TWO DAYS LATER**
It’s been two days since the incident,after Matilda received the most painful punishment ever,the king gave an order and she was exiled from the palace.
The palace seems to be more quiet now,it’s all calm and cool.
Lisa and Suzy Walked out of the room,she’s also leaving the palace today as ordered by the king. A palanquin was outside waiting for her already.
“I’m going to miss you” Suzy muttered
“Me too” Lisa said and Suzy hug-ged her tightly
“I will definitely find ways to meet you some times,I promise” she said
“I will be waiting” Lisa smiled
They hug-ged one last time before Suzy entered the palanquin
“Can we leave now,my lady?” The carriers asked
Suzy waved at Lisa again
“Yes you can” She finally said and they took off immediately.
Lisa stood there,staring until the palanquin was totally out of her sight
She sighed and turned back only to see Eleanor standing there with her arms crossed
“Hey…..”
“I see your friend is finally gone princess” Eleanor said and scoffed before turning to leave
Lisa immediately grabbed her hand
“You can’t leave,we are friends” She said and Eleanor frowned
“I don’t think so” She said and snapped her hand from Lisa before walking away
“Hey Eleanor!” Lisa followed her
“Wait!! Listen to me okay?”
She continue following her till they got to her room,Eleanor didn’t wait,she entered her room,before she could close the door Lisa entered with her
“Why can’t you just stay away like you’ve been doing for the past few days!” Eleanor shouted
“I’m sorry” Lisa said
“Sorry? Just because Suzy left now……”
“Why can’t you just try to understand me?? I know I was wrong neglecting you guys,but second options…..”
“No Eleanor,that’s not it. If I had ignored Suzy just like everyone else,that wouldn’t be nice. We were good friends,I wish you guys got along well too,she’s actually a sweet person if you get to know her,I’m just saying…….I’m sorry Eleanor,forgive me okay? You can’t start ignoring me too,you are all I’ve got now,Adelaide is mad at me” Lisa pouted
“I’m also mad at you” Eleanor roll her eyes
“Come on pretty,you know how much I love you right?” Lisa asked and Eleanor squinch her nose
“Fake” she scoffed
Lisa hug-ged her immediately
“I love you” She muttered
Eleanor smiled and hug-ged her back
“I love you too” She said
“So now,we are cool?” Lisa asked after they broke the hug
Eleanor nodded and they sat down
“Now I’m left with Adelaide” Lisa gro-aned and fell on the bed,
“How about making her a special dish?” Eleanor asked and Lisa sprang up
“Really??”
“Yeah,let’s do that. Trust me” Eleanor winked at Lisa immediately nodded
******
ADELAIDE’S SUITE**
“My lady…..”
“Leave” Adelaide cut Mia off before she could finish
The maids exchanged glances
“But my lady,you have refused to eat,please eat something at least” Eva muttered
“I don’t have an appetite,just leave me alone okay?? Go away” Adelaide said and covered herself up with the duvet.
The maids walked out of the suite and seconds later,King Lucian came in
“I told you all to leave me alone” Adelaide gro-aned
Lucian sat down with her on the bed and she raised her head up
“Lucian” She called
“Are you okay?” Lucian asked
“You left me all alone” She pouted sadly
“You told me to stay away from you,I couldn’t stop thinking about you but you kept pushing me away” Lucian replied
“You think I really meant what I said? I missed you” She mumbled and got up on the bed,she sat on Lucian’s laps and wrapped her arms around his neck
“I missed you too,but you need to eat …..”
“I can’t,I don’t have any appetite to eat” Adelaide cut in immediately
Lucian held her waist
“I don’t want you to fall sick,you don’t feel anymore pain in your tummy right?” He asked
Adelaide shook her head
“I’m fine,,can we just stay this way??” She muttered,hugging him more tightly
Lucian also enwrapped her wa-istwith his arms
“I love you” He said and ki-ssed her neck
Adelaide smiled but she didn’t say a word,she closed her eyes without letting him go.
They stayed in each other’s arms for more minutes before Carl’s voice came from outside but instead of letting go,Adelaide held him tighter
“Adelaide…..”
“No,I don’t want to leave you” She muttered
“I will be back,I promise okay?” Lucian said
Adelaide gro-aned
“Seriously? You missed me this way and you kept pushing me back?? Such a drama queen” Lucian smiled
Adelaide broke the hug and fell back on the bed,Lucian tried ki-ssing her but she turned her face away
“Just go” She rolled her eyes
“Are you angry with me now? Should I just cancel the meeting and stay with you?” King Lucian asked
“No,you can go” Adelaide replied
Lucian pecked her cheek and walked out
“Your majesty,everyone is waiting already” Carl said as he got outside
“Then,let’s go” King Lucian said and Carl followed him immediately
They walked to the court room together
“Your Majesty!” The councils and ministers all stood up immediately they came in
They waited until the king sat down before they also sat down.
