Fine I did. I never forgot about you Tiana, after I almost harmed you, I wanted to push you away by saying I don’t remember anything about you”
“What” Tatiana muttered as her eyes slowly began to form tears.
Cheng sighs and walked closer to her.
“I’m sorry Tiana” He said, but Tatiana landed a hurtful slap on his face. Cheng touch his face and sighs.
“Yeah, I know I deserve it. I was so hurt when I was being controlled to harm Tiana, that’s why I chose to act like I can’t remember you, so you could stay away from me”.
“Was that the best option huh? Do you have any idea how hurt I was when you said you don’t remember me? I felt like dying Cheng!!” Tatiana shouted at him, slowly letting her tears fall down her eyes.
“I’m sorry Tiana. I did that to protect you” Cheng said with a pleading voice.
“You did that to protect me? And yet you didn’t consider how I was going to feel. You are not the only one who gets to decide Cheng”
Cheng tried to hold her hand, but Tatiana snuggled backward.
“I’m sorry Tiana. Sorry I made you cry, but I promise is never going to happen again. I won’t make you cry from today henceforth. I just wanted you to stay away from me, but I can’t stay a day without seeing your face” Cheng said with pleading eyes.
Tatiana snickers hurtfully, cleaning the tears in her eyes.
“Better get used to not seeing my face from now on Cheng” She said.
“W-what do you mean by that Tiana?” Cheng asked.
“You want me to stay away from you, right? I am going to grant you your wish. Since you played dumb by saying you don’t know me, I am going to do the same” Tatiana said and turns to leave, but Cheng quickly held her hand.
“I’m sorry Tiana, you don’t have to ignore me”
“But you did right?”
“Yes I did, but that’s why I’m apologizing to you. I’m sorry pretty damsel” Cheng said touching her cheek, but Tatiana slapped his hand off.
“That’s not going to work on me Cheng. When I was growing up, a lot of people complimented on my beauty” Tatiana said
“And who the heck were does guys?” Cheng asked sounding angry.
“I never said they were guys” Tatiana said.
“Really? That’s good to know then” He said smiling.
“Don’t smile at me. I haven’t forgiving you for making me waste my tears, thinking that you forgot everything about me”
“I understand. How many seconds will it take to forgive me?” Cheng asked
“Two weeks”
“Two weeks? I am going to die before then Tiana” Cheng said.
“Then die” Tatiana said.
“Seriously you are going to be happy if I die?”
“At least I will be able to perform rites and rutuals in your funeral. Avoid me, because I don’t want to talk to you. I will just do like you have said, staying away from you” Tatiana said.
She takes her hand from Cheng and tries to walk away, but Cheng held her again.
“Please Tiana, I am sorry” He said with a pouting li-ps.
“Let go of me this instant or I won’t talk to you for one month” Tatiana said seriously, and Cheng quickly let go of her.
“I am sorry Tiana” He said in a baby’s voice.
“Sorry for yourself” Tatiana said and walks away.
“Tiana”
“Call my name again, and I won’t forgive you till two months time” She said, and Cheng kept mute blinking his eyes.
Tatiana shot him a glare and finally walked out from his sight.
“I know I don’t deserve her forgiveness, but not talking to me for two weeks will land me in a lovesick situation. I almost died when I said I didn’t remember her. How can I survive without kis-sing her soft li-ps?”
“Tiana, I am sorry” Cheng whines like a baby going after Tatiana.

⟨ THE KING’S CHAMBER ⟩
“Has Cheng agreed to stay here in the palace?” King Osvaldo asked.
“He said he is going to think about it, but I am sure he is putting it into consideration” Waylon said.
“That’s good to know then. I hope he stays here in the palace, I want to make up for neglecting me at the time he needed us the most”
“Same here father, and thankfully, he is slowly bonding with me just like ten years” Waylon said smiling.
“Of course he has to, you were his favorite brother ten years ago” Queen Vanya said entering the king’s Chamber.
“Greetings my King” She said bowing to the king, and the king smiled at her.
“Thanks a lot Queen Vanya for supporting that Cheng should remain in the palace, I’m happy you’re not protesting like Queen Anjali and Thiago”.
“Cheng is like a son to me, your majesty. One thing I want is to see a complete family” Queen Vanya said smiling.
“And I want to help him, mother” Waylon said, and both King Osvaldo and Queen Vanya looked at him.
“Help him with what?” Queen Vanya asked.
“Finding the witch that possessed him” Waylon said.
“The witch?” King Osvaldo asked.
“Yes father. I believe Cheng was possessed. We have been quiet for the past ten years and we shouldn’t remain quiet now. The only way to make it up to Cheng, is to find the witch controlling him to be evil” Waylon said.
King Osvaldo nodded his head in agreement to what Waylon said.
“That’s a great idea Waylon. But is definitely going to be hard” Queen Vanya said.
“I know that mother, but I won’t give up on making sure Cheng becomes a normal human being again”.
“I am so proud of you son” King Osvaldo said.
“Thanks father. I will be taking my leave now” Waylon said and leaves the king’s chamber.
He went back to the room Cheng was in, but he wasn’t there, and the bed was neatly arranged.
“Did he go back to the cottage?” Waylon muttered with a sad face.

