Chapter 34
★ (We are gonna stick together) ★
A guy was laying on the bed sleeping peacefully with his phone. He gro-aned as he opened his eyes and stretched to take the phone.
“Wa-ssup Leo” He said as he placed the phone on his ear.
“Kingston, where are you? I have been waiting for you ar the club” Leo said.
“Ohh, Bro… I don’t think I will come to the club tonight” He said, rubbing his hand on his hair.
“Why?” Leo asked.
He was about to say something when his younger brother came in.
“Hey, bro” Ryan said with a smile.
“Get out of my room” He said with a frowned.
“Kingston, are you there?” Leo said.
“Bro, I will speak with you later” He said and hung up.
He turned to Ryan with a frown.
“What do you want?” He asked, gazing at him.
“Dinner is ready so mom said I should call you” Ryan said and he nodded.
He gave him an eye signal to leave, Ryan scoffed and left.
“When did I fell asleep?” He thought and yawned.
He was walking out of his room when his phone suddenly ring, Piper’s name was shown on the screen, he smirked then picked up.
“Hey” Piper said.
“What is it?” He asked as he climbed the stairs down.
“Do you still want Sawyer?” Piper asked.
“Yes but she won’t give…”
His sentence was interrupted.
“Yeah, I think you should come and school in Korea if you want to get her” Piper said.
“B**ch, what are you plotting this time” He asked.
“Do you know that Sawyer is in relationship with another guy?” Piper blurted out.
“What?” He exclaimed.
“It’s the true” Piper said and laughed.
“No way, nobody can snatch her away from me” He yelled.
“If you want her to be yours, come to Korea” Piper said and hung up.
“Nobody can snatch Sawyer away from me” He yelled.
“Do you think she will give you a chance… have you forgotten what you did to her?” His eldest sister Nina said, walking towards him.
He frowned as soon as he saw her.
“Mind your business… don’t interfere in my matter” He said and she scoffed.
“Do you think she is a fool to give…”
“If you say one more word, you’re gonna see my other side” He cut off.
She glared at him and left.
When Kingston got to the living room, he met his parents sitting at the dining table.
“Hey, you are here” Ryan said with a roll.
“Hi mom and dad” He said as she walked towards them.
“Hi, you look sad… what’s wrong?” Mr Lewis asked, facing him.
“Dad, I’m going to Korea tomorrow” He said.
Mr and Mrs Lewis exchanged glances.
“Why?” Mrs Lewis asked, gazing at him.
“You don’t need to know” He said as he sat down.
“There is a reason why he is going to Korea” Nina said and folded her hands beneath her bre-ast .
“Wait, don’t tell me he is going there because of Sawyer” Mrs Lewis said and blinked her eyes.
“You got it mom… he is going there because of Sawyer” Nina said and smirked.
“Kingston, forget about the girl… you know she can’t give you a chance in her heart again, do you even think she forgive you for what you did to her” Mrs Lewis said.
“You guys should mind your business” He shouted and stood up, angrily.
He glared at Nina before walking away.
At The Club***
When Sawyer and her friends got to the club, they find a place to sit. Mimi,Brian and Naomi went to dance while Sawyer leaned her head on Rhett’s shoulder, he cupped her face and ki-ssed her.
“Babe, what’s wrong?” Rhett asked, gazing at her.
“Rhett, my stomach is hurting” She said, sadly.
“Sorry, sweetie… should we go back to the Mansion?” Rhett asked and she raised her head and then she shook her head.
“I don’t think we should stay here anymore, let’s go back to the Mansion” Rhett said and held her hand.
They were about to leave the club when Piper, Karin and her entered.
She hissed and glared at them then they left.
Minutes later they got back to the Mansion, Rhett got down in front of the car and opened the door for Sawyer, she stepped out of the car, she turned to go inside when Rhett called her then he carried her in a bridal style.
“Rhett, put me down” She said with a smiled
“No” Rhett said and took her upstairs.
“Rhett, I’m hungry… let’s cook together” She said with a pout.
He chuckled and sat down on the bed next to her.
“I will go and cook…”
She lay a finger on his li-p before he could finish his statement.
“No… pleaseee” She pleaded.
“Okay, fine” Rhett said.
They got down on the bed at once and left the room when they got to the living room, they headed straight to the kitchen, they walked into the kitchen and started cooking.
Two hours later, they were done, they prepared apple pie. They served in two and started watching a movie.
“Eat gently” Rhett said and wiped her mouth with a nipping.
She smiled.
“Let me feed you” Rhett said and she nodded.
He asked her to open his mouth then she feed her.
After some minutes, they were done eating, Rhett packed the plates to the kitchen, they sat down on the couch, Sawyer lay down on his lap.
“How is your stomach… I hope you are feeling better now” Rhett asked and she nodded.
He ki-ssed her and she reciprocated.
“Agggh!!” She suddenly screamed .
She closed her eyes tightly.
“What’s wrong? Is it hurting you again” Rhett asked.
“Yes, Mi Corazon” She replied.
“Let’s go to the hospital” Rhett said.
“Huh, no… I’m not going” She said and shook her head.
“Babe…”
“No, Rhett… I want us to stay together, I don’t wanna go anywhere” She said.
He sighed.
“Okay, fine” He said.
She smiled at him, he removed the strands of her hair then rubbed her cheek.

The next day***
Immediately Rhett and Sawyer stepped out of the car, a car drove in speedily, they both turned back and Kingston stepped out of the car. Sawyer was shocked when she saw him, she glanced at Rhett and at him.
“Why did he come here?” She muttered.
“Who?” Rhett asked, gazing at her.
“Nobody” She replied, instantly.