One of the ministers got up again
“We are here to talk about the coronation your majesty” He bowed and King Lucian nodded
“Before the preparation,we would like the king to pick the day,your majesty are you ready for the coronation because we can’t wait any longer to have the future queen crowned” He added and others agreed
“I can’t wait too,so we don’t have to take long on it” King Lucian said
“Yes your majesty,we will proceed on picking the date”

QUEEN SOFIA’S SUITE**
The maids stood while watching as the queen packed the stuffs into a box,consisting of some bathing liquid made of sweet fragrance mixtures,some fresh perfumes and other body lotions,hair treatments.
After she was done,she turned to the maids
“Here,take them to Adelaide”She said
“Yes queen mother” they bowed and one of them collected it from her
“Prepare her a nice bath mixture” Queen Sofia said with a smile and the maids bowed again
“Let her know it’s a gift from me,okay?”
“Yes queen mother”
“You can go” Queen Sofia said
The maids immediately walked out and queen Sofia sighed
“I’m sure she will give me another grandchild soon” She chuckled to herself thinking about how nice she would smell if she spend the night with the king
“I hope she get my point” Queen Sofia smiled and poured herself a cup of tea before sitting down
“Anyone there?” She called and two maids came in
“Queen mother” They bowed
“I need a nice ma-ssage,I feel tired” She muttered before getting up
The maids immediately followed her into the bedroom.

Eleanor was watching as the maids prepared the meal,it’s the special meal for Adelaide like she planned with Lisa
Just then,Lisa came into the kitchen and all the maids gasped out in shock
“Your highness!! They chorused and bowed
“Seriously,I feel tired just my hearing that” Lisa said and Eleanor chuckled
“What are you doing here princess?” She teased and Lisa frowned
“Princess? Are you going to call me my name or you need a ha-rd knock?” She threatened
“Oh sorry Lisa” Eleanor said and they both laughed
The maids watched in amazement
“More meats,Adelaide love meat” Lisa said and Eleanor nodded
“Yeah sure,don’t worry she wouldn’t have any choice than to accept her prodigal friend” Eleanor said
“I’m not a prodigal friend” Lisa laughed
They both stayed in the kitchen together until the meal was done,it was arranged into the food cart and the maids left the kitchen while Lisa and Eleanor followed from the back until they got to Adelaide’s suite.
Adelaide was just checking out the gifts she received from the queen,pretty smiles playing on her li-ps as she checked them out.
“Wow,body wash,smells so great” She close her eyes as she inhaled it
“My lady,Lady Eleanor is here with the princess” Gemma said and Adelaide turned
“Let them in” She said,still smiling as she checked the gifts
Soon,Eleanor and Lisa came in with the maids behind
“Go set the table” Lisa said to the maids and they pushed the cart away
Adelaide finally looked up
“Hey Eleanor” She smiled and ignored Lisa
“Wow,it’s my favorite fragrance!!!!” Eleanor screamed and almost touched the box on the table but Adelaide slap her hand off
“Don’t touch! They are gifts from mother and you can’t touch them,they are for me alone” Adelaide warned
“Seriously? From queen mother?” Eleanor asked
Adelaide grinned and nodded
“So I can’t even touch?” Eleanor asked
“No you can’t” Adelaide muttered
“Wow,those bath mixtures….” Lisa walked closer and Adelaide frowned
“Why are you here?” She asked
Lisa sighed and faced her
“I know you’re mad at me…..”
“Exactly,so why are you here even after knowing that?” She asked
“I’m sorry Adelaide,forgive me huh?” Lisa pulled her into a warm hug
Adelaide roll her eyes without hugging her back
“Smile” Lisa broke the hug
“I’m not smiling” Adelaide scoffed
“Come on,I know you love me” Lisa smiled
“That’s why you took my love for granted and transferred it to someone else” Adelaide muttered
“Of course not,you know I love you too bestie,I really do okay? She’s an old friend but she can’t replace you,I’m sorry for making you feel that way,forgive me please” Lisa made a puppy face and Adelaide smiled
“I can smell some fried chicken….”
“Surprise!!!! Come here!!!” Lisa immediately grabbed Adelaide’s hand and they dragged her to the dinning room
“Wow” Adelaide muttered
The table was all set,filled up with different delicacies looking delicious
“My appetite disappeared all day,but seeing this,I’m eating” Adelaide immediately sat down
“I will serve you” Eleanor smiled and took a seat beside her
“Thank you” Adelaide smiled
“Here,have a taste of this first” Lisa said,feeding her from the fried chicken
“Wow,that tastes heavenly” Adelaide smiled
“Here too” Eleanor also fed her
“Wow,you two are the best,trust me” Adelaide said with her mouth full
Lisa and Eleanor smiled at each other before they started eating too.
