“Have you ever been fuc-k ed or screwed?” He asked in a whisper and Adelaide froze on the spot
Adelaide could feel her heart in her mouth,his soft breath on her neck sending shivers into her spine. She was feeling hot right there even though it’s freaking cold. Is she supposed to answer this question right now?
Lucian chuckled and moved away from her,giving her his flirty smile.
“Don’t worry,you don’t have to answer. I will find out when the time comes,I won’t make your pain increase again” he said and Adelaide’s cheeks started burning.
She bite her bottom li-p and started playing with her fingers while she stared at her toes.
King Lucian couldn’t take his eyes from her,how could someone be so beautiful and perfect?? A complete pure and innocent soul just in one body,his eyes landed on her red li-ps and he wanted to make it even redder.
“Adelaide” he called and she looked up immediately
King Lucian raised her hand toward her head and to her surprise,he slowly removed the hair tie tying up her hair. The long silky hair loses at once falling straight down,two strands on her shoulders.
Adelaide didn’t say a word
“You’re so beautiful” He muttered as he removed the strands of hair from her face
‘This is the second time he’s saying this’ Adelaide thought but it was cut short when the king lean more closer and got hold of her neck gently before smashing his li-ps on her own.
It didn’t come as a surprise again,it’s not the first time he will be ki-ssing her. Adelaide’s eyes went shut instantly and reciprocated to his usual sweet and gentle ki-ss which always make her want more.
She let out a tiny mo-an when his tongue sli-pped into her mouth,he broke the ki-ss slowly and Adelaide opened her eyes.
“I don’t know why I always want you to be by my side….always” King Lucian said
‘Is it the bond?’ Adelaide thought without saying a word
“Will you sleep by my side this night also??” He asked and Adelaide immediately nodded,if possible,she want to keep on sleeping beside him every night.
“Yes my king,I want to sleep beside you. I want to” She said in her tiny voice and King Lucian smiled and grabbed her hand,leading her into the bedroom.
“You can go to bed,I’m going to wash up first” He said and Adelaide looked at him
“You said you want to be the only one,so I won’t any other maid do things you want to do” King Lucian said and Adelaide blus-hed
‘I can’t believe he really hold unto that word till now’ she thought,watching him going into the restroom.
She sighed out and sat down on the bed,a smile escape her li-ps as she touched the softness and warmness of the bed. Ever since she slept here the first time,she has been dreaming of sleeping on it again.
Adelaide laid on the bed gently her hair scattered on her sides,she immediately sat up again and tied it up before laying back on the bed. She wasn’t planning to sleep until the king return to the room and soon,after some minutes he entered.
He was putting on a sleeping robe already
Adelaide’s eyes roam around his body,his we-t hair made him look even more hot and se-xy. He’s got a perfect body and obviously too handsome and nau-ghty to be a king
The question he asked earlier rang in her head and she took her bottom li-p in
‘He must be a player before he became the king’ Adelaide thought and continue staring at him
“You’re still awake?” King Lucian asked when their eyes met
“Yes my king” Adelaide replied
King Lucian walked closer and got on the bed with her,without being told,Adelaide moved into him,enjoying his warmth

CARL’S ROOM**
Carl stared at Jimmy as he paced round the room,sometime he will stand by the window watching the rain falling.
He had a worried and sad look on his face
“Are you okay?” Carl finally asked
“I’m fine” Jimmy replied without turning back
“You’ve been restless for almost thirty minutes,what the fuc-k ” Carl said and Jimmy faced him
“I’m really restless and I don’t even know why” He muttered and Carl raised his brows looking confused
“You don’t know why you’re restless,is that supposed to be a joke or what? Is something wrong?” He asked
Jimmy sighed and went to grab a bottle of wine
“I’m fine Carl,don’t worry about me” he muttered as he sat down to pour himself the wine
He couldn’t take his mind from Eleanor and the fact that she’s with Kai is giving him so much concern,
Are they still together??
“Shit” he mumbled and gulped down the whole content in the cup before looking up
Carl was still staring at him suspiciously
“Do you mind?” He asked and poured a full glas-sfor Carl
“I feel better now” Jimmy sighed
Carl looked at him for a minute before sipping from the wine
“You haven’t told me anything about you and the princess,are you two dating now?” Jimmy asked
“Something like that” Carl muttered
“Wow,you’re quite bad. You are not thinking about the consequence anymore?” Jimmy asked with a smirk
“We are going to keep it as a secret for now……”
“Risky” Jimmy chuckled
“I’m ready for anything but at least not now,I’m not brave enough to face the music yet” Carl said and and drank again
“I’m surprised the princess is really in love with you,are you that handsome?” Jimmy teased and Carl scoffed
“Am I not?” He asked
“I don’t think you are” Jimmy said abs Carl glared at him making him laugh out

