Starr’s POV
I was so nervous, i don’t even know why Dr. Greg have to tell me that, he feel so free talking to me but am a little bit nervous! i b-arely know him and i felt bad about what happen to him.
“anyway thanks for your advise Starr, i have to go now,” he said as he stood up on his feet.
“there’s always a light at the end of every tunnel, that’s my best sayings,” i said while he nodded, i also stood up, ready to leave.
“you don’t have to worry and stress yourself too much Starr, the nurses are taking good care of Kendrick,” he said while i nodded.
“i know but that isn’t enough to me, i just want to be by his side, i was also a nurse, so i just want to take care of Ken myself,” i said.
“you’re a nurse? but what happen? he asked staring at me.
“oh! it a long story… i don’t want to talk about it,” i said while he nodded.
“we are now friends Star and i guess you don’t know how relax i feel whenever am with you. Please feel free to tell me anything am ready to help,” he said.
“but Sir.. sorry about this silly question! why are you helping me out? i asked to know his intentions for doing all these.
“that’s me. But their’s no reason to help others.
But well it just one thing that make me who i am today and that’s because of what i witness what i was a kid. It about my missing best friend Princess who denote her kidney to her sister Sarah but then she got missing on her birthday and till date we’ve never see nor heard about her and the very first day i meet you… you remind me of her. The way you smile, your dimples they way you even do things. I know it such a long time ever since she went missing but you just remind me of her anytime i sees you,” he said while i stunned to hear that, i was speechless. Their was an awkward silence between us and immediately the silence was broken when his phone rang . He immediately picked up the phone call.
“okay then, am on my way,” he said into the phone.
“i have to go now,” he said as he briskly walked out.
I heaved a sighed of relief… was that one of those fairy tales stories i read? or a movie? how could a small girl get lost and was never found and do i really remind him of the girl. I sigh again not knowing what to think.

Later in the evening…✨
I and Dad sat down outside the house, enjoying the cool breeze. I told him about Dr. Greg and how friendly he is with me. It wasn’t like the first time we meet because i thought he was one of those rude, grumpy and arrogant rich kid.
“he’s so different dad, am glad he helped us out,” i said.
“that’s how it all started with Elvis.. right? he asked.
“of course dad, you know how stupid doc Elvis was..”
“you just have to be careful Starr, you have to be more careful. I know you’re Dr. Greg seems so nice but just know that you’re only there for Kendrick. I don’t want you to get into any trouble,” he said while i smiled.
“sure! thanks dad but can i ask you something? i said while he nodded.
“it about mom? what about her. It been long we all heard from her,” i said sadly.
“i and Kate are done a long time ago and sadly she’ll free from prison next year. I just have a bad feeling about this,”
“no dad. I know by now she has change for good and i still feel guilty for everything that happen to this family i know everything was going on fine with all of you but when i showed up everything crumble. I guess am just a bad luck,” i said sadly.
“of course you’re not! don’t ever say that Starr. You don’t have to blame yourself for everything that happen. If only Kate was nice to you and decide to accept you this wouldn’t have happen,” he said.
“if i could do anything to see her out of jail i will gladly do that, i feel so sad it my fault i and Laura grew up without a mother,”
“but at least you have a father who love you.. right? he asked while i nodded with a smile.
“and that’s why am always grateful for you, for showing me all the loved and care you can even thou am not your biological daughter. I don’t know what i would have ever done without you Dad,”
“i hope you find your parents soon Starr, you deserve to know your real family…
“i don’t think that’s possible now. It such a long time now, it fourteen years now. I somehow feel i have lost them forever and after all i don’t even know if i have any family. I still couldn’t remember anything but with my recent dreams the only name i could recall was Sarah. That name sound so familiar in my brain. Its the only name i could still remember and i don’t know why. But lots of people b-are Sarah.. how can i even find the right one,” i said so confused.
“i wish i could help you Starr but your ne-cklace might be the way,” he said..
“i don’t like that ne-cklace anymore, you know how much i hate wearing things like that and it just a mere ne-cklace! well i don’t even know what to say but i just wished for one thing,” i said sadly staring into space.
“so what’s the wish?
“to find my family soon but i promise you nothing will ever change dad, you’re still the man i know as my father and also Laura as my sister. You’ll forever be the people that mean so much to me,” i said then blink away the tears in my eyes.
“thank you Starr, we’ll get throu-ghthis. And am certain you’ll find your parents soon,” he said while i nodded.
Natasha’s POV?
Everything was going on fine between me and Greg not until when he showed up and threaten me, how i can tell Greg about that. That’s my secret i mean if i didn’t go by his order he might end up spilling everything to Greg and am afraid of what the outcome might be.
I sat down on my bed feeling so lonely, this the stupid thing i have ever did because i still love Greg. I quickly picked up my phone and called him but he wasn’t picking up my calls. I called again and again but he didn’t pick, then i later saw his message.
