🥀Chapter 57🥀.
Finally, The 10-minute intriguing and tough fight was over. Ethan and Eric were alre-ady weard out.
Their face had cuts and bruises. They la-id with their back on the green gra-ss as they looked at the stars.
Ethan blinked his eyes when he sighted a shooting star run across the dark sky.
“Wow. The night is beautiful” Ethan whispered as he looked on.
“Really?” Eric whispered, looking on.
“No… It’s not that beautiful–Ethan sighed and closed his eyes.
…..I’m overwhelmed and astonish by you guys great acting. You should be given a golden medal” He added
Eric turned his head to him and kept mute.
“Why did you lie to me?” Ethan asked, with his eyes still closed.
“You never asked” Eric replied
“Then, Why did you pretend?” He had tears flowing down his close eyes. He rested his arm on his face trying to hide his tears.
Eric sighed and looked back at the sky.
“Don’t irk me…. Alexa likes you, That all that matters”
…..You like her too, Don’t you?” Eric asked, now turning again to him. Ethan’s face was still covered with his arms. He was still crying painfully.
“A lot” He finally replied, after some hesitation.
….You can take her, My heart is now shut from others. I’m also embarra-ssed!” Ethan added.
“Embarra-ssed? You’re regretting what you did, right?” Eric asked
“No. There’s a difference”
“Aiish. What’sfu-cking difference?” Eric scoffed
“I’m just embarra-ssed that I locked my heart again when it was almost opened. But, I’m not regretting it because just like her, I’m also hurt… So badly hurt” His voice sounded shaky due to his cries.
“What do you mean, hurt? You were the one that actually made her feel hurt!”
“No one would un-derstand. You aren’t in my shoes. You should know me, I’m so hot tempered. Seeing Alex as a girl made me mad, I couldn’t control myself. I’m a crazy fool! Anyways, Only Alexa’s case would be un-derstood….Finding out a guy whom I thought I was getting crazy for, which looks and sounds weird of course.. Is actually a girl, whom everyone knows about excluding me? It’s painful. I mean, I see you guys everyday so why not me?? Who knows, I would have un-derstood her then”
“What difference would it be if she told you then? What’s the difference between now and then?”
“ma-king me a “total fool” now. Then, I was just a “cute fool”. If you wanna know the difference between now and then, Check your debut pictures and recent ones”
Eric laughed at this statement. Ethan couldn’t help but smile.
“Eric? I think it’s too late for I and Alexa. Take a shot now, Who knows she might be yours” Ethan whispered, turning his head to him. Eric looked at him and chuckled loudly.
“Huh?”
“I know you have feelings for her” Ethan retorted
“No. She pushed me away alre-ady. I think I’m just gonna wait till forever?” Eric tittered. Ethan gave a slight nod and inhaled de-eply.
“Are you gonna be okay with it,though,If I give another shot?” Eric asked, breaking the silence.
“…………No, I’m not okay with it” His reply c@m£ briefly and slowly.
“Huh?”
“But here’s nothing I can do. I’ve locked and shut my heart alre-ady. Remember? So, Give it another shot” Ethan replied and stood up.
“You leaving alre-ady? I guess you should wait for another round of fight. Or are you exhausted alre-ady?” Eric pla-yfully jeered.
“I would love too. But thanks to the fight, I just lost 49.9% of my temper. Thanks for relieving it. By the Way, You’re a good fighter” Ethan smiled walking away as Eric scoffed.
“Oh Goodness.. He’s so difficult to un-derstand. I don’t know if he still loves her or not? He’s sure one ha-rd guy! But I’m sure, He loves her. It’s gonna take a while. Alexa, Take heart or feel free to come to me” Eric whispered to himself as he watched Ethan leave with his limping legs which was caused by the tough and rou-gh fight.

It had been 3 days alre-ady but Alexa didn’t give up. She didn’t care about what people said, gossiped or even the rumors about her being obsessed with Ethan who took her as a mere stranger.
Alexa texted, called, left voice mails and even s-ent few letters to him. However, Ethan was strong headed. He ignored them all.