NEXT MORNING★KITCHEN**
???? Have you heard??
???? Adelaide slapped the King’s mistress
???? I saw it with my own eyes
???? I don’t think the king punished her
???? Isn’t it weird?
???? She made the mistress lose her pregnancy but the king didn’t punish her

The maids kept whispering to themselves while working,Eleanor was listening to them but she didn’t say a word. She was tired of defending when she knows they will never listen to her.
Eleanor sighed and carried the garbage can,she walked out of the kitchen. As she walked,she found herself strangely thinking about Jimmy and a smile escape her li-ps
“What are you smiling for?” Kai joined her and she turned
“Oh Kai” She called and her smile grew wider
“I was just thinking about something,are you not training today?” Eleanor asked
“No,I’m free all day.” Kai smiled
“Whoa” Eleanor grinned and poked his tummy
“That turns me on” Kai said and they both laughed
“Don’t be silly” Eleanor said
They disposed the rubbish and started walking back,Eleanor saw Jimmy going out of the palace with Prince Liam
“Are they leaving already?” She asked immediately
“No,they are going to wait until the ball is over” Kai replied and Eleanor faced him
“Really?” She asked
“So I heard” Kai muttered and he rolled his eyes seeing how she breathe out in relief
“Have you seen Adelaide today?” She suddenly asked
“No,why?” Kai asked
“That’s weird,you always ask for her if you don’t see her in just few hours, but recently,I haven’t heard you talking about her,what’s wrong?” Eleanor asked and Kai kept quiet
‘Because I was just a fool thinking I was in love with her’ He said in his head
“Have you given up already?” Eleanor asked further
“She doesn’t feel the same,she only see me as a friend so I don’t want to spoil that” Kai said
“Wow….seriously? Are you really the same Kai I know? Since when did you care if she only see you as a friend? What happened to the,she’s mine,even the king can’t stop me?” Eleanor asked in his voice
Kai chuckled
“Maybe I just realized that I also have to consider her feelings” He replied
“Wow,so you have a new crush now??” Eleanor grinned
‘Exactly,how the fuc-k should I tell you I’m beginning to fall for you?? You will probably think I’m going crazy,I’m such a mess’ Kai said inwardly
“You don’t want to tell me?” Eleanor pouted
“I will tell you later” Kai said
“Later? When?” Eleanor asked curiously and Kai thought for a while
“How about the ball night?? It’s coming in few days,can you wait till then?” He asked and Eleanor smiled
“Of course I can” She said and Kai got lost staring at her
‘Maybe I would have summoned enough courage to tell you’ he thought

MATILDA’S SUITE**
Matilda sat down in front of the mirror,staring at her image. The memory of the king ki-ssing Adelaide came to her head and she swallowed,,it’s been years since she became his mistress but she can’t remember any moment when he tried to ki-ss her,not even a peck on her li-ps.
But she had done well countless times,pressing her li-ps on his own when he’s fast asleep. How badly she have always wanted to taste that li-ps of his but she never got the chance.
She just find it ha-rd to believe that Adelaide is getting everything so easily,just in few weeks.
“My lady,how do you want your hair styled?” One of the maids dressing her up asked
“I don’t want it styled,what’s the use?? He doesn’t want me anymore” She muttered and didn’t know when she started tearing up again
“You all should go,I will take care of myself” She added,wiping her tears
The maids all bowed and went out,only Esmeralda didn’t move
“What are you waiting for??” Matilda asked
“My lady,you can’t give up this way. Adelaide can never take your place,please stop crying….”
“Who said I’m giving up? Just watch me Esmeralda,I promised right?? I’m going to make her pay for everything” Matilda said
“I can’t wait my lady,I hate her alot and I will help anytime you need me” Esmeralda said and Matilda smiled.

