Ding! Ding!
Anna hears her doorbell rings, she rushes to the door and sees Andre standing outside.
“Mr Knight, plea-se come in!” She ushers him in.
Andre walks in and st©ps abruptly when he sees Lucas.. they both glare at each other without uttering a word.
Andre pushes him out of the way and walk into the living room.. looking around for Debby.
“Anna, where is my Angel?”
“In her room, come with me” Anna said.
She shows Andre to Debby’s room…fear grip him when he sees her laying on the be-d.
Andre rushed to her be-dside and takes her hand in his…he studies her carefully.
Her face pale and herl-ips blue…like she’s short of blood.
“Angel? Angel?” He called…but she didn’t move.
He turns to Anna and asked. “What happened? Why did she pas-s out?”
Anna shakes her head, indicating she doesn’t know what happened.
Lucas strolls in with his hands tucked in his pocket.
“We should be the one asking you what happened?!”
Andre grits his teeth and pretends like he didn’t hear him… After all, he promised Debby he won’t pick a fight with Lucas ever again.
“Anna….”
“What did you do to Debby?!” Lucas cuts him off. “Why is she badly wounded?!”
Lucas questioning him like this is really provoking him.. no one dares speak to him in such manner.
But he’s promised his Angel, he mustn’t go back on his promise. Andre closes his eyes to surpress his anger.
“She and Olivia were involved in an accident!” Andre grits out.
Anna steps forward and squats next to debby’s be-d.
“Yeah, she mentioned something about accident but how come?”
Andre stays silent and stares at Debby…he knows who caused the accident but what made Debby believe her so easily is what he doesn’t know.
“I thought she was supposed to be with you in your mansion? You were proposing, right?”
Andre nods.
“Then what happened?”
Lucas scoffed loudly and sits on a chair by the door.
“I bet he made her angry and she ran out in anger”
Andre glares at him.
“If you keep on talking, I’ll forget my promise and make taste my fist!” He growls.
Anna clears her throat and cl@ps her hands lightly. She pas-s Lucas a pointed look.
“Guys, we’re not here to fight!”
She turns back to Andre.
“But I wanna know why she’s in an accident with Olivia, instead of being with you!”
Andre moves his gaze from Lucas and turns back to Debby, his jaw clenched and his fist balled by his side.
“It’s Olivia!” He grits out.
Anna frowns. “Olivia?”
“Yes. My Angel received a call after accepting my proposal and rushed out… then my as-sistant called me and informed me about the news, I turned on my tv and that’s how I found out!”
Anna’s frown de-epens.. even Lucas also frowned at the mention of Olivia’s name.
*Could this be because of Olivia’s child?* Anna thought.
“Olivia is very scheming, I know she lied to my Angel, but I don’t know what exactly is the lie about”
“But Debs wouldn’t believe her easily.. unless Olivia pla-yed on her weakness!” Lucas said.
Andre nods in agreement.. meanwhile, Anna is contemplating we-ther to ask Andre about the child Olivia told Debby about or not.
“Anna, she’s closer to you than me, did she tell you anything?” Lucas asked.
“No!” Anna answers very quic-k…too quic-k that Andre and Lucas squits their eyes at her suspiciously.
Anna looks between them and re-leases a nervous laugh.
“She didn’t tell me..I don’t know anything!”
Andre looks away from her and face Debby.
“I know Olivia too well, she’s very manipulating..I also know my Angel too well, she’s way too kind which means what Olivia told her is very heart tou-ching and that made my Angel fell for lies”
He turns back to Anna and look straight in her eyes.
“So, if you know something then tell me!”
Anna thinks about it for a brief moment and sighs heavily.
She sits down and shuts her eyes momentarily.
“Andre, do you have a child with Olivia?” She asked him.
Andre draws his brows together and stares at her cluelessly.
“No! Olivia didn’t let me have S-x with her… in fact, she cheated on me and that’s what broke us ap@rt!”
“What?!” Anna exclaimed.
She turns to Debby and stares at her for a while and shake her head.
“Olivia told Debby, you and her have a child together”
“What?!” Now it’s Andre’s turn to be surprised.
He’s not surprised that Olivia lied.. he’s surprised because she lied about something as silly as this.
“Yeah, she said she left the child in an orphanage home!”
“That bit-ch!” He murmur. “If Olivia really have my child, according to her personality she’d have told me alre-ady… she wouldn’t keep quiet about it!”
Lucas nods as he recalls something.
“No wonder!” He said.
Anna and Andre turns to him.
“No wonder what?!” They both asked at once.
Lucas reached for his phone and shows them a text Debby s£nt him.
“Debs s£nt me this message this morning, asking me to investigate all the orphanages near by and confirm if Olivia really have a child”
Anna takes Lucas’s phone and re-ads the message aloud.
*Lucas, I met with Olivia… she told me she has a daughter in one of the orphanages… check if it’s true!*
“I did checked.. I asked my friend to check and truly Olivia has a child, though I haven’t told Debby about my findings yet!” Lucas said.
Anna and Lucas stares at Andre, waiting for his explanation.
Andre clenched his jaw.
“If Olivia really has a child.. then I’m not the father, we didn’t have S-x for fv¢k sake!”
Lucas scoffs.
“But there’s evidence that Olivia is right!”
“This is her plan.. to cause discord between me and my Angel”
Anna sighs and hands Lucas’s phone back to him.
“So, Debby didn’t fall for her lie… she was just trying to pl@yalong” Anna said.
Andre stares at Debby with a small smile and ca-ress her cheek softly.
“What do you want to do about Olivia now?” Lucas asked him.
“Nothing!” He replies simply.
“Nothing?!” Anna and Lucas exclaimed simultaneously.
Lucas glares at him.
“What do you mean nothing?! Olivia almost took your fiancée’s life in an accident and you said you’re gonna do nothing?”
Andre sm-irks.
“That’s her greatest mistake, trying to hurt my Angel… I’ll just sit back and watch her get caught up in her web of lies!”
He leans down and k!$$£d Debby’s forehead.. he gets up and turns to them.
“I know Olivia arranged this accident to make my Angel feel guilty… I’ll find the truck driver and make him expo-se Olivia!”
“Then after that?” Anna asked.
“Hand her over to the authority!” Andre replies.
Anna nods in agreement. Lucas rolled his eyes and sits down.
“As if no one else can do that” he grumbles un-der his breath.
“Anna take care of my Angel, I’m going back to the hospital”
Anna frowns.
“Going back to the hospital?! Aren’t you gonna stay here with her?”
He shakes his head.
“No! I bet she wouldn’t want to see me when she wakes up.. right, don’t tell her I know about what she and Olivia talked about!”
“Why? It’ll be a good thing if we tell her you and Olivia have no child together!”
“She wanted to find out herself… let’s just grant her wish!”
Anna nods thoughtfully.
“I should go before she wakes up!” Andre said and walks out if the room.
Anna and Lucas walks him to the door.
“I’ll call later to check on her!”
“Ok….”
Lucas didn’t let Anna complete her statement before he shuts the door on Andre’s face.
Anna glares at him.
“You behaving like a kid!” She roared lowly in his face and marches off towards Debby’s room.
