“Who’s he?” Angela asked, looking at Teddy like a stranger.
“Ted..dy…” Mr Salvador stuttered.

“Angela?” Jennifer muttered too, and Angela blinked again, coming closer.
“Do you know me?” She asked, looking at Jennifer and Teddy at a time.
“Why aren’t you saying anything? Do you know me?” She asked again, and tears slipped out of Teddy’s eyes immediately.
Mr Salvador quickly came to them and grabbed Angela’s hand.
“We need to leave!” He said.
“But…
“Shut up and follow me!” He shot, dragging her out.
The guy she was shopping with ran after them immediately, and Teddy’s knees became weak.
He almost fell, but thanks to Jennifer who held him tightly, hugging him.
“Calm down… please baby… just rest on me, then inhale and exhaled three times ok?” She said, and he did exactly as she told him, then he stood on his own , and she wiped his tears.
She took his mask and wore it for him again.
“Let’s go” she held his hand, taking him out of the mall
They drove back home in silence, each harbouring different thoughts in their heads.
Teddy’s head is currently in disarray, thinking of everything that happened that year.
He followed the ambulance to the hospital, and she was pronounced dead before he was arrested. He didn’t even get to see her dead body before he was sent to jail. Does that mean she survived it back then? He went to jail for nothing? And Mr Salvador has been molesting him cruelly over a crime he never committed.
Jennifer’s hands were shaking on her laps as she thought of every possibility. Now that Angela turned out to be alive, what’d become of their relationship? Is he gonna leave her to start chasing after Angela again?
They were both swimming in different ponders till they got back home.
Teddy has his own mansion now which he stays with his dad, they relocated from walkers’ mansion last week.
They got home and met Mr Tiffin with Lady Regina in the living room, she actually came to visit.
“Teddy!” Mr Tiffin spranged up immediately he saw his red face.
He rushed to him and held his shoulders.
“Anything the problem?” He asked, searching his eyes.
Teddy couldn’t talk, he only gulped emptiness.
Regina came to Jennifer and held her hands, looking for answers from her too.
“You both went out for shopping just thirty minutes ago, and now you came back with nothing but these faces?” She said.
“Angela… Angela Salvador” she muttered fearfully, and her brows moved.
“Yes?”
“She’s… she’s alive,…we saw her at the mall…” Jennifer stuttered, and their eyes widened at once.
“What!!!”

Pascal got back home after a personal photoshoot only to meet Anita in the living room with her bag, ready to leave the house.
“Nita where are you…
“I think my time is over here” she smiled, and he rushed closer
“What do you mean…
“I finally saved enough money, I can go back to college next semester, I have to leave now so I can prepare well” she smiled.
“Nita, no you…
“Please stay well and healthy, and take care of Kitty for me, I promise to come visiting before resumption” she cut him off again and carried the bag.
“You should have notified me at least, you should have…
“I’m so sorry…it came suddenly for me too, forgive me master” she said and took just one step closer to him.
She stood on her toes and pecked his cheek gently. “Goodbye” she smiled and left him, walking out of the house.
Pascal kept standing there motionless for a minute, like his brain has been evacuated from his head before he finally jerked up.
He ran after her, but she was already in a taxi, and when he began running, his phone rang, and he stopped to see it’s Kitty.
He picked shakily, and immediately he heart her shaky breaths, his eyes widened.
He ran back in the flew up the stairs to his room, only to meet her laying in bed, almost unconcious with beads of sweat all-over her face.
“Kitty!” He shouted, running to carry her in his arms. His eyes widened when her temperature burned his skin
“Kitty…
“Why did ..why did she… leave…” She whispered weakly before closing her eyes, passing out.
“Kitty!!!” He screamed, and Bristol came in.
“Kitty!” His eyes widened.
Pascal ran past him out of the room, and he ran after him.
They got Kitty in his car and drove her to the hospital where she was admitted immediately.
“She’s got sickle cell, shouldn’t you have protected her from shock or anxiety?” The doctor said.
“It was a situation I couldn’t control, her nanny left without any prior notice, so…I bet she was overly shocked…” Pascal replied breathlessly.
“Her condition right now … Mr Lane…” The doctor said.
“Talk to me…” Pascal’s eyes widened.
“It might require you to prepare for the worse” the doctor said.
“What!” Bristol and Pascal shouted at once.
“We can’t perform another surgery on her after all the ones she has went under, so …” The doctor said, and Pascal held his head as he went down on his knees.
“F**k it’s a lie! She’s the only one I’ve got left! She’s my life! Please find a way!!! Kitty!” He cried.
Bristol peeked into the ward through the glass door, looking at Kitty who’s unconscious in bed.
He brought out the bracelet in his pocket, and he began crying too.
He was planning to give her the bracelet today and start a secret relationship with her without Pascal’s knowledge, but right now… right now…
He cried more, and Pascal began laughing madly.
“No, right? She’s going nowhere!” He shouted, standing up.
He was about to go meet the doctors again when someone came in, and immediately he saw him,he stopped on his tracks.
It’s Oxford Lane, his worthless father.
“Son” he said slowly.
“What the hell are you doing here?” He smirked.
“Kitty… how’s Kitty…
“I just asked what the hell you’re doing here motherf cker!!!” Pascal shouted, drawing attention of some doctors and nurses who rushed over.
“Now you showed up after hearing her condition got worse? The last time we saw you was years ago!!! Have you ever acted like a father? You’ve been in Manhattan for three f**king months but you didn’t bother to come see us! You think I’ll be happy to see you right now?” Pascal said in tears.
Oxford swallowed nothing, staring at him in guilt.
“Pascal..
“I didn’t give you permission to talk!!! You don’t remember what you did at mum’s burial parlour? You came to her burial drunkenly and broke her framed picture!!! You muddled her burial!!! You’re an animal!!!” Pascal shouted again.
“Pascal listen to me!” Oxford snapped.
“I don’t wanna listen!!!” Pascal shouted, and he immediately held his own throat as he felt it burning.
He must have screamed too hard cos he began coughing immediately.
“Get out!” He shouted despite his coughs.
Oxford made to come closed instead..
“Out!!!” Pascal screamed again, and blood finally escaped his nose as he started going down.
“Pascal!” Bristol gasped as the doctors held him.
“Mr Lane, please you have to leave right now” the nurses said as Pascal was taken into the ward.
Oxford continued standing till his eyes met with Bristol’s, and he smirked.
“You’re a disgrace to fatherhood” he muttered and walked away.

