Poppy left Alec’s room and hug-ged herself as she walked down the corridor towards her room.
She turned back to check if Alec’s was going to come after her but he didn’t.
Her li-ps formed a very sad, sad pout and she ran into her room and sat on the bed still hugging herself.
” I guess he’s just upset with something else. But he’s not talking to me!. He doesn’t even want to look at me!. It’s hurting me so much.” She sniffed hardly and brou-ght up her dairy.
She placed it on her lap and opened it. It contained every event that has happened in her life.
Her dad’s death was pinned in the first sli-p of her book. She took up her pen and wrote down how she felt.
Heartbroken couldn’t describe her feelings.
From her prom night getting ruined, to getting kidnapped, then sustaining an injury and still get ignored by her boyfriend.
All in one day. Everything felt like life was turning its back on her slowly.
Minutes later, She laid on the bed and started crying hurtfully into her pillow until she fell asleep.

XYLAN’S MANSION
Lisa came in fully and rubbed her dry eyes.
” Xylan please..”
” There’s no room here for you, Lisa. Afterall, cherry is here with us already” Xylan said, pulling her closer.
” But I’m your wife.” She said as she sobbed.
” And I was your husband and Craig was your son. You left us hanging even when we tried our best to get you back to us” He said.
” I wanted you, xylan. I wanted my son so badly. I wanted to come back home to be with you both. You can ask cherry, she was there with me every single night hoping you would come for me.”
” Like I would jump down your roof and meet you when I don’t i have no idea of your whereabout. huh?!” He yelled.
” It’s my fault, Xylan. You don’t have to stress it” Cherry said and they both looked at her. She quickly cleaned the tears on her face and looked down.
” I knew how much you guys wanted to meet eachother. I knew when you talked about your ex wife, xylan, and I also knew when Lisa cried every night cos she left you. I saw you two go throu-ghthis pains and still pretend to be sorry” She said.
” But she could come home if she really wanted to meet with me and the kid” Xylan said.
” She wanted to come home but, she was scared. She told me how you ill treated her. You never gave her attention cos you were always busy. You made her stay indoors and even homeschool her kid. She said she felt like she was living in a prison staying with you. So she left ” She said.
” Is that true?” Xylan looked at Lisa and she quickly nodded.
Miss cherry picked her bag.
” I’ve been interfering in you guys marriage for too long and it makes me feel very awful. I need to leave to give out some fresh air.”
” No cherry. You aren’t leaving. I’d rather exchange Lisa for you” He said.
” She’s your wife. She has a kid for you. I’m not the right person for you, xylan. Just enjoy your marriage and I wish you guys goodluck. Please don’t come after me or I’ll be upset” She said and walked out of the apartment.
Xylan chest felt heavy as he watched her leave. He didn’t even get to express his feelings for her yet.
He wasn’t even aware that Lisa left cos of his behaviour. He could have adjusted if she tried talking to him about it.
He sighed and started to walk away.
” Baby..” Lisa called out but he didn’t reply. She sighed and sat on the couch sadly.
Cherry got out of the mansion and flagged down a cab quickly.
She got in and the driver stared at her.
” Where?” He asked but miss cherry kept being uneasy. ” Excuse me ma’am, where are you going?”
” Oh. I’m very sorry. I’m going to the wall street” She said.
” Are you okay?. You feel restless” He said.
” No. I’m..I’m okay” She said forming a hurtful smile.
” You Sure?.” He asked again, trying to stare down at her face.
” Yes. I’m fine!” She palmed her nose, crying hurtfully. She kept hiccuping in tears and the driver frowned.
” It’s okay, Sorry. I know how it feels. The world is very cruel to everyone too” He said patting her back.
She raised her head and sighed .
” It’s okay, cherry. Just take it and break it. There are still other men out there. Control yourself and be happy. Breath” She said and sighed hotly.
” Are you okay now?” The driver asked.
” I’m fine. You can drive now” She said and the driver sighed before driving away.

SATURDAY MORNING ** ALEC’S BEDROOM
Poppy was walking towards Alec’s room holding a mop stick and a bucket.
She opened the door and peeked in and saw he was awake by his bedside, just leaning his head to the board and staring at the roof.
He seemed to be lost in his thought and Poppy couldn’t do but stare at him.
Her heart kept racing for a moment and she felt scared for no reason.
” Poppy. i know you’re staring at me. Come in” He said even tho he was staring at the roof. she wondered how he noticed her presence.
She bit her li-ps cutely and walked in as innocent as she could, hiding the mop behind her.
