★Chapter 42★
(The Blind Kiss)
★An Unknown Place★
A person covered with a black cloak smiled devilishly, staring at the stolen item.
“Now let’s how strong you truly are!” Came the thief’s dark and sinister voice.
After putting the item into a black box with magic locks, the person disappeared from the room.
★Draco’s Mansion★
Draco hugged Pearl immediately she walked into his room. He’s hugging her tightly but she didn’t hug him the same way.
“Gem, I missed you so much that I nearly went insane!” He whispered before he broke the hug.
“We’ll be traveling together whenever I have a business trip from now” he said and kissed her forehead.
Pearl only replied with a reluctant smile without saying anything.
“Are you hungry? Let’s eat, the table is set already” Draco pointed to the table and she gave it a plain look.
“Am not hungry!” She replied bluntly.
“Have you had something already?” He asked.
“It doesn’t matter. You can eat alone, I’ll be in my room” she said and turned to leave.
Draco felt hurt to see her leave like that and he’s left wondering if anything is wrong.
★In The Woods★
Raven has been sitting in her meditating pose for a long time. She’s trying to regain the energy she lost from her last battle.
“I don’t appreciate visitors, especially the foe ones” she said as she felt someone’s presence.
The person didn’t reply but came out from the back of the tree at her back.
“And if it isn’t the servant fox!” Raven smirked.
Daira threw countless knives at her, but she flew up and dodged them.
“You just picked the worst game, now let’s play” Raven smiled devilishly.
They both started fighting, but Raven is obviously the stronger one with her invisible moves.
“Ahh!” Daira whimpered as she was thrown to a tree.
She got angrier and changed to her true form. Trying to attack Raven one more time, she caught her with a wind spell and threw her miles away.
The force made trees fall as she hit several ones before landing.
“Only someone craving for death would wish to fight me” Raven said, appearing before her.
Those dark eyes of hers and angry look can make anyone pee on their pants.
Daira could only look at her as she made a black sword appear. She’s too wounded to disappear or move any part of body.
Before the sword could do it’s job, Vince appeared immediately and poured something on her. Raven went down instantly and passed out.
“Red dust! Always gets dark witches everytime” he smiled devilishly at her unconscious body, then diverted his gaze to Daira.
“You couldn’t even lay a finger on her” he glared and she hid her face in shame.
Vince created a portal and they disappeared together with Raven.
★De Terrors Training Ground★
The tenth arrow Kira shot went towards a different direction that is not even close to the bull’s-eye. It’s obvious her mind is not in what she’s doing.
“This is how it’s done!” Blaze said and held her hand with another arrow.
He’s shirtless and his abs and tattoos are openly revealed.
Kira swallowed hard not just because of the crazy sight, but because he is standing directly at her back. She can feel his hot breath on her neck.
“I bet you didn’t notice when the arrow was shot” he said, turning his gaze to her.
“Huh!?” She snapped back to her senses.
“You’re really one clueless wolf” he smiled and pat her hair.
“Your tattoos are nice” Kira complimented and brought her face down, feeling very shy of what she just said.
“The next one am getting is your face” he said, raising her chin.
He lowered his head and kissed her. She didn’t push him away, instead she drew him closer and gave in to his touch.
★Blood Clan★
“You’re finally awake!” Vince said, smiling deviously as Raven opened her eyes.
“Why am I here?” She frowned, struggling with the chains on her but it didn’t bulge.
She’s being chained with a spell and the red dust is surrounded all around her.
“Good question! You’re here cause I’m going to use you” he responded with a devilish smile.
“Now I believe you’re truly insane to think I’ll do whatever you want” she glared.
“You’re not going to do anything, I just need your blood” he chuckled and used a knife to her arm.
Raven didn’t wince but had this burning hatred in her eyes for him. She watched the devilish smile on his face grow more as her dark blood flowed.
★Draco’s Mansion★
(Pearl’s Room)
If it was that the body travels with the mind, Draco’s own is certain to get lost.
He hasn’t been himself because of Pearl’s recent behavior. It’s like she is now a totally different person. She hardly talks to him and always makes up excuses to avoid him.
This is not the girl he knows and that is eating him up badly. The worst part is that he can’t wrap his head on what the problem might be.
“Why are you here?” Draco heard Pearl ask coldly.
“This is my house and I have every right to go into anywhere I want” he replied and diverted his gaze from the window to her.
“I see! Then forgive my rude intrusion, I’ll take my leave” she said and turned to leave.
Draco super sped to her and grabbed her hand.
“Gem!” He called softly and she looked at him with eyes glittering of an unknown hate.
“Is something wrong?” His broken voice asked.
“What do you mean?” She furrowed her brows.
“You’re acting strange!”
“Strange?” She snickered.
“Am still the same. If you’re noticing a different attitude, it’s because you deserve it” she said coldly and Draco’s heart shattered from how painful her words were.
“Let go of me!” She said and pulled her hand out of his.
“Pearl!” Draco shouted loudly before she could leave the door.
She became very scared and stopped walking. He sped to her and pinned her to the door.
“Stay away from me, I hate you!” She shouted before bursting into tears.
Draco ignored her and kissed her forcefully. She tried to push him off by hitting and pushing his chest, but he deepened the kiss more.
After three minutes of the hard kiss, he broke it. He looked into her eyes and saw that the care and love in them has returned.
“A Blind Kiss!” He growled as he tasted the spell in his mouth.
“Dra!” Pearl called softly with her tiny voice.
He stared at her with his usual affectionate look and she hugged him tight.
She’s clueless of everything that has happened.
Draco hugged her back and furrowed his brows on her shoulder as he remembered someone.
“That bastard!” He gritted his teeth angrily.