Instead, He shut himself in his room. At times, He stayed in the bathroom with the showers on for more than 5 hours. He would just stand there, with his clothes on, in de-ep thoughts. He would also shed tears due to the bitter events he encountered.
His friends, Eric and Ken were worried and concerned. Ethan rarely ate too. He would lose appetite and lock himself up 24/7. Laura met him few times and of course, He pretended in front of her. They were now cute couples who c@m£ back together again. Many heard of the news.
As if that wasn’t enough, Alexa began to visit him. She would just bend down by the door, waiting for him.
Ethan noticed this one day and called Collins.
☎ Hello? Hyung (Older brother)? Collins smiled as soon as he picked up the call.
☎ Come over to my place.
☎ What? Why?
☎ Your sister is problematic and irksome. She causing ruckus so, come now!
☎ What.. I don’t un-der•Beep!•
“Huh? What’s wrong with him?” Collins confusedly scratched his head. He sighed and ran out, called a taxi which took him to the Skyy Boys place. He looked for their door and eventually, found Alexa who was now sitting by the door resting her face on her knees.
He sighed de-eply and tapped her shoulder. “Noona…. Let’s go” He said. Alexa looked over and re-moved her gaze.
“Go without me” Her voice was dry.
“What do you mean Go without you? I c@m£ to get you!”
“Now I’m telling you, To go without me”
“For crying out, Stop being pathetic and outrageous!” He yelled, stomping his feet.
“I just nee-d to meet with Ethan first. If only you can be patient–
“Oh Goodness! He was the same guy who called me saying you were irksome! Stop this alre-ady, Noona!! I don’t know what going on, But you’ve gone too far! Let’s go!!” Collins sighed.
Alexa looked at him with a dull, pale look. She stood up slowly and bit her dryl-ips.
“I’m leaving first” She whispered and began leaving. Collins sighed and followed her from behind.

Alexa started dressing as a girl now. She wore the dresses her father bought for her including earrings and all.
Elizabeth taught her few things about being girlish. The way you ought to talk, walk, eat and so on.
Alexa changed and started a new, normal and refreshing life though it was still clear, she was still in love with Ethan and wished to be with him again.
She waited patiently for him. Finally, She got registered at a work place where she began learning how to make and design good looking clothes for Men only.
She was the only girl in the workplace. That didn’t stop her. She was truly devoted to her work and made excellent results from her work. She was learning pretty fast.
The others were surprised, especially her boss. She was loved by all.
*****(THE POLICE STATION)*****
“Awwwn… So next tomorrow is finally your trial. Too bad, you’re gonna rot in jail” Laura laughed loudly.
“You must be happy” Deborah laughed too. Laura stopped laughing and looked at her. She found Deborah’s laughter annoying and a bit scary.
“Why are you laughing? I should be the one laughing” Laura looked at her, with an obnoxious look.
“I’m just laughing… That it’s not gonna be the normal happy ending we wished for–
“What?? Hey!! Stop laughing! You’re so annoying!!” Laura heard her heart beat fast.
“I warned you right? I told you not to tell the police. Oh, What did I say…would happen if you did?” Deborah sm-irked as Laura looked at her, frightened.
“Answer me… What’s that look? Aah–Deborah giggled.
……Don’t tell me ya scared? Oh yeah… You should be. After all, He’s gonna die”
“You’re crazy–Laura swallowed ha-rd.
….You’re locked in here. There’s no possibly no way–
“Tsk! Tsk! Don’t say that, Dearie… You guys really un-derestimate me. You don’t know what I’ve been planning, huh?”
“Wh…. What? Is someone possibly helping you? I’ve got to tell Mr Murphy!” Laura stood up.
“No…..Ha ha…. There is no nee-d”
“Huh???”
“Now,…. Deborah opened her mouth to say another word and laughed loudly again in a wicked manner. She watched Laura’s eyes get teary.
“Now,….. You can guess who’s gonna help me” Deborah’s face formed a cornered annoying smile with her eyes getting wi-de. Laura shivered as her tears re-leased the tears which flowed in a straight line.
