EPISODE FOUR

: { Cas-sIE’S POV}

James was waiting for me in the living room when I arrived home late.

The moment I closed the door, the lights went on, illuminating the darkness of the room.

Sitting on the sofa with a mug of coffee was James. We stared at each other for a short while before he raised his wrist watch to his face and studied it.

” It’s 2 o’clock damn in the morning, where have you been?”

Taking a de-ep breath, I walked over towards him. ” Good evening, baby. Sorry I’m late.”

” Don’t baby me,” he rasped. ” Where have you been and point of correction, it’s 2.am not 2.pm.”

” I was with my friends.”

” You lie. I called Winnie and Gilda and they were both at home slee-ping in their matrimonial home with their husband.”

Seeing there was going to be some argument, I fell down tiredlessly on the couch and began taking off my shoes. ” I didn’t mentioned Winnie and Gilda.”

” Well, they are the only friends I know,” James snapped. ” Woman, you better start spea–”

” Baby,” i raised my hands in the air in frustration. ” Before you start getting all mad and upset at me, at least listen to me and hear the truth.”

James drew in a long impatient breath. His eyes were burning. ” Talk to me.”

My mind began moving pretty fast as I thought on what best to say to my husband. I was drun!kand ti-psy, he can see that. He can even smell the alcohol. ” I was with the girls at work. We went shopping.”

James eyes narrowed. ” Shopping. You and who?”

” Tarma and Jenny.”

” You guys went shopping with you coming back home by 2.am in the morning? Where are the items you bought from your shopping?”

” We didn’t really buy much,” i lied again, realizing the alcohol was ma-king me saying ru-bbish. ” Jenny took us out for shopping. I wasn’t in the mood to buy something but Jenny did. She also took me out to a restaurant to celebr@te my birthday.”

” Now why didn’t your a-ss just pick up the phone and call me you’ll be home late. And by the way, what manner of shopping will cause a married woman to arrive home at exactly 2.am in the morning?”

” I’m sorry, baby. I would’ve called you but it sli-pped my mind. My friends were Soo adamant to make me celebr@te my birthday soo well. I guess we got carried away with the celebr@tion,” I said, clumsily.

James glared at me and I could see it was with an effort he was trying not to b!ow his t©ps. ” Here’s one thing I got to know. How the hell are these women your friends when they don’t give a damn about you arriving late to your matrimonial home?”

” Baby, take it easy.”

He slammed his hand in the table. ” Don’t tell me to take it easy. Do you have any idea how worried I was? Even the kids were scared. I had to order up some pizzas to feed them. Is that supposed to be my job? Woman, I’m not going to ask you again. Where the hell have you been?!”

I bec@m£ alarmed. He was getting violent now. I have no idea when I began spilling out the truth. ” Me and the girls went dancing.”

James pu-ll-ed a face. ” Dancing?”

” Uuummm….” I bite myl-ips ha-rd , suddenly regretting why I said that.

” Wait, Wait, wait,” James drew closer towards me, looking confused. ” I’m lost here. Now earlier, you said dancing, but when I just asked, you said shopping. Tell me which one you were doing.”

I scratched the back of my head. ” Baby I must be confused.”

” Yeah right, you’re real confused. You’re drun!k. Tell me where have you been?” He yelled.

I bec@m£ frightened. ” Dancing.”

” Dancing where?”

” At a club.”

” The name of the club.”

” k!ssES.”

” What time was it?”

” I think by midnight.”

” So at first you say dancing but now you said shopping. Trying to cover up on a stupid lie, who do you think you’re fooling?!” James barked.

” Baby….”

” St©p calling me a baby,” he jumped to his feet and pointed at me. ” Do I look like a baby to you? Where the hell is this k!ssES?”

” Why are you taking things this far?”

” Because my wife c@m£ home late that’s why. Don’t tell me you got fv¢ked by another man cause you’re soo crazily drun!kI doubt if you’re in your right s-en-ses.”

My face flu-shed. He’d just hit a nerve there. ” I never sle-pt with any man. We just went there, danced and drank.”

” And then you all went shopping, right?”

” Baby, you’re ma-king me confused.”

” Where is this k!ssES?!” He demanded.

I was scared on what to do. If he finds out I went to a str!p club, he’d kill me. And so, to my horror, I decided not to tell him.

” I’m not telling you the name of the club. If you want to know about the club, go and find it for yourself.”

James eyes narrowed and he sm-irked. ” So, this is how it’s going to be, huh?”

