What did I do again?
This lady keep catching off guard
” Kira! ” I called as soon as she left my room
I went after her just as she was about to enter her room, I gr@bb£d her hand but somehow we both entered her room while she was struggling to re-move her hand from mine
” What? ” She asked looking mad
” Why are you mad at me? ”
” I’m not mad at you ” she said trying to turn away from me but I gr@bb£d both of her hands settling her firmly in my front
” I can see it in your eyes, you are mad at me, but why? ”
” I’m not ” she replied looking away, she is clearly lying
” Tell me what’s wrong Kira ” I said and she suddenly glared at me, that scared me downright
” Yes I’m mad at you, one minute you are looking at me with this kind of eyes, like you are going to t©uçh me the next, sometimes you even go as far as tou-ching me , but then your excuse is always the doctor said, the doctor said like I’m something that only an excuse is worth ” she said looking like she was going to cry
Something squee-zed in my che-st, is that my heart?
” No no no Kira look at me , it’s definitely not that, you are priceless, no excuse is worth you, no gold can measure up to you my dear wife ”
” Are you saying that because the doctor said you should take care of me ” she asked as twin tears rolled down her pretty face
Oh Lord I don’t think I can take it anymore
” No Kira, absolutely not, I’m saying this because I want to say it, not just that but because that’s the plain truth, infact… ” I was going to say I’d do just that, but my mouth couldn’t move
My eyes kept straying to herl-ips and back to her own eyes
I carefully sl!pmy hand into her hair, then the other around her w@!st
I pu-ll-ed her into a gentle embr@ce then sli-pped my hand out of her hair to her back, pressing her against me gently
If I don’t st©p now I don’t know what I might do so I re-leased her gently and pressed a k!ssto her forehead
” Good night ” I said and left for my room
The minute I got inside fell face flat on my be-d and thanked God for self control
I won’t want to take advantage of her weak situation.

What Just Happened?!
I just totally let my guard down
I don’t just un-derstand
My knee buckled and I sank into my be-d, I just told him how I felt at the moment, I pray he didn’t catch on the clue on how I’m really feeling.
What am I feeling?
Everything is just so frustrating, I la-id down on my be-d and said a prayer to God
I don’t want to be broken again, never again, because the way things are going this way, I don’t know what might happen.

She always loved me and there must be a way of getting her back by being just me

The first person that I thought of when I left the church was Calvin
Even I don’t believe it, but the truth is whenever I’m feeling down like I’m right now, I’d go crash at his place or call him out for a drink or two
My phone rang and I brou-ght it out of my pocket, it was my dad, I sighed and picked the phone
” What have you been doing you fool, you should be collecting ideas from that boy you know?, You should be bringing them in and st©p being useless, st©p acting as miserable as you actually are, I’m telling you, he has a book of his master plans and deals, get it and all this pretence would be over, you are useless than your brother actually is, I should have known……” I sighed cutting him short
I was about to give him a piece of my mind but then just like a soft rain of feathers something whispered to me
“… Do not let people break you ” where did I here that from again?
” Look at the ignorant child, sighing and giving me the silent treatment ” he yelled over the phone but I kept my cool
” Goodnight sir ” I said hanging up
My life is a mess right now. And again the voice whispered again
“… You should not carry a burden that’s not for you ”
I’m trying but it seems that burden is now a p@rt of me.

I feel strong enough to see Kira now, all I’d just do is beg and if not….
I stood in front of the hvge house trying to summon courage to alert the security guard, but then this time around even my own courage failed me.
I feel so much like a coward right now, I shouldn’t have tried to kidnap her first.
How would I tell her how much I love her now without scaring her off?, how would I gain her trust back?
I leaned against my back against my car, I looked towards the window which was for the kitchen, the last time I was here the guy was really suspicious that he looked out
I better summon the courage to alert the security guard or he’d alert the police first.

