes.