” Good morning” She said, curling her lower li-p in nervousness.
” I hope I didn’t interrupt your night” He said staring at her.
” I didn’t sleep well but I’m still fine” She said, itching the back of her hair. He sat up and drew away the duvet.
” Come, Come over and stay with me” He said patting the space next to him.
She dropped the mop quickly and excitedly like a lamb, crawled up to meet him.
” Alec. Last night, you scared me. Why did you ignore me yesterday?. You made me really upset and I cried all throu-gh” She said and he picked her hands, interlocking it.
” I’m sorry for not responding. I was not myself last night. I felt empty and I didn’t know I was hurting you” He said.
” What actually happened?” She asked and Alec sighed hardly.
” Poppy. I really want your safety. And you also want us to remain together, right?” He asked and she nodded.
” It’s either we choose one out of those two now” He said and Poppy creased her brows.
” Huh?. What do you mean I’d choose one. I’d choose both cos I want to be safe and I also want to be with you” She said.
” I know. I’d choose both too. But we can’t guarantee that anymore” He said and she kept a face.
” Why??” She mused like a disappointed kid. He drew closer to her and held her face warmly.
” There is a problem going on in my life. My parent want us to end our relationship as soon as possible” He said and Poppy gasped.
” What!. No way!” She yelled.
” It’s for your safety, poppy. Those gangster won’t stop coming after you if they know we are together.” He said.
” No!. I can’t possibly leave you. No..Not now!!” She said and started to hiccup in tears.
” Shh. My parent mustn’t know you’re here” He said and buried her face on his chest.
” Alec. Whatever happens should happen but I’m not leaving you.” She said sobbing on his shirt.
” Poppy. The more you remain with me, the more harm that comes your way. i don’t want anything to happen to you” He said.
” I don’t want to leave you for anything. Even if my life is in danger, I don’t care I just want to be with you. Even If the whole world is against us, I’d still be with you. I can’t trade you for anything. Please Alec,please don’t let us break up” She sobbed hugging him tight and Alec sighed, running his finger into her hair.
” I want to be with you too, orange. I’m afraid of letting you go. But our parent shouldn’t know about it. They shouldn’t know that we are still dating. Okay?”
” Deal” She scouted like a scout girl. Alec smiled and rubbed her we-t cheeks.
” I’m sorry for making you cry this way. Of course I can’t leave you in my right senses. I really love you.”
” And I love you too, like crazy” She pouted shyly and pulled him closer, ki-ssing him affectionately.
Alec quickly pulled away and stared at her.
” Have you checked the school blog yet?”
” What’s school blog?” She blinked.
” Oh. You don’t have a phone yet. Summer camp Is on Monday and it ends on Thursday.”
” Oh. Does it mean we’ll sleep at school from Monday to Thursday and then summer start falling inside the school?” She asked and Alec palmed his face.
” We visit the woods park for summer camp. Don’t you know what camp is?”
” Camp?. of course I know” She smiled cutely and Alec scoffed.
” At least, We’ll be away from home and get to be with eachother more often”
” Really?”
” Yeah, plus camping is very fun. All the student gets to go there. We have everything we need for the trip, the school even provides cloth.” He said and she palmed his li-ps.
” Shhhh. Don’t ruin the surprise for me yet” She giggled and hug-ged him quickly.

EVENING** KITCHEN**
Mrs chen walked in and met Poppy by the cooking gas.
She took off the gloves and turned to her mom.
” Oh mom you’re back” She smiled.
” What did you do here. it smells as if the kitchen was on fire” Mrs chen said.
” You told me you were going out with Mrs blue so I decided to surprise you with the meal I created. Tarraaa!” She said and opened the the pot.
Mrs chen began to cough really ha-rd only by scenting the food vapour.
” Geez. The scent is cutting my lungs. I hope your food is good” She said and quickly took out a spoon, eating from it.
She started to cough even more hardly.
” What?” Poppy blinked.
” Too much of everything. Cough!. Cough!” Mrs chen said and emptied up a full cup of water.
” Oh no!. But I put so much effort in making it. Mrs blue would be mad at me when she eat my meal!” Poppy gasped.
” Quickly, let’s keep this food aside and create a new one before they___” The door got opened before they could finish and everyone started walking in noisily
” I had informed them that dinner is ready” She said guiltily and Mrs chen sighed.
” I rest your case, poppy. Farewell” She said and joined them in the table.
Poppy took the pot to the dining table and started to serve the family.