Cheng actually didn’t go back to the cottage, he was looking for Tatiana around the palace, to continue pleading with her to forgive him.
He was still on it, when he sighted Jai seated with Marcellus, as he was being tutor.
Cheng looked at Jai and he could see his little self in Jai. He smiled lightly before entering the study room.
“Brother Cheng” Jai said excitedly, and went to hug Cheng. Cheng was indeed surprised that Jai hug-ged him, he least expected it.
“What are you doing here Brother?” Jai asked smiling.
“Well… I was just walking around the palace” Cheng said.
“Are you finally agreeing to staying here in the palace? Please stay here in the palace Brother, I want to get to know you” Jai said smiling.
“Well I….”
“What the heck are you doing here!!” Queen Anjali yells, coming inside the study room with Thiago.
“I was just talking to Brother Cheng” Jai said, and Queen Anjali quickly dragged Jai to her side.
“Are you trying to possess my son?” Queen Anjali asked, and Cheng shot her a hateful glare.
“Just because the king approved for you to stay here in the palace, doesn’t mean you are allowed to talk to my Brother” Thiago said.
“He wasn’t doing anything wrong Brother Thiago” Jai said.
“Shut up Jai! You don’t know how evil he is. To your room, now!!” Thiago yelled out Jai, and Jai left the study room with a sullen face.
“Stay away from my son” Queen Anjali said and leaves the study room.
Thiago looked at him, and when Cheng furrowed his eyebrows, Thiago quickly left.
Cheng sighs and was about leaving the study room, but he was stopped by Marcellus’s voice.
“Prince Cheng” He said.
Cheng turns to look at him. “Who are you?” He asked.
“I’m Marcellus, Prince Jai’s tutor” Marcellus introduce himself to Cheng.
Cheng looked at him, and nodded his head.
“How is Tatiana?” Marcellus asked.
“How did you know Tiana?” Cheng asked already getting Jealous, that another man apart from him knows Tatiana.
Marcellus smiles when he noticed the jealousness in Cheng’s voice.
“You don’t have to be jealous Prince Cheng, because I don’t even know what Tatiana looks like, I only know her name”.
“How did you know her name?” Cheng asked curiously.
“She is the best friend of Swati. Swati works under me and she is a little bit worried about Tatiana”.
“Tiana is fine. So tell her not to worry” Cheng said, and was about leaving the study room, but he came back again.
“Don’t even think about talking to Tiana, if you want to help Swati find out if Tiana is okay, come to be instead and I will tell you everything” Cheng said sounding serious.
“Wow, you are one heck of a jealous lover” Marcellus said sarcastically.
“I won’t deny that, so if you don’t want your body to turn upside down, don’t even go near my bride” He said, more like a warning.
“Relax man. I’m not planning on talking to Tatiana. My job here is to tutor the last prince of Maelstrom. I won’t be asking after Tatiana if not for Swati” Marcellus said.
“Then we are on good terms”.
Marcellus smiles. “The hearsays about you aren’t true. You are different from what I heard”.
“I am a normal human being if I am not being controlled” Cheng said.
“Aah, I see. Is it okay with you if we practice archery together when next I come to the palace? Is my favorite” Marcellus said smiling.
“Same here”
“That’s cool Prince Cheng”
“Just call me Cheng”
“But you are a prince”
“I am not use to that title since I didn’t live like a royal breed for ten years”.
“Alright Cheng. So is it a yes?” Marcellus asked smiling.
“Let’s see about that” Cheng said, and slowly smiled.

