( Short episode)
I looked at the gun that was Infront of my face. I was pretty dead already.
I had just one thing to do.
” One second more..” Demin said turning on the trigger. I bit my li-ps and fell my heads helplessly. Things were not going well for me.
” Let make a deal” I said looking back at him. He sighed shaking his head.
” Dude…just say yes or no” He yelled.
” You can have her. But you dare not lay your hands on me thereafter” I said.
” So that’s a yes?” He asked. I bit my li-ps and fell my heads again.
” Yes” I whispered in grit.
He kept his gun back in his pocket and began to head towards the door.
” Dude!. Aren’t you gonna get this ropes off me?!” I yelled. He smi-rked and turned halfway around to face me.
” By the time you leave this door, the whole world knows I took Abigail away from you. So well-” he waved his hands at me. ” I think in here suits you better”
” What!. Hey..hey..you dare not step out of that door. Get me out of here!…hey dude!…dude!” I yelled but he slammed the door against me.
I rested my head on the wall and exhaled de-eperly. My phone was in my front pocket. It’s up to me to see if it’s possible to stretch up to it and call my agent.
I moved my hands slowly down my pocket. Oh geez..it was almost impossible.
There should be another way out.
I looked around and finally…
I saw a knife laying just a feet away from me. I smiled and decided to use man-wisdom. After all, I got legs too.
I squinted my body just to stretch my feet. When the knife was in my legs trap, I drew it towards where my hands could easily take it.
I reached for it with my index finger, then drew it towards me. I picked up the knife and a sigh of relief escaped my li-ps.
Demin…this is going to be a man to man fight for love. I don’t care the badboy you are…I’m going to do anything to be with Abigail.

Demin:
I opened the door to the room my friends had kept Abigail. She was laying unconsciously on the floor.
She hadn’t gotten herself after the syringe she was injected. I knelt in front of her and took the hair covering her face.
I drooled over her beautiful babyish face again. She was just a rare type of beauty. Brown beautiful eyes…a kind of rabbit teeth, I guess.
Since Jace agreed for me to have her, she’s now mine, I’ll make her my wife quickly and make her have kids for me before her time run out.
Infact, tomorrow morning, we are moving to the church. I can’t bear this feelings I have for her any longer.?
I carried her up excitedly and ki-ss ed her li-ps gently. Then I walked out of the room heading out of the uncompleted building hideouts.
I hadn’t reach the exist door when I realized someone was following me behind. I stopped.
I could still hear his footsteps coming behind.
” Just drop her down”
It was Jace voice.
I turned around and was surprised to see him. How did he escaped from the ropes I tied his hands into.
” Well I’m not surprised that you released yourself from the ropes. I’m sure you are perfectly prepared for your death” I told him.
” You know, we should probably use physical fight than guns or knifes. That’s to show who’s more strong enough for this battle” He told me holding his wai-st. I could only sm-irk wickedly.
” Fine” I shrugged.
I felt Abigail slightly moving in my hands. I kept her down and threw my guns aside too.
” I’m unarmed” I surrendered raising my hands.
He walked towards me with ease and held my collar. He secretly drew out a knife from his back pocket to stab me but being a murderer myself, I was quick to notice.
I caught his wrist halfway and made the knife fall.
” You said physical fight” I gritted angrily at him. He punched my li-ps with hardly and blood gushed out.
I paused seeing what he had just done to my beautiful li-ps. He hadn’t yet know who I was. If he’d known, he wouldn’t have done that. I’ll just take it easy with his for now.
I took his hands and strangled it behind him.
He winced in pain and gave me one pounce in my stomach. I fell backwards and stood up immediately.
” Hmm… you’re really a good fighter” I teased him while taking some slow steps.
” Just surrender Abigail. I loved her first!” He yelled.
” Uumh.!” I heard a loud yawn.
I turned to stare at Abigail.
She was slowly standing up from the ground where I had laid her. We both rushed towards her both holding each of her hands.
” Abigail..are you okay?” Jace asked.
