★Chapter 49★
(The Awoken Beast)
★Blood Clan★
A bloody fight is taking place between the Terrors and Blood Clan. It’s a massacre with countless dead vampires gone.
They’re all fighting expect Rex and Daira, who needs all the rest she can get because of her state.
Draco is in the center of it all, slaying like a beast from hell. His expression is that of a deranged man who has nothing but insanity to display.
The whole Blood clan hasn’t known any peace since he stepped into there. Even the ground could feel the rage and anger of the heated fight.
“Master, the whole place has been ransacked and there’s still no sign of them” Blaze reported as he appeared and bowed.
His words made Draco’s inner beast fully awake. His red eyes and bloody lips that are stained with the blood of the people he has slayed, showed his great annoyance.
It has been two days since he lost his Gem and there still hasn’t been any sign of her. Vince himself is no longer in his clan and no where to be found.
Draco’s hair grew longer and it’s gold color changed to black. As his aura and expression became darker, his blazing red eyes turned dark red.
A wind stronger than the force of anything blew and the ground began shaking with the pebbles on it.
“This is not good!” Kira muttered as she stopped fighting.
“Yes. We need to leave immediately” Dylan chimed in and separated a vampire’s head with his bare hand.
They disappeared from there at once and landed at a distant to watch the reckoning that’s taking place.
“An intoxicating scent of death at last” Raven smiled devilishly as she watched the building crumble.
Everything and everyone inside there fell into the bottomless opened ground. No one was able to escape cause the whole place is sealed with a barrier.
Even though everything has been destroyed, Draco was still unsatisfied and had the same murderous look on. He has been hung in the air, watching the catastrophe he caused.
He went over to where his team is and they bowed their heads as they saw him. His aura is strong enough to make one pee in their pants.
“Make sure you search everywhere and leave no stone unturned till you find her” he ordered hoarsely.
“Yes master!” they replied simultaneously with a nod.
★The White House★
Adonis crossed his legs majestically, looking breathtaking as always. He wants to drink his tea from his tiny teacup.
The moment the cup came closer to his lips and it’s liquid entered his mouth, a soft smile formed.
“Pardon my disturbance, Master” a guard who came in said as he bowed his head.
“What is it?” His voice came out rough and harsh.
“Lord Vince has truly captured the special Miss and they are yet to be seen” he reported.
“What a good show it’s going to be!” Adonis chuckled, placing his cup down on a fancy table in front of him.
“I thought you needed her too, shouldn’t we find her before he kills her, my Lord?”.
“That wouldn’t be necessary. Even though he roams with stupidity, he won’t be that stupid to kill her”.
“Okay master” the guard responded and left.
“Guess he would finally become Dracula and we would be having a thrilling end at last” he smiled devilishly and returned the cup to his lips.
★De Terrors HQ★
Raven held her head, trying hard to make a connection to where Pearl is. No matter how hard she tries, nothing works. She’s literally unreachable wherever she has been kept.
“You still can’t get her?” Draco asked m, sounding very worried.
“No master. He has made every chance of connecting to her impossible” she replied and sighed.
“F*ck!” He cursed and hit his tight fist on the table, making it divide into two halves.
“That bastard really planned well this time” Dylan said and Rex nodded.
“Isn’t there anything that can be done?” Luna asked, knowing clearly it’s a useless question.
“Yes, something can be done” Raven muttered and everyone turned swiftly to her, including the angry Draco.
“I know a spell that can sense her energy, but it’s a very deadly one”.
“It’s not a solution then” Rex muttered, furrowing his brows.
“Raven, I don’t want anyone taking a silly risk for me. Am going to get her back, even if it involves the hardest way” Draco said between clenched teeth.
“This is only the way you’ll find her. Vince is going to hurt her badly and you know that” Raven responded.
“Then you have to promise to be okay” Rex said sternly, holding her hand.
“I’ll always be okay” she smiled.
“It takes long hours, but if luck shines on my side, I’ll be able to make it back within short hours” She said and they nodded with a sigh.
Raven entered her room and sat in her usual meditating way. With signs she drew on the floor and her blood droplets on it, her mind traveled out without her body.
★The Secret Hideout★
“Come and let me out of here, you son of a devil” Pearl shouted for the tenth time, banging the iron door as she did so.
She hasn’t rested since she got locked up in there. Each time she thought of Draco, she tried harder to be free.
The room is very dark and she feels weak each time she tries to use her magics. Something in there is obviously making her weak and vulnerable.
“You got it all wrong dear pet, am the main devil not his son” Vince said as he appeared inside the room.
He’s sitted regally on a throne, decorated with skulls all around it and Pearl couldn’t help but hate him more as she stared at his devilish face.
Even with the thick darkness, his appearance wasn’t hidden as the devil.
“Release me at once!” She ordered with so much authority notable in her voice.
“That fool has really spoilt you” Vince snarled and slapped her before she could blink.
His move was so fast that it was completely unnoticed. Pearl fell to the floor because of the strong force and held her stinging cheek.
“I swear you’ll pay for this!” she growled bitterly and another slap landed soundly.
“If you want a slow death instead of a fast one, then you should better beg for it than acting foolish” he barked and slapped her continuously like it has become a new sport for him.
When Vince felt satisfied, he kicked her stomach which sent her to the hard wall.
Pearl’s head made a harsh contact with it and her cracked head began bleeding from behind.
She whimpered and reached her hand out to the spot and brought it out to see.
Vince’s eyes glittered with excitement when he saw her blood. He super sped to her and grabbed her neck, raising her up.
Pearl struggled to be free from his tight grip, but it didn’t bulge.
He tore the upper side of her dress and licked his fangs as her smooth neck greeted his face.
Within the twinkle of an eye, he sank his extremely long fangs into her.
“Argghhh!” Pearl screamed out loudly in anguish.
The tears that clouded her eyes finally found their way out and rolled on her bruised reddish cheeks.
