I looked at Leon for some reason I just missed him. I really wanted to hu-g him ti-ght to my body, but I could only smile dryly and lower my head.
“Kitten….are you okay?, is something bothering you?” he caressed my cheeks and made me look at him “I will do anything for you, all you have to do is ask” he said.
“Where is Fin?, Where is Noah?, Kelvin too, and my sister?” I asked.
Leon face darkened. “You don’t have to know”
“But you said……” I swallowed my word as I saw his face.
“Gem your sister is in the custody, Noah is receiving punishment for his stupidity…. Kelvin should be out of the country by now….and for that bastard…..”
“You didn’t kill him did you?” I asked and he sm-irk.
“No….he should be somewhere with beggars by now” he said.
“There is really alot I don’t know about you Mr husband” I said.
“All you have to know is that am your husband and you’re my wife….” he said and ki-ssed my head. Leon was happy that Gem doesn’t how ruthless he is how everyone fears him.
“Hubby am hungry” I said holding my stomach and he smiled. He told the maids to serve me in our room.
His phone started ringing. He look at the phone and frown.
“Hello….what???, right now???….I’ll be there… alright” he ended the call.
“Work?” I asked with a sad face.
“Hmm…. finish your food first before I leave” he said and sat close to me.
“No you can go…I have granny I’ll be fine”
“Dummy…. you’re married to me not grandma….” he said
“Jealous?” I asked and he took a spoon of soup and push it into my mouth.
“Just eat” he said and his phone started ringing again.
“Just go Leon….” I said
“Kitten……”
“Leon….go to work…they nee-d you..I’ll be fine” I said though I was dying inside.
“If I leave now I will be going to France for a business trip, from there I’ll go to Spain….it will last a week or two” he said.
“Do you think I’ll miss you?,hahaha….I won’t even know you’re…….” his soft li-ps landed on mine. He ki-ssed me fiercely, I tried ha-rd not to cry but it was too late. My tears was falling like rain. I ti-ght my hands around his ne-ck, I didn’t want to let go. He wasn’t going to break the ki-ss neither was I. I wanted to co-ckthe life out of his li-ps but then his phone rang. I knew I had to let go of him so I broke the ki-ss.
“Kitten…you…you’re crying?” he asked.
“No….it’s just… something entered my eyes and….”
“If you want I won’t go!” he said about to ki-ss me again but I covered his mouth.
“You have to go Leon…I’ll be here waiting for you” I said and I push his che-st gently. He hu-gged me again and rush out of the room.
Looking at the food in front of me, I lost my appetite.
It’s been two days I haven’t heard from Leon. I always call and send him text but he wouldn’t reply me. I missed him so much. Grandma had to leave too saying there was an emergency.
It was on Thursday I want to film a commercial.
“So miss Gem you’re becoming very famous….how do you feel?”
“Well I feel quite proud….am really happy…but all thanks to my fans out there….” I said
“You look beautiful today” she said
“Thanks”
“So how does it feel to be acting in the same film with the goddess?” she asked and I smiled
“It’s fun…it’s great….I don’t know how to explain it but am happy”
“Gem there is this question pumping in everybody’s mind, do you have a boyfriend?” she asked. I didn’t know what to say….there is no way am expo-sing my relationship with Leonel.
“No….I don’t have a boyfriend” I said, well Leonel is not my boyfriend, as a matter of fact he is my husband.
After much questioning the commercial was over.
The camera was still following behind me when I heard someone called me.
“Gemmy!!!!” there is only one person who calls me that……Ryan…my first love who is now engaged to Jolene. I turn around it was really him. He opened his hands for a hu-g.
“Ryan!” I smiled and hu-gged him.
“Wow….you look different” he said
“is different okay?” I asked and he nodded.
“You’re so….cute….I feel like giving you a nickname” he said
“What nickname?” I frown
“Mm…Jade” he said
“And why that?” I asked smiling
“Because you’re sparkling….” he said, his eyes were glue to mine. The way he looks at me was really strange.
“I want to eat dinner with this beautiful lady, what do you say?” he asked.
“Well this beautiful will love to eat dinner with this handsome young man” I said and he hunk his hands round my wai-st. Ryan and I have been friends since middle school. I’ve always liked him but he liked Jolene and they started dating. I’ve always love him but now…. seeing him…I feel nothing….I see him like a friend now. We laughed and chatted.
“So…how’s your boyfriend?” he asked.
“I don’t have one” I said and his face seems to brighten.
“Really?”
“Yes…” I said.
“Why?” he asked.
“Because of none of your business” I said.
“hahaha….I’ve missed you” he said.
“Me too”
After eating we walk out of the restaurant
“Let me drop you home” he said
“don’t worry” I said
“Gem am a gentleman…let me drop you home” he said “I can’t live you here…it’s late” he said.
“Don’t worry…. I’ll call my manager to come pick me up” I said.
“Gem…you don’t want me to know your house… please…I won’t leave you here….” he said and grab my wrist.
“Ryan what are you doing…..let go of me…. you’re hurting me!!!” I yelled.
“No I won’t leave you here….if you don’t show me your home I’ll take you to my hotel suit”he yelled “Why are you avoiding me….huh?, why are you making me feel crazy….do you know how much my heart kills me to see you like this?” he yelled.
“I said let go!!!!” I yelled just then, four women in Black suit showed up and kick Ryan down. Ryan men show up and they pointed there gun at the girls. Surprisingly the girls pulled out their own gun and point it at them.
“Who the f*¢k are these girls!!!??” Ryan yelled.
