Poppy rested her back on the door, crying bitterly as her face messed up.
” Mom. I hope you are listening to me. Better hear me out now, I’m not leaving this mansion!. I’d rather die than stay away from someone I love” She said.
Mrs chen sighed and and walked to the door, she tried pulling the door but realised it was locked.
” Poppy. Stop behaving this way and open this door….Please open the door” She said.
” Tell me that we are not leaving here and I’ll let go of the door” She said sniffing dryly.
Her mom sighed and rested her head on the door feeling very distressed.
” Look Poppy, I understand that you love Alec and that’s one reason you don’t want to leave here. I’m thinking in a mother’s perspective cos I care, I care for your safety poppy. You are the only one I have. We lost your dad, we lost your sister in his hands. It’s just you” She said, sniffing hardly.
” But nothing is going to happen to me. Alec has promised to protect me”
” Alec can’t protect you cos he’s the gangster himself, he’s the villain. How can you just trust a criminal”
” No, he’s not a criminal. You guys don’t believe him. He was forced to be a criminal. Why can’t you listen to his backstory, he had a rou-ghpast, mom”
” Poppy. I promise you that even when we leave here, you’ll find someone much better than Alec, I promise”
” No, No!. No one is like Alec. I can’t possibly live without him, I can’t breath in his absence. I swear I can’t”
” Fine!. I understand you love Alec more than you love your mother. Maybe cos you forgot everything I did for you before we got into this mansion. I’ll leave this place and struggle out there by myself. I’ll forget I have a daughter” She said and Poppy heart skipped a bit.
” Mom?” She called, but received no answer.
She came out of the bathroom and met her mom packing up her stuffs.
She halted and looked at her.
” You finally came out”
” I’m sorry, I just couldn’t take that last word you said. I know you’re upset with me” She said, rubbing her arm sadly.
” Come dear” Her mom said and hug-ged her tightly. ” I’m not upset, I’m just heartbroken, I understand how you feel about leaving Alec. I also felt the same way when your father left me.” She said.
” Mom. Can’t we just forgive them and just move on, instead of leaving?” She asked hurtfully.
” The truth is, Alec’s parent aren’t doing anything about those gangster and they are still hunting down your life. I can’t bare see you in pain all cos you love Alec. You’ve been throu-ghenough” She said fondling on Poppy’s face.
“But I don’t want to leave Alec yet. I…I love him” She started sobbing again.
” it’s okay. I’ll let Mr blue decide” She said and smooched her head. “Come, let’s finish the packing” She said and Poppy walked lifelessly towards her wardrobe.
She took out her bag and sat on the bed wondering if this was a dream.
She couldn’t believe they were actually leaving and her life without Alec was coming to reality.
” Mom. Even if we leave, Where are we leaving to?. We don’t have a house, we don’t have anyone.” She turned to face her.
” Don’t be worried, I saved more than enough money to get us a house, we can open a very small restaurant as well. We can’t depend on people for everything.” She said.
Poppy sighed and started packing her things up, her mom helped her to finish the arrangement and when they were done, they went down to the livingroom.
The whole family were down and they were still discussing on how to pull the matter.
Poppy climbed down the stairs slowly with her bag and the she made eye contact with Alec.
Their eyes melted like they could read the intense sadness it was streaming.
” Mr blue.” Mrs chen walked towards the sitting room, pulling poppy wrist along.
Mr blue stood up in awe.
” You are leaving?” He asked.
” What does it seem like we are doing?. You think we can remain here after the truth is revealed that your son killed my husband and now your son’s friend are after my daughter!” She said strictly.
” That’s why we decided to hold this meeting. It wasn’t our fault that your husband was the culprit, it just happened to be” Mr blue said.
” And you guys were the reason I suffered my as-sout, you were the reason to my family pains and you expect me to still work under you!. What shame!”
” Hey, Don’t dare talk to my husband that way. What gave you the audacity!” Mrs blue yelled.
” I cannot take this lightly cos I cherished my husband just the way you cherished yours”
” Then leave this place immediately. Your husband is not here” Mrs blue yelled and Mrs chen wiped her cheeks hurtfully.
” Of course my husband is not here and that’s why we are leaving here for good!” She snarled and pulled Poppy arm forcefully as they stepped out.
