Sasha opened her eyes and saw she was in a dark room full of chains and tormenting weapons.
“Noah…… Noah…..show yourself you idiot….how dare you….how dare you do this to me….!!!” She yelled and struggle.
“Hey….girly…calm down….Noah is not here” the man was scary…he was holding an injection on his hands. He smiled and his black teeth was more frightening.
“Call me Noah!!!!” She yelled.
“Like I said…… Noah is not here….he gave me a little message for you……he said…Sasha…I know you won’t confess easy…so I don’t want to waste my time on you….. you’ll be torture and get pains more than death itself….untill you’re willing to confess then….I’ll show up….”
“Noah!!!!” She said.
“Sshhhh little miss….do you know what am holding?, If I inject this to your system even a tinkle will hurt like hell…..now be good” he said and injected Sasha who was crying and screaming.
Noah entered the room.
“Uncle Noah….” Liam ran and hu-gged him. He was released from drip few hours ago.
“How’s my smart boy doing?” He said
“Am good…. uncle Noah you never told me having a mom is this good….” He said
“I can see you’re happy”
“Yes uncle…am really really happy…..” He said and run back to my hands. Liam was so clingy.
“Gem….or should I say Jolene…. welcome back” he said
“Just Jolene please” i said
“Uncle Noah what have you been doing?” Liam asked
“Am doing some research on lady G….I’ll have to go now…..oh..where is Mr Leonel?” Noah asked
“Daddy got scolded by mommy…he got angry and left….” Liam said “mommy…is it black or white?”
“Hmm…. black?” I said knowing well it was white….
“Hahahahhhhhh…mommy…you’re… you’re so dumb…hahahaha……haha….you….you failed again…hehehehe…….” He laughed whole heatedly.
I saw the shock in Noah’s eyes.
Noah was so shocked….he had known Liam to be a cheerful kid but not to this extent. He had never seen or heard him laughing so hard.
Just then Leon step in….he froze as he saw Liam.
Seeing him Liam run towards him but fell on the floor on his way but he still stood up and hold his father’s leg.
“Daddy…..mommy….lost to me 10 times in the game…..she can’t win….she’s dumb”
The little kid was so happy. Just when his laughter was slowing down I said
“Am not that dumb you know….when I was your age I use to beat my dad alot in this game….when you know am old now” i said and the little boy burst into laughter again….this time tears gather in his eyes.
“Mom…you’re lying….hehehehhahhahaah”
“No am not…..come….come…let’s play one more round….I’ll win this time” i said and he ran back to the bed.
“Fine….I’ll make it easy so you win…..okay?” He said still laughing.
“Black or white?” He asked trying to cover his laughter.
“Why isn’t there blue color too….I thought my baby loves blue?”
“Haha mommy just pick already” he said
“Oohh….what do I do now….Liam…..oh God….” I murmured and he laughed again…..while he was laughing I rise the black cu-p up and saw it was empty.
“Mommy that’s cheating….hahaha….”
“No…you’re the one cheating…tell me how can a two years old beat an old lady like me…..” I said.
“No mommy am not cheating” he said and I carried him and started tinkling him…..
“Confess…now…….hahaha” i laughed too
Leon was smiling all along but he wasn’t aware……the love of his life was back…his son was happy but…..she left….she left…..she left….she left….
The words kept on ringing in his ears……no matter how much his heart loves her…..his emotions where all hate….hurt and betrayal…..

After some few days Liam was discharged from the hospital…..he cling unto me….his grin was so ti-ght.
“Am not leaving you Liam” i whisper to him but he didn’t let me go.
We got into the car and met Leon he doesn’t look happy…that’s all I could read from his face. I know he hate me now and am not trying to get back to him…. Am just here for Liam. The car started to move….
“Aaaahhhh……….” Sasha cried
“You’re making this ha-rd for yourself…..you know!” The man said
“Fine……uhmmm” she cough out blood, “I’ll speak….. I’ll speak……”
The man smiled “good girl…..now let me set the camera” he said and called Noah.
Noah was seating at the front seat in the car.
“Hello?….., Good……no….no need for cameras….I’ll come myself” he ended the call.
“Sir I’ll drop at the junction….I have an emergency….” He said to Leon who only nodded.