Adelaide was sitting down alone in the balcony far from the maids quarter,it was so silent and she love the silence so much.
“Adelaide” The familia voice made her turn and right before him was the first deity as usual
“Old Deity” Adelaide smiled and immediately stood up
“Your back,how is it?” The deity asked
“It hurts,but I don’t want to have a scar on my body” Adelaide muttered and the deity smiled
“Of course you won’t” She said and gently rub Adelaide’s back
Immediately,Adelaide could feel the pains left her
“It’s all gone” The deity said
“Thank you old deity” Adelaide said happily
“You’re moving closer Adelaide,,you should be strong,no matter what”
“I will,thank you old deity” Adelaide smiled and the deity vanished in front of her
Adelaide touched her back and exhaled

She chuckled and bite her li-ps

EVENING★THE KING’S OFFICE**
Carl stood behind the king on his right side watching as King Lucian read and work on all the reports one after the other
“I thought I’ve been coming here everyday,how come I have so many works here?” King Lucian asked after the long silence
“You didn’t come here yesterday your majesty” Carl replied
King Lucian sighed and run his fingers throu-ghhis hair before turning back to the note in his hand
“There are so many people coming to this year’s ball,did we really invite them all?” He asked
“Yes your majesty,queen mother did most of the jobs. And there has been a lot of preparation so you don’t have to worry your majesty” Carl said
There was silence after that until Carl spoke up again
“Since the wood is presumed to be safe after the long watch,should I pas-sthe message across?” He asked
“Yes you should,but it will be more advisable to stay away in the night” King Lucian muttered
“Okay your majesty” Carl said
King Lucian’s mind went to Adelaide all of a sudden and he started wondering where she was,If she’s fine or not. Since he left his chamber in the morning,he haven’t stepped out of the office.
“I guess I’ve done enough for today” he muttered
“Of course,you should take a rest,you need it”
King Lucian stood up and walked out,Carl followed him
“I wonder where Liam went to” he said
“Well,I think the Prince is seeing someone” Carl chuckled
“Well I know” King Lucian also smiled
“You should do the same your majesty” Carl mumbled and King Lucian scoffed

Adelaide was walking when suddenly five unfamiliar maids blocked her way. They have mean glares on their faces
She immediately stopped and moved back
“What do you want?” Adelaide asked
One of them grabbed Adelaide’s hair immediately without thinking twice
Adelaide was shocked
“Who the h*ll do you think you are!! We’ve been staying in the palace for years but none of us have been treated so specially like you!!” Another one yelled
Adelaide was pushed to the ground
“Ahh” she winced out
“Stomp on her until she crack some bones” One of them said
Adelaide’s eyes went shut immediately expecting the worst but then
“If you dare hit her with your legs,they will be amputated” The King’s voice came behind them and they all gasped in fears
They turned and fell on their knees immediately
“How dare you!!” King Lucian snapped at them angrily when he saw the fears in Adelaide’s eyes
“We are sorry your majesty!!” The maids chorused
“Carl…give them all some ha-rd labor to do for three days,after that throw them out of the palace” King Lucian said and the maids gasped
“Your Majesty…..”
“If you beg me,I will increase your punishment” he said and they all kept quiet
“Take them away Carl” King Lucian said
“Get up and follow me if you love your lives” Carl said coldly and they immediately ran after him
King Lucian turned to Adelaide who was already standing,she avoided his eyes and bite her bottom li-p
“Come with me” He said and walked away
Adelaide followed him at once quietly,staring at his back all throu-gh
Soon,they got to the chamber. The king ignored the guards greetings and went in,he walked straight into the bedroom and Adelaide followed him.
She entered slowly and locked the door,the moment she made a turn to face him,He pushed her against the wall and she let out a gasp
“You have the gut to slap Matilda but you choose to act dumb in front of ordinary maids?” He asked
Adelaide swallowed
“I’m….I’m sorry” She stammered
The way he was pinning her against the wall and how close he was so close to his face was doing something strange in her body.
“I guess you don’t feel much pain on your back anymore,you’re not reacting to the push” He said
“I’m fine now” Adelaide mumbled
“Good” King Lucian said and started ki-ssing her neck slowly
Adelaide’s eyes went shut,he touched her waist,pulling her more closer. His mouth went down and he placed a ki-ss on her exposed cleavage
“My king…..” Adelaide mo-an-ed softly
Lucian stopped and Adelaide opened her eyes
“Tonight is the later I was talking about…take off your clothes,it’s going to be a long night” He whispers into her ear.
“Oh….My……King…” Adelaide stuttered in ma-ssive plea-sure mixed with sweetness as the king found his way into her blouse and captured her right b**b.
