The air around us was awkward.
What do I do?.
“You little boy…maybe I should just send you to a boarding school” Leon yelled, he was really angry.
“Why should you….?, It’s against my will as a child…am staying home with mommy….I’ll protect mommy from you!” He yelled back.
“Really?, I should be protecting her from you!” Liam fired back. I was kind of enjoying the show.
“Am her husband!”
“Am her son….and i can equally marry her when am a bit older…..I know am handsome than you, right mommy?” He asked and both eyes were on me.
Liam was like the little version of Leonel….but why do Liam have to put me in the middle of all this.
“Mommy I said right?” Liam asked again frowning his face. I look at Leonel and he frown too.
“I….yes…….” I muttered
“What!!” Leonel yelled
“I mean ….no…..” I switch
“Mommy!!” Liam yelled
“I mean I don’t know”
“Daddy you’re making things ha-rd here. I found mommy….I made mommy come home….I made her stay…..so know this SHES MINE!!!!” he yelled.
“Ok….well….I woo her…..I fought for her….I protected her…..I engaged her…..I married her…..I loved her…..and I made her made you……so….SHES ALL MINE!!!” Leonel fired.
“That’s not true……that’s not true” Liam said. His voice was now cracking, he was about to cry. Leonel was getting the upper hand.
“Aaaahhhhh……….a.a..a.hhhhh……” Liam burst into tears and Leonel was smiling. “I won’t let you have her for long!!!!” He cried and want out of the room.
“Liam……..!” I called about to run after him but Leonel stopped me.
“Let him go….he’s being a distraction!” He said
“Seriously Leon just stop it…..why are you acting like a child!?” I asked
“What did I do….that little fella was about to claim what’s mine. I can’t let that happen!”
“Well that little fella is our son….. move!!!” I push him out of the way.
I finally met him in his room crying on his bed.
“Baby!!” I called
“Leave me alone…go meet daddy!” He cried.
“Aww….am so sorry… please don’t cry…..”
“How can you love daddy more than me!!” He asked as he raise his head up. His big round eye were red and swollen.
“Who said I love daddy more than you?” I said…..I hope Leonel is not hearing this.
“So?…..” He said paying his full attention as me.
I wipe his face and carried him on my lap-s. He was so small, so small but mighty.
“I love you more than daddy!” I said
“Why?…..”
“Huh?”
“Tell me why you like me more than daddy?”
Leon who was listening by the door was so angry, he wanted to go into the room and drag gem away from that little wizard. But he stayed cool. He must send him to a boarding school after the summer holidays…..
“Why?”
“Huh?”
“Why do you live me more than daddy?” He asked. His tears stop flowing now.
“Well because you’re super cute and daddy is…uhmm handsome!” I said and he smiled.
“Really?” He asked
“Yes….I like cute men more than handsome men…..you’re cute, adorable and sweet…but daddy…..his handsome, hot and cool”
“How is daddy hot?, Is he having a fever?” He asked. Oh how could I say hot to a two year old.
“…yes….yes….daddy always have bad fever….and it’s not good for mommy!” I said. I hope this make sense to him because it doesn’t to me.
“I don’t get you mommy!” He said. Let the wind just blew me away.
Leon who was at the door knew gem was at a dead end. Hearing her say those things about him he couldn’t help but smile.
Leon opened the door. I sigh in relief.
“Daddy what do you want?” Liam asked as he hu-gged my ne-ck. I choked.
“To make a deal” he said
“Huh!?” Liam and I said at the same time.
“Let’s share mommy” Leonel said.
“No….i want her to be all mine” Liam claimed.
“Okay let’s see if that will work for you” Leonel said about to go.
“Daddy wait……I…I Know I can’t beat you because am still young….I’ll let you share mommy with me for now but when am older…she’s all mine!” He said. I could help it….I tried ha-rd not to laugh.
I was worried about Sasha… I have to see her.
Leon seems to see throu-ghme….no matter how I tried to cover up but it was no use.
“Liam… remember that story book you said it was your favorite?” Leon asked
“Yes daddy, what about it?”
“Why don’t you go get it and show mommy!” He said and Liam spring up and run upstairs.
“What’s wrong?”
“Nothing” i lied.
“Gem….talk to me!” He said and hold my hands.
“I want to go…..I mean….to.sasha…and my Uncle….”
“Your uncle….?”
“Madam….you cannot go…..” Noah interrupt.
“Why!!” I asked.
“There is something you don’t know, about your so call uncle!!!!”..

“Grandma….great grandma!!” Liam yelled and ran to hu-g them.
“Wow…. you’re becoming more handsome Liam!” Grandma said.
“No….i don’t want to be handsome….I want to be cute….mommy love cute more!” He said smiling.
“Speaking of your mother…..were is she?” Great grandma asked.
“Mommy left with daddy…..they just left….. didn’t you see them on your way?” He asked.
“Yes we did…..”
“Grandma…..take me to mommy!!!, They are taking too long to come back” Liam cried.