“Uhmm Noah….I know you’re busy but can you help me contact Sasha….I haven’t seen her for days” I said and he said
“I’ll do that”
Sasha glare at Noah.
“Start talking….I don’t have time to waste” he said
“She….she didn’t leave….. we….we took her” she said
“I knew it!!” Noah yelled “but Sasha please explain in details”
“We…..we drugged her and took her away from the hospital when she was unconscious……. we…..we told her the risk of being with the Mavis…..but she wanted to go back….but….we tie her down for days….. before she finally accept her fate”
“Who are the we?” Noah asked and Sasha shivered “it’s okay Sasha….tell me”
“Jolene’s uncle…….”
“Jolene’s uncle?, You mean gem?” He asked
“Yes…..he’s my uncle too”
“Gem doesn’t have an uncle….her father was an orphan…so was her mother…..where the fuc-k did he come from!!!!” Noah yelled. Sasha was confused. “The uncle you’re talking about….is this him?” Noah brou-ght out a picture and showed it to Sasha.
“How did you……”
“Answer me!!!!” Noah yelled
“Yes….he’s our uncle” she said and Noah froze. No this can’t be…….
Liam kept on showing me his room.
“Liam let’s take a walk am bored” i said and he nodded
“Sure mommy”
I saw most familiar maids……but none paid attention to me. They only bowed and greeted Liam.
“Are you all blind!!” He yelled. His voice so tiny but carries flame. “Greet my mother you useless maids”
“Liam…..that’s no way to talk to your elders…..” I yelled at him and he looked at me in surprise.
“M..mommy they….they…..” He turn and look at them “Apologise to my mother”
“We are sorry madam” they said
“Liam….where did you get this attitude from?” I asked looking shocked.
“Please don’t raise your voice at him….you have no right…..he’s right and we are wrong….master Liam is always right” now I recognize her….she’s one of Grandma’s chief maids.
“No….that’s wrong….how could you teach him such thing?” I asked
“And who are you to make corrections??” She yelled.
“Am his mother and……..”
“Oh…..the one who abandoned him?”
“No….mommy didn’t abandon me….stop it nanny you’re going make mommy hate me…..she said she won’t leave me again!” Leon yelled….he’s now crying.
“She’s a liar master Liam……she’s a snake….she’s no longer your mother the moment she left you…….can’t you see?” She said and Liam let go of my hands and glare at me.
“You’re fake?……, You hate me??? That’s why you left me????, Why mommy…..?, I don’t want you to hate me…..I don’t want you to hate me please don’t hate me??” He cried
“Baby I’ll never hate you…..” I tried to touch him but he moved backeds and hide at the back of his nanny.
“Liam….baby….come on……”

“I don’t hate you!” I yelled.
“Liam let’s go inside” the nanny took Liam away. I wanted to go after her but….what right do I have. The warmth I was feeling all melt away and I felt cold and alone.
Nanny out Liam down on his bed.
“Why did you take me away from mommy?
….., Am going back to her!” He said wiping his face but the nanny drag Liam back and slapped the little boy. He fell on the floor crying with his red cheeks.
“You mommy is going to die… grandma will kill her…..so you must tell her to leave…..do you want your mommy to die?”
“Nn…..n….n…o” he cried
“Then tell her to go…..if she stay by yourside shell die…..now if your dad asked who hit you…tell him it was mommy!”
“No…that’s a big fart lie!!!” Liam yelled.
“Do you want your mommy to die?”
“No….”
“Then do as I say okay?, Trust nanny!”
“I hate you!”
I stood by the kitchen when my phone rang
“Hello boss (uncle)”
“Jolene how could you?”
“What’s going on?”
“Sasha….she was what?…., Noah….,how bad is she……..no……how dare him touch one if my own!!” I ended the call.
I walk into his study and met Noah and Leon. Leon stood up as he saw me…..I walk up to him and landed a punch on his cheek. Only his ne-ck moved as blood roll down from his mouth.
“Gem!!!!” Noah yelled
“Don’t you ever lay your filthy hands on my people again….. it’s my innocent parents enough!!!, You still wish to take Sasha away from me!!!!!, You know what……I regret ever coming back….ever seeing you Leon…..yeah….I know my face disgust you now but guess what…..you ain’t any different……….., And as for you Noah……I’ll get back to you……” I slam the door and left….