It is getting ha-rder to resist Kira everyday, we’ve been married almost two months now but it feels like twenty years alre-ady.
After almost loosing control that night, she didn’t say anything the following morning, all she did was go around doing things like nothing happened the night before.
Fortunately, one of things I know how to do best is act like nothing happened and it has been working well for the both of us.
The only difference is that we went from being mutual enemies to being friends, just so that she could rest well, I hired a temporary acting CEO and a secretary so that I can be at home with her.
All we do is eat, pla-y, talk,watch movies and sleep, it’s not uncomfortable but it felt weird being off work for more than a month.
” Moses! ” Kira voice c@m£ calling from the sitting room and I rolled my eyes
” How may I help you Tonia ” I said back for revenge
” Spoil sport, have you finished cooking? ” She asked and I hissed
” Spoilt br@t, I’d soon be done ” I said and there was silence for a while, the there was shuffling of feet
” What did you call me? ” She asked entering the kitchen
” What?, I said I’d soon be done ” I said smiling mischievously
” That’s a lie ” she said planting herself directly in front of me st©ping me from escaping
” what did you say? ” She asked and I shrugged
” I said spoilt br@t ”
” I’m a spoilt br@t? ” She asked rolling the sleeves of the oversized shi-t she stole from my room, she sure is in the mood to pla-y.
” Yes you are ” I said side stepping her, I quic-kly switched off the cooker before she attacked me
She sl@pped my back and jumped on me holding me ti-ghtly from behind
” Get down you witch ” I said laughing loudly but she refused
Does she know everything she is doing, ap@rt from ma-king me laugh it is ba-rely having any effect on me.
I turned her so that I am carrying her and her legs are wra-pped around my w@!st.
” Let go! ” She yelled but she wra-pped her hands around my n£¢k
I took her to the sitting room and dropped her on the chair, I held both of her hands above her head, kneeling so that both of her legs are between mine.
” Still wanna fight? ” I asked as blus-h stained her cheek
” I…. I…. Get off me ” she stammered but her eyes were saying something else, more like calling me to come closer to peer further into them
” Do you really want me to get off you? ” I asked my voice coming out lower than I intended
She didn’t say a word, herl-ips just p@rted slightly, and her brown eyes stared de-eply into mine
God I’m sorry if this is going to be a sin.
My head lowered carefully and slowly, I watched her, looking if her expression would change to angry but it didn’t, there was just a second and ba-rely a inch between ourl-ips ,but that was when my stupid phone knew it was going to ring
The moment the phone rang in my pocket, I jumped off and turned to face the other side of the room, I fished out my phone and picked it.
It was one of the security guards calling to tell me that was of Kira’s close friend is around
I told him to allow the person in and I turned to face Kira who was alre-ady sitting down, her face as pink as the trou-ser she was wearing
” Um, someone’s here for you ” I said slowly looking at her
” Oh! ” She exclaimed, she quic-kly stood up and practically flew to the door, I went after her and turned her before she could open the door
” Calm down ” I said and she nodded
Someone knocked and Kira opened the door, her hands fell beside her and her stature went rigid the moment she saw the person at the door
” What do you want? ” She asked and I peeked the guy from the hospital
The same person that tried to o kidnap her!
” Kiki bear I want you back, I want you ” he said trying to gr-ab hold of her hand but I pushed her behind me
” Aren’t you behaving a little too shameless,you are trying to s£dûç£someone else’s wife ” I said as calmly as I could meanwhile in my head I felt like punching him till he faints

” You are the shameless one dude, you s£dûç£d someone else’s woman, Kira is mine, ask her, we were in a relationsh!pfor over four years and I bet she still loves me we are in love dude. ” he said and my hands fell, so this is the man?
” I can handle this ” Kira said shakily, I couldn’t even st©p her from leaving my back and facing the guy
” We are in love?, Lucas you are really shameless, you left over years ago now, no communication, and you remember what you did those two nights?, And you trying to kidnap me recently?, Those incidents are enough to sue you , so kindly take your leave ” she said ban-ging the door in his face
I could hear the guy shouting while Kira almost crashed into the door, something like if I can’t have you, nob©dy can
” Kira…. I ” I was trying to tell her I’m sorry about what just happened, but then I was shocked to my bone marrow by the way she yelled
” Let go of me, you guys are the same ” she yelled running to her room, by the time I recovered from the shock and went after her, she was alre-ady in her room and her door was locked.
I was not pained about what Kira said to me, the painful p@rt is that the woman I love is inside her room crying and I can’t do anything to help.
That was when realization dawned on me, I have fallen in love with Kira
I am in love with her!