“Liam it’s only been an hour….be…..”
“No….no…..i want to call daddy…..” I pouted. This child was really stubborn.
“You can’t disturb your parents!”
“They are my parents not yours….so you don’t tell me what to do with my parents!” He yelled. How rude.
“You’re being rude Liam” said great grandma.
“How am I rude?, Great grandma….grandma was being annoying……my parents didn’t even leave home with the bodyguards……I heard uncle Noah telling mommy it could be dangerous…….take me to mommy….I want to protect her!!!!” He yelled like a king giving orders.
Few minutes later the guards were able to track were Leon and Gem car were.
“I want to go too!!” He pouted.
“We little fella you’re going no where!!’
“Grandma you don’t tell me what to do in my father’s house!” Liam fired back.
“Liam….will you stop that attitude!!”
“Great grandma….will you just learn to mind your own business…. ” Liam said
“Liam!!!!, You’re going no where…..you take him to his room!!!”
“You dare not touch me or I’ll tell my dad you fire you!!” He threatened and the guards did not dare touch him.
“What!!!, Are you afraid of this little…..this small child….?, Fine if they can’t touch you…. surely I can!” She said and carried Liam on her shoulders who was shouting and struggling to break free.
I tried to shot again but there was no bullet.
He started clapping his hands.
“I trained you to be strong for me…not against me…… Jolene” he said and walk up to me.
Leon was about to move but the hold him down with Noah.
He caressed my cheeks but I kick his hands away.
“Don’t touch me with your filthy hands!!!” I yelled.
“Get away from her!!!” I heard Leon yelled.
“He’s being noisy” he said and his men bounce on Leon and Noah. The punch them and beat them up.
“No…..stop!!!” I yelled trying to stop them but his hands grab my wai-st and push me to himself. There was no space between our body.
“Uncle… please….stop…!!!” I cried.
“Like you said…..am not your uncle….” He plant a ki-ss on my ne-ck. “god you’re just like your mother…..so beautiful….’
“Get off her….ahhh……” Leon gro-an in pains. I struggled to break free from him but his grin was too ti-ght.
“Tell them to stop…..tell them to stop please!!!!!!!” I cried.
“No” he answered smiling at me
“Please….. please you’re hurting them….. I’ll…I’ll do anything you want just please…. stop!!!” I cried.
“Anything I want?” He asked again and I nodded. “Come with me….. forget them…make a new memory with me…..marry me!” He said smiling…..I couldn’t believe my ears….he was old enough to be Liam grandfather….

I stared at Leon…..he had blood in his mouth….his nose. Noah too……
“Fine….I’ll …..I’ll go with you…..I said I’ll go with you!!!!!” I yelled. He signal his men to stop and they did.
“Gem…..no……” Leon cried “you can’t…..”
“Jolene…..let’s go” he said.
“Gem…..!!!. Gemm….!!!” Leon yelled. The man hold him down. He struggled to break free but he can’t……I followed uncle…..or what should I call him?.
“Liam!!!!……” I halt when I heard Leon called Liam’s name “what about our son….you….you promised to come back to him….I promise to bring you back….Gem what about Liam…. !!!” He cried. Tears filled my eyes. Memories of Liam filed my head. His cute face when he pouts. The way he argue and jealous his father…….No

“Liam!!” I whispered
“Jolene…let’s go!” He said.
“NO!!” I yelled
“Now we’re back to square one……you bit h!!!” He yelled and slapped me.
“Don’t touch you….how dare you!!!” Leon yelled.
“Well watch me!!!” He said. He was about to hit me again but we heard a gun shot.
Uncle mouth started bring out blood. He touch his che-st and was covered in blood.
I look up and it was Sasha…..
She fell down again. I ran to her…. “Sasha….Sasha…..” I cried.
“I wish I could protect you till the end….but…..I….c…..”
“Sasha…… Sasha keep talking….don’t stop….Sa……” I cried……
Leon men were Everywhere. Uncle’s men had to surrender. It was a great war in a short period of time but you won’t imagine the pains and fear I felt. Sasha’s gone……she was only protecting me….I own my life to her.
If I could whine back time….I’d take it back to a week ago…..I’d keep Sasha by my side, tell Leon the truth, report my uncle to the police and none of this would have happened. But that’s impossible. In this world there are no time machine. No matter how much you try….you’ll always make mistakes but don’t be afraid to make them. If we don’t make mistakes we won’t know the right from the wrong.
The mistake of my parents has teach me the rights from wrong in life. I won’t leave like my parents did…..I will be happy with my family….
“Gem…….what are you thinking about?” Leon asked as he wrap his hands round my wai-st.
“Nothing….” I lied. It’s been a month since the incident happened…..I admit am happy but am not fine. Am still sad….I miss Sasha.
“You know you’re a horrible liar?” He asked.
“Only you noticed” i said.
“Mummy…. mummy!!!!!!!!!” Liam yelled
“Gosh…..he only knows how to ruin a great mood!” Leon said.
