Lex said no word as he listened to Madam Zuna
He finally let out a Short smile
“I will think about it Zuna,you can go” He said
“Just give me permission,I will do it myself,I will tell my son everything” Madam Zuna said and Lex frowned
“I said leave,I will take care of it whenever I want to” Lex snapped
Madam Zuna wiped her tears and walked out.
Lex gritted his teeth and scoffed

BEACH SIDE**
“There she is” Jinx pointed at Marissa who seems to be waiting for them also
Phoenix immediately stopped the car and they both got down from the car
“Rissa!” Jinx called and Marissa turned
“Girls!” Marissa smiled and walked closer to them
“Wow,you look hot. Why are you here alone?” Phoenix asked
“I came here with my boyfriend and he suddenly had to leave,I don’t want to go back to that clan right now so I called you girls since we have been planning to hang out together” Marissa said
“That’s thoughtful of you,,it was boring anyway” Jinx scoffed
“So,should we have some fun?” Marissa grinned
“Yes but definitely not a beach,I don’t like it here” Phoenix said
“But I love it” Jinx pouted
“Let’s just go somewhere” Marissa chortled
“Yeah!!” Phoenix shouted excitedly and Jinx pursed her li-ps
Marissa grabbed Phoenix’s hand and they walked back to the car
“Who’s driving?” Phoenix asked
“You of course” Marissa and Jinx said at once
“Oh…okay” Phoenix laughed
They all entered the car
“You girls should listen to how we are spending our free time” Jinx said
“Okay?”
“I heard the banquet is less than two weeks already,so first let’s go to the mall and get some hot dresses,then we should go to a restaurant,I’m starving like fu-ck,let’s go watch a movie after that,I’m sure by the time we are done there,it would be quite late,then let’s go to a club!!” Jinx said loudly
Phoenix and Marissa exchanged glances
“All on the boss lady,you’re paying every bills” Phoenix smir-ked
“Exactly” Jinx laughed
“Wait seriously,did you guys planned this? I have no money” Marissa scoffed
“That’s an insult to Venom if the boss lady doesn’t have money” Phoenix muttered
“Hey hey,I have money okay? Let’s go” Marissa said and they laughed
“Gosh,I wish everyday is like this,no stress,just have fun” Jinx sighed
“Too bad it’s a different reality” Phoenix shook her head
“Can’t wait to get that damn spy,I’m gonna crush him” Jinx scoffed and Marissa laughed
“I wonder who the fuc-kshe is” Phoenix said
“Guys,is it a guy or a girl?” Jinx asked
“Who knows” Marissa sighed.

BAR HOUSE**
Venom entered the private room where Blade was waiting for him,he already had few empty bottles in front of himI,, and he seems to be lost in thought.
“Hey,are you okay?” Venom asked and Blade looked up
He smiled
“Sit down” He muttered
“I told you to stop smiling if you’re sad or angry,it’s annoying” Venom scoffed before sitting down
There was silence as Venom watched Blade drinking continuously
“Did something happened?” Venom asked,pouring himself a gla-ss
“I somehow heard something crazy” Blade muttered and gulped down the content in his gla-ss
“What is it?” Venom asked
“My mom is alive” Blade said and Venom’s eyes wide-ned
“Really? You found her??….”
“That’s the craziest thing Michael,my mom is someone we all know” Blade said,staring into Venom’s eyes
Venom suddenly released a gasp
“It’s not what I’m thinking right?” He asked
“It is….Madam Zuna is my mom” Blade muttered and gulped down another glas-sof alcohol
Venom bite his li-ps
“I was on my way to godfather,I couldn’t go in when I heard their voices and I heard everything. My father doesn’t want me to know her as my…mom” Blade sniffed in as little tears started rolling down his eyes
“I don’t know if I should be happy or not,I still can’t believe my mom….has been working all her life in the clan and I had no idea” Blade muttered
Venom sighed and stood up from his seat,he sat down beside Blade
“Don’t cry,you should be happy your mom is alive. At least now you have both parents…….but I have no one” he muttered and touched Blade’s hair a little before withdrawing his hand
“We can share” Blade said and Venom chuckled
“Why do you think godfather kept it from you?” He asked
“What other reasons? His only excuse of course….she’s going to be a weakness because I love her….that’s the only crazy reason he always have and I am tired of it. I don’t fu-cking care Anymore” Blade said and continue drinking
Venom sighed
“You should tell madam Zuna what you found out,I’m sure she’s dying to tell you also” He said
Blade kept quiet
“Since she’s Lex’s puppet,I don’t care if she tell me or not. I will pretend like I don’t know a thing” Blade muttered and Venom nodded
“I guess so” He said
Blade smiled
“You’ve changed,is it the work of Marissa?” Blade asked
“What do you mean?” Venom frowned
“The Venom I know doesn’t know how to comfort or say soft words” Blade grinned
Venom scoffed and returned to his seat
“I’m going to confess my feelings to her too” Blade said
“Who?? Phoenix?” Venom asked and Blade nodded
“I guess I’ve waited enough,I’m going to ask her out” Blade said
“Good luck” Venom said and Blade smiled
They clink their gla-sses together before drinking