Lucas shouldn’t have done that, now I can’t push the memory from that day aside.
The echo of my own scream was coming back to me
My heart ti-ght£ñed and constricted like I was going to die
h0t tears rolled down my two cheeks, it was my mistake, I was infatuated and I thought it was love
I endured Lucas’s misgivings and now I’m being taunted
The rocking of my shoulder due to the way I was crying was certainly a lullaby, because I didn’t know when I fell asleep

She turned me away, she pushed me away, she refused to come with me.
I was not planning on doing it this way but now I have no choice left.
Not like I’m the only one that wants Kira, and since Kira doesn’t want only me, then we would have to get her.
I brou-ght out my phone and dialed the fool’s number, he picked after the 3rd ring
” Hello? ” he asked groggily
” Hello, I have a deal that might interest you, on Kira Lights, I know you want her and so do I, if you’d love to meet up, and may I interest you in the fact that, I’m 92% sure Kira is still unt©uçhed? ”
” What? ” He asked I don’t know maybe it is out of concern or out of fear, Am I ma-king a mistake calling him?
” Would you like to meet up?, So we can talk better ” he agreed and I gave him the address to the cafeteria near my place
I know Edward, he wouldn’t refuse an opportunity to l@ywith a woman he has been pursuing

Calvin started pounding on my door, I couldn’t hear what he was saying because the door was sound proof
But that door he was pounding was definitely not doing him any good
I thought he would leave but 20 minutes later he was still pounding on the door
Isn’t he going to hurt himself?
This brou-ght tears to my eyes, my husband is out there, knocking for me, he was out there calling for me, this time I was shedding tears not because of what Lucas and my best friend did to me, but due to the fact that my husband was out there knocking relentlessly for me to come out
Oh how I love this man
Yes I love him, I flew out of the be-d and went to the door and opened it carefully
As expected he was hurt , his knuckle was bruised but before I could react he engulfed me in a ti-ght hvg
” Kira ” he called and I started sobbing
” Oh baby plea-se don’t cry, I promise I’m going to get him and give him a crooked nose for what he has done to you, just plea-se don’t cry, hit me, do anything you want, just plea-se don’t cry ” he said and I wanted to melt into liquid for him
” Thank you ” I said and he pressed me closer and we were like that for many minutes
” Kira, do you want to tell me what he did to you? ” He asked and I eased my head from his che-st, I looked into his eyes and all I could see is someone I could trust, I nodded and he led me to the couch and we sat on the couch, he la-id my head against his che-st and ca-ressed my hair
” I was in a relationsh!pwith Lucas since I was sixteen, you can call me naive but having the guy I liked and which every girl wanted pursuing me in school was beautiful and I ba-rely gave it time before I agreed,we d@t£d for five years straight, he showered me gifts, praises and we spent most of our time together, I never argued with him for once, even when we quarrel and he is the one started it, I would still be the one to apologise, but then there was a problem, Lucas always wanted S-x and that’s want I’d never agree to, I always tried to convince him that it would be best if we waited, unfortunately I didn’t know he was alre-ady S-xually active and not just with anyone but with my best friend.” I felt Calvin’s muscle tense but I continued anyways the worst is yet to come
” I caught them one day when I visited him in his house unexpectedly, I was shocked because Tiffany my best friend was always the one vouching for him, the moment i saw that, I tried to run away but he caught up with me and tried to f0rç£ himself on him on the staircase, thankfully I managed to push him off and run down the stairs and out of his house. Few weeks later he c@m£ back begging me but I refused, after persistently begging me over the phone and claiming that Tiffany s£dûç£d him, I decided to grant him audience, so I foolishly agreed to meet at his house, unfortunately it was a tra-p, he gave me a drink but thank God I was wise enough to not drink it, he went out saying he was going to get something, I felt sleepy so I decided to rest till he comes back. Thank God I didn’t sleep for too long because Lucas c@m£ back with Tiffany, they were both laughing and jesting about his I fell into the tra-p, I opened my eyes and stood up, they were really shocked but not for too long, because Lucas pushed me to the be-d trying to take advantage of me, I started tearing my clothes off ma-king me regret I ever met him, Tiffany was laughing that it was annoying me. Thankfully I started choking on something I didn’t even know about, I thought I was going to die and so did they, they left me and fled the house, but then thank God I was okay after few minutes, the moment I was strong enough, I took one of his shi-t and ran to my dad’s place, few weeks later I got news that Tiffany and Lucas traveled abroad to get married. ” I looked up to see Calvin’s expression, he had a deadly glare on, glaring at no one in p@rticular