She took a seat and watched them pick their fork to eat.
Soon, they all started to cough hardly except Alec, he hadn’t touched his food yet.
Mrs blue was the first to notice.
” Who made this vicious food?”
” It’s me” mrs chen quickly said and Poppy looked at her surprised.
” You?!. Is this your first time cooking for the family?. Is this a meal or suicide food?!” Mrs blue yelled at her.
” I’m sorry” She apologised dearly.
” Why does it taste like they cut the whole pepper garden into the food?” Axel asked and oceana nudged his arm to keep shut.
” I’m sorry. I was rushing while making the meal” She said.
” Are you stupid. You are making a family dinner and you were rushing???. Is that the kind of cook we need here. infact, Your salary for this month is reduced to half, nonsense.” Mrs blue hissed and walked away.
Mrs chen packed up the meal and took them away towards the kitchen and the rest of the family left towards their room.
Alec turned to poppy.
” You made the meals right?”
” How did you know?” She asked sadly.
” I’m very cautious and sensitive, especially when it comes to you” He said and picked his spoon.
” You want to eat the peppering food?”
” I’d always want to eat what my girlfriend does. I don’t care if anyone hates it” He said and Poppy smiled brightly.
He took a spoon into his mouth and quickly threw away his fork, searching for water.
” Ahem!.” He coughed hardly.
” What?”
” I’m full. Your food is really heavenly. I’ll eat Tomorrow. Good night orange” He said and quickly rushed away from the table.

MINIONS SCHOOL** MONDAY MORNING
Oceana was sitting on one of the school breaches, going throu-ghher phone.
She was wearing a spaghetti top and a skimpy skirt, her hair tied in a bun. She was looking like a tall young woman.
Axel saw her and told his friends to step aside so he could meet her.
” Hey. You are looking really awesome without uniform” He winked.
” Like you’ve never seen me without uniform or what?” She asked sa-ssily.
” Just came to disturb your peace.” He said and sat next to her. She leaned forward and rested her head on him.
” Axel I still can’t get over that se-x cravings” She teased him, touching his bulge and Axel pulled her away, adjusting further.
” Let’s maintain a distance from now on” He said and she laughed loudly.
Poppy was walking outside the school holding an icecream. Today was a different day so they weren’t on uniform.
Meanwhile, Vera and her crews were walking towards her and they collided with her arm rou-ghly, causing her ice cream to fall.
” Hey. I didn’t bring extra lunch!” Poppy yelled.
” Come fight us, Mrs Jack hin chan” She laughed.
Kookie came towards them and took up the empty dustbin basket, wearing it over vera while walking away like he cared less.
He walked up to poppy and put his icecream in her hands without her consent.
” Have it” He said and Poppy collected it. ” Next time, be careful.” He patted her hair and walked away.
Poppy stared at his retreating backs and her mind drifted to friday night.
He had this same eyes and voice of that masked guy and it was very alarming.
” Something is not right here. Could that be the same guy” She thought inwardly.
She stared at the ice cream with her and sighed, trashing it inside the waste bin.
” Gather around. The bus is finally here!” The principal said and everyone came into a long line.
Miss cherry took her phone and saw that Xylan had sent her a message of her new secretary job.
She sighed and declined hid message quickly.
” If I have to start up afresh. I’d have to get every distractions away” She said and kept her phone into her trouser.
Two large buses arrived at the front yard and the students started to jubilate.
The boys took the line of the other bus while the girls took the other.
Alec was given his entry number and he got into the long, very long bus. He sat next to the window at the extreme end.
He loved sitting next to the window cos he loved watching outside.
Soon a junior student approached him. He was wearing a big protective hood and a shades.
The short guy sat next to him and nudged his shoulder.
” Hey, cute guy who frowns but still cute” He said and Alec looked at him.
” This is going to be a long trip and I’d prefer to be alone. So just don’t mess my day” He said and the boy chuckled.
He removed his gla-sses and tapped him.
” Senior Alec. its me” He whispered and Alec was forced to look at him.
He saw those adorable eyes and long fleek lashes and his heart skipped a bit.
” Poppy?”
” Shh. I couldn’t help it. I really want to be next to you everytime” She said pouting.
” How did you__”
” Please Alec. Look, I even got the boy’s entry number.” She giggled.
” Poppy. What the heck are you doing!. You can’t act like a boy for four days. Do you know the boys camphouse and girls camphouse are different?” He panicked silently.
” Huh?” She gasped and her eyes grew round in surprise.
