? Chapter 13 ?

? Brian ?

Apparently, my head was ban-ging so hard, I didn’t know if it was from the wine I had or from thinking too much about the make out between, Charlotte and I.

She was drunk, obviously but the ki-ss felt real. It felt like she knew what she was doing. I lost control too. I let my horny self take control of me. F.uck it! I groa-ned, stomping my foot on the floor continuously

She had asked me to go look for her friend downstairs. Damn, that would be a lot of work. I headed for the stairs, with one of my bouncers to go look for Zoey.

As expected, the party room was full, with drunk people and half drunk people. They were doing crazy things, or falling off on each other. From the corner of my eyes, I saw a girl crying by a corner. She was cuddling herself, and rocking back and forth on her chair. I couldn’t make out the girl because of the disco light in the room, plus her long, scattered hair was covering her face. Maybe that was Zoey. I began to walk towards her.

An arm pulled me from behind, making me crash into the person. What the hell?! My bouncers had managed to pull me off the person. As expected, it was a lady with a strong deodorant that was almost choking me. She was screaming as they were dragging her out of the club. She was punching the air with her legs and arms effortlessly. It was normal seeing girls go cray cray because of me.

I approached the crying girl. As I got closer, I got a better view of her. It wasn’t Zoey, just a random girl I do not know. She looked out of place. She wore tattered clothes, unbrushed hair that looked like they haven’t been touched in years, and weird make up. Christ, how did she even get past the bouncers.

I studied her closely, but couldn’t und-erstand what was wrong with her. She looked like a weirdo. She definitely missed her way.

I drew a chair closer to her and tapped her softly. She looked up, eyes wide open in fear, hands shaking. Her face was soaked with tears.

“Who are you?” I yelled into her ears. She shook. I blinked, suddenly scared of the weird girl in my clubhouse.

She never said a word, instead she sat transfixed in a position, with her mouth and eyes wide opened.

To be honest, I was becoming scared of her. I signalled for my bouncers to take her out if she doesn’t want to speak.

I watched my bouncers throw her out. Well, gently and not for-cefully. She wasn’t even struggling with them. She had turned back briefly, looked at me and walked out leaving my bouncers behind. I was suddenly conscious of my surrounding. Fear had gripped me from my experience with the weirdo.

“We don’t know her boss.” One of my bouncers said immediately they approached me. His voice was shaking in fear.

“Be careful or y’all get sacked.” I warned and began searching throu-ghthe crowd for, Zoey.

I was becoming frustrated as I couldn’t find Zoey. Why the hell did, Charlotte leave her all alone? I really hoped she was safe. I decided to check outside the clubhouse. I took a walk to the back of the club, there I sighted a girl being pressed against the wall. She was struggling with the said guy, who looked like he was drunk. I recognized the girl to be Zoey. Immediately, I ran to the scene and dragged the guy away from her. I recognized him, he was a cousin to one of my friends.

“Bro!” I half yelled at him. He staggered and lost his balance, causing him to land his bu-tt on the floor. He was definitely drunk…. So was Zoey. I asked my bouncers to take care of him, while I attended to Zoey.

I carried her bridal style and back into the room I had kept, Charlotte.

Charlotte was already sound asleep by the time I arrived. She was snoring softly, with her mouth slightly open.

I couldn’t help but admit how beautiful looked. She looked so captivating even in her sleep. Her long lashes laid on her cheekbone. Her curved, soft, pink li-ps were begging me for a ki-ss.

My mind quickly raced back to the ki-ss we shared few minutes ago. Although she was drunk, the ki-ss still felt heavenly. I could still feel her li-ps pressed against mine, and our tongues, fighting each other. Of all the ladies I had made out with, Charlotte was the best. If she was so good in ki-ssing, what about in bed. OMG, she’d be so f.ucking amazing.

I couldn’t get the image of a n.aked Charlotte, riding me fast till she climaxed. My d.ick twitched und-erneath my und-erwear.