“I got a nonalcoholic wine this time,so enjoy” Lisa raised the wine up before she started pouring into their gla-sses.
They continue eating while talking and laughing
“When are you going to tell mother about you and Carl?” Adelaide suddenly asked and Lisa looked up
“You want me to tell mother?” She asked and Adelaide nodded,sipping from her wine
“Or you should tell your brother,I’m sure Carl is scared to tell him. Why can’t you just do it?” Adelaide asked
“I’m scared too Adelaide,I’m fuc-k ing scared. I don’t think I can” Lisa sighed
“Then will you break up with Carl?” Eleanor asked
“I can’t!” Lisa immediately snapped
“You can’t hide for ever okay? So you should do the right thing,or how about this?? You and Carl should do it together” Adelaide suggested
“You think that will work?” Eleanor asked
“Of course,I’m sure mother and the king want someone who would cherish you and love you,not just some kind of prince you know nothing about” Adelaide said and Lisa nodded
“You’re right,I’m going to tell Carl about it. And you better be there to save the day when we are gonna do it” Lisa said and Adelaide smiled
“Trust me” She said

EVENING**
“You smell so great my lady,I’m sure the king wouldn’t be able to keep his hands off you tonight” Mia gushed
“Yeah sure,he would almost eat our lady up” Ava smirked
“Stop being naughty,I’m still young!” Gemma yelled and they laughed
Adelaide smiled and touched her hair
“Thank you guys” She said
Just then,she started getting a strange feeling,it was the same feeling she had the day she had beaten Matilda blue black.
She immediately turned around and there was the first deity sitting on one of the couches,it’s obvious she’s the only one seeing her.
“Girls,can you go out for a minute?” Adelaide turned back to them
“Sure my lady” They bowed at once and immediately went out,laughing and talking as they left
“Old deity” Adelaide called and immediately stood up
The first deity smiled and also stood up,she took a flower from the basket she was holding and attached it to Adelaide’s hair
“You look beautiful chosen” She said and Adelaide smiled sadly
“I miss you old deity” she muttered
“I see you do,that’s why I’m here” the deity said and Adelaide sniffed
“I wanted to tell you,I got pregnant…..but it’s a pity it’s gone now” She muttered
The deity smiled
“You think so?” She asked and Adelaide looked at her
“The physician,Diana confirmed it….I lost so much blood….”
“And you think I will allow the king’s heir go just like that?? I can see him in there,hale and healthy” the deity said,smiling as she stared at Adelaide’s tummy
Adelaide’s eyes wide-ned and touched her tummy
“You mean…my baby is still here?” She asked almost in tears
“Of course,he look so cute” The deity said and Adelaide broke into tears
She didn’t know when she hug-ged the deity but she immediately moved back
“Thank you old deity” she said
The deity touched her tummy
“I took him out of you the moment you were about falling,that was why Diana couldn’t find him. But he’s fine right inside you now,so stop crying”
Adelaide nodded and immediately wiped her years
“I should tell the king….”
“You might need Diana to confirm so he will believe you” The deity said and Adelaide immediately nodded
The deity disappeared and Adelaide didn’t waste time before running out. As she got out,the maids and guards standing by the door immediately followed
She stopped and turned back
“Guards??” She asked in surprise
“Yes my lady,his majesty ordered us to follow you everywhere” They bowed
“Gemma,get the physician” Adelaide said
“Yes my lady” Gemma immediately walked away
Adelaide turned and continue walking again until they got to the king’s chamber.
They waited outside while Adelaide ran in
“Lucian!” She called out loudly and Lucian appeared from the room
“I was about coming to……”
Adelaide hug-ged him before he could finish
“Are you okay?” He asked,hugging her back
“Our baby is safe,I’m still pregnant” Adelaide said and Lucian immediately broke the hug
“What are you talking about?” He asked unbelievably
“Don’t worry,Diana will be here soon” Adelaide smiled
“Your majesty,Lady Diana is here!” They heard from outside and immediately Diana entered
“You sent for me my lady” she bowed
“Yeah right,I need you to check on her. She just said.. She’s still pregnant” Lucian said impatiently and Diana looked at Adelaide in surprise but she only smiled

Diana just finished checking Adelaide and she gave a shocking expression
“He’s there right?” Adelaide smiled
“Say something” King Lucian also said curiously
“Your majesty…..She’s pregnant” Diana said in a shocking voice