” Abigail. Is everything alright?” I asked mine.
She stared at both of us in a confused state.
” Wha.. what’s happening?” She asked creasing her brow. I and Jace looked at each other then returned to stare back at Abi.
” Abigail..who do you love most?” We both chorused dragging her arm rou-ghly.
” I..I..” her eyes went blurry and then she left balance and fainted on Jace arms.
My eyes got wide when I saw blood running down her nose…
Oh no..her sickness!. Not again..please.

Finally!!
The light finally came in. I was so worried and scared after the incident happened.
We all sat down murmuring angrily.
” Everyone.. everyone!.” The owner of the restaurant came out to apologize. ” It was a slight issue from the current. I promise it wouldn’t happen again. And because of the situation, everyone get 10% discount from their meal price”
fu-ck!. What’s my business if he removed 10%discount. It doesn’t change the world..does it?
I turned towards Jace and couldn’t find him sitting beside me again. I looked towards Abigail’s seat and she wasn’t there, even her parents were beginning to get worried.
” They were here a while ago. I..I don’t know when they left… without us” Abigail’s dad crowed.
I stood up angrily and turned to Jace bodyguard.
” Isn’t it your duty to watch over Jace!. You know he’s too popular to move around alone!” I yelled holding his collar.
” Please. I wasn’t able to see anything after the black out. He wouldn’t have gone far from this restaurant. Everyone should get into the car so i can call his agent to settle this problem” the bodyguard calmly said.
” Well you guys better find him for me. He can’t just disappear out of nowhere!” I yelled and took up my bag. I was so pissed about Jace leaving with Abigail!… without me!. He’s such a fu-cking big cheat!.
I realized Abigail’s family were following me behind towards the limousine. I turned around to face them with disgust written all over my face.
” Where do you think you are going to?” I yelled.
” To Jace house” Mr Rogers replied.
” You all better drag your stinky bu-tt to somewhere else. Your comfort zone isn’t Jace place or his car. Get the fu-ck out so I can receive some space of fresh air!” I fretted.
They were about leaving in a disappointed state when a little boy they referred to as Jake came by.
” As far as Jace is with our sister we ain’t leaving!” He yelled folding his hand. ” Hey.. bodyguard..or whatever your name is, open that door let’s go to Jace home…our home!.” He yelled.
I turned to the bodyguard and saw him readily obey the little child without any flinch.
” Why did you listen to him!” I yelled as I watched the family all vogue into the car happily.
” Even the little boy as right and order over Jace property than you” the bodyguard responded respectfully. Yet I felt he said it sarcastically.
My ears almost lost his hearing.
” You said what!”
” The orders was given to me by Jace” the bodyguard replied. ” Are you ready to get into the car or not..?” He asked.
I spat on him and walked out. It’s was much better to trek home than enter the car with some bunch of fowls.
Like seriously…that word I heard today made me have migraines. ‘ Even the the little boy has order over Jace property than you’

As soon as Abigail was rushed into the emergency ward, I sat at the hospital chair restless with my mind roaming.
If you could hit my head ten times, I wouldn’t notice because my mind was preoccu-pied with lots of scary thought.
I looked at Demin who was sitting beside me in the chair. He didn’t seem so preoccu-pied or anything. He sat there staring at the ceiling.
I sat up and faced him.
” Look dude. I don’t think we should fight over one girl again. We have to…give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar” I said.
” What do you mean?” He asked turning his head to look at me.
” What I mean is..I know you really love her…and she loves you too. She also loves me…and I love her likewise. It’s just so complicated. I think asking her who she likes more will win this once and for all” I said.
” Guy. The girl is in a comma. Don’t you think we should be concerned about her health first?”
” Oh yeah..yeah” I grimaced resting back on the chair.
I realized the nurses were moving about in and out of the same room. I became terrified at every scene.
The door pushed open and some nurses were pushing Abigail in a bed into another room. Oxygen was put in her nose and some held her drips. I stood up faciled.
I and demin ran over to them in a haste just to be sure everything was okay.