I laid Zoey, peacefully on the bed, threw a blanket over them and turned to leave. I stopped when I reached the exit door to stare at Charlotte.

Her innocent face was up facing the ceiling. She looked so innocent when she was asleep, unlike the Charlotte who was filled with so much pride and disgust for people.

I closed the door behind me and walked back to the VVIP room. My friends were still there, some already wasted. Some random girls were already on the table with them.

“What took you so long, champ.” Ashton asked. Ashton, was the only guy who wasn’t drunk. Infact, he never took any alcohol throu-ghout the night. He wasn’t a lover of alcohol, and hardly took them. Whenever we were out, he always took the responsibility of bundling us the drunk guys into the cars and drove us home.

“He had to have s£x, duhh.” A fully drunk, Gary joked.

I shook my head with a smile on my face. I reached for the bottle of almost finished wine on the table. I went ahead to fill my cup to the brim.

My cup of wine was snatched away immediately. I turned to look at Ashton, who had already drank half of the wine. Hell no, he didn’t just do that!

“Sorry, you’ll have to take care of us all.” He blew me a ki-ss and went ahead to pour more wine for himself.

My face squ-eezed. I should’ve rushed the drink instead, now I have to deal with so much adults and their girlfriends who were obviously gonna get so f.ucking drunk with them.

? Chapter 14 ?

? Charlotte ?

A tiny body was on my leg, restricting me from moving my body. I groa-ned and tried to push the body off me but the person wouldn’t leave. I looked down to see Zoey, sleeping peacefully on my leg. I shook my leg, causing her to groa-n.

“Get the fu-ck off.” I yelled.

She jumped up with wide eyes, looking around like a crazy person. I almost choked from laughing too much. Admiss laughing, I felt bile rushing to my throat. Oh no. I jumped off the bed and ran into the toilet. I bent down, tilted my head and poured down every content I had in my stomach. Damn, hangover really be messing with me. I walked to the washbasin and washed my mouth and face.

I stared at my reflection on the mirror. Few strands of hair were plastered on my cheeks and forehead, I had dried saliva on the side of my mouth, und-erneath my eyes I had eye bags, my eyes still looked sleepy. My face was looking so pale and stressed. I really should stay away from alcohol.

I walked back to the room to find Zoey curled up on the bed. Her phone was on her left ear. She was talking in whispers hence I found it difficult to make out what she was saying.

She didn’t look bothered, so I carried on to do other things.

My gown reeked of alcohol. I had to change or perhaps get a perfume to kill the weird smell that was almost making me throw up.

“I have to leave. Mum needs me home.” Zoey said, shoving her phone into her bag.

I gave her a knowing look, knowing everything might not go well between her and her bittered, wicked as-smother. “You’ll be fine, right?”

She nodded softly, with a twisted li-ps. She played with her fingers continuously before looking up at me. “I hope so.” She flashed me a smile that obviously looked for-ced. She picked up her bag, sli-pped it und-er her armpit, and gave me a small smile.

“Can you hold on a bit so I can drop you off?” I called after her as I attempted to dial Brian’s number at least to let him know we were leaving.

“Oh no.” She cut me off with a smile, “Mum doesn’t want me to be seem around you, plus she would kill me if I spend more than the time she gave me. Please Char, und-erstand me.” Her eyes were already filled with tears. The girl looked stressed from all her parents were making her go throu-gh. She wanted to be free like every normal adults like her. It was heart breaking to watch my best friend go throu-ghall these

Truthfully, I was hurt. Her words sent daggers into my heart, stabbing it continuously. I still did not get the fact why Zoey’s mum hated me so much. I never did anything wrong to her or her family. I had been the best friend I could be for Zoey. The hate was something I couldn’t wrap my head around. Still, her mum’shate towards me wouldn’t stop the friendship and love I had with her daughter.

“Okay. Call me if anything goes wrong.” I said to her. She nodded and left.