9PM>COBRAS CLAN**
“Gosh I can’t believe this” Phoenix groa-ned as they finally entered Jinx’s room
She totally drunk
“She can’t control her tipsy state but she wouldn’t stop drinking,such a crazy girl” Marissa muttered
They dropped Jinx on the bed and they also fell beside her
“I’m so tired” Phoenix muttered
“Me too,can’t believe I’ve not Seen beauty all day. I’m sure she’s asleep by now” Marissa sighed
“You should go,I’m sleeping with Jinx tonight” Phoenix smiled and started taking off Jinx’s shoes
“Goodnight” Marissa ki-ssed Phoenix cheek before walking out
She got to Venom’s suite and was surprised to see both Venom and Beauty in the living room
Beauty on Venom’s lap-s while she operated her new tablet with Venom’s guidance
“Babes” Marissa called and they both looked up
“Momma!” Beauty called happily
She got down from Venom’s lap-s and went to hug Marissa
“Do you miss me? You’re not sleeping yet? Have you eaten?” Marissa asked
Beauty nodded to all
Marissa ki-ssed her cheek
“You should go to bed,I’m going to sleep beside you until you’re asleep” Marissa said
“Okay” Beauty smiled
Marissa moved closer to Venom and pecked his li-ps
“Have you been waiting?” She asked
“No I wasn’t” Venom replied
“Really? And I was there thinking my lovely boyfriend is missing me so badly” Marissa scoffed
“I guess you had a lot of fun” Venom said
“Yeah,I’ve never hanged out with my friends but today was so fun” Marissa smiled and turned to Beauty
“Let’s go in” She said and Beauty waved at Venom
“Goodnight baby”
“Goodnight” Venom smiled,watching as they both left
“When will she stop calling me that?” Venom muttered before walking out of the suite.

TWO DAYS LATER>POWER ROOM**
“Are you getting anything?” Phoenix asked
Athena sighed and shook her head
“I think these people are using a spy outside the clan,I can’t seem to recognize her voice even after listening to it many times” Athena said
“Can I listen?” Phoenix asked and Athena handed her headphones to her
Phoenix used it and Athena played the recording
“This was her first visit,she’s really from this clan” Phoenix muttered as she continue listening
“I can’t recognize the voice either,do you think someone manipulated the voice?” Phoenix asked
“Yeah,definitely someone good with computer just like me” Athena muttered
Phoenix sighed and removed the headphones
“It’s complicated then,we need to find the spy before our next mission. We can’t keep on losing to them” She said
“I know right?? I’m tired” Athena said and sipped from her juice
“But wait,there’s no how we can see them?” Phoenix asked
“Then we have to plant a bug in there at least” Athena said and Phoenix clapped once
“Then let’s do that” Phoenix said
“That’s quite ha-rd Phoenix,we can’t go there. I am sure godfather’s eyes are on everyone,if we should go then godfather must be aware” Athena said
“You’re right,then I will tell Marissa so she can talk to him” Phoenix said and Athena nodded
Just then,Phoenix’s phone rang and she answered the unknown number
“Hey Phoenix” She heard Marissa’s voice
“Oh babe,this is not your number” Phoenix said
“Yeah” she replied
“I’m thinking of hanging out,what do you think?”
“Really? I want to talk to you anyway? Should I come with Jinx?” Phoenix asked
“No,just you. I will send the address,hurry up”
“Okay” Phoenix hanged up
“You’re leaving?” Athena asked
“Yeah,I will tell her about godfather. See you later” Phoenix said and left the room

Phoenix entered the car and drove out if the clan,she checked her phone for the address.
“Where is this?” She muttered
“Why would she wanna meet here?” She mumbled and dropped her phone before adding more speed
After what seems like an hour,she finally stopped the car and came down
She dialed the number Marissa called her with but it wasn’t going throu-gh
“Is she in here?” Phoenix said and started going in
“Marissa??” She called but got no response
She entered where seem like a large empty hall,the moment she entered she heard the door closed loudly and she turned
She walked back to the door and opened but it was locked
‘What’s going on?’ She thought and turned back
She looked up and her eyes caught with a masked man,she looked at another side and saw another one
She immediately brou-ght out her phone and dialed Marissa’s real number

