Debby’s pov
I stared helplessly at Olivia as tears runs down her cheeks… her eyes and face red from crying.
Anyone watching us right now will think I’m bullying her.
I’m speechless..I mean, it seems like I’m the one st©ping andre from acknowledging their baby.
“Where is your child now?” I asked when I finally found words in my mouth.
“I didn’t want her to disturb Andre’s life.. so I took her to an orphanage home”
“You took your child to an orphanage home?! When both her parents are clearly alive?!”
She sobs.
“I didn’t had a choice… If I had kept her with me, Andre would have long found out about it… the only choice was to take her to an orphanage home”
I sighed. I really wanna see this baby… I can’t let her continue staying at the orphanage, she’s not an orphan.
“I’m really sorry Debby.. but you have to un-derstand my predic@m£nt”
“Can I see her?”
“Huh?”
“Your daughter, can I see her?”
“Yes, but…. ”
My phone ringing cuts her off. I reached for my purse and takes out my phone… It’s Anna calling.
“Hey, Anna!”
“Debby, where are you?” She asked.. her tone so alive.
“I’m at FK’s…. ”
“Come over to my ap@rtment right now… I have good news!”
I sighed… She have good news and I just heard a bad news.. I guess I can use some of her good news right now.
“I’ll be right there!” I said and hang up.
“I see you have something to do.. I don’t wanna hold you up” Olivia said.
Right… She just reminded me, I can talk to Anna about this. I got up.
“I have to go!” Without waiting for her response, I rushed out.
I’ll talk to Anna first and hears what she has to say… because right now I’m in a confused state.. my br@in ain’t working.

Olivia wipes her tears as Debby walks out of the restaurant.
Martha who’s been watching the scene from afar, comes and sit on the chair Debby was just sitting.
She cl@ps briefly.
“That was a great scene…so real” she praises her.
“That’s just the beginning, I’ll make her regret coming into Andre’s life!”
“What do you mean?” Martha asked with a frown.
She leans on the table to whisper in Martha’s ear… Martha g@sped loudly.
“That’s too dangerous! It can cost both of your lives!”
“But that’s the only way… it’s the only way I can get Andre back!”
“But….”
“Debby fv¢king Ryan won’t know what hits her!” She sm-irks sinisterly.

Andre’s mansion….!
Natalie look around in confusion as she sees some servants moving things into the mansion.
“Hey! What are y’all doing?” She asked.
But they ignored her and continue with their work.
“St©p it! If you don’t wanna speak, then get out!”
“Natalie.. I asked them to do it!” Andre said and walks in.
“Oh! Mr Knight.. welcome!”
Andre hums and look around.
“Is my Angel home?”
“No, she left after having breakfast!”
“Good! Very good!” He breaths out.
He turns to the boys, he cl@ps his hands and caught their attention.
“I want you to put up the decorations real fast… I want a fast but neat job!”
“Yes, sir!”
He wave them off and slumps onto a sofa… He takes out his phone and dialed Anna’s number.
She picks on the first ring.
“Mr Knight, what a good day for you to call me!”
“Anna, is my Angel with you?”
“No, but she’ll be here soon!”
“Ok.. plea-se do whatever you can to hold her there with you.. you I’ll let you know when I nee-d her home!”
There is a pause from Anna’s side…
“Are you planning a surprise?” She asked.
“Yeah!”
“Ok… I’ll stall her!”
Andre hangs up without saying a thank you… Not that he doesn’t wanna, he just simply forgot.