Veronica came back in and met Cindy awake already. She actually went to the restroom.
“Cindy!” She rushed to sit beside her and began stroking her hair while Cindy stared into space.
She was sedated yesterday again when her condition got worse.
“Are you hungry? What should I make you? I promise not to add what you hate” she smiled, still stroking the hair, but the smile suddenly disappeared when Cindy grabbed her hand and brought it to her mouth, biting her again.
“Ahhhh!!!!” She screamed, standing up to run away from her.
“I love you soo much!!!!” Cindy laughed, scattering her hair before jumping down from the bed.
She began chasing Veronica around the ward, and she ran like crazy as she chased.
“Cindy come back to your senses! Cindy!!!!” She screamed as she jumped the bed.
Doctors rushed in immediately, and Cindy was captured by six strong hands.
She was sedated again.
“I… love…her” she drooled as she slept off again, falling on the bed.
“No hope again madam, we’ll have to transfer her to our rehab tommorow” the head doctor said.
“What!” Seven gasped, coming in.
She has been visiting since last week.
“I’m sorry, she’d only get wilder if we keep her here, she needs care from the right people” the doctor replied, and Veronica sat on the bare groud.
“My daughter!!!!” She cried loudly.
Seven shifted back, staring at Cindy pitifully as she fought back her tears.

Now it’s in a different location, thanks to lady Regina who gave them a new building, big and spacious than the former.
All the kids attend schools now, and getting adequate care together with granny Edgar.
Micheal refused to leave the orphanage despite Aaron’s offer to get him a house, same with Becca… Vernon promised to get her a mansion too, but she declined, they can’t possibly forsake their roots.
“Dad!!!” Danielle shouted, running down the stairs with her book.
“Yes? Any problem?” He replied from the living room where he’s playing PS with Becca.
“I’m having problems with this math assignment” she pouted.
“Take it to your mum” he replied, focusing more on the game.
“We’re both playing the game, how could you say that!” Becca replied, her fingers dancing on the control keys
They ignored her and continued playing the game, and she smirked.
“I’m waiting here!!!” She shouted, and the controls fell from them at once.
They faced her, and Becca took the book from her.
“Dear Danielle, what’s the problem you’re having?” She smiled, and Danielle showed her.
Micheal was about to join her when his phone rang, and his eyes widened when he picked the call from Vance…
“What! Angela is what!” He spranged up.
“Angela?” Becca looked up too.
“She’s… she’s alive” he stuttered, and her eyes widened.
“What!”

