Ian looked at hani for a moment and she returned her innocent look, before slowly retracting his gaze at Amber, his brows looking thicker than usual.
” What do you mean?. Why would you ever say hani would never bear a heir for me!” He yelled.
” Don’t get me wrong, Ian. I gave you two options and that’s if she wants to remain alive, then she won’t get a child. And if she wants to keep a heir, she’d have to loose her life.”
” Is this some kind of traditions I don’t know about?” Hani asked.
” Perhaps, in the inhuman world of course” She smiled.
Ian left his spot, walking forward a bit with a strong glare on his face.
” I still don’t understand you, Amber” He said.
Hani walked forward and held Ian’s wrist.
” We both don’t understand what you’re trying to say. You need to explain, cos I’m so terrified” She cried.
Amber sighed, turning her backs on them.
” Listen carefully, I once made the same mistake you both did when I was younger. And guess what?, I later had to sacrifice my life for my son…”
” And why didn’t you die like you said?” He asked, raising his voice.
Amber paused for a moment before speaking up, her voice slightly cracking up.
” I..I..wish I could tell you the whole truth, Ian. But I’m bound to say nothing cos of the deal I made. if I do, I’d vanish forever, That was my deal. I don’t want to leave the human world yet, Just accept it that Hani would not survive this” She said.
” Tell me the reason or I won’t accept the fact that Hani would die and not bear a baby!!” He yelled, looking f*cking frustrated.
” Ian please.” She cried, pinching her eyes close, tears pricking at the side of her eyes.
” Then I’m not going to do anything about it if you don’t tell me the truth!. I’ll believe that since you’re alive, then hani would be fine!” He said, and Amber swallowed hard,more tears running down her cheeks slowly.
The door burst open and Aurora stood by the door, with so much hate in her eyes.
She immediately glanced at the drug in Amber’s hand and a gasp left her lips.
” So it was you!!!” She yelled.
Amber cleared off her tears and stared at the drug in her hand. She bit her lips hard, before turning to Aurora.
” What do you want!” She spat.
” H..how…did you…the drug and…”
” Let me make this clear” Amber cut off her words, walking towards her diligently before making a stop in front of her.
” For trying to poison hani and ruin her, you’d get to pay by drinking this in my presence!” She said.
” What nonsense!!.” Her eyes widened.
” Yes, Have it” Amber stretched the drug to her and Aurora stepped back in fear.
” You can’t do this to me!. You’re not even a royal and you’re ordering me around. Get Lost!!!” She yelled and turned her backs, running away as fast as she could.
Amber gaze darkened with hate for a while before she slowly turned to look at Ian who had been silently watching her.
” I’m scared, Ian. I don’t want to break the news to you. I can’t let you fight alone if I’m gone” She cried.
Ian stood there, just looking at her and he didn’t say anything. His lower chin slowly moving as he grinned his teeth.
Hani wriggled his wrist and looked up at him. He didn’t spare her a glance and when she saw he was serious, she looked away innocently.
” Fine” Amber sniffed with her forearm. ” I’ll say the truth.” She said and walked towards them, stopping only when she got to Ian.
” Just…hear me out. For just this once, Ian. I was once a maid in the palace…Vivian was my best friend and…the king saw that I was pretty and he raped me. He took my innocence when I was just sixteen years old. When he figured out I was pregnant, he married me against his other wives. Thereafter, against all odds I faced as a Queen, I bore a son for him and what I didn’t know was that in tradition, it was a curse upon my head to get pregnant as such age. I bore my only son and I didn’t even have to see my child before I died. I didn’t get to see you, Ian. The last thing i heard was your loud cries” She said, breaking into a terrible, loud cry.
Ian head exploded at the news after she proclaimed the last few words.
” Wait…What?” He gasped.
” I’m sorry for everything. I know I kept it away from you but there was no point. There was no point of you knowing about me cos I was dead and you wouldn’t want to meet or know a dead mother right?.” She cried, sniffing really hard.
” Y…you’re my mom?. I…is this for real?” He asked slowly, still in the state of shock.
” Yes, Yes my dear son” She cried, widening her arms out.
Ian quickly stepped forward but he halted when her robe began to turn into moist lathering into dust. His eyes surged by the view.
” Amber. What’s happening?” He asked.
” I told you I can’t survive it if I tell you the truth. I broke the deal I made” She said.
” No,No. You can’t just leave. I still need you, I need you the most now Amber you have to stop this!!”
” I can’t” She cried, standing still at a spot.
” I haven’t known everything yet. I still haven’t gotten enough information. You have to do something about this!!” Ian yelled.
” I warned you this would happen, Ian. I wish I could stop it but I can’t. I hope you fight the rest of your fears. I can’t be here for you anymore but Hani is with you. I’ll always be by your side, I promise. And One more thing, I love you so much too!” She said, forcing a smile.
” Wait….No!!” He yelled, trying to grab her hand but it softened into dust quickly.
Ian stood there, watching her completely fade infront of him. She just vanished right in his eyes, just like that.
” No, Mom!!!” Was the words screaming in his head right then.
His heart clenched in pain with tears brimming in his eyes. For the first time, he was crying.
He lowered his chin, pinching his eyes close as he stood there in silence, crying his eyes out.
Hani stood behind, watching him nimbly. She didn’t know how to react and what to say after everything.
Her brain was just too numb to process many feelings at the same time.
Ian immediately turned to her and she looked at him naively, staring at the tears on his face.
” It’s my fault she’s gone!!. It’s my fault, hani. I just hate myself!, I f**king do!” He cried bitterly, cupping her cheeks.
Hani immediately made a pout and hugged him tight, wetting his robe.
” We’re in big trouble, Ian. Who’s gonna help us now. I’m so scared. This is gonna be tough now she’s gone” She cried, getting stiff in his arms.