Debby’s pov
Ding ding!
Anna opens the door and flash me a very bright smile… She pu-lls me in for a ti-ght hvg.
“Debs, come in, come in… I have good news!!”
She pu-lls away from the hvg and drags me inside… if only she knew I’m not a bit.
We sat on a sofa and I tossed my purse and phone on the table.
“Debby, Sean and I are together!”
I smiled. “Wow! That’s great… I’m happy for you!” I said.
She st©ps smiling and frown at me.
“You’re not genuinely happy”
“I am”
“I don’t think so… tell me, what’s eating you?”
I sighed… I don’t know how to start telling her about Olivia’s issue.
“Debby, do you have a fight with Andre?”
“No”
“Then why is your mood so down?”
I l@yback on the sofa and close my eyes.
“Olivia!” I said.
“Olivia?” She sound confused.
“Remember I told you I was at FK’s?”
She nods.
“Olivia and I met there… ”
“You met there?!” She cuts me off.. my eyes snap open in shock. “Why did you meet up with that bit-ch!”
She’s right… Why did I meet up with her? Why did I sit down and listen to her?
Well, that’s not important now… I nee-d her opinion about Olivia’s child with Andre.
“Olivia have a child with Andre!”
She stilled and stares at me with her mouth slightly open.
“What did you say?” She asked.
“Olivia have a child with Andre!”
She moves closer to me.
“She told you this?”
I nod.. then she shakes her head.
“I don’t believe her!”
“You don’t?”
“No!”
She got up and walk to and fro in front of me.
“I don’t believe a word that comes out of Olivia’s mouth”
“You didn’t hear talk about it.. she wouldn’t lie with something like this!”
I mean lying that you were sick and have a baby is not something anyone would joke with.
“You don’t know, Olivia is desperate and will do anything to get what she wants… I know she’s lying!”
I shake my head.
“No.. Anna, I grew up with my parents love, I don’t wanna put their child in that same position… I don’t wanna be the reason that child will grow up with her father by her side”
Anna puts her hands on her w@!st and sighed.
“Does Andre know about this? Have you told him about it?”
“No, he doesn’t know about the baby…”
“Then talk to him, tell hum about the baby”
“You don’t un-derstand.. I can talk to him about the baby yet, I want Olivia to tell him herself!”
She sits down.
“Have you seen the child?”
“No”
“See the child first, tell Olivia you wanna see the baby. Confirm if she really have a child…. then talk to Andre about it”
I think about it… she’s right, I should see the baby first instead of believing Olivia blindly.
“If at all the baby is Andre’s, I’m sure he will find a way to handle this” she puts her hand on my shoulder. “Don’t let this trifle destroy your relationsh!p.. Debby, true love is ha-rd to come by.. don’t let Andre go because of this!”
I nod. I should see if there’s really any baby first before I take any action.
I smiled at Anna and embr@ced her.
“Thanks Anna… I didn’t know what to do”
She pats my shoulder.
“I’m here for you, honey!”
I closed my eyes and sigh. Just then my phone rings, I reach for it and saw it’s Andre calling.
I cleared my throat and answered it.
“Hey Andre?”
“Angel, where are you?” He asked.
“I’m at Anna’s”
“Come home.. I’m hungry!”
I scoffed.
“You’re hungry? Tell Natalie to prepare something for you”
“No, I wanna eat with you”
I rolled my eyes.. I guess I should go home now, after all, I’m quite hungry too.
“Ok, I’ll be back right away!”
“Good, I’ll be waiting for you!”
I hang up and turn to Anna.. I’m surprised to see her wagging her eyebrows tea-singly.
“Your beloved called?”
I rolled my eyes.
“I should head home now or hell’s gonna break loose”
I carried my purse and phone.. I got up and head towards the door.
Anna follows me to the door and I frown… the Anna I know will never walk me to the door.
“Anna?”
“Yeah?”
“Why the hell are you following me?”
She smiles.
“I just wanna say, I’m expecting some good news!”
“Good news?!” I asked in confusion.
“Yeah!”.
“What good news?”
“You’ll know when you get home!”
I stared at her a few minutes and shrug.
“See ya!” I said and left.

Andre’s mansion…!
“You remember what I told you?” Andre asked his staffs.
“Yes, sir!” The chorused in affirmation.
“Good, turns off the lights and get in position!” He orders.
They all rushed around doing their as-signed jobs.. finally they finished and turn off the lights.