Teddy sat on the couch, crying profusely with Jennifer beside him, trying to calm him but it’s not working, he kept crying.
Mr. Tiffin and Lady Regina plus Aaron are in with them, planning on what to do next.
“No one can reverse the right decision for this situation, I’m getting Mr. Salvador arrested! How dare he send him to jail to face hell despite the fact that she’s alive, let’s not even talk about how he attacked him in the past! What nonsense!” Regina shouted angrily.
Mr. Sanders came in with Tanya, and Regina faced her immediately.
“Good, Tanya we’re getting that bastard of a man arrested, right now!” She shouted.
“I actually knew about the fact that she was alive” Mr. Sanders said.
“What?” Mr. Tiffin gasped.
“I got to know last year when we partnered before I travelled out, but trust me I never knew my son-in-law went to jail till three weeks ago when the revelation happened in school. Tanya suggested telling y’all about it, but i was avoiding this kind of scene, it’d surely bring back painful memories just like what’s happening right now” Mr Sanders explained, looking at Teddy who’s in tears.
“Either ways, Mr Salvador is going down tonight, I mean…that man is not a human” Aaron replied.
Michael and Becca came in next, and before a wink, all The Knights except Pascal came in.
They all left in different cars to Mr Salvador’s place, leaving Jennifer with Teddy.
Teddy suddenly stood two minutes after they left, and he left the house without a word.
“Teddy!” Jennifer ran after him and caught up in front of the house.
She held him back, and their teary eyes met.
“Where are you…. going?” She asked in a cracked voice.
“Need to be somewhere…” He replied.
“To Angela?” She asked, and he sniffed.
“Don’t go to her” she whispered, holding him tighter.
“Don’t go… please” she begged, and he slowly detached her hand from his shirt.
Without a word again, he entered his car and drove off.
Jennifer’s cheeks bulged as more tears fell from her eyes, and she squatted in her spot.
“Don’t leave me…” She muttered as she shed tears.

It was already 5pm when the squad together with the cops got to Mr Salvador’s mansion, and they met him in front of it with Angela and her boyfriend from the mall.
He’s packing their things in the car, trying to send then out of the country again.
“So…this is it” Regina stepped forward, and he froze.
“How dare you!!!” Aaron stepped forward too, locking Mr Salvador’s shirt in the front.
“What are you doing!” Angela tried pushing him away, but Aaron held so tight, choking him.
“How dare you do all that shit! What? You think you’re the alpha or what? You made him a criminal when he’s not one!!!” Aaron shouted angrily again.
“You made him feel guilty for a crime he didn’t commit, and you sent him to jail over nothing” Regina said.
“You made my son a shadow of himself for a year, you’re so cruel” Mr Tiffin said, wiping his tears.
“Animals still coexist with humans, I’m surprised” Seth said.
“What are y’all talking about!” Angela shouted, and Aaron smirked.
“I see you lost your damn memories, and it should remain that way forever, you’re the Genesis of all these shit!” Aaron snapped at her, and she shifted back in fear.
“Call the cops” Tanya told Vance, and he began dialling, but the halting of Teddy’s car stopped him.
Teddy came out of his car and entered the circle.
He took Aaron’s hands away from Mr Salvador’s shirt, and Aaron held his hands
“Ted…
“It’s all my fault” Teddy sniffed.
“What!”
“I fell in love with the wrong person, and y’all warned me back then, but I didn’t listen” he added.
“Ted…
“Dad never liked her back then, he wasn’t in support of the relationship, but I disobeyed him and went on with it, Aaron you never liked her too, and you told me you weren’t in support of the relationship, but I was stubborn till the end about it, Lady Regina warned me too, I never took any of the advices, so I think the jail term was a payment for your wasted efforts, I don’t wanna get him arrested” Teddy said, and Aaron’s hands fell.
“Leave him to live in guilt for the rest of his life” Teddy further said and faced Angela who was still looking confused beside her boyfriend.
He wasn’t able to look at her for a second before turning away, then he faced his dad.
“I’m over it, I promise” he smiled tearfully and walked out of the place.
He drove back to the mansion, crying throughout till he arrived and met Jennifer still waiting in front of the house.
She quickly stood from her squatting position, expecting the worse… Is he gonna break up now?
Teddy walked directly to her, and she held her breath fearfully.
“Let’s….” He said, and she released her breaths before breaking down in real tears
“I won’t take it!!! Don’t break up with me!!!”
“Let’s go to Korea” he sniffed, and her tears stopped immediately.
“Huh?”
“You said you wanted to go to Seoul with me and see the Han river, and I told you I’m gonna give you my answers after exams,I’m saying yes to it” he smiled, and her eyes widened.
“I just wanna leave this place… Let’s go as soon as possible, just me and you” he whispered, and she immediately ran to hug him tightly, her face stuck in his chest.
“I love you so much bear, very much” she whispered.
“I love you more, you’re the only one I see now, no one else Jenny” he replied, hugging her back as their tears fell at once.