“Leon….can I ask you a question?”
“Yes sure…be quick before that demons come in” he said
“Why…..why did you name him Liam?” I asked
“Leonel…..Gem……LM….Liam….” He said and I burst into laughter.
“What am I missing?” Liam push his head from the door.
“Nothing baby…..come here” he ran into my hands.
“Mommy…..let’s go on a date tomorrow…… uncle Noah said I can visit the new amusement park tomorrow, please come with me please please please!!!!!” He said.
“Ammmmm……I don’t know!!!”
“Oh and daddy can come too, please mummy let’s go have some fun with daddy go Daddy will come to please please please!!!!”
“Ok fine I’ll go, but you have to give me a ki-ss first” i teased and he smiled. He ki-ssed my cheeks. I saw Leon rolled his eyes.
“Enough already she’s not your wife, just grow up already and go find yours. Liam really you’re being clingy….” Leon said.
“Daddy back off I’m the one going on a date with mummy I only invited you as a third party, don’t get your hopes up I’ll still beat you cause you’re not cute enough” he said
‘oh god please tell me they’re not going to fight over me again’
“Enough….let’s go choose what to wear for tomorrow……” I drag Liam out.
“Honey wait for me!” Leon yelled.
We are back from the amusement park. Liam was already sleeping in his father’s arm. He was so small and cute. You will not believe this 2 years old run his mouth like a tap. Liam head was Leon’s on shoulder. He slept peacefully. I couldn’t help but admire the Father and Son. I got to admit I was jealous.
Leon to claim to his bedroom to sleep while I take a shower in our own bedroom.
“He’s asleep already!” He said as I step out of the shower.
“Hmm…..that’s good”
“I’ve never seen him so happy…..today was fun” he said. He went to take his shower.
The room was quiet.
“Can I name our next baby?” I asked.
“You’re planning on having on another baby or do you just want to have it with me” he said
“Have what with you?” I asked looking confused.
“se-x of course!” He said. Now we are back to the teasing Leon.
“Leon!!!!!!” I yelled.
“Tell me you don’t want it too?” He asked and I flushed. “See…you’re already in daze”
“I…..i never said yes…..”
“So it’s a no?” He asked
“I…i don’t know” I buried my face in my pillow.
“If it’s a female you can name her….as for the males…..I’ll name them” he said
“But why?, I want to name my son Noah….” I said
“No… I hate that name….am naming our next son Jeffrey” he said
“No!!!” I yelled and he pressed a ki-ssed on my mouth.
“Can we just stop talking already…..I want you!” He said. The ki-ss was hot….i felt my body shiver in his arms.
“I missed you kitten!” He said.

Our clothes were already on the floor……Leon entered me slowly teasing me. I mo-an out his name in plea-sure.
A knock on the door……”mummy!” It was Liam…….
“Oh….gosh….Leon get off me…..Liam is at the door!” I said.
“No…..am not going to let that small devil ruin this moment” he said and started ki-ssing my ne-ck, moving inside of me.
“Aaahh….Leon….I have to.go s…see him…..stop….ahh” I mo-an. I tried to be harsh but my voice failed me.
“Mummy…..are you there?” He knock again “I want to sleep with mommy….., Mommy” he called.
“L……..” Leon ki-ssed my li-ps preventing me from calling Liam’s name.
“The door is locked….don’t worry…..” He said.
“Liam what are you doing here…it’s late;” I heard Ruth said……ah forgot to tell you. Remember that nanny who hit Liam…..her burial ceremony was four days ago….Ruth is now his new nanny and godmother.
“I want to sleep with mommy and daddy Tonight” he said.
“Mommy and Daddy are not home they left for a date….why don’t you come sleep with me” she said.
It was quite again.
“Am going to double Ruth salary for her cleverness…..
..but for tonight….let me enjoy you” he teased again…
TWO MONTHS LATER
“Do you think it’s a girl this time?” I ASKED
“I don’t want a female child they are too noisy…..all my kids should be male” he teased
“LEON!!!!” I yelled.
“Tomorrow is Liam’s birthday….” He said
“I know……I’ve prepared well for the party…..and am telling him that he’ll be a big brother soon!” I smiled.
“I got him a great gift!” He said
“Oh what’s that?” I asked.
“20 persont share in my company!” He said and I punch his che-st. He gro-an in pains
“He’s just a kid not a business man….get him a bike or something” i said “Share foot”
“It’s nice to have a full family………” Liam said in his closing speech after his birthday party. “I love you mummy!!!” He scream
“Hey dude what about daddy?” Leon yelled and the crowd laughed.
“I love you too Daddy but not as much as mommy…..I love my baby sibling…..I want a brother” he said
“No way….it’s a girl!!!” I yelled
“No mommy girls are too noisy”
Of course……like father like son
9months later…….no……it was a boy….I wanted a girl……
It was a happy ending for Leon and Liam who just had Jeffrey………..no for me…….I wanted a female child………………………