≈ROYAL STABLE≈
Xander picked his favourite white horse before stepping out with it. Queen Lisa who was waiting outside started to approached him.
” Why are you leaving so early?. You still haven’t told me your major plans” She said.
” You Don’t have to worry, when I’m back, you’ll thank me” He smiled.
” But can you just tell me where you are going to so I can be sure of your safety?” She asked.
Xander sighed.
” I’m heading to the neighbouring village.”
” Why? I mean….Is there something you want to go search for that we don’t have here?” She shrugged.
” I told you not to worry. Every plans I’ve made is for the benefit of us here” He said.
She looked around before facing him, patting his shoulders.
” Just be careful, son”
” I will. I will be back tonight or the next day” He said, climbing up his horse.
” Did you take food?”
” I’ll be fine. It’s just a day trip” He said.
” Goodluck dear” She waved with a smile.
Xander held the ropes and sped off into distance quickly.
Lisa sighed and continued to walk away back to the palace but something made her stop.
She met Ian walking towards Amber’s Court and a scoff left her lips.
She was about to walk away when she met Vivian coming out of the court too.
Her jaw dropped at the sight.
” Wait. She hasn’t left yet?” She scoffed.
She started to walk away quickly and she arrived where some guards where.
” Vivian is at Amber’s Court. Don’t make her live to see tomorrow’s daybreak” She said.
” Yes, Your highness” The two guards bowed.
” As soon as Ian is done talking with her, Attack at the slightest chance. Don’t keep me waiting, I need report” She spat and walked out of them at once.

Vivian hid below the ceramic table as the scattering and destruction continued. It’s been hours now and the guards didn’t want to give up.
They were still hooked up about searching for her.
🗣 She’s definitely in there
🗣 Continue, until we get her!
🗣 There’s no escape cos the Queen needs report of her death, or we’ll loose our lives instead!!
She shivered, hugging her bag beneath her breast. She had never felt this tensed in her entire life.
The smashing continued madly, defeaning her ears to the extreme.
She kept crying bitterly, shivering and hoping for the best. Her lashes had fell on it lids cos of the amount of tears it had absorbed.
When the destruction stopped, she could faintly hear her own harsh, fast breath.
” Should I go now?” Her mind thought.
She had seen them chop off Amber’s attendant neck right in front of her very eyes that got her so tensed.
Her feet were terribly cold causing her to shiver, and hearing about Amber’s disappearance was making her even more terrified.
When the place turned calm, she pinched her eyes close, gathering herself together. Her soul and body, coming into place.
” I have to leave, and I mean, right now” She squeaked fearfully.
She held out her bag and slowly crawled out in the most careful order. It was dark but she could still trace her steps out.
A single lamp turned on and she found herself in their midst.
They were all there, waiting for her!!.
” Ha!. We finally got her!!” One of the guards exclaimed and a large sword was brought out.
” No, Stop!!!” She could only scream.
And then, she was stabbed in the head.
Blood slowly tripped down her eyes, nose and lips as she crumbled to the floor.
She was stabbed harder again on the same spot and blood splashed all over the room heavily, staining the face of those watching.