“Madam are you okay?” one of the girls asked.
“Madam?” Ryan said and look at me. I was already angry that he use for-ce on me.
Without looking at him I said to them. “Take me home”………….

Ryan got back to his senses, why was he so angry that Gem refused to follow me and who was those girls guiding her?, is it true was Jolene told him that Gem sells her body to old men?.
He look at his men and said
“Find out who she’s with….” he said
“Yes sir”.
The five girls watch as Gem cry in the car. She was crying so bad. Her face was red and her wrist was hurt.
“Madam?” one them called.
“Am fine…Am fine” I said knowing they were worried.
“Do you want to go to the hospital?” she asked again.
“Am fine….d…don’t worry” I said.
We got home and I rush out of the car to Susan.
“Call Leon for me…he’s not taking my calls” I said.
“Madam are you alright, you look hurt?” she said.
“Am fine….Leon….h…he’s not picking my calls nor replying my messages, am sure you can contact him” I said
“Am sorry madam but I can’t do that” she said
“Why???, am his wife….he’s married to me…. you’ll listen to me….I said call my husband!!!!” I yelled
“I can’t do that!” she yelled back.
“Ok…ok…am sorry I yelled… please…. please just call him am worried…I miss him…. please” I said holding her hands.
“You don’t even know anything about your husband, am sorry I can’t contact him” she said.
“But it’s been three weeks…he..he said… he’ll be back in two weeks….. please….just tell me he’s fine!!” I said
“Yes he’s fine” she said.
“Thank you” I said and went upstairs.
Susan watch Gem, she’s just a naive and innocent girl, she knows nothing…she’s just too pure for all these. And what’s with this Leon. She’s been trying to contact him but she can’t. She was worried too.
Lying on my bed I took my phone and texted him.
‘You je-rk, once you come back I’ll divorce you. Why would you abandon me. I hate you…..I hate you so much…..don’t come back…just die there. Get Rosemary to come and help you feel better. I don’t ever want to you again….Liar….I hate you’
I cried so much that night. I couldn’t sleep that night. I was up till day break. My wrist was swollen and it hurts.
Susan was shocked when she saw me. She quickly called doctor Chen.
When I saw him I jumb off the bed.
“Doctor…. have you seen or heard from my husband… please….tell me you have…he’s not…..” I burst into tears.
“Madam…..I can’t contact him too…. neither can Susan here” he said
“What?, I thought you said he was fine!!!” I yelled
“Madam… please let me Chen look at your wrist.” she said.
“Get out….all of you….just go!!!!” I yelled.
“Let me treat you….if Leon should come he won’t be happy to see you like this” he said
“You don’t un-derstand….he said two weeks….I waited patiently but now…it’s almost four weeks and he’s not here…..am scared” I said.
“It’s okay…… please madam” he said.
Mr Chen injected me and I sleep off. He treat my wrist.
“How is she?” Susan asked.
“Not good….. thankfully you called her wrist would have been damage” he said.
“Have you heard from Leon?” she asked.
“Let’s talk outside”.
“Leon was shot by a gun” he said
“What?” Susan yelled.
“He has been in a critical condition for a week now, but he’s getting better now……”
“You have to let him know that Gem is worried sick, and what about his phone?, why isn’t him replying her message?” she asked.
“The enemies got his phone” he said.
“When is he coming back”
“Till he’s better, he doesn’t want Gem to get worried and cry”
“Well she’s already worried and she’s crying…can’t you see?” Susan yelled.
“I’ll tell him…..he’ll surely be here tomorrow”
The next morning I woke up because of my phone. It kept on ringing. It was Leon.
“L….Leon?……Leon”
“Gem….it’s me”
“Leon….I missed you, you crazy bastard we’re are you?”.
“Gem….I don’t have much time. I want you to come to ******** factory, don’t tell anyone…don’t even bring your bodyguard…..Gem come alone and make sure you switch off your phone”
“Huh?, why?….. hello?, hello..?”
“Madam is that sir Leonel” she asked and I nodded.
“It’s strange…. don’t tell anyone…I have to go…uhmm what’s your name?” I asked her, she’s one of my new bodyguard.
“Sasha” she said
“Good Sasha….I want you to help me snick out of this mansion….” I said and she nodded. I switched my phone off and followed her.
Leon and doctor Chen came back to the mansion. Leon look worried, when Chen told him what happened to Gem he immediately took a night flight home so he could see her. He rushed into the house. Susan saw him and was surprised.
“Sir!!!!” she yelled
“Were is Gem?” he asked.
“She still sleeping inside” she said and Leon rushed upstairs only to open the door and met an empty bed. He frown, check everywhere in the room but couldn’t find her.
“Susan…..she…. she’s not here” he said.
“What she’s in her…..” she swallow her words when she didn’t see Gem.
“What’s happening…. Susan where is my wife!!!!!” he yelled and Susan shiver.
“Sir…..sir……why….why are you here?” Sasha asked.
“What do you mean?” Leon asked.
“Didn’t you call Gem a while ago to meet up.with you somewhere….she’s on her way to meet you” she said
“Meet me?, I never called her my phone……my phone is with……no…..no…..where is she?” he asked
“She left minutes ago….I found it suspicious too so I put a tracker on her body…..she’s heading to ******* factory” Sasha said.
Leon took out his new phone and made a call.
“The enemies are after my wife now father……what the f*¢k is going on???, I want her back in one hours….not a single hair should be missing in her body….or else!!!!!!!!!!!” he yelled…