The students started murmuring when Kingston was walking towards where Rhett and Sawyer were standing.
“Hi” Kingston said when he got there.
“Oh shit, how did he know I was in Korea? Rhett must not find out who he is to me” She thought.
“Guy, do you know us?” Rhett asked.
Kingston was about to nod his head when Sawyer gave him an eye signal.
“No” Kingston said and smiled at Sawyer.
She looked away. Kingston rubbed his hair and left, Rhett turned to Sawyer.
“Do you know him?” Rhett asked, gazing at her.
“Y…e…n…no” She stuttered.
“Snorky bear, why do I feel that you know him” Rhett thought.
Sawyer tapped him, jotting him out of his thoughts.
“Let’s go to the cla-ss, babe” She said and he nodded slowly.
They left.
When they got to the cla-ss, Rhett met Juan sitting next to Kingston, he sat down next to Brian.
“We have a new student with us… Kingston, welcome here”
Prof. Gavin said as he faced him.
“Thank you sir” Kingston said with a smile.
He glanced at Sawyer before sitting back.
Hours Later***
Professor Gavin was done with the cla-ss, as soon as he left, the students also started leaving one after the other. Piper walked towards where Kingston was sitting.
“Kingston, welcome to Korea” Piper said with a smile.
“Thanks, Piper” Kingston said with a smirk.
“Sawyer, don’t you see Kingston… don’t you miss him” Piper said.
Rhett glanced at Sawyer.
“I thought you said you didn’t know him” Rhett said and she became silent.
“You must be Rhett” Kingston said as he walked towards him.
“Who are you and how did you know Sawyer” Juan asked.
“I’m Piper’s friend so Sawyer knows me throu-ghPiper, am I right Sawyer” Kingston asked, gazing at her.
Sawyer nodded instantly.
“Why do I feel you guys are lying” Rhett said as he stood up.
Piper was about to say something when Kingston gave her an eye signal to keep quiet, she scoffed and stomped out of the cla-ss.
“Rhett, don’t you believe me” Sawyer said.
“I believe you, Snorky bear” Rhett said and faked a smile.
He pecked her li-p and Kingston frowned.
“Can we go to the restaurant, I am starving” Sawyer muttered.
Rhett nodded and held her hand then they left.
“Rhett, you will soon back off, Sawyer is mine and mine alone” Kingston thought.
“Guy, what are you thinking?” Juan said and tapped his shoulder slightly.
“Nothing” He said and shook his head.
Juan and Brian left the clas-swith Naomi.
“Guys, why do I feel as if Sawyer is hiding something from Rhett” Juan said as they walked away.
“Same too… I think she is hiding something from Rhett” Naomi said.
“She should tell him, if he finds out by himself, he would be mad at her” Juan said.
At The Restaurant***
Sawyer and Rhett sat down on the chair when they got to the restaurant, a lady walked up to them and asked them what they would like to order, she gave them the menu. Sawyer glances throu-gh.
“Can I have apple pie and cape codder?” She said and the waiter nodded.
Rhett also asked for the same, she smiled at him.
“Sawyer” Rhett called and held her hand.
He stared at her.
“Yes, Mi Corazon” She said, not looking at hun.
“Why do I feel you are hiding something from me… if you have anything you are hiding, tell me” Rhett said, gazing at her.
She sighed.
“Should I tell him? If I tell him, he would get mad at me, I think I shouldn’t tell him” She thought.
“Sawyer, are you listening?” Rhett called, jotting her out of her thoughts.
“Babe, I am not hiding anything from me” She said and bit her li-ps.
“You are…”
“This is it” The waiter interrupted.
She dropped the food and the drink on the table then left.
“Sawyer, I hope you are telling the truth” Rhett said and she nodded slowly.
“She is still lying” Rhett thought.
“I can’t wait to taste this” She said and he nodded.
Rhett glimpsed at her before eating.
At Clemson University ***
Kingston was walking out when Piper showed up, she smirked and hissed.
“What do you want?” Kingston asked with a frown.
“Why did you lie to Rhett that you don’t know Sawyer?” She asked as she folded her hands beneath her bre-ast .
“Piper, don’t ruin my plan… Do you know what I am planning?” Kingston asked and she rolled.
“What are you planning?” She said with a smirk.
“The reason why I lie to Rhett is because I don’t want him to find the secret between Sawyer and I now…I want to find out by himself so that he would be mad at her and ask her to end the relationship… I want to ruin their relationship” Kingston said, gazing at her.
“Ohh, I love that” She said.
“Thanks” Kingston said as he walked out.
“Wait” She said and ran after him.
“What is it again?” Kingston asked, facing her.
“Can we go to the restaurant together?” She asked.
Kingston was about to say something when Rocky showed up.
“Hi Piper” Rocky waved at her.
“Kingston, ignore him” She said and glared at Rocky.
She dragged Kingston away.
At Mr Miller’s Company***
Mr Miller was busy operating the system when he heard a knock door, he glanced at the door and at the system.
“Come in” Mr Miller said.
A young handsome guy stepped in.
“Hi Mr Miller” The guy greeted him with a smile.
“Reed” Mr Miller called in surprise.
“Yes, sir… how have you been?” He said, gazing at him.
“I’m fine, please sit” Mr Miller.
Reed smiled and sat down.
“Where is Sawyer, sir?” He asked.
“She is not living in America, she is in Korea” Mr Miller replied.
He nodded.
“The reason why I am here is because I heard that you want to develop a new system” He said.
“Yes” Mr Miller said with a nod.
“Can I join your team? He asked and he glanced at him.
“Sure” Mr Miller said.
“Thanks” He said with a smile.
“You’re welcome” Mr Miller said.