” No wait!” Poppy said and her mom halted in her steps. She left hold of her and ran towards Alec, hugging him tightly.
Alec sighed and held her closely, feeling the warmth he cherished in being around her.
” I don’t want to leave, Alec. Tell them I can’t leave you alone” She said sobbing on his shirt.
” They already know” He said and rubbed her hair dearly.
” I love you Alec” She whispered.
” Please stop crying orange and I love you too”
” Don’t let them take me away. Hug me very tightly” She said, knotting her fingers behind his back and Alec pulled her closer.
They kept standing there, hugging in silence.
” Alec!. Let go of her right now!” Mrs blue yelled but he didn’t flinch but kept hugging her tightly.
” Poppy??” Mrs chen called and walked up to her, dragging her away from him.
She glared at Alec.
” Stay away from my daughter if you don’t want to see the last of me!” She hissed and pulled Poppy away strongly.
They stepped out of the mansion and Alec could definitely hear her sob loudly and clearly.
He picked his cardigan from the sofa and tried to leave but Mr blue held his wrist.
” Don’t try to go after them”
” I need to meet her, Dad. I can’t leave her alone!.”
” Then Learn to be away from her from now henceforth. She is not worth it. Stay away from her if you want her to be safe” He said strictly.
Alec’s eyes verge with tears before he stepped up to his room in pain.
He got to his room and Axel walked in, meeting him in sobbing silently to himself.
” Hey, I hope you’re okay dude” He said and Alec palmed his face horribly.
” I couldn’t even say a proper goodbye” He said sniffing hardly.
” It’s okay, Alec. You might be lucky to find her later on. ”
” How?. She doesn’t even have a cell phone yet. it’s going to be pretty hard” He said and rubbed his eyes hurtfully.
” Geez. So you actually do cry?. I thought you were steel” He teased and Alec stared at him with an emotionless look.

XYLAN’S ENTERPRISE **
Lisa pushed the door and walked in, straight to the secretary office.
She palmed the table and glared at her.
” Where is xylan??!” She blurted angrily.
The secretary adjusted her gla-sses as she detected her looks. Lisa was still on her nightie and fli-p flops.
” Where is he?!. Answer me!” She yelled.
” I’m sorry, ma. You should meet the director. You are not allowed to see the boss unless on important issues.”
” I came for a very important issue!.”
” I don’t think so, Ma’am. You look like a drunk mad lady” She said, glaring at her. Lisa pulled out her flops.
” Don’t make me break your eye gla-sses with this. Take me to his office, I need to see him!. I’m his wife” She yelled.
” Okay, fine. Come with me” She said and Lisa followed her towards the elevator.
They got to the third floor at Xylans office and she took her in immediately.
” Xylan!” She stumped into his office and Xylan looked up only to see her half dressed.
” What on hell are you wearing” He panicked standing to his feet.
” Yes, I came all the way from home cos you didn’t return home last night!. Where did you sleep and why did you not pick my calls??” She said
” Is that the reason you dressed half nak-ed to my office. Holy shit, Why do you behave so immature!”
” That shows the level of anger and curiosity I was in and I need answers to my above questions!” She yelled.
” I slept off at an hotel cos I was very mad at you and cos of what you said to me last night” He said.
” Or you went to spend the night at a girls house just to Fuc-k her, huh?” She yelled
” Why would you say that. I was working on my computer all night just trying to get a huge contract for us and you’re here saying something different. What on hell is wrong with your thinking, why would you think I’m flirting with other ladies”
” So you can’t work all night long at your home!. Is there something itching you when we share the same bed!.” She kept on yelling, her vein popping out.
He sighed and pressed his alarm bu-tton before walking back to his seat.
Lisa stood there worrying why he pressed those bu-ttons. Soon, two securities men walked in.
” Throw her out and get her a cab to take her back to the mansion” He said and the two men held her.
” Let me go you bullshit!” She yelled, throwing her legs everywhere.
” Lisa. This would be the last time you dress like this and disgrace me in front of my workers. Get lost” He said and they dragged her outside.

MRS CHEN NEW APARTMENT ** FOUR DAYS LATER
Poppy cuddled herself in bed as she stared at the roof blankly.