“it already over between us Natasha but i might still consider you, if only you tell me one good reason why you decide to hurt me by calling off our wedding,”***
I read the message then sigh. I guess the best thing is to tell him the whole truth- but i can’t possibly do that and i can’t give him any good reason. My eyes were already clouded up with tears, i still love Greg and i will do everything in my power to have him back, i won’t allow anyone to blackmail me!
Tony’s POV?
I sat down next to see Greg as he told me what actually happen between him and Natasha.
“gosh! i guess she’s hiding something,” i said.
“i don’t know,” he said with a shrugged as he sip his drink. Immediately his phone rang, the caller was Natasha but he didn’t pick, she kept calling but he didn’t care to pick.
“maybe she has something to tell you, why not pick up the call,” i said.
“am not in the mood to hear her fu-cking voice Tony, everything about her irritates me now. I guess it better i be alone for now,” he saw.
“that was bad!
“i will just ask her to tell me what her reasons are for the last time, i just want to know the truth,” Greg said as he typed a message and send it to her.
“and that reminds me of the Starr.. did you know her already? i asked
“sure.. she’s just a friend and she usually comes to the hospital,” he said.
“hospital! is she working there? i asked.
“did you also know her? he asked.
“not really, but i like her already,” i said.
“Kendrick her boyfriend got into an accident, he’s still in coma so she’s always there for him,” Greg explain why i was surprise to hear that.
“that’s such a bad news, i guess am gonna go visit her tomorrow and i hope she’ll show up,” i said.
“of course she will,” he said…

▪▪▪▪▪▪The next day Tony went to the hospital with Greg and as usual Starr was there with Kendrick’s father but they were about leaving, she was surprise to see Tony.
“hi,” she smiled.
“thank goodness we meet again,” Tony smiled.
“yea,”
“am sorry about what happen to.. Greg told me everything,” he said.
“you two know each other?
“sure, he’s a friend,”
“Meet Mr. Sean, Kendrick father’s,” she said while Tony stare at the old man beside her, he was surprise to see him! he felt something more to this but he couldn’t figure out, he couldn’t describe how he felt when he saw him.
“nice to meet you Sir,” Tony said with a smile while Sean nodded with a smile, he looked so transfixed.
“this the guy i told you about! who saved me from Elvis,” Starr whisper to Mr. Sean.
“oh! i get it now, thanks a lot for saving Starr,” he said.
“it nothing after all! Tony smiled.
“okay Star i will just wait for you outside,” Sean said as he walked out.
“what happen to him? was it the guy that later came that night? Tony asked while Stared nodded.
“he got into an accident and he has been in coma for the past three weeks. It wasn’t easy for all of us thou,” Starr said.
“where is he? can i at least see him?
“sure,” Starr replied as she took him to Kendrick ward.
Tony was surprise to see him, his body was connected to lots of wire, he look so pale.
“i don’t know if he’ll ever wake up,” Starr said sadly.
“of course he’ll, am sorry about this am and glad Greg was able to help you in his own way,”
“yes.. am glad he did, thank you for all your support,”
“you’re welcome. Hope we can be friends? Tony asked while Starr nodded.
“sure,” she replied with a small smile…
Greg’s POV?
Today was such a long day, i return back home late in the evening so exhausted and meet Hilary watching TV at the sitting room.
“you’re back already, i have been waiting for you,” she said as she stood up and walked closer to me.
“yea, today was such a long day that why,” i said.
“i thought you’ll get yourself drunk, well thank goodness you’ve gotten over that crazy Natasha,” she squeaked.
“whatever Hilary, i need to rest for now,” i said and was about leaving when the doorbell rang.
“I will just check that,” Hilary said as she rushed to the door.
“and what did you think you’re doing here you bitc-h! She yelled, i rushed to check who was at the door, i was surprise to see Natasha.
“am here for Greg and not for you trash,” Natasha snorted then stare at me.
“am sorry Greg but am here to tell you everything, someone for-ced me to do that…” she said while i shocked and curious to know the person.
“your lies won’t work out Natasha. Greg has already dumped your goddamn as-sso get loss and fu-ck off,” Hilary yelled at her.
“just stop all these,” i yelled, i was surprise when Natasha slapped Hilary.
“the fact that Greg broke up with me doesn’t mean we can’t get back together am here to tell him everything i know so don’t have high hope cos you’ll never have Greg not when am alive,” Natasha fired back and suddenly the two crazy bitc-h got into a fight…
“can you both stop this! i yelled but no one was willing to hear me, suddenly the doorbell rang again and i quickly open and was shocked to see Sarah, she was surprise too, especially when she saw the two bitc-hes fighting.
“uhmm.. i guess i came the wrong time,” she said sadly as she turn to leave but i quickly close the door and ran after her, leaving the two girls to fight…
“Sarah,” i called tenderly as i held her wrist then pull her closer to me…
“those girls are driving me crazy by their attitude and it a good thing you came on time to cheer me up,” i said then hug-ged her, taking her by surprise?…