” Baby, what more do you want from me? I’ve told you repeatedly, I am not cheating on you. I can never cheat on you. Never.”

James didn’t say anything. He simply stooped over the table, took his mug of coffee and left me.

I watched him as he walked up the stairs to our room and shut the door.

This wasn’t good. I buried my face in my palms and shooked my head. Teddy, what have you done?!

?????

{Bridget’s POV}

It was morning and I still hadn’t gotten up from be-d. I was supposed to supervise the girls in cleaning their hostel but I just didn’t feel like doing anything today.

My mind was in a whirl and I was stricken with de-sire. Ever since I got back from that str!ppers club last night, I hadn’t really sle-pt. Anytime I closed my eyes, I see him.

Teddy.

Teddy with the sky blue eyes and mysterious Aura behind his diamond mask.

Damn, I was losing it. I’ve never been this interested in a guy for a very long time.

One thing I was certain of was this, I nee-d a pri-vate session with him. But it’d cost me money. From what I heard about that guy, he was murderously expensive.

Still….

Jumping off my be-d, I ran to my savings box and broke it opened. Sitting on the floor, I counted it.

ba-rely enough. Then I remembered the my savings from the bank. Just nee-d an extra #20,000 to complete it.

Damn I was going to get broke.

So this was what Lola and her friends have been sneaking out of the school at night to enjoy. I wondered how they were able to afford their membersh!pcards.

Then I remembered Lola’s father was a rich man. No wonder.

The hours pas-sed quic-kly but my mind couldn’t get off the memory of Teddy and the feeling of him pressing up against me with his ton-gue and f!ngersdoing the magic. I couldn’t get this boy out of my head.

After a while, I took up my phone and surfed the internet. I searched for k!ssES on the search bar and many options popped out.

One of these options showed me what I was looking for and I tapped on it. I was brou-ght to their website where I tapped on a link that showed me their available str!ppers.

I went throu-gh all the profiles of all the male str!ppers. None caught my attention until I finally found who I was looking for.

Teddy.

There he was. He still wore the diamond mask but this time, he was putting on a dark jeans with chains on his n£¢k and his gold capped staff held over his ba-re che-st.

I was getting we-t for this guy. I can’t believe I was staring Soo hungrily at him this way. I instantly cli-cked on his profile. I was directed to a home page.

I was given two options. A pri-vate session with Teddy or a bachelor p@rty arrangements.

I chose pri-vate session. The payment form popped up in my face. I nearly to-re my eyes out.

All that money for only a pri-vate session? This guy was definitely the most costliest thing in the planet.

Still…..

I gathered up my savings, took a shower and stepped out of the house. I was going to the bank to complete the payment transaction and then I’ll borrow some money from my fellow teachers. I have no idea what this boy has done to me but I wasn’t going to just sit still and let this feeling plague me for the rest of my life.

The boarding school wasn’t far from where I lived. Lola and her friends would be at the hostel by now. This was Saturday so I had all the time in the world to question them about this male str!pper.

But then, first things first. I nee-d to pay this fee so I can have this pri-vate session with Teddy.

I was blended with a mix feeling of excitement and fear for I had no idea what was in sto-re for me after I paid this money. I’d be broke but hell, I’m sure it’d be worthwhile.

I was too carried away by my thoughts I didn’t notice the young boy in jeans jacket and brown p@n-ts greeting me as we crossed each others path.

?????

{ Teddy’s POV}

I greeted the woman as she walked pas-sed me. She must’ve been preoccu-pied with her thoughts to bother about me but that wasn’t my worry now.

Right now, I was worried about Simi.

She was getting worse by the week and there was little or nothing I can do about it. I’m running really short of money. I nee-ded help one way or the other to save her.

After a three street walk, I arrived at my ap@rtment. ” Simi, I’m home,” I said, opening the front door and stepping into my ap@rtment.

” Marcel?” A tiny voice c@m£ over from the be-droom.

Dropping the white package of Mr Biggs and bre-ad and eggs on the table, I moved towards the be-droom and drew back the curtains.

Simi la-id on the be-d, shivering with a white blanket wra-pped around her.

She gazed at me with a weak smile. ” Welcome home, Marcel.”

I ran up to her and felt her temperature. ” Soo h0t, don’t worry, Simi I got your medicines.”

” You did?”

I nodded, taking her in my arms. ” I also bought some Mr Biggs for you as well and bre-ad.”

She suddenly bec@m£ alive with excitement. ” Wow, I’m soo happy, Marcel.”