I prayed she’d be fine. She was a sweet soul that deserved a better life away from her bad energy parents.

I went ahead to dial Brian’s number. He didn’t pick up. I called three more times, still he never picked up. I let out a frustrated groa-n and picked up my bag from the bed and went into the bathroom.

I opened my bag and brou-ght out my powder. I dabbed it on my face , applied some mascara and eyeliner as well. I applied a little bit of li-pgloss and packed up all my makeup back into my bag. I looked better, not like some scary old lady. I used my fingers to comb and arrange my dry hair. Perfect.

I heard my phone ringing in the room. I rushed for it. It was Brian. Phew, finally.

“Hey.” I greeted, walking back into the bathroom to pick up my bag.

“Charlotte, is this you?” He sounded sleepy. Damn, his voice gave me goosebumps. He really got that bedroom voice.

“Yes, Brian. Where you at, I’m ready to leave.”

I heard shuffling, door sound, before he replied. “So soon?”

I paused. What does he mean by so soon? I mean, I ain’t gonna be here till the next day. “What do you mean?”

“We should go out for breakfast, you know, let’s go have fun.”

I almost choked on my laughter. Jeez, men can be so extra most times.
“I haven’t brushed yet, or taken my bath. I also need to change from This skimpy cloth.”

“I got you covered.”

A knock sounded on the door. I was convinced it was Brian. I walked to pull the door open.

Brian stood there, in just a hoodie and faded blue jeans. His hair was messy, but still made him look so hot.

“Can I come in?” He asked. I looked up at him to see him smirking at me. He caught me staring. Embarra-ssment flushed throu-ghme like a wildfire. My cheeks were burning from the redness. I sure knew I looked like a tomato.

I moved away from the door and he came in. He looked around the room and raised his eyebrows at me.

“Where’s Zoey?”

“She had to leave.”

“Why? I wanted to take y’all out for breakfast.”

Aww… That was so thoughtful of him. It was sad Zoey left. She had always wanted the opportunity of going out for breakfast, lunch or dinner with him. It was a shame her mum had go ruin it with her irrelevant call to order for Zoey’s attention. I sure knew she was gonna say hurtful words to Zoey.

“Her mum had to call her.” I said with so much irritation in my voice. I was overly irritated by her weird a-ss, bittered, wicked mother. She had always found a way to hurt Zoey. Hurting my best friend meant hurting me. “We could perhaps take her out whenever she’s less busy, or free from her… Mother.” I took a pause when I got to pronounce ‘mother’, to show my irritation.

“Why do I feel like you have a personal beef, with Zoey’s mum.”

I sighed and rolled my eyes. “We don’t just get along. Not something too personal.” I said with a dismissing voice. Talking of Zoey’s mum would make me puke. She irritated me so much that I couldn’t stand her. Yes, you can’t hate Charlotte Hudson without getting same energy from me. I do not smile with my enemies. I never smile to random people anyways.

“Okay. I’ll have someone send some clothes, toothbrush and some und-erwear.”

“Thank you.”

He gave me a smile and walked away.

I picked up my phone and called mum. She picked up immediately.

“Where you at?” She asked immediately she picked up.

Oh God, mother’s could be so annoying sometimes.
“I ain’t a baby no more mum.”

“I know, at least you could have called. And what’s the news of you having a celebrity boyfriend?”

My mum had always been scared of me having to date anyone after Noah. The situation between Noah and my I were about to die down. It was still hanging in many people’s throats. Some were still throwing banters that I deserved it. Some said my pride and arrogance made me loose someone like Noah. How some praised him for escaping baffled the shit out of me. Still, I had strong, huge fan base that felt my pain. They were happy I was with Brian now.

“Chill mum, just be happy I’m happy.”

She sighed heavily. I knew she wasn’t having any of it. “Come home soon, we have to talk.” She hung up immediately.

Oh boy, I was in for some long, boring lecture.
