Dumbfounded, I looked into his eyes.
Did that just come out from him?
Is this how much Vicker loves me? Is he really gonna support me in getting justice done.
“Vicker….” I sighed and hvgged him.
His hands roamed all over my back. Just then his phone began to ring.
“It’s my dad. I’m supposed to be back home tonight. ” Vicker said before picking up the call.
I watched him talk to his father on phone with so much respect.
After ma-king the call, he turned to look at me.
“Something happened here last night. My business p@rtner’s b©dy guard got sh0t in front of the conference room, although he didn’t die.
I should have left Singapore now and that delayed ma-king me find you. ” Vicker said smiling.
I looked away as he made reference on what we did yesterday night.
I was still wondering if I should tell him or not when something occurred to me.
“Business p@rtner? Who were you meeting yesterday night? Were you at the conference room yesterday? ” I asked.
” Yes. ” Vicker answered and I g@sped.
It was actually his business p@rtner we’ve been s£nt to kill?
Immediately I felt cold and shivered.
Vicker t©uçhed my arm. “Are you okay?” He asked.
“Yeah…. Fine…” I stammered. Hearing him talking to his dad made me remembered father and my sisters.
“How is my dad and my sisters doing? My dad….is he still a gardener?” I asked with a smile.
” Yes,he is. I saw him…. unhappy.” Vicker said and I smiled.
” So then….I’m still a Gardener’s daughter.”
” Everyone thinks you are dead.
But I never accepted cos de-ep down here”, Vicker whispered and took my hand placing it in my che-st and continued.

I finally laughed. Wow…I laughed? I was amused myself. It’s been so long I laughed last.

That made me scared. ” Vicker….I can’t return home with you now.
I’m no longer the Sarah everyone knows. I’m different now.” I said, looking away.

I sighed. I don’t wanna let Vicker go too. I might just go with him.
My phone began ringing on the table. How did it suddenly got there again?
Vicker must have notified he look on my face. “You forgot it earlier on at the restaurant.” He said.
“Oh.” I stood up from the be-d,arranged my clothing and walked to the table.
My heart beat accelerated as I picked up the phone and saw Tan’s number.
I quic-kly let the phone sl!poff my f!nger and moved back. I was terrified. He must be waiting for me.
“Who’s that?” Vicker asked, coming behind me.
“No…. nothing… it’s nothing.”, I stammered and picked up my phone. I switched it off she threw it into my bag.
Vicker watched me fidget. “Sarah,you are trembling. What’s wrong?” He asked bringing me close.
I wra-pped my arms around him and placed my hair in his che-st, saying nothing. “I’m fine. Just hold me.” I said with a quivering voice.
Vicker carried me back to the be-d and placed me gently on it. I looked into his eyes as he stared down at me.
“What do we do? My mom has got to pay for hurting you.” He said angrily.
He would never know I wanted a death revenge for her.
But now as I think about it,maybe handing her over to the police will be more better.
But the police would want a prove cos I know she’s gonna deny it.
” We have no prove, Vicker. I’m certain she’s gonna deny it.” I said sadly.
“We don’t fv¢king nee-d any prove. Leave it to me,Sarah. Let’s get re-ady to leave. You are coming home with me.” Vicker said and I smiled.
Home sounded so sweet to me. I thought with a smile.

I walked into my h0tel room with Sarah and found Doris alre-ady waiting for me.
Sarah st©pped by the door on seeing her. “Your girlfriend?” She asked and I laughed.
“I’ve never had a girlfriend. Not when all I think of is you ” I said and took her hand ma-king her sit.
” Welcome.” Doris nodded at Sarah with a confused look.
“We are leaving tomorrow morning. Hope you are re-ady?” I asked her going towards the drawers.
” Yes sir. Chairman called. And I told him we had a situation.” Doris said looking at me.
She must have noticed how happy I suddenly looked.
“Good. You can leave now. Make sure you have enough rest and food.” I said with a smile.
Doris smiled back and left the room after glancing at Sarah.
I went into the bathroom and had another bath. By the time I c@m£ out, Sarah was alre-ady asleep on the chair.
I walked quietly to her and bent in front of her, looking into her face.
She looked extremely beautiful and pretty with her eyes closed and mouth slightly opened. I was tem-pted to k!ssher.

She ran off leaving me behind. I almost got caught but escaped.
Master I think Sarah has betrayed you ” Aria said and my head rang like a bell.

Tom and other guys were busy sharpening some swords.
” Get re-ady Tom. We are going to Singapore and we are gonna get there tonight and bring Sarah back. She’s not far away. I can feel it ” I said angrily.
She must be kidding if she thinks I’m gonna let her go so easily after everything .

All throu-gh the night,I watched her sleep.
What would I have done if I was unable to see Sarah again?

The best morning,I woke up with an unexplained happiness.
I opened my eyes and knew why I was so happy. I finally found my heart.
I woke up fully and found Sarah wasn’t in the room. ” Sarah?” I called looking around.
Suddenly someone covered my eyes with soft hands from behind.
I smiled, knowing fully who it was.
She withdrew her hands and I turned back to look at her. She bur-sted out laughing.
I couldn’t help but smile. She looked just like the old Sarah this morning.
“I’m glad you laughed.” I said, tou-ching her hair.
“I don’t know Vicker. I’m just feeling so excited today.” Sarah said with a smile.
” Do you think we should stay behind today and explore the country before going back home?” I suggested.
Sarah frowned a bit and finally smiled. ” I had like that, Vicker. It’s been so long I laughed.” She sighed.
” I told you I was gonna bring back the old Sarah if you let me.
What do you care for? What are you gonna eat?” I asked her.
” Anything you are having.” Sarah replied.
I laughed and took the telephone then ordered for breakfast for two us.
Once I got off the phone, I called Doris and told her our trip back to America had been cancelled.
Once I was done with that,I pu-ll-ed Sarah into be-d and covered her with k!sses.

I woke up that morning feeling at ease with myself.