I carried her to the sitting room and settled down on the arm chair. ” Yeah but you’ll have to take your drugs first. How are you feeling?”

” Cold and nausea,” she shivered more in my arms.

I held her ti-ght. ” Don’t worry, you’ll be fine. Open your mouth while I administer your medicines.”

” Marcel,” Simi held my hand. ” A girl c@m£ looking for you earlier this morning.”

I frowned. ” A girl?”

” She was wearing a school uniform. I guess both of you go to the same school.”

” What’s her name?”

” I think she calls herself, Lola. She’s your clas-smate or something like that. Marcel, where have you been?”

Lola. That was one strange name. I’ve never heard anyone named Lola in my life.

” Marcel?”

I snapped out of my thoughts and faced her. ” Sorry, I lost it there for a second. What did you said just now?”

” Where have you been? It’s past seven and you looked tired and washed out.”

I ruffled her hair pla-yfully. ” I was at work all night long. Here, open up. Take your medicine.”

She opened her mouth while I administered the drugs.

Simi was my one and only family. We never knew our parents. We roamed the streets for years, feeding off garbages and leftovers from restaurants to survive. It wasn’t until we met Dada that our lives changed.

Simi was suffering from sickle cell anemia. I’ve been taking good care of her with the money I make from the str!p club. Despite the age differences between us, we were still strong enough to stick to each other against all odds.

Next year, Simi would turn fifteen. Sometimes I get worried if she’d even make it next year.

” Marcel,” Simi called opening a plate of Ice-cream. ” This your new job. What is it about?”

I regarded her. That was something I’m never going to tell her. Of all my darkest de-ep secrets, the idea of Simi knowing I’m a str!pper must never be known to her.

She must never know. Never.

” Simi, what I do doesn’t matter so long as I’m able to provide the medicine and meals.”

” But it does,” she looked worried. ” I’m not comfortable with this mysterious job of yours. I have this feeling you’re doing something bad to earn a living.”

” Simi, why would you say such a thing like that?”

” Then just tell me,” she coughed. ” Why keep it a secret? I want to know. You’ve been hiding this from me since we moved from the streets into this ap@rtment.”

I bite myl-ips ha-rd . ” Simi, what you don’t know would’nt hurt you and I don’t want to hurt you so I’d rather prefer you drop this t©pic.”

She said nothing more but I was certain she was going to ask me the same question again next time.

Due to Simi’s tough condition, she wasn’t able to go to school but I made sure I bought her a l@pt©p which she uses to go about her online lessons.

I on the other hand, go to school from home. In as much as we were living rou-gh, we were determined to be educated.

I wished above all things that I would become a graduate because one, I’d be able to get a sound good job and two, I’d st©p being a str!pper.

Because to be honest, I hated my current job.

Beep beep!!!

My cell phone was ringing. pu-lling it out of my pocket, I glared at it.

It was Dada.

Simi watched me as I excused myself and left the room. While outside, I picked the call. ” Hello?”

Dada’s voice rang in my ear. ” Hey kid, I’ve got a job for you today. Someone just paid an amount of money for a pri-vate session.”

I balled my hands in fists. ” Is it a guy?”

Dada laughed. ” Nope. A woman. I believe her name’s not important because she wishes to remain confidential about it. Well, I just got the alert right about now. You’re giving her a pri-vate session by one today.”

I felt relieved it was just a woman. I hated giving men pri-vate sessions. Last time I gave a man a pri-vate session he nearly R@p£d me.

” I will do it,” I said, checking to see if Simi was listening. ” What’s her address?”

He told me. I was startled to know this woman’s home was a little close to my street. That’s was a snag. Meaning I’d have to use a mask to hide my identity.

” So how much do I get out of it?” I asked.

Dada laughed again. He knew I always received a cut. ” We’ll discuss that later, kid. First do your job.”

And he hung up. That bastard. Soo stingy.

????

{ Bridget’s POV}

I stared unblinkingly at the message I received on my phone.

” Thanks for doing business with us. Expect Teddy to arrive at exactly 1.pm. We hope you have a plea-surable day.

k!ssES”

My eyes darted to the wall clock. It was a quarter past nine. In five hours time, he’d be here. I’ve got to get re-ady. What do I wear? What do I get for him?

I was receiving Teddy in my home Soo. I’ve got to make the best of this moment. It’s my money. I paid a hvge crazy amount for it.

I’ve got to do this. I’ve got to…..