Narmada smiles as she walks side to side with Zain in the woods, and then she spotted a dizi inside the side of his Kimono.
“What is this?” She asked bringing out the dizi.
“Is nothing Narmada” Zain said trying to take it from her, but Narmada hides it behind her.
“Do you play dizi (traditional way of saying flute)?”
“No I don’t” Zain answers sharply.
“Then why do you have this dizi with you?” Narmada asked.
“Is…. Is for someone” Zain said feeling shy.
“There’s nothing to be shy of, if you can play dizi so well”.
“I just said it’s for someone”
“And you think I was going to buy that lie of yours? I want to listen while you play the dizi” Narmada said giving it back to him.
“I don’t know how to”
“Of course you do. You won’t be carrying it around if you don’t how to play it. C’mon Zain don’t be shy” Narmada said urging him to take the dizi from her.
Zain having no option takes the dizi from her, and both sat in a rock together.
“Don’t laugh at me, okay” Zain said.
“I won’t. Go ahead” Narmada said wiggling her eyebrows.
Zain sighs and slowly began to play the dizi, with his hands moving up and down, while Narmada watch him, admiring how handsome he was.
Zain ended the song he was playing with the flute, and Narmada joined her hands together smiling.
“You’re so good Zain”.
“Thanks Narmada”
“Why were you shy when you are so good at playing the dizi? Do you know how ha-rd it is to play the dizi?” Narmada asked and Zain smiled.
“What was the song all about?” Narmada asked.
“A love that came to me unexpectedly”
“Really?” She asked.
Zain nodded his head, staring de-eply into Narmada’s brown eyes, and slowly he began leaning towards her li-ps.
Narmada close her eyes ready to taste Zain’s li-p. And just when their li-ps were about colliding, they were interrupted by Anisha’s voice.
“Isn’t it too early to be kis-sing?” She asked.
Narmada almost fell down from the rock she was sitting on, but Zain was quick to hold her hand.
“Anisha”
“Oh, brother is you. You didn’t tell me you have a lover already,” Anisha said approaching them.
“You know her?” Narmada asked.
Zain sighs and said. “She is my little sister I told you about”.
“You are Narmada, right?” Anisha asked and Narmada nodded my head.
“Are you in a relationship with my brother?” She asked.
“Hmm no” Narmada said.
“Thank God you aren’t. My brother here su-cks when it comes to women”
“Shut up Anisha” Zain said.
“Sadly you know I can’t shut up when you ask me to. You shouldn’t be in a relationship with my brother Narmada. He is too dull for my liking. I’m sure he won’t be able to satisfy you on your wedding night, because he is one heck of a shy guy. Do you know he fainted few months ago, just because a courtesan touch his cheek? He didn’t wake up for three days” Anisha said, and Narmada laughs so hard.
Zain took up from the rock he was sitting on, ready to smack Anisha.
“I love you brother!” Anisha screamed and took to her heels.
“What she said just now is not true” Zain said.
“I know” Narmada said laughing.
“Then why are you laughing?”
“Because is funny” Narmada said laughing the more, and Zain admired her little round beautiful face.

⟨ ISHA’S CAVE ≈ NIGHT ⟩
“Waylon wants to find me?” Isha asked.
“I thought you knew that already, since you are watching Cheng?” The person in the veil asked.
“I can only watch him when I wake up his demon, and you know that already” Isha said.
“So what should we do?”
“Kill Waylon before he finds me”
“Are you crazy? I can’t afford to lose my son. I love him more than anything in the world. So better find a way so he doesn’t find out you exist. Am I making myself clear to you?” The person in the veil asked.
“Noted”
“And about Cheng staying in the palace, is that necessary?”
“We will see about that” Isha said.
“What about Tatiana? Any idea if she has the powers of the heavens?” The veiled person asked.
“Is not confirmed yet. Like I said earlier, a power stronger than mine, is protecting her” Isha said.
“Do you have any idea what kind of power is protecting her?”
“I think is the powers of the heavens” Isha said.

⟨ BACK IN THE PALACE ≈ NIGHT ⟩
Tatiana was walking around the palace premises when Cheng covers her eyes from behind. Tatiana frowns and match his foot.
Cheng gro-ans, hopping on one foot. “Why Tatiana?”
“I told you not to talk to me till two weeks time” She said.
“I can’t do that Tiana. I have been apologizing since morning, what do you want me to do? Bring down the moon for you? I will gladly do it”
“Alright then, bring down the moon”
“Huh?”
“You said you can bring down the moon for me, right? So bring it down” Tatiana said, folding her arms under her b**bs.
“You know that’s impossible, right? I have dark powers, but that doesn’t mean I can bring down the moon from the sky. Only the deity can do that”.
“Then don’t talk to me till two weeks time” Tatiana said walking away.
Cheng moves his eyes, and Tatiana’s feet instantly glued to the ground. She tried to move, but couldn’t.
Cheng smiles and walked up to her.
“Tell me you forgive me, and I will set your feet free from the ground”.
“Unleash your powers on me now!”
“Do you forgive me?” He asked.
“No”
“Alright, sleep here” Cheng said attempting to leave.
“Hey!! You can’t leave me here, release me now!”
“Am I forgiven?”
“Never, no” Tatiana said stubbornly.
“Fine then, have a goodnight sleep here, beautiful damsel” Cheng said and winks at her, before walking away.
“Come back here Cheng, don’t leave me here!” Tatiana said struggling to walk, but her feet stayed glued to the ground.
“Cheng!!!!”