30 minutes later….!
The door open and Debby walks in. She looked around in confusion, wondering why it’s so dark inside.
She search the wall for the light switch but the lights suddenly turns on before she could find the switch.
Her mouths hangs open and she stares around in shock.. her eyes settled on a big shining s£ntence on a board thingy in the middle of the living room.
Boldly written in capital letters.
*ANGEL, WILL YOU MARRY ME?!*
Andre walks towards her, staring straight in her eyes… He kneels in front of her and opens the small box with a ring inside.
“Andre? What are you doing?” She asked.
“Angel, I.. I.. you… ”
Andre clears his throat and takes a de-ep breath… he’s surprised how he’s suddenly short of words.
He knew what he wanted to say but he’s not good with words.
“I thought you said you’re hungry!” Debby said.
Then she recalls Anna’s words *I just wanna say, I’m expecting some good news!*
She smiles. *Is this what she means?* She thought.
“I’m not good with words, Angel… You know I’m not like other guys, I’m not ro-mantic at all.. I don’t know the right words to say that’ll make you blus-h.. ”
Debby shakes her head.. if only Andre knew he’s alre-ady ma-king her blus-h by doing all this.
“… But I swear, my love for you is true.. I love you with all my heart.. I have never felt this way for anyone before. You are the only one made for me… I was a beast but your love transformed me… I was a j£rkFACE but you TAMED me”
Debby smile at the statement… she recalls when they first encounter till d@t£… it hadn’t been easy been with him.
“plea-se, Angel, marry me… I promise I’ll treat you right, I’ll always be true and good to you!”
She love him and she’s eager to say yes.. but thinking about things happening now, she becomes downhearted.
Olivia having a kid for him without him knowing..
But then again, she remembers Anna’s words… She loves Andre and he loves her too, she can’t let him sl!pway.
*I should accept his proposal first… We’ll treat Olivia’s issue later!* She thought.
“Marry me, Angel”
Debby stretched out her hand and nod.
“Yes! Yes! Yes!” She chants happily.
“You’ll marry me?” Andre asked to confirm if he heard correctly.
“Yes! I’ll marry you!” She repeats.
Andre slots the ring in her f!nger and gets up with a big smile on his face… He’s never smiled as bright as this.
He holds her face in his hands and crashes hisl-ips on hers… Showing all his love and happiness in the k!ss.
Right then, Debby’s phone rings… She breaks the k!ssand reaches for her phone in her purse.
“Sorry, Andre.. I should take this!”
Andre simply smiles and nod.. his arms sn-ked her w@!st.
She answers the call without looking at the caller’s ID.
“Hello?”
“Debby! Debby!” c@m£ a familiar panicking voice.
She frown at how scared and worried the voice sounds.
“Who’s this?” She asked.
“Debby! Debby! It’s me Olivia… the orphanage… my daughter…”
“Hey! Hey! Calm down and talk slowly!”
She hears Olivia take a de-ep breath.
“Debby, something happened at the orphanage home…”
“What happened?”
“I got a call that it suddenly on fire!”
“What?!” Debby exclaimed in panic.
Andre stares at her with a furrowed brows wondering what happened.
“My daughter.. I don’t know if she’s alright, can you come with me?”
“Where are you?”
“I’m just a few poles away from Andre’s mansion”
Debby re-leases herself from Andre’s embr@ce.
“Wait for me, I’ll be right there!” She hangs up.
She rushes towards the door but Andre pu-lls her back.
“Angel.. what happened? Why are you in a rush?” He asked.
“A child’s life is in danger.. I have to go!”
Andre frown.
“Whose child is it?”
“You don’t know her!”
He frowns de-eply but says nothing.
“Where are you going? I’ll drop you off”
“No! Don’t bother, I’ll be back real quic-k!” She snatches her hand from Andre.
“Alright.. take care and give me a call if something hap….”
She shuts the door on him. Andre simply stood speechlessly.