COBRAS CLAN**
Marissa was leaving Lex’s apartment with Venom beside her when her phone rang
She smiled when she saw the caller
“Hey Babe! Where are you?” Marissa asked on the phone
“You didn’t call to meet up?” Phoenix asked and Marissa raised her brow
“No,what are you talking about?” She asked
“Then I think….I’ve been trapped” Phoenix said and Marissa’s eyes wide-ned
“I don’t und-erstand you”
“Someone called me using your voice that we should meet up,but I think it’s a trap,I can see some maskmen here Marissa,hurry up and come I will send you the address,I have nothing on me…..”
“Send the address right away” Marissa said and hanged up
She turned to Venom
“What is it?” Venom asked
“Phoenix….I think she’s in danger” Marissa said and immediately walked fast-er
She bumped into Athena
“Oh….Boss!” Athena bowed for them and Marissa smiled a little
“I thought Phoenix was on her way to meet you” Athena said looking confused
“I guess you were there when she got the call….fuc-kThis is crazy” Marissa muttered and walked away
Marissa and Venom entered the car
“Here’s the address,be fast please” Marissa said impatiently and Venom drove off rou-ghly

Phoenix moved back as the masked men appeared in front of her but then they appeared behind her also
In a second,she was surrounded by them.
They were about twenty in number
“Who are you guys?? Show yourself” Phoenix said
“No need of doing that,you’re dying anyway” One of them said
Phoenix keep her eyes on all of them
Each holding heavy weapons while she had nothing,not even a gun.
‘Marissa hurry up’ she thought inwardly
“Kill her” One of them said and immediately they started going against her In groups
Even though she had no weapon in her hand,she still fought them.
They keep increasing and soon she was getting tired,but she didn’t give up,she continue fighting them.
She let out a groa-n as a sharp knife was shoved into her tummy,she held her tummy but another one stabbed her from the back and she fell on the floor
She began bleeding heavily.
She inhaled and exhaled before getting up again,she suddenly got a new strength
“I see you aren’t giving up”
“She don’t want to die peacefully,Cobras are like that” Another said and they laughed
The fight started again and they were surprised,Phoenix managed to hijack a sword from one of them.
“If I were you….I will get lost right now” She muttered,moving back as they followed her
“Get her” one of them said and they all charged toward her again
She was getting the upper hand but the pain in her tummy was becoming unbearable already but she didn’t mind.
She suddenly noticed one of the masked men in front of her was talking with his eyes
Before she could turn,a heavy metal plank landed on her head.
Her vision became blurry at first and she stood still,the sword in her hand fell on the floor and she grabbed her head with her hands. She groa-ned in pains
But then her head was hit with the metal again,she could see the blood rolling down from her head,she couldn’t talk. Her hands shaking,her soul leaving her body,she could feel her whole body shaking.
The metal hit her head the third time,throwing her rou-ghly against the wall before she landed on the floor unconsciously.
She was motionless,the blood kept rushing out from her head,the pain increased and her heartbeat started getting low,her eyes finding it ha-rd to remain open
“That’s enough,she won’t definitely survive that” Phoenix heard a voice from the stairs and she managed to open her eyes
Her eyes met with Midnight who released an evil smirk before walking away
The masked men dropped their weapons and also left her there alone in her pool of blood.
Phoenix closed her eyes weakly

“It’s here” Marissa said and Venom stopped the car
They both ran in
Marissa tried opening the door but couldn’t
“I think she’s here….Michael…do something” Her voice was shaking already
Venom pushed the door heavily with his leg and the door opened loudly
Marissa’s eyes met with blood all over the floor,and finally she saw Phoenix at one end,lying unconsciously on the ground with pool of blood around her
Her eyes wide-ned
“Phoenix!!!!!!!!!!” She screamed and ran to her
She got to Phoenix and bent down immediately
“Phoenix…” She carried Phoenix’s head
“Phoenix please open your eyes…..Phoenix!!!!! Phoenix please!!!” Marissa cried out loudly,shaking her body
Suddenly Phoenix’s eyes opened almost impossibly
“Phoenix….” Marissa swallowed
Phoenix smiled sadly and tears rolled down her eyes
“B……bes…..tie” She stuttered in pain
“No…..Phoenix please…..Phoenix… ” Heavy tears poured down from Marissa’s eyes
“They…..are….from Gunner……I saw….Midnight……” she stopped as the pain grew worst
“Destroy……them all” Phoenix said
“No!!!!!! You should stay and do that yourself!!!!” Marissa cried
“I’m sorry…..I can’t”
“No!!!!!!!!!!! Please stay with me…..Phoenix please don’t do this to me…..please…..”
“Tell Brandon…….I love him so much….”
“Phoenix you need to tell him yourself…. Please stop talking….you will be fine….” Marissa stopped when Phoenix’s body became still in her hand
“Phoenix…..” She shook her body but it was still
“Phoenix no….Phoenix please…..Phoenix!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” She screamed out and moved back immediately
Her whole body shaking as she stared at Phoenix’s already lifeless body on the ground
It was as if her own soul was leaving her body also
“No…..” She shook her head,tears rushing down helplessly
“Not you……Not you Phoenix….” she moved to Phoenix’s body again
“Phoenix….stand up let’s go please” Marissa stammered as she cried bitterly,trying to hold Phoenix’s cold hand
“Phoenix!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” Marissa screamed out in horror