Ian was in the pool, as the water oozed out hot vapor.
He was staying there to calm his temples, running his fingers into his wet hair.
So many things were happening, and the worst was Amber vanishing away out of sight. He was scared cos his enemies would find way to bring him to pieces now.
One of the guards approached him but he stood a far, before making a bow.
” Your highness”
” Leave!” Ian ordered.
” It’s an important message your highness” He said and Ian palmed the ceramic floor, thickening his brows.
” You can speak.”
” Vivian has left the palace and she’s nowhere to be found” He said and Ian eyes sparked instantly.
” What do you mean?” He turned to look at him.
” She was eager to leave the palace and since we couldn’t do anything, we let her leave. She’s currently missing, Your highness” He said.
Ian bit his lower lip before taking out a hard sigh.
He remembered speaking with Vivian earlier that day and she had told him she was hiding in Amber’s court away from Queen Lisa.
He wasn’t expecting her to leave that soon. He knew something was fishy somewhere.
” Tell sixteen of the guards to split up around the village and then go in search for her. If she isn’t found before twilight tomorrow, you all will
hung yourself to death. Trust me” He hissed.
” O…okay, Your highness” He stuttered before running away in fear.
Ian dipped himself once more into the water and when he pulled himself back up, he met hani opening up the glass door.
She walked in with a coy look on her face and was putting on a simple nightdress, that merged out her chubby skin.
Ian could draw out her curves just by looking at her from where he stood.
” Hani” He called, swimming to the blocks before looking up at her.
She stood there, looking at him plainly.
” I’m scared of staying alone tonight. I’ve been having bad nightmares” She explained.
” You know it’s against the rules for us to sleep together, the last time we did, we got into the trouble we’re currently facing now” He said.
” Fine. Good night!” She puffed and turned around, leaving quickly.
” Wait.” He called while getting out of the water and hani stopped without facing him.
He walked forward quickly, his long hair merging to his perfect symmetrical face…his yummy chocolate abs…and his bottom pant soaked into him, you could literally see the shape of his torso.
He hugged her from behind, soaking himself into her and hani giggled, swirling his hands tighter around her.
” I love you, baby” He blowed sweet kisses at the back of her neck gently.
” I love you too, Can I stay now?”
” Sure. Anytime, Fav” He smiled and she moved away from his body, facing him.
She started taking off her short dress and Ian looked around in panic before staring at her.
She was now exposed, except for the undies and bra she was putting on. Ian’s bump on his throat moved after he gulped.
” Hani. W..what are you doing?” He asked worriedly, standing at her front to prevent any one coming in from seeing her.
” Swim?” She blinked.
” Um…But…Y…you___”
She leaned on her toes and gave him a mind-blowing soft kiss, cutting off his word halfway.
” Let’s go swim” She gave a gummy smile, taking his hands.
Ian senses misplaced after that and he blindly followed her senselessly back to the pool.

Hani held her head dizzily as she returned back to her bed sluggishly. She just ate dinner with Ian and nothing in her was feeling alright.
She fell back on her bed on her stomach and began to sleep soundly while her whimpering softly.
Aurora walked in quickly, along with two other guards.
” Pick her and lock her up” She ordered.
” Yes, Your highness” The two bower and picked up hani from the bed.
She had weight and they had a hard time lifting her up before pulling her out of the palace.
Aurora walked closer and picked up her crown that had fell from her head, throwing it in the floor before smashing it with her feet.
” That’s how Ian would be smashed tomorrow. I trust my brother” She smiled and walked out, slamming the door.

~NEXT DAY~
Aurora got out of her room and started to leave the corridor quickly. The corridor was bubbling in and out.
Queen Lisa followed, and the rest of the Queen living in the palace as well joined.
” What’s going on?” Lisa asked as she ran out along with Aurora, panting really fast.
” Brother is here” Aurora responded.
They arrived outside and met Xander on his horse, looking like a mighty devil wanting to burn down the whole place just by flickering his thumb.
He had earlier ordered that they should all fled into a safe place away from the palace.
Lisa went in a halt when she saw him.
” What are you doing, Xander?” Lisa asked.
” Go with them, Now! Or you loose your life as well” He ordered.
” I hope your decision does fail you this time or you’ll be crumpling like a frog.” She spat.
” I’d rather burn you down than to call you a mother. Always not supportive of her son!” He scoffed.
Lisa looked at him one more time before running out of there quickly.
Xander looked away and turned to the guards who was beside him.
” Who’s left in?” He asked.
” Some few workers are still in, along with King Ian who has been intentionally drugged last night” He replied.
” And Hani?” He raised his brows.
” She’s coming” He replied.
Xander looked up and met a guard pulling Hani along roughly, pushing her in the process.
” Stop doing this to me!!. Let me go!!” She cried bitterly.
” You can burn down everything and everyone remaining now” Xander said.
” No!!!!. You can’t. Ian is in there!!” Hani cried bitterly, getting a running nose.
” Burn it, Now!” He ordered strictly.
A fire bullet was puffed into the air and flames descended on the entire building immediately.
Everything was burning, crumpling and falling apart by the incredible large fire.
The flames reflected on hani’s eyes as she watched in grief, and the next scream made her loose her voice instantly.
” Ian!!!!”