” Nothing is okay, sir. She’s dying. The only saving grace for her is doctor shutt”
Who was doctor shutt. I’m dead terrified right now. I hope doctor shutt comes quickly. I don’t want ANYTHING to happen to Abigail.
If something happens to her..I’ll just jump into a lagoon.
A doctor walked into the hospital with some nurses running along with him. Perhaps, that was the doctor. I didn’t stop him so that he would get to the emergency room on time.
I sat back on my chair and bent my heads down in grief.
” I have a fate that nothing will happen to Abigail” I heard Demin say. When did this bullshit began to have fate.
Although, I also believed him. Nothing is definitely going to happen to Abigail.
Definitely nothing…

Six hours later…
I woke up after hearing the push of a door. I didn’t realize when I had slept.
I checked the time and saw it was six in the morning.
I looked up and saw doctor shutt coming out of his office.
” Good morning, doctor” I quickly sat up to greet.
” Good morning, Jace” he replied with a firm but logistic smile. He even knows My name.
” Wow. You know me” I said perplexed.
” Who doesn’t. You are like an idol to girls and a model to guys” He said I laughed sarcastically. ” However. The young girl you brou-ght to the hospital almost died last night” he continued
Thank God it was an ‘Almost’.
” What’s actually wrong with her?” I asked curiously.
” Well. From my observation, she has a strict cancer which had almost covered quarter of her heart. She’s also develop breathing issues and slow rate of heartbeat.” He said.
My mind went completely blank…numb… empty.
” Does she still need a surgery?” Demin took over.
” Yes, very well sir. She needs a heart donor before time. Right now, there’s no heart donor for her. So…The required heart must be brou-ght to the office between now and next month” the doctor cruised.
” Okay. The donor will be brou-ght before next month” Demin replied.
I looked at him short of words. We hadn’t even searched for who was ready to sacrifice is heart for her and he’s already saying it would be ready.
” Well, however. The little girl is awake and a bit strong now. But that doesn’t mean she’s healthy. Any more mistake, she might die. ”
” We know that very well sir. Can we go meet her?” I asked.
” Yeah..yeah.. she’s probably ready to go home as well.” The doctor said and walked out. I and Demin rushed into her ward to see her.
She was sitting on the hospital bed eating some chips.
” Abigail..” I called gently while walking towards her. I sat on her bed and patted her soft hair gently. ” Are you alright?” I asked.
” The doctor said I need a heart transplant. Who’s ready to give me his heart?” She suddenly asked.
I looked at her confused. I turned to stare at Demin who was resting on the wall afar.
” Abi…”
She came down the bed and wore her shoes.
” I want to disclose to you guys today. I really love you both. But anyone… who’s ready..to give me his heart is who I love more.” she said as a single tear roll down her cheeks.
I felt my throat get a lump by the tears.
” I didn’t want to fall in love or make anyone fall in love with me. But…i guess life as turnarounds sometimes. Right now…I want to go home and start a fresh. I want to leave and depart from you both heart.
Don’t ever come back for me!. Don’t ever try to look for me!. Just Let me live and die in peace..please. I’ve heard enough!” She yelled and walked out , Demin gripped her wrist before she could step out of the door.
” Abi. I’m ready to give you my heart.
But that doesn’t mean Jace doesn’t love you. He has the heart of an angel. I only made this decision to sacrifice my heart for you the first time I heard about your sickness. I was really down..I couldn’t watch you die.” He said and held her hand.
” Don’t love me more than Jace. I’m doing this not out of love but because I un-derstand what you’re going throu-gh.
” And to those who said I’m a bad guy…I became this way after my parents were killed and…you know..all his property where taken away right in my face when I was seven. Since then, I strived to take revenge on every single one of them. Though, I end up regretting killing people.
And my sister Lexi, turned out to be so wretched because of lack of parental care. She grew up in the streets and managed to survive by prostitute making.
That’s why, you don’t have to jump Into judging, in life, there is always a story behind everything…”