Nothing was right ever since she left the blue’s mansion into this new house.
The house felt boring, it wasn’t that big and every furniture reminded her of the one’s in Alec’s room.
She had been crying since the few night she spent and now no tears was ready to fall down her cheeks.
Her mom walked in and brou-ght her a plate of meal and a syrup drug.
” You should come and eat so that you can take your drug” Mrs chen said sitting on her bed.
” I’ll do it later. Drop it on the floor” She said.
” Your online school is starting in the next ten minutes, i thought you made a schedule for all this during the weekend” She said.
” I said I’ll do it later. I’m not ready” She said and turned sideways on the bed
Her mom sighed hardly.
” Poppy. Are you still thinking about Alec?” She asked and Poppy felt her eye glands produce tears again.
” Why not!. I miss him so much.” She sniffed hardly, we-tting her pillow.
” I’m sure you’ll get over it as time goes on. You should make friends with the neighbour teens next door” She said and left the room afterwards.
Poppy sat up and palmed her face to her new Teddy pillow.
She started crying thereafter.

MINIONS SCHOOL** CAFETERIA
Storm walked up to Alec’s table and sat with him.
” Hey berry” She smiled and Alec stared at the table randomly.
” What’s the problem Alec. You’ve been feeling really off this week” She said, palming his face dearly.
He took her hands away.
” I actually need some space to think well” He said and storm stretched out a chip to his li-p.
” Eat something. That might give you more space to think, sweetie” She said and Alec palmed his face with both hands.
” Stop making those memories come back. it really hurt” He said hurtfully.
Storm sighed and cupped her cheeks sadly.
” I understand that Poppy isn’t here with you that’s why you are like this” She said and he looked at her.
” How did you know?”
” She’s been absent for five days now. I asked Axel and he told me its something personal. I guess she might have left the mansion” She said and Alec turned on his phone.
Her picture was his phone frame and the first thing he usually stare at every morning and night.
” i usually see both of you eat together, talk and chitchat. Yeah, I know those old days but she isn’t here anymore. Don’t worry, I’ll make you forget about her and you’ll move on” She smiled.
” No one can make me forget about her. Even if I loose my memory, I still won’t” He said seriously and storm got startled.
” There are girls still better than her. You need to try and see for yourself” She said, biting her li-p se-xily.
Alec shut his eyes and held his chest in pain.
” Aw!” He gasped, breathing fast-er than normal.
” What’s the problem?. Are you okay?”
‘ Hold yourself together, Alec. Poppy isn’t here to stop the pain. No one understands how you feel but her’ His subconscious mind told him.
” Alec. Do you need water or something?” She asked worriedly.
” Sorry, I have to go” He said and left the chair quickly, running towards the toilet.
He got in and stared at the mirror. His nose had started bleeding nonstop and his finger nails were changing state.
He washed his face quickly and he felt his hands, feet, and li-ps trembling as well.
” Ahh” He gasped and leaned on the wall, his breath itching and choking at the same time.
Everything was revolving around him like the ground wasn’t stable anymore.
Soon, he fell and pa-ssed out.

AFTER SCHOOL** CHEMISTRY LAB **
Kookie walked into the lab and met Oceana doing some project alone.
He sighed and close the door slowly before sitting next to her.
” I forgot we were paired on the chemistry practical ” He said.
” Yeah. I’ve been waiting for you but I can actually work it on my own” She said.
” Here. I brou-ght some soda” He said and her eyes glitched happily.
” Oh my, thanks so much” She smiled and sulked throu-ghthe bottle quickly. ” Oh. This one really taste nice” She said staring at the label.
” Yeah. Specially bought by me” He smiled.
She drank it up immediately and turned on the lab equipment holder.
Kookie quickly left his seat, moving out of the room before calling Yvonne.
She picked in the first ring.
” Stay outside the gate now. She drank up all the soda. She’s gonna fall asleep very soon.” He said.
” I’ll be waiting” Yvonee responded.
He smiled and stared at his phone victoriously.
” I’ll also be waiting outside the gate of heaven and hell for you too”
He looked up and saw it was Axel, standing there with a fierce smirk on his li-p.
” Tell me, Who are you?” He asked and kookie jaw dropped.
